I have been in the auto industry for 27 years and cant believe the cost and the deception I see in some of the quotes Ive see from this place. I sold a customer of mine a vehicle and they took it to you to have it looked at for a problem and came back with $1490 worth of fixes and recommendations. The vehicle was serviced at the time of sale and inspected by 2 different facilities and found that at most the closest thing to being needed in recommendations was the trans flush. The problem they found and they were charging a much higher labor rate than I have seen before. I referred them to my shop which is 80 per hr. labor and the total bill came to $832.52. What a difference. Wondering why the parts mark up was so high? Why the labor is so high?

I have brought my car here a couple of times now. They are very professional, kind, and convenient! They do an amazing job for the best price and service. I will definitely bring my car back to them in the future the next time I need any service done. They seem honest and do the job in a timely manner. I was nervous picking out a repair shop since just moving to this area, but I think I made the right choice!

Haven’t gotten the car back yet, but everyone here was amazingly detailed about what was going on with my car. They treated me like I’ve been there 100 times. I’m really happy with the first part off the process. And they called me within a day to tell me what exactly was wrong. I’m impressed.

My mini van was cranking but not starting. Had it towed here and it cost $1000 to replace my spark plugs, wires and distributor cap and rotor. My complaint is they give me a printout of all these things they look into on my car. Brakes, tires... I felt if they just diagnosed the problem and fixed that alone, I could have saved at least $300. If you want full vehicle checkup, this place does it. If you want your car fixed for just main problem and minimal cost, should go somewhere else.

I came in for a wheel barring they estimated $600 I just went there cause it was closer and i got it fixed for less than 300 including the tow an hour away at another place which was fine. But my car literally started falling apart after I took it here and when he drove my car back to me after I told them I wanted it done somewhere else he was so aggressive with my car driving it back to me knowing my car could fall apart in the parking lot😐

I really appreciated their level of professionalism and letting me know through their link what needed to be done now and what could be done in the future. Highly recommend them!

TMT was wonderful! The customer service is better than anything I have ever experienced in an auto shop! 5 stars on all counts!! They even dropped me off at work and then brought my car to me when it was done. Amazing.I also loved the detailed and color coded report that they sent me about my car. I’m was happy with the service after the fact that I almost had to take my vehicle somewhere else because they were too much. they didn’t look around to find the cheaper price on the parts when I found oem parts half the price then what they told me. Next time they need to find the cheapest price then contact the customer. I did greatly appreciate that they had a loaner vehicle for me to drive and they looked at everything on the vehicle

TMT Automotive sets a new standard for independent auto services -- and at reasonable rates. For quick repairs TMT offers a nice customer lounge with amenities, such as WIFI, work space. phone, TV, etc., typically beyond what is offered at new-car dealerships.

They do great work and very quickly got our vehicle in for repairs. Their inspection report provides clear details on issues using color coding, green for passed, yellow for non urgent and red for issues needing repaired soon. Included photos as well. Very happy with the service and communication from them.

The guys that work there are great, even discovered my new tires I had just for two weeks, had one tire smaller than the other three. What the heck, seems DISCOUNT TIRE made a mistake. Theyre putting a new tire on today. THANK YOU GUYS AT TMT. 🙏❤️

I brought my vehicle here to be checked out. Apparently the engine was ceased up. With no vehicle and currently junking ours in the back of this auto shop, we were not only harassed by the gentleman who sits at the desk but also another worker. They were harassing us for the $160 charge for “telling us” the engine was ceased. Now I understand they need to make their money. But we were PARKED in their back lot (with no way of getting around them) while my son was emptying the car. We had no reason to just leave and not pay yet this is the vibe and judgement towards us. I will NEVER again come here. They were rude, judgmental and condescending about demanding the money (while unpacking the car). I hope the $160 was worth such pettiness. I am just disgusted!

Excellent service, dropped off vehicle late in the day and got it checked out quickly. They even gave me a loaner car that night for then next day. I would definitely recommend them, I will be using there service again.

I dropped off the night before and he had a loaner car ready for me after discussing what services were going to be performed on my vehicle the next day. The following day he touched base with me several times to keep me informed and that some other items needed addressed. He gave me options and we decided to do some work now and some at a later date. My vehicle was finished that same day and pick up was just as seamless as the drop off. TMT Auto is no Quickie-Lube. This place knows how to do good work and they offer a fair price To do it. Don’t expect a 30 minute turnaround and a bandaid for your car’s problems. Expect quality.I brought my older Toyota Tacoma to the boys at TMT; told them that even though it’s older I’m aiming to keep the thing running for decades to come—it’s my fishing and camping rig. The diagnostic test they ran and the pictures and videos they shared with me helped me to see what exactly needed to be done, and Adam very nicely explained to me the repairs that I didn’t understand quite as well as others. We had a good discussion not only about the maintenance that needed to happen immediately but also about those things he diagnosed that could wait and be done in time as I could afford them. I never felt pushed to spend more, or fix every small thing immediately. It’s clear that Adam and his crew understood not only what my Tacoma needed in order to run well, but also what I needed to know in order to make informed choices about the health of my truck now and “down the road” (pun intended).This was my first experience with the crew at TMT-Granger—my wife and I will most definitely return for regular maintenance on all our vehicles. Everyone I talked to there was very professional and everything was done in a timely manner. Thanks, guys! The staff was overly accommodating and understanding. Im a night shift nurse and live about 35 minutes from there so they loaned me a car to drive home and was considerate of the fact that I would likely be asleep while they worked on my car. They were patient and waited for me to contact them back. The added personal touches are so thoughtful and kind! Ill definitely be back.

