Just awful service. Ordered a single box of bulbs in the morning by phone, showed up 5 hours later at the warehouse (in order to give time for pulling my order). Turns out my box was not in stock and they told me to call my sales rep. Sales rep makes an exchange over the phone to order a dozen singles which are in stock, telling me it should be 15-20 minutes to bring them out. An hour later, nothing still. Won’t let me in to speak with a manager.

Will call is slow. No customer help at all. Had to call four times for my order and still couldnt get any help. I ordered thru will call cause it was over a week and they still didnt have my order when the lady said it would be ready in will call the day before. I give this place negative three stars.

The red and green bulbs were a great addition to our patio lights for the Christmas holidays. We really enjoyed being able to see Christmas lights in our back yard from our den. 1000Bulbs is very convenient for me. We live less than 30 minutes away and can pick up our orders the same day.

Rather slow shipping and not much communication. LED tubes do not work in one fixture, which may not be a problem of the bulbs. Still, I dont think Id order here again.

When I buy here, I explain my needs and they make recommendations which are always good. They dont push the highest priced items either. They offer pros & cons and let me decide. I just recently placed two very substantial orders with the company. When I received the packages I discovered that one of the products was not as described on their web site. To their credit they did refund me the money. (By the way, the other products work great.) I am giving them 3 stars versus 5 stars for what I consider to be poor customer service. I had emailed the company twice to inform them that their web site contained a wrong product description. In that same email I also asked why my product review (which stated the same thing) had not been approved. I never received a response to either email. It leaves me to wonder if they ever publish any negative reviews of their products. When I reviewed another product in glowing terms that review was immediately published. Naturally I can only surmise that their web site product reviews are a bit slanted. In the case of the problem product -- it did not have any reviews. So now I am thinking that perhaps others had written reviews about the incorrect description of the product but these reviews were never approved for public view. The company has a lot of variety to choose from, it processes orders and ships them in a timely manner, but it lacks in customer service. And I wouldnt place a lot of weight on their product reviews because it looks like anything completely negative isnt going to be approved.

Wow! Needed 6 bulbs and everywhere we looked would have been well over $20 plus shipping. Found 1800 bulbs and was able to do local free pickup and was ready after 4 hours. My total was $11!! I buy lighting equipment from them for my business in Houston. Their prices are great, they answer the phone, and they will ship same-day if you order in the morning. The shipping is very fast, I typically get it overnight even though I only asked for basic ground shipping. These guys are my go-to for this stuff, better than anything Ive found in Houston

Maybe the gold standard of online light bulb sales websites. Lots of selection and good pricing with plenty of helpful information. But it should really be considered a USA only company. Trying to buy and get bulbs delivered into Canada becomes both expensive and cumbersome.

Bulbs were cheap and shipping was prompt. However, we bought 8 Edison style LED bulbs and one stopped working one week later. They want to charge $10 for shipping a replacement which basically makes the overall cost of the order more than if we bought elsewhere. I see no advantage to order here. If you do, plan on receiving at least one defective bulb and order extra ahead of time and figure out if the added cost is worth it.
