I was happy to see the shelves were pretty well stocked. There were a few items out of stock but was able to find replacements for most. The store was clean and the check-out associate was very friendly.

Just realized that a pack of ground meat I purchased yesterday said use or freeze by 01/07/21! This is the first time Ididn’t check dates before purchasing as I was rushing and forgot. I bought 3 packs. Two of the packs had use or freeze by 11/07/21 and 11/12/21. I cooked all 3 packs together in a pan. Then I remembered I hadn’t checked the dates and pulled the packs from the top of the trash and saw that date of 01/07/21!!Some of the meat had already been eaten. I have tried for an hour to reach the store by phone and the only department that answered was the deli! The associate attempted to reach the manager for me but he or she has not returned my call.

This store was great but you will experience a different depending on which store you go to shop around

Great shopping experience. Shopping for ink cartridges for our printer. Found the cartridges but not for our printer. Asked salesman for help. He not only found what we needed he also explained how we could use a substitute! He was so knowledgeable and personable. You could tell he loved what he was doing, and we appreciated it. Good job Walmart Team!

This locations shelves are often empty of a variety of items unless you get there right after they stock it. If you ask the staff for help, they will often ditch you if they even acknowledge that you exist. I only come to this location if I have to.

I am not happy with this store at all! Every time I go there, employees are rude so I haven’t been in a awhile, BUT I order a baby shower cake for my daughter because I really enjoyed the cake I got for my other daughter last year. I ordered online and they take my payment only for an email the next morning saying my cake order was canceled!! I call the store and they tell that the bakery is closed and aren’t taking orders! The day before the baby shower! Now I have to jump through hoops to find another cake! Not happy! Will probably never shop here again!

Their shelves are never stocked and their lines are always super long. However, they are a better choice than Myrtle School rd location. I have started shopping more at Publix and Food Lion especially since the new Food Lion has come to Redbud!

You should hire a better customer service personnel in this store.Whoever is working there right now doesnt even answer the phone like seriously, just disconnect your telephone line or dont post your phone number on your website if you dont want people calling you or if you dont want to answer the phone. Find another job!I guess, walmart will.always be walmart. If you know.what I.mean.

They seriously should fix their air. Employees are saying its been that way for months and management doesnt care about it because they are sitting in their air conditioned rooms.If you complain they say well we called but I know how that goes. Those poor employees have to put up with that every day. Because just like any other company, they only care about bodies and how quickly they can replace you.

This place is unsafe. Just check with the Gaston Police Department on how many calls are made requesting their presence here. It is one of the hottest spots for the whole city. Homeless roam the parking lot and panhandle you as you try to walk in or out. Not recommended other than to close it down.

This Walmart store constantly has empty shelves that never seem to be restocked and normal items are kept behind cumbersome and annoying security shields. Even checking availability online is inaccurate and you leave disappointed.All of this makes for a frustrating shopping experience and makes me shop elsewhere.

What gets me about a couple of Walmarts in Gastonia NC is the u-scan registers majority of the times they have it set to where u can only use a credit card not fair if u have cash and dont want to wait in the long lines AND my problem yesterday which is more likely than not to happen is the money centers are never open but u can do the same transaction at the customer service center but theyll just have one person working that and the mile is a mile long so 🤷🏾

This store needs employees that actually wanna work.. my husband and I stood for 30 mins waiting for someone with a key to come unlock a glass panel.. we had customer service call someone over the loud speaker and asked two different employees to call someone .. no one showed up.. so we ended up leaving and goin to a different store because I have a bad back and it gets difficult for me to walk after standing for long periods of time... I rarely go to this Walmart.. and this is one of many reasons.

Small aisles leads to packed aisles. If you have more space for customers to move around then employees can stock shelves. All in all your employees are nice and you had all my items I came for in stock.

There was no carts inside for customers use. This was terrible shopping experience carrying everything in hands around the whole store. There were plenty of carts outside though, but workers were too scared of sprinkling rain to go gather those.

