None of this well your blah blah blah *car speak* needs this. Nope, just the oil change followed by have a nice day now! Love this place!

I had to have my sons car repaired while he was attending ECU. Ronnie (owner) got us in quickly, made the diagnosis quickly and had the car back to my son in a day. Super easy to work with and communicated with me every step of the way. Its hard to find mechanics you can trust, especially when you or your child is several hours from home. I will 100% trust Ronnie and his shop with any future repairs.

Plaza Service Center should NOT be confused with the other plaza center- this one is the original, just in a better location.I dont go anywhere else. Ronnie (owner) is honest, extremely knowledgeable.I am so grateful that he keeps my 98 Avalon alive, and running well. Through my 5++ cars, Plaza Service Center has always been top notch in service and expertise.

This is the only mechanic shop I will go to. The guys here really look out for you and help you the best they can. Theyre not all about the money, they actually care. Which is pretty rare nowadays I believe. They do good affordable and quick work. Definitely recommend

This place don’t deserve a star at all.. we took our car there today for alternator replacement.. when I got back in the car the air, radio or speed odometer wasn’t working.. the owner was rude with my husband and I trying to say it was a computer issue.. mind u all those things I just listed was working properly when we dropped car off.. instead of them saying the didn’t connect something right they going to say it’s other stuff like those issues was there prior!! They took the car back to check if it was on there in and bring it back suggesting we get it towed somewhere else that specializes in computers on vehicles.. God is amazing cause me and my husband decide not to get it towed from there but drive it home instead to get towed. When we cranked car everything is functioning.. with that being said he took car to the back and connected whatever he left unconnected.. all they had to do was own up to there mistake no harm no file but instead we got attitude and lies😡 on top of that he kept saying we got bad alternator and miss diagnoses from auto part store.. He told young lady at the desk to print out a sign they will no longer service cars that bring in there on parts.. all that instead of Admitting something didn’t get connected back on there in.. we will not be returning!!!

They have quick in and out service with car inspections. My daughter got a great price on a new set of tires also. Friendly.

Normally, I try not to leave reviews as I always like to give the business/owner an opportunity to “make it right”, as I thought that this owner did but definitely did not. I only went to this shop because my grandmother and mother have used this shop for years, even when they were located at the corner of Greenville Blvd. and Arlington Dr. so I felt that they must do honorable work. I went to Carolina Tire, this shop and they both were saying two different things that were likely the issue, so with that, just to get a sure answer, I took my car to the car dealer—Kia. Now granted, the owner did warn me beforehand that he was thinking that it was the struts that needed to be changed but that they may not be the issue but he wouldn’t know until he repaired the struts first. The owner said that he needed to order the parts so got me to be 100% sure that I’d be allowing him to service my car and so I agreed. When I picked my car up, he said the knocking that was occurring was no longer happening but my steering wheel was making a clicking sound but told me that Kia had a recall on the issue; also I did think that my car radio was messed up as usually when I I press the power on button, my radio immediately turns on but it was super delayed for some reason and the owner tried to be sarcastic when I got back as if I was just trying this find things wrong now but I promise you on everything I love that my steering wheel had no issues prior to that day, I mean why would I not have had him to go ahead and address/repair that issue as well if that was the case?? So he proceeded to say, “I noticed that issue on your car when you brought it in before” oh really, wow, he surely never mentioned noticing it prior to me picking my car up on that day. Then of course, the knocking was still existent so instead of trying to fix the problem, he referred me to another shop that diagnosed the issue differently than what he said. I took my car to Washington, NC, within 30 minutes, told me that it was the bushings that was the issue. It took me going to 5 shops to finally get someone that knew what they were doing and my car is perfectly back to normal. I wasted $400 for a right strut being replaced that was not even the issue. I will never use this shop again and neither will my relatives as there was no effort to resolve my issue even when I told a Ronnie that my car was still knocking. I only gave two stars because I’ve used them in January to do my inspection and replace my rear brakes and that experience was good but this second time was my first and last visit.

I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. As a young woman Ive had issues with mechanics in the past, but never with these guys .The staff at plaza is professional and honest. They do the work thats needed for a fair price and dont try and push unnecessary services just to up the bill. If you want an honest, skillful mechanic at a fair price look no further

Found my cars problem and fixed it. We have been bringing our cars for repairs several times over the last year (theyre getting older) and they have consistently been reasonable in price which is important to me and fixed them right the first time. The owner is a legit scam artist. I recommend no one to shop or get their car repaired at this shop. The owner will lie in your face and fix your car without your permission. I took my car there to get a quota to see what is wrong with it and I asked the owner to let me know a price before he fix my car. As in do not drive my car into your shop until you confirm with me a price. Instead he undermined me and fixed my car without my permission. And then charged me a arm and a leg! Lesson learned for me I will not be back and I recommend whoever is reading not to go as well.

I took both my wifes car and mine here to have them inspected on a Friday morning around 8 am. This is when they opened. I did not have an appointment. I showed up and was greeted quickly. Everything went smoothly. Both employees that helped me were very nice and a pleasure to work with. It took them around 10 minutes to inspect both cars. Thats quick. I was finished in no time. I have no complaints. I will have our cars inspected here next year. Thanks and good job Plaza Service Center.