Staff are very courteous and the service was great. My issue was with the cost. I had an oil change and the replacement of an air filter AND a coupon and the cost was just under $65.00. The receipt reflects a savings of $24.00, which means without it , the cost would have been over $100.00! Even with the coupon, I felt that the pice was unreasonable for the services provided. I would not recommend to anyone.

Decided to try TNT automotive of Granger a try due to its convenient location as well as providing a loaner vehicle when necessary, as I use my vehicle daily and is crucial for my job. I would have given 5 stars but did not due to the fact that I originally was scheduled to have one of their loaner vehicles and showed up to drop off my car but was told there was not a loaner vehicle available that day. So I had to reschedule once again for a day when a loaner vehicle would be available that one again worked with my schedule.Even though it was inconvenient and a screw up on their part, I will use Tmt again as they were thorough with their work, prices were competitive (especially with a coupon), convenient location and the free loaner car is a huge deal for me when having work done on my primary vehicle.

TMT in Granger recently serviced my husbands car and we had such a great experience. They explained things well, gave us options, and provided a clean new loaner vehicle to use while the car was being serviced. We also received follow up texts to ensure that everything was running smoothly (which of course it was). We cannot reccomend the kind, easy to work with professionals at TMT enough!

Great service from Adam and his team of mechanics on my 2009 F150. My truck is nearing 150K and needed more work than I thought it did after my first visit to TMT. I was doubtful. But the inspection report was thorough, and I got a plan. The team fixed me up, and now I know what I need to keep an eye on. Also, thanks to the owner Mike for setting up a repair shop with free loaners, which makes getting maintenance and repairs so much easier.

I had a routine oil change performed on my car. I like the fact they were able to take me to my office that morning. The car was serviced in a timely manner. I was able to settle everything over the phone. I love the fact that they delivered the car to me before the end of the work day. Great service!

Driving by for groceries, noticed the “tire sale” sign. Stopped in, they gave us three options, reviewing the least expensive first, which was refreshing. Great experience for tires, alignment and oil change.

They took my car in and got it fixed within 24 hours and took the time to talk about all issues I had with my car not just what I brought it in for.

I got my oil changed for $20 and they gave me a full diagnostic, offered loaner vehicles while mine was being worked on, sent me a gift card to starbucks, and then texted later to make sure things were still good. Happy to have had a great experience!

Do NOT take your car here for service. We went in because it was time to change our timing belt. They broke something on the engine in the process. They “fixed” it and the car was given back to us. The engine started up rough. The next day our check engine light was on so we took it back in. The code for the diagnostic suggested it was what they broke and tried to repair. Yet they claimed they didn’t know what was wrong and just reset the check engine light. Meanwhile we took it to Rick’s 66 and they found the problem (what TMT Granger broke) and had to machine the parts. $1400 later we took the bill to TMT and asked them to pay for what they broke and were too incompetent and dishonest to fix and we were told they will do nothing to help us. They said it was under warranty with them but we took it back to them and they didn’t know how to fix it. So we had no choice but to take it elsewhere. Horrible company. Their owner won’t own up and do the right thing.Update: Ownership called back again and rectified the situation.

Over priced parts and fees. Two diagnostic fees that are not applied to price. Then they double the price for the same parts you can get at auto zone or advanced auto. All done under umbrella of a 3 yr warranty deal. Wont recommend or return.

I am from a town 45 minutes away and my car died in Granger. When I called Legacy Tire and Auto Service, they came and towed my car back to their facility. They were very helpful that night and one even waited with me until I could get a ride back home. I had nothing but nice things to say about them until I went to pick my car up. The owner was extremely rude to me and refused to tell me anything about my car. As I am driving my car home, I notice that it still isnt running correctly. I took my car into a local dealership who found that Legacy Tire and Auto Service rigged my wires in my car to make it work, but did not fix the problem. I spent over 300 dollars for them to fix the problem and now I have to spend another 300 dollars to fix the same problem that Legacy should have done. I am very displeased with this company and will not be going back. What really infuriates me, is they knew I would be driving 45 minutes back home with a car that could have died any minute. I will not have a car for a week while it is being fixed because the other company told me it is unsafe to drive and it will take 4-5 days for the part to come in. I would NOT recommend this company. I was not only lied to, but treated very poorly.

After $1500 in brakes and lines, the caliper leaked and the brakes were near fail after less than 3k miles. They told me I would have to pay to have it fixed, that was just unacceptable. Go somewhere else and save yourself the headache.
