I purchased some used wheels for my car that needed hub-centric rings for a proper fit. Belle Tire used to carry them, but no longer does and Discount Tire was recommended. Kayla and Brad were very knowledgeable and were able to quickly find the correct rings for my application. I returned to Discount later in the day when I discovered that on of my wheels was mounted with a specialty lug bolt that required a special socket for removal. Brad knew what I needed right away and I was out the door in 5 minutes with the socket I needed. Awesome, friendly staff who know their stuff!

Quick service and friendly team at this place.I bought 4 tires from them about two years ago and it was cheaper than BellTire and Tire rack. They replaced it for me too.Today I took the car there for a air leak in one of tires and they fixed it at no charge within 30 min.

The service person was friendly, but I went in to get a quote on 4 tires. I got estimates from 13 different places. None of the stores had the right sizes in stock, but could get them in 3 to 5 days. This Discount Tire had estimated me a price that was 3 to 4 times higher than anywhere else in town. The place that did have the tires in stock was Mid West Tire, and at the best price I found.

Used to be a Belle Tire customer, not anymore. This place is seriously amazing! Id give it 10 stars if I could. Came with a small concern about one tire (ended up needing a reseal) was done in less than an hour and left without paying a dime. Excellent service. Next time I need to buy tires this is where I am going first.

I was vacationing from out of town. Had a flat tire that couldve ruined the trip, the Nascar pit crew inside had a new tire replacement within 20 minutes.

I had an issue during my appointment yesterday but David was superb at handling it. Some places really show lack of care when it comes to customers but when it came to my situation he handled it very well and made me feel very valued as an ongoing customer. He was very nice and empathetic to my frustration at the time and he took good care of it. Really made my day, a lot of people in customer service have been rude since this pandemic so it is a breathe of fresh air when you encounter someone who really cares about the customers just as much as their business. I will definitely continue supporting this Discount Tire location.

Quite a positive experience. Covid safe guards in place. Do make a booking. My tire rotation was free. They also have a small ad hoc full service air + safety check drive through. From appointment time to departure was 70 minutes, so pretty much as expected. No complaints. Will return.

I went in to this location (28th Street SE) to get my tires rotated and balanced and ask a question about possibly ordering wheels. I came in on a Saturday inquiring about a tiring that was leaking air not realizing they were in the process of closing. I worked with a guy named David and he noticed a screw in one of my tires. He said, “we have to take care of that right now so you don’t have an accident!” After a long work day he was the most enthusiastic and professional person to work with. I spoke also with other representatives and all had amazing enthusiasm, knowledge and were all amazing to talk to near the closing of their shift! 5/5 for this discount tire location. I’ll definitely be going back. Oh and to wrap it all up, because this was a safety concern the screw removal and tire rebalancing was free!

Great service, honest employees, and easy to access. This location is one of the busier area locations so an appointment is highly recommended. With Schulers bookstore right across the road waiting for the work to be done was easy. Coffee and water available in the waiting room. I knew nothing about tires and the employee I spoke with walked me through exactly what I needed to know, and saved me some money along the way. The warranty is great to have in your back pocket. My first experience with this store was outstanding.

In the midst of the Covid situation and being contactless, this location provided excellent service!I brought my Mustang in today for 4 new tires. They ordered exactly what I wanted and had me on my way in less than two hours!I tend to be extremely picky about who I let work on my car. Eli and the staff were wonderful and exceeded all my expectations. I will be a customer at this location for life!

This was my first visit to this store for a routine tire rotation appointment. I was checked in on time and was in and out very quickly. The service personnel were very helpful and professional. I highly recommend Discount Tire, having been a customer for many years. This store seemed a cut above others I have visited.