This business offers service for your vehicles. The owner is very nice and professional. He has great mechanics and service men. They also perform vehicle inspections. I highly recommend this service center to anyone.

I have been a customer of theirs for 25 plus years. The staff is willing to help you very honest and trustworthy! They offer most services and I can usually walk in get an oil change in under 30 minutes. I have sent several friends and family to them. Its nice knowing I can trust someone with my car.

Went in a little while ago for some basic work; power steering fluid flush and brake fluid flush. It was pretty obvious they had a line up of vehicles that they were working on, but they were great about getting me in and taken care of. They have always been very reasonable with their prices and I would definitely recommend them.

I have been a long time customer of Plaza Service Center and happened to be in the same day as Sam Lynn. Her account of the happenings could not be further from the truth. She was treated in a very professional manner, yet continued to make an issue where one did not exist. Patrons arent allowed in the work area due to insurance reasons. This was explained thoroughly and in a professional manner and she acted completely inappropriately.You will not find a more courteous and honest person than Ronnie Taylor.

This is the best kind of old-fashioned mechanics garage. No fancy decor, and they are not trying to sell you anything. They just identify and fix your problem, for a good price. Nice guys!

Do not take your car there, they charge a bit less than others, but they are not honest. Here is my story: my car was functioning well without any problem, but the coolant was dirty and I had to change it. I took my car there, only because they charge less relatively. They changed the coolant, but they did something to my car that it started leaking! I return the car to them, the said 1 hose is cracked! They installed new hose and charged 200$! But, they couldnt solve the problem! Then they said the radiator is cracked and charged 500 $! The problem hasnt been solved! The leaking continued! Then they said there is a problem with water pump! This time I took to the dealer! They diagnosed a problem with the hose that Plaza guys installed it! Waste of tome and money. I dont recommend at all.

Ive been going to Ronnie for years to have my vehicles inspected as well as my parents. He has always treated us courteously and been very professional. His prices are fair and he explains everything to me as if he was my uncle or family member. I refuse to take my truck anywhere other than to him, simply because I trust him to do only the work which I ask to be done. He does recommend services for the future and understands how it can be financially rough to get everything done all at the same time. He even sends email reminders to let me know when it is time for certain services on my truck to be done. Most places wanted to charge me over $45 for an oil change, he only charged me $35 and even looked into some of my concerns about the battery possibly being bad. I recommend him to all of my friends and co-workers!

I called Plaza Service Center right at 8AM when they opened with a dead battery - they could not have been more helpful, and I was in and out within 20 minutes there! Could not recommend this place more highly - the staff working there were helpful and very kind!

I would never recommend this place. My car broke down, and I didnt know what was wrong with it, so I had it towed to them. They said they fixed all the issues and charged me $450 for the repairs. The very next day the engine had problems, so I brought it back to them and they said the engine gasket was blown and would cost $1,500 to fix. I came back in to talk to them about why they charged me to fix a car with a broken head gasket and the owner was extremely argumentative, rude, in my face and said that he stands by his work and that I broke the car. He said it was my fault and that I didnt tell him enough information. I will never be coming back here. Beware

The person at the front desk lacked manners and was very rude . He even rudely tossed my inspection papers at me because i was simply explaing my concerns as a female that many places screw them over when they go to mechanics. Not once did i say he would do the same thing. He however took it as an insult instead of assuring me that he wasnt like other places. Its very sad because at my work females are always asking for reccomendations for mechanics. If you were having a bad day dont take it out on the customers.

Dont base this place on their 4 star rating. Obviously, friends of the garage have rated it. I went a few weeks ago to have an alignment, balance (as needed) and rotation. Looking at the reviews I decided to give them a try. I called and their prices were good. They dont take appointments (not necessarily a good thing). Told 45mins or so if I waited, but recommended I drop off. Took in at 11am next day. Said they would get to it after lunch. Expected a call back around 2pm at the latest. No word. Called back at 4:30pm (they close at 5pm) and said my car was still on the rack and would be done in 15mins. Picked up at 4:50pm, immediately noticed tires not rotated. Red Flag! (plus greasy footprints in my floorboard). Doesnt take a brain surgeon to figure out. Hand prints all over the front rims and not one single one on the back two. Impossible to do given the process required to rotate and balance. Only new weights added to the front tires, with old weights still there and none on back. Cant do properly w/o removing all of them. The alignment was worse than when I brought it in. Steering wheel is crooked and camber is off. This means even if they did attempt to align it they didnt finish. Said everything was done. Would only give $12 back, or rotate. They combined it with the higher price alignment and balance ($100 charge).I took back (hesitant). Lots of cars in parking lot. Said that they had 3 engines torn apart (not my fault). What it comes down too (even though they did rotate after I called them out) is they only did half of what they charged me for. They got in a bind and rushed it out before close. Thats all they were concerned with. I would rather them told me they couldnt do, it then to half-butt it. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I WOULD NOT recommend this place based on my personal experience. Now Ive got to take it somewhere to have it fixed.

I had to get my engine rebuilt after I went to Plaza . Their mechanics purposely overfill your oil level so youll spring leaks. They in return, hope youll let them drop you a new motor in. Hah no thanks ill go to another mechanic. Lesson Learned. This place is starving for money.