Needed something from garden center. Parked close to entrance since the gate was unlocked. No one at check-out. Had to walk across store. Should have the gate locked if no one is working there.

Was able to find most of the things I was there for.

It’s ridiculous to come to this store and nobody can help you simply get cosmetics because they are under lock and key and nobody comes when they are called. Never a good experience at this store.

Its a good place to shop, of course all walmarts are a great place to get deals.

If you’re going to apply and work here apply for any position other than a cashier. They will try and trick you to work as a cashier because they need more cashiers but fail to tell you that you will be working till closing every. single. night. While the pay rate is 11 an hr. McDonald’s start you off at more now and even sams club cashiers get paid 15. Also some of the management team are very unreliable. Blame associates for situations, don’t care about associates safety by failing to mention the harassment assault and theft associates face because of customers. If you work here as a young adult is teenager make sure you make this job a temporary gig because this job will have a big toll on your mental health and not in a positive way!

For a super center I was a bit disappointed by the layout. Still better prices then anywhere else. I was in and out in no time, with no wait in line.

Terrible place they are rude here! Don’t recommend, the cashier wouldnt sell me a towel because it had no tag, when i ask if she can call someone she rudely said theres noone oh well and rolled her eyes. I wish i caught her name. She was a karen. It took a black woman to help me.

Nate was very helpful and proactive in helping me get items that were missing from my Grocery Pickup order. He is an asset to Walmart and exceeded my expectations.

Cherryville Walmart is not quite as big as other Walmarts but stocked and staffed well. Never to crowded. Good customer service

Just go to the Walmart in Belmont, NC. This location is a joke! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE, even grocery orders. They always find some way to mess it up or just not complete the order, ever.

I was in the store this morning, I needed one item from a cabinet that was locked. I was right beside the pharmacy and after pushing the button for help, I asked them to call someone to unlock the cabinet for me. I waited another 10 mins found someone else who said they couldn’t help. This employee informed me, if I called the store no one would answer to help anyways. Then I asked the greeter to call for someone to help, she told me to ask the pharmacist and I explained I had 15 minutes prior. I had to go find other employees and it took about 25 mins fir me to get my item.

They have the best barbecue wings and tater wedges 🎈❤️

Wish this Walmart would stop changing everything around makes it hard to find anything anymore . and please put the movies where theyre priced on the right spot. By putting things in chaos doesnt make us,want to shop any longer or buy more really!

Nothing much to complain about except the most horrible parking lot. But I dont think its Walmarts fault.

Store is rarely the cleanest. Only about a third (or less) of the employees are actually helpful (will stop to help you). There are rarely enough checkout lanes open. They rely on their self checkout. They are often out of a ton of stuff at odd times (like someone went in and bought them out).

The crime rate here is up really high. There have been so many kid nappings reported on the news. My kids are not aloud to come in here because I don’t feel safe with them in there. I recommend you never come here unless it is an absolute emergency.

Very upset with the store on 3000 east Franklin Blvd gastonia nc. This is the second time. I was shopping for awhile and then went to check out. After I paid for the stuff a guy walk right in front of me and asked for the receipt. He didnt wait for me to hand him it. He ripped it out of my hands and started talking really loud saying I stolen and needed to fellow him. Imbursement I started walking out hoping nobody heard when he followed and shouted he was getting the cops. Turning red and head down I had to walk faster hoping nobody again saw. I had just spent $60.00 in that store. And because of their behavior I lost money and my stuff and was so emotional wrecked.

One of the biggest retail giant with everything on board. Got a good collection for women bags,kids,electronics. good one for a wholesome shopping not for the people who wants to go in for a quick shipping with them they have got good offers and what to say I have got a good deal during black friday sale. Staffs are awesome they are very helpful.

This is the local Walmart. They always have things stocked in a tidy way. There are always people at the door to greet you & they even thank you for wearing a mask. Weve always recurved excellent customer service & things seem to be very clean. They sanitize carts regularly & rarely have carts sitting outside waiting to come back in.

