It was an awesome experience, I needed new glasses and Im a veteran. The staff were accommodating and made it happen for me. I was also given a veterans discount. Which was cool we veterans need all the help we can get.

Every Staff Representative was very professional and took amble time with us. I was impress with the array of merchandise and prices we had to chose from. I was out eating on Friday, and decided it was time for some Safety glasses that I didnt have to take off to read at work. I was impressed with the ones they had. I also picked up a pair of readers for home, there was a little snafu with the machine in Gastonia, but the next day they were ready. Im impressed, Ill tell all my friends about Eyemart Express.

Took a while to get started because the place was super busy. But after selecting my frames and providing my prescription, both pairs of glasses were done in under an hour. They even provide military discounts.

I was a first time customer. Saw the add for 2 pair of glasses for $76 for progressives. I thought it would be the typical scam where the frames included were limited and hideous. However, I walked in and was shown a good selection of $19.99 frames that were available. The frames I selected looked much like Ray-ban wayfarers. In 58 minutes both my regular and sunglasses ($15 extra) were ready for pickup.Great glasses and a great experience. Warby Parker sold me my last pair and I thought that was a good experience. This place is head and shoulders above Warby Parker.I worked with an great associate, Rick, who didn’t try to upsell me when I told him I only wanted the $76 deal I had seen on TV. In other similar stores, you can get the cold shoulder when asking for the advertised offer.Well done!

Walked in on a Saturday qith my 7 year olds prescription, were told someone qould help.us shortly.Firat was helped by a gentleman who started showing frames to my son, then was helped by a young lady (Jessica) ,who immediately asked the price range, and style he was looking for. They became friends , and she was over and above anyone I had experienced before. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. My son walked out with two pairs of glasses, a smile and new friends. I had taken my 10 year old granddaughter to Vision Center for an eye exam and new glasses. After the exam, we discovered that insurance would not cover new glasses for another 2 months. She had broken her last pair, school is starting in 3 weeks, and she has a pretty strong prescription. The technician at Vision Center recommended we go to EyeMart Express. This place is fabulous! They have a large selection of frames ranging from $20 to greater than $200 for designer named frames. She spent close to an hour trying on frames (remember, she’s a 10 year old girl🙂) and picked out a really cute $40 pair. The woman who was helping us then told her she could pick a 2nd frame (($20) for only $10 more! She ended up with 2 pairs of single vision glasses, scratch coat on the lenses, and a year warranty on the frames for less than $72. The last pair we bought at the optometrist’s office were $380 after insurance! I would recommend EyeMart Express to anyone needing prescription glasses and/or sunglasses. Another bonus…both pairs of glasses were ready in less than an hour! No waiting up to a week and having to make another appointment for fitting and pick up. Great experience from start to finish.

Granted I have a fairly simple prescription, glasses in 13 minutes. Absolutely wonderful, humorous, clean and positive staff! Will be back. Awesome selection from $20 & up!

The wife and I visited here recently and had a wonderful experience.Jessica and the staff did a great job of helping us pick out multiple pairs of glasses and dealt with the hassle of us using multiple insurance companies and splitting the payments up multiple ways. Their patience, knowledge and composure made the shopping process easy. Jessicas explanation of all available upgrades and their value to us as the customer did not seem forceful or as a blatant upsell to make more money.I was impressed as they had 4 pairs of eyeglasses ready for us within an hour. Most places are 4 days to a week+ wait, in my personal experiences.Prices are very competitive when compared to most of the competition. It seemed like they had slightly more womens choices than mens but they had a decent variety and I had no trouble finding something I liked and that my insurance covered, thanks to Jessica!I will need some adjustments in the future, which I was told are free, and will definitely be returning to rehab some old frames with new lenses. Lastly, for those concerned, they sanitize every surface, isolated and sanitized every pair of glasses touched and obey all (typical) CDC procedures to keep the store clean and the guests safe. Overall, an excellent experience for my first visit to the store.

I found a coupon on their own Website.I mention the coupon when I filled the info for the appointment today I stop over there and I found out they dont honor the coupon even when is coming from their website and had the name of Gastonia location address and phone number. False advertiser is the less that I can said about this place.

Not very knowledgeable. Had to go back and add my bifocals to my lenses after the insurance already paid for the glasses. So that was 114.00 out of pocket I had to pay. Glasses warp after a few weeks. Wouldnt recommend

I would check no stars if possible. This would have been ok experience until I was harassed for 3 days over a $5 error made by the person who assisted me with my eyeglass purchase. They called and said their drawer was short and I needed to make up the difference over the phone. I paid what I was told and quoted. So I returned to the store to return the glasses for a full refund after one of their male associates told me to relax when I did nothing but ask for Jessica (GM) and the other male tried to make me leave the store when I asked repeatedly for a refund and my debit card which they held for over 13 minutes. It wouldn’t be a bad place if they had decent people working there. Since the store admitted fault the store should have been willing to accept the loss instead of losing a larger sell. Over $5 really? Yes, really. I could have paid it but Jessica and crew ruined that from the moment I entered the store. Refund returned and will never patronize again.

Tried going to a few other walk in eye exam and glasses locations without much luck. Called and was able to get an appointment within two hours. Staff was friendly, and my glasses were ready about an hour later and two pairs for less than other places for one without insurance. Highly recommended!
