Excellent service! I had an issue with a 52” Sony Bravia. Problem fixed right away. Highly recommended!

For some reason my wide screen TV sound would not work when it was turned om this morning. I called my friend who is very good when working with electronics but he determined that I needed other help. I called the business where the TV was purchased and received a quote to determine the problem that was three times higher than I was quoted when I called Advanced TV Service. During the time between calling the repair service and their arrival, I had researched the cost of purchasing a new TV but that was going to cost over $1300. The repairman arrived within two hours and fixed the problem very professionally. I will definitely refer and continue to use Advanced TV Services that are located in Gastonia or Hickory. Great repair service whenever you need help.

Our tv screen cracked in 2020. I knew that the repair would cost more than a new tv. Well the new tv doesn’t have the same connectors needed for our son’s older model Wii and DVD player. Honestly I did not think anyone would have the parts or be able to fix this TV. Jay got the parts and replaced the screen in about a week. This seemed really fast to me. Very satisfied. The repair cost less than the new tv and adapters needed for older accessories

Unfortunately my old television was unable to be fix . So I had to purchase a new one. Jay mounted my new television for me bc they were unable to help me with the old one. I am very please with their services and will recommend them to friends

I called too ask about repairing a tv I had and the guy I talked to was very professional. We talked about the problem and he told me what I thought it would be the same price if not cheaper to just buy a new one there was no pressure for me to bring the tv in he knew the price right then didn’t have to call me back I would take my electrics there and would suggest anyone else to. I feel sorry to post this because I’m not this type of person but I’ve seen a lot a good reviews of this place but I’m Very disappointed! They just take $50 dollars in advance and they’ll take 1 or 2 weeks just to tell you that they can’t fix it or for them to fix it it would cost you more than $300 and you’re going to ended it up paying $50 dollars for nothing! Same thing happened to this lady that I meet at this place when I went to pick up my tv.

Had a tv I wasn’t so sure if it was worth sinking money into it. He had used working TVs and I actually just bought a working one and he gave me $50 for my broke tv and got a bigger screen and deal!

Took my sony Bravia here in gastonia location waited 5 business days to get a hes working on it now calls a hour later to tell me the board is bad thats all I got from the mumbled person on the other line my wife picks up the TV and asked them what was wrong with it and the guy said its a board the paper is taped to the TV last time I looked there was at least 2 boards back there I was excited at first from most good reviews only to be disappointed by the lack of communication and repair I will be taking my business and other electronics needing repairs some where else

My Samsung flat screen TV wasn’t working at all and I found this business on google. I was beyond pleased with the work done and customer service. The gentleman that I spoke with on the phone and in person, took the time to call me with updates and once my TV was fixed and ready to be picked up. Courteous service, affordable pricing and honest. Had a great experience at the Gastonia location. They did a component level repair of the power control board on my Sony 60” LED TV. I did not have to buy a new control board - which would have been very costly. TV is now back working in excellent condition. Jay and staff provided us with a great customer experience.

Excellent and very quick service! I had a large older TV that was in need of repair, but after speaking with Jay we determined that it was not cost effective to repair it. Within an hour or so, Jay came to my home to help me dispose of it. Great customer service - highly recommended!

This guy was very fast, kind and very very helpful. I went to UBREAKIFIX and didnt want to help. They wouldnt even help me take from my car to look at. The gentleman at Advanced TV helped me. Gentlemen was nice at first when we dropped our tv off, took wayyy longer than the one week to get any word on the tvs status. After giving up on getting it fixed we decided to get something to replace it. It looked promising at first getting a used one from them. Barley a week in, tv died and the 30 day that we were told just seemed like a joke. Lost our money and ended up having to throw the other tv away.

Outstanding customer service. My 5 year old LG plasma TV lost sound but the video was still functioning normally. I called Advanced TV repair and they made a home visit that afternoon. Jay listened to the issues and told me what was typically the problem in that specific model. Jay was very knowledgeable about how my specific model worked. Since the repair was a basic fix, Jay told me what I needed to do and saved me the cost of a new TV. Jay also followed up with me several weeks later to make sure the TV was still working normally. Advanced Tv Service had my TV for 7 days...never called me with a final price just went ahead and done the repairs without verifying if I could afford it. Argued with me the whole time I was asking him why would he do the repairs without confirming with me first. I could have bought a new TV with the $200 I paid him just to fix a HMDI port!!!! Maybe I was mistreated because im black who knows nowadays!!!! Do better Advanced we the customers keep them doors open and them lights running!!!

