Had new flooring installed in my living room only took them 5 hours. And then I realized my kitchen looked bad next to the living room so I had them come back and finish off the kitchen hallway and pantry. It took them about 8 hours to finish off the rest. Looks fantastic done great and very quickly installers were very professional and just nice people all around. Highly recommend

From the beginning to the end, the project was painless! Sharee was available to answer any questions and make sure I was satisfied. The two men that did the install were efficient, well organized and kept everything clean as possible during the process. I am very pleased with the outcome! I wish I had a before picture but just the after. The main level was done in Luxury vinyl planks and the stairs up and down were recarpeted.

We hired FCI to pull up the carpet on our first floor, install luxury laminate flooring and add hardwood stair treads. They communicated well and did a nice job. Very responsive to questions and fixed an issue I noticed after installation. It looks very nice.

Im very happy with the flooring - the only thing that I wish could have been done better is the leveling process of uneven flooring.

The work the gentleman did in our very oddly shaped upstairs bedroom was astonishing. It took them only 6.5 hours to knock out 450 sq. ft. of area with a lot of odds and ends. The stairs took a little longer only because it was a new system they were trying and it came out beautifully! Couldnt recommend them enough. They also fixed a door of ours that was slightly misaligned which was greatly appreciated

Floor Coverings International were so easy and professional to work with. Erick helped with samples, options and pricing (which was very competitive and reasonable). Sharee sent along details, and Dave and Eric were awesome installers. What started out as just new floor in a toy room, turned fitness room, we ended up taking decent carpet and having that seamed for an area rug, updated some other rugs in our entry ways and updated floor in our den and back entryway. Communication was on point and felt very comfortable with the entire process. We highly recommend FCI! Thank you all!

The only reason I’m giving this company 2 stars instead of a 1 star review is because the carpet and communication to which I had no issues with. If you are considering doing laminate flooring with them, I highly suggest to reconsider and go with a different company or do it yourself. My job was supposedly completed by one of their best laminate flooring contractors and it was poorly done. To state I had a professional company install my flooring would be an insult to other professional flooring companies. It seems corners were cut to just make the job be done quicker. The translation pieces were poorly placed, they used nails to keep transitions down instead of the transition tracks. Due to this when stepping on the transition piece, nails pop through and poke you in the bottom of your foot. The cutting of laminate pieces were very uneven along multiple straight edges. I requested for them to fix mistakes made, and while doing so more mistakes were made and not fixed. I now again had to reach out to have them come fix. I wish I would have just done it myself instead of giving out that much money to just have it look like I did it myself anyways.Laminate flooring - go through different company. Carpet - ok to work with.Communication - professional, but seems to want to take advantage of young home owners to get out of doing the job completely.

We are new to the Saugatuck area. Our Realtor suggested we contact Erich to replace heavily damaged floors. They both provided great communication and were so pleasant to work with. The installers were professional and very talented, especially Paul and team for carpet and Dave for the hardwood. They did great cleanup too. If we need additional flooring in the future we will gladly contact Floor Covering International.

This was a wonderful experience. It was completed on time and looks beautiful. We have a lot of heavy furniture and they included the furniture moving in the estimate. They knew more about the materials in the carpet and flooring than the other business we had estimate the job. The two estimates were similar, but Floor Covering International’s flooring and carpet were both of a higher quality. Another interesting thing...FCI spent at least a half hour or more measuring for the estimate. The other company was at the home less than 10 minutes. I don’t know if that mattered, but it seemed like they were very careful.

They were great to work with. They repaired a water damaged area that the water contractors had torn up to dry. They were able to repair the flooring damage in a day whereas the water contractor wanted to tear up and replace the entire 1st floor! The water had only affected less than 1% of the first floor. Now its good as new!

After getting the run around from another local flooring company, we finally decided to move on and give Floor Coverings International a call for an estimate. We are so glad we did! Start to finish everyone we had contact with was amazing and responsive. The installer had to come back to finish our stairs because we didnt realize we needed a skirt board before the carpet could go on. Sharee kept us updated and even came out to inspect the finished job when it was all done. Dont bother calling other places for estimates, trust the other fantastic reviews because you wont regret it!

When we decided to install wood floors, we interviewed several companies and ultimately went with Floor Coverings International. Erick came to our house (wearing a mask, of course, we didnt have to ask) and walked us through our many options. He was incredibly helpful assisting us to choose the floors that would be best for us, since we have kids and pets. It was so fun to look at all the samples and he gave us several estimates on different options so we could stay within our budget.The installation went great, too! We installed wood floors on all the carpeted areas of the main floor of our house: living room, hallway, and two bedrooms. Dave and Eric were our installers and they were fantastic. There was obviously noise, but they coordinated with my husband who works from home and my kids were still able to do their online school without issue. They cleaned up at the end of every day - we were living in their work zone, but they made it as pleasant as possible. It took about 7 full days of work and we did a final walk through before they signed off.Sharee, Ericks wife, maintained regular communication with us as well, making sure that the installation was going well and we didnt have any issues.Our new wood floors give me heart-eyes! I love how easy it is to clean them and theres a special bonus of watching our pets go sliding across the floor as they get used to them. My husband, who was on the fence about wood floors, is already musing about how to get them in our basement. Our whole experience with Floor Coverings International has been easy and positive. I would recommend them to everyone!

I cant say enough good things about FCI Grand Rapids. First, Erick and Sharee made everything effortless. Erick came to my house, looked at what I needed and made recommendations, while finding a way to save me some money. They even hired contractors for some non-flooring issues I needed to have addressed. Sharee kept in contact with me the whole way through, making sure everything was done on-time and seamlessly. We found this company when searching for new flooring based on Google reviews so it seems only fitting to include our experience as well. We can say enough about Devon, Sharee, and Devon and what they did for us.Our sales rep Devon has the patience of Job. We are adding wood flooring to a home with wood trim and cabinetry that we dont want to change so flooring color is critical. Devon sat with us for over an hour as we pondered what really to do. We chose an option and then had a second guessing episode and he came back out to the house to make sure we had what we wanted (we did).Devon, (installer Devon), came to put new flooring on our stairs and upstairs hallway but when he pulled off the carpet we discovered real wood stairs in great condition. So after navigating what to do, we opted to keep the real wood, return the carpet, and he stayed to make sure everything was free of staples. He even stayed a little longer to talk through with my husband some thoughts on best practices for installing our floor.That brings us to Sharee. She worked with us to get the carpet piece returned even though it was an odd size. She adding additional wood flooring for the 2nd floor, and she has followed up consistently on delivery times because of the material back order due to COVID.I really didnt think there were companies that worked this hard at customer service anymore. I am thrilled to say they have restored my hope. Small businesses dont get enough credit for going above and beyond. This one definitely deserves it.

Other flooring companies took at least a day, some two days, to provide me with a quote. Sharee was quick to respond to any emails and kept me updated through the whole process! Erick and Sharee were great to work with. Erick came to the house twice before our bathroom tile install, once within a couple days of the call for measurements and shortly after with samples. They were very quick to respond to email or text. They we’re very conscious of our budget and helped us work within it rather than applying pressure to increase it. When it’s time for us to tackle our kitchen, I’ll be giving Erick and Sharee a call again.