We were told that it would be a half an hour wait and we even called an hour and a half prior to coming in. When we arrived he asked if we were a walk-in or an appointment. I figured since we called an hour and a half prior that we would be considered an appointment at this point. Unfortunately after waiting an hour and a half they still had not touched our car yet. We were visiting from out of town and hadn’t even made it to our hotel yet. We were very hungry and exhausted. Then I watched them take a walk in and put her right in front of us. I don’t think the customer service representative outside knew that I could hear him but I heard him say that he would slide the lady right in. So he let the lady cut right in front of me. We were very upset and decided to take our business somewhere else. We left after two hours of waiting

Let me tell you what. Discount tire is the best. I had a completely flat tire this morning and had AAA tow it to the closest tire shop. I knew I wanted to take it to discount tire. When it was towed there, it wasnt until about 130pm until I got there. Right when I arrived, the car was already DONE. No waiting in line, no NOTHING. They had looked up my phone number earlier when I called and just serviced it. I paid $15 for a brand new replacement tire (I had the warranty which I highly recommend for EVERYONE). They replaced it even during the busiest time of the day. Great job Discount tire, you will forever have my tire services!

This is my second review Ive written for them, but I genuinely am so appreciative of their amazing service. Discount tire functions with such transparency and honesty, and they help problem solve with me instead of for me. Most importantly, their prices are outstanding. Today, I went in to get all new tires. The person who helped me, Brian S., told me I could reorder the ones I have on my car currently, but they would be around 1500. Then, he told me about a tire set they have in stock currently that is not only significantly cheaper (around 800), but the quality is really good too. Discount Tire on 28th truly goes above and beyond for their customers, and that is why I will ONLY go to them for any tire issues that arise with my car. Thank you!

Discount Tire. So much good advice and service. When I had snow tires put on this year, the service guy came out to show me I had an issue going on with a rim and one of the all season tires. Outstanding! He fixed the screw damage in the all season, and next spring Ill need a new rim. Its fine with the snowies, but I shouldnt be driving with the seasonal. Have been a favorite for years.

Michigan Roads can be tough. Anyone who has spent at least one winter here knows that to be true. When I hit a pot-hole earlier this year, dodging a deer on my commute to work, I sustained a nasty flat tire. Since I had worked with Discount Tire in the past and had good experiences, I had my Jeep towed to Discount Tire on 28th St. Jacob and Josef worked with me to get all four tires replaced, all wheel drive + wear & tear on the tires justified replacing all four tires. This was a professional recommendation they made to me explaining the potential circumstances of replacing only one tire on an all wheel drive vehicle with clear and measurable differences in tire tread depth. I never felt like I was being sold on something, which was an empowering feeling.During the service, Jacob & Josef noticed a bend in the wheel from hitting the pothole, notifying me immediately with a phone call and sending pictures of the bend right to my cell phone. This was fantastic as it provided me with an opportunity to ask about potential consequences of continuing to drive on a bent wheel, even though the tires had been replaced. Because of their courtesy, transparency and immediate communication, I was able to order and replace the wheel through discount tire a couple weeks later. Brian and Gary were fantastic in the 2nd part of my experience with discount tire and the replacement of that wheel. Overall a fantastic experience and I will be back to Discount Tire not just for their service expertise, but because their team members are courteous and professional. Well done, Jacob, Josef, Brian and Gary, youve earned your Discount Tire store a regular customer.

10-04-13: Wow, this is a very clean and friendly place. First time I walked in, I brought my Envoy with leak on tire. Within 1 hour it was fixed. The guys have excellent customer service, respectful and professional! James and Rob were at front desk, very knowledgeable too. Its a busy place, but they greet people with smiles, clean waiting area and seats are comfortable. I recommend it for your tire needs. :)

They put my winter tires (we purchased last winter) on in less than an hour and got me in early when arriving an hour before my appointment at no charge. The staff was very friendly and efficient.

I have been dealing with this company for over 20 years. bought a newer car over 1 year ago. it had new tires on it. i had to replace one of them about 3 months ago. one tire just got a nail in it... nail that couldnt be fixed. service guy told me all the tires were showing wear and should be replaced. Really?? Told them only one. they had to order it. called to set up time to go in. it took them over 15 minutes to answer. called to see if i could come early day of apt. they never answered the phone. i went early .. they had a line, phones ringing without being answered only 2 people at the desk. Bathroom out of soap. get more help and answer the phones.!! until now, i thought this was the best place. not happy i was told i need all new tires. as i sit here.... they are giving everyone breaks on the cost of tires...i have been here 20 years.... they would not give me one.