This is not a good place, but that only place that try to fix in this area. I took my 55 in cause something blow. I had insurance on the TV. Paid the $50. Up front that was asked for. I needed paper work filled out for the insurance company. But this guy said he couldnt fill them out thinking that it was a fraud. He kept my TV for a month in a half and still not work done.

Thanks for Your help today. Great repair shop walked in with TV and it was done within an hour. Cash only facility.

This Man is very rude! Called to see if he could repair my TV of course he said yes to bring it. So we did so. He fell to tell that it was gonna be a 50.00 deposit. Then still couldnt tell us what was wrong or couldnt even give us a estimate on how much it would have cost to be fixed if he did fix it. All we wanted was to see how much it would cost after being fixed so we didnt leave our tv and then not having the funds to get it back. What flew all over me is THIS MAN and WHATEVER WOMAN that was there was very, very rude with the ugliest customer service. And for example while standing in there they was charging a man over 500.00 because how many days they had his TV plus the part they did order didnt work. If we wanted to spend that much money we would buy a brand new one. All I know these people are very rude. And I would never recommend anyone to yall!!!!!!!!!!

It was the number on google and the person who answered said Adanved TV service but was obviously busy and didnt want to answer my questions. I stand by my review. Horrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and dont do business with these people.

I was told to go to this location from Matthews store as they were booked. Jay Bingham unloaded my 55 Vivio tv, troubleshot and told me he could do it in 45 minutes. He said go nextdoor to sonic or around the corner to Hickory Tavern and he would call me in 30 minutes. 1 beer and I get a call. This may not happen everyday, but I was lucky. My TV blacked out (power circuit board) watching football on Thanksgiving. Now Im watching Thursday night football. I did buy a new tv on Thanksgiving to replace it, but the price and time spent for repair were exceptional. Call the store and talk to Jay. You wont be disappointed! Highly recommend.

I dont see how they have received these negative reviews.This place went above and beyond for us . We had a 65 inch mitsubishi DLP television that we have made payments on for years at Aarons. Wel lwe finally get it paid off then the tv started to get a bunch of little white specks in the screen. Well we continued to watch the tv until we heard a loud bang then bam! no picture at all. I call all around and tried to ask questions and everywhere else but here was so rude saying its going to be between 1400 and 1900 to fix. I called this shop and asked the same questions and then set up a home visit for them to look at our tv. So Jay the technician arrived with another guy i cant remember his name and they spent a good hour and a half to two hours behind the tv checking it out. He then told me what the problem was but he didnt have the parts on his service truck to do the repair but he gave us an estimate and we said yes fix it. So he left and went back to the shop which is about 25 minutes away just to get my parts. He came right back to our house and He then spent another 2.5 hours on the tv and put it back together . We proceeded to turn it on them Bam! the picture was back!! with no more white specks either !. All of this including the parts,labor and the two visits only costed us 395$ take that you other repair shops !! I will ONLY recommend this place and no where else. MY TV WAS FIXED THE SAME DAY IN MY HOUSE!!! i didnt think people were still able to do that anymore but these guys proved me wrong . thanks again Jay and whoever the other guy was. YOU ROCK!!!!!!

This has been a nightmare experience for me. spoke with them on the phone and when I took my tv over there I was informed I would have to pay a $50.00 deposit and it has to be cash. I had to go to an atm just to drop off the tv. 2 weeks later after calling and not getting my calls returned I finally get Jay on the phone only to be hung up on. I call back several times to finally get him and Im told they cant fix it and cant get the parts. Please dont waste your time, I think this is just a scam to get the 50.00 fee and never do anything.

Absolutely horrible experience. Terrible customer service. Could not get them to answer the phone, return calls or provide any updates on my TV. They had it for a month and never did anything to it EXCEPT crack the rear case and bend the corner of the base. Finally just went and picked it up, the shop on New Hope road is crammed full of TV and it has a very very very strong odor of cat urine, Yes, cats are in the shop peeing on customers TVs. Will NEVER do business with again.

Had my tv fixed in 30 minutes. Called the Charlotte location and the referred me to this location, brought it in and TV was in and out in a half hour.