Evening out @ Wal-Mart doing some 🎃Halloween 🎃 shopping🛍 for the 👧 👧 👦! I like this Wal-Mart pretty good except they carry literally NO BANGS 😥 Love my Bang Energy drink with super creatine coq10 etc. Overall good layout easy to find everything!

Just did delivery for the first time from this Walmart and we never received our groceries. Contacted customer service and they had no way to contact the driver. They had no security in place to ensure that drivers are delivering accurately. Our groceries not being delivered did not seem important to the person... she acted as if it normal for this to happen! She offered to refund our money but it would not show up in our account in 5 business days. Tried to call the store and no answer. I guess someone will be enjoying $140.00 worth of groceries. Meanwhile, no one has followed up...

This used to be my favorite Wal-Mart and now I can barely find anything in stock. Its absurd. Today, they were not selling any gift cards, for any retailer not just Wal-Mart, at all and its nearly Christmas. Poor management altogether.

Return was refused at Gastonia nc store had to drive 50 miles to charlotte nc store of purchase to return product valued at less than 17 dollars

I only do curbside shopping due to pandemic. I have been very satisfied with the good work that everyone is doing. Anthony, David, and all the other people, whos names I cant remember, just do an excellent job in the parking lot. They give good customer service even during difficult circumstances.

Thing with Walmart stores in general is their stock is unreliable. They might have what I need. They might not. And if they dont, it could be weeks, months, or never until they have it again. No complaints about this particular store. The employees are nice enough.

I dont know what happens at this walmart in particular but it is ALWAYS wrecked when I go. And if you have to use the bathroom while there, good luck! I went to take my daughter and ALL the stalls were filthy and had blood on the floor. I dont know if its an employee issue or the animals they allow inside but my God! Do better people.

Poor customer service from the managers. Couldnt get any help in sporting goods waited over a hour. when we tried to approach a manager they walked away and went to a place customers arent allowed we had to take our business somewhere else. Do not recommend going to this store

They never have anything I go in for always low on stock and the employees are always. They never ask if you need help, and most of them time I see then just standing around in big groups talking to each other. If you do ask them for help they act like its the biggest inconvenience to them. Also of they are stocking or facing an isle and you need to get by they get mad at you for not going around.

Today there were very few customers. There wasnt a lot of people stalking the shelves like normal. And they actually had some good sales. I found some long sleeve undershirts for a dollar a piece! Pretty cool.

Always only 2 checkout lanes open with long lines for both of them. Plenty of self checkout lanes open though. Walmart trying to make their customers work for free. Already having to bag our own groceries, I wont do it all for free. Lousy conglomerate that doesnt care about people.

Had what I was looking for at a great price

If I could have gave 0 stars I would have. ordered online, and when I went to pick it up, the site said my order was pending return, & I had been given a refund. I hadnt picked it up yet or cancelled my order. I went to Customer service & they told me to go to the pickup area and ask them. I did & was told she didnt know what happened to my order, she went to Customer service, came back, and said it had been cancelled because I hadnt picked it up yet. I ordered about 5am on Sunday, & was at store on Thursday. She said that after 4 days, if its not picked up, its cancelled. I said today is the 4th day. She asked what time I placed order, & when I said about 5am, she said then its past 4 days. So I asked what happened to my items. She went to the back to look, came back, & said it had been put back out into the store. She never once offered to help me find it. Ive never heard of the 4 day exactly to the hour & minute rule. Thats crazy. Ill have to be awfully desperate to place anymore orders on WalMart.com Im certain I wont ever be that desperate.

This is an older Walmart. Its not as bright and welcoming as newer locations. The carts are located between the entry and exit doors, which I find odd. Everyday items may not be readily stocked. Overall, it is a typical Walmart. Sundays are super busy.

20 years and Ive never had a bad experience at this Walmart the associates are always great they obviously have good management and the store and the restrooms are immaculate, looking forward to 20 more years