When I was in search for replacement tires for my car in December 2016, I searched various places including local auto dealers and tire shops. Discount Tire offered the best price for the exact same tire. So I went with Discount Tire. Im able to go for free air check (which by-the-way they offer free air check for all customers that bring their car), tire rotation, balancing, etc. They are always friendly and accommodating to your needs. I unexpectedly had to go to a Ohio location on the West side of Cleveland and received the same friendly service and help as my local. The only thing is their service is generally first come, first served so you will likely have to wait. When possible, they do take appointments. So, I recommend you plan ahead and either drop your car off and they let you know when its ready &/or schedule an appointment. I highly recommend Discount Tire.

These guys really saved me when I suddenly had two flat front tires for no obvious reason. I barely got my car to them by the time their website said that they should be closing, but the person who helped me said that it wasn’t a big deal at all and that they would probably still be working for quite some time. I left the car there overnight to try not to add on to the work they had to get done that night, and I got a call from them early the next day to tell me that my car was all set. I was headed out of town that night and would have to have my husband pick it up and wasn’t sure if he could be there before their closing time again. Once again I was told that it was no big deal and they would likely be there later than their advertised closing time. Because of the long hours and hard work that their staff is putting in, my husband and I were able to get this taken care of in one day, when (due to our schedules) it could have been drawn out in to taking a lot longer. We really appreciate all the help and extra time taken during what is already a very busy time of year for these guys.

If I could give this establishment a zero-star review, I would.Starting out with management... Gary is extremely disrespectful to customers, does not admit fault of their own, and has barely compensated any of their shoddy work and asinine sales tactics. The workers put my dad’s tire on the wrong way— yes, the wrong way. They managed to puncture his dashboard as well, and would not pay to fix. They also refused to fill up all four of my tires as one was “over ten years old” so they “couldn’t touch it without it being a safety or liability concern. Which if they had better sense, they wouldn’t have touched any of the tires... management is an absolute joke and disgrace, and should be fired ASAP

Terrible customer service experience - I ordered tires online and attempted to confirm a few details with a specialist at Discount Tire via phone on several occasions and no one ever answered by call. I then tried scheduling an appointment online but the website would not respond and no times were available. The website told me I should come in and be seen as a walk in. After waiting 25 minutes in line, I was told they could not get to my car that day nor had they even ordered the tires I purchased online. I was also insulted by a specialist when I expressed the frustration of taking time out of my day for them to tell me something that could have been communicated via phone. I cancelled my order and went to a much friendlier store. I highly recommend NOT working with these people or giving your business to this store.

They are certainly motivated to sell you either their tires or their tire “insurance”. I had a simple nail in the tire plug and fix request and they said they could not do it because it was in the side wall, even though it clearly was not. I had it fixed at a trusted local shop the next day for less than $20. Also, the same Discount Tire service rep quoted a replacement tire at $250. That is way more than their website quoted. I do think they have good deals on tires and do a good job, but their sales tactics are pretty shady.

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! Or drop your car off. I can’t emphasize that enough! You may have up to a 2-3 hour wait time in the lobby. I gave 3 stars instead of 5 due to the long wait time. I understand walk ins should have to wait however I felt that was not within a reasonable amount of time.

Went to Discount to ask about a problem with air pressure in my rear tires. Turns out the sensors were wrong and it was actually my front tires that were low. I was helped promptly and very efficiently and left in about 20 minutes with 4 perfectly happy tires.

This is the only place I go for tires. Pricing is fair, they do repairs for free, and they always make you feel like a valued customer. Ive used several different stores over the years, and the experience is the same every time.

Good place but very busy which means they must be good. They have lowest prices in town so i suggest you drop off your car.
