I scream for ice cream! Puro is a pretty in pink ice cream (and more) factory. Hubs checked Google for ice cream near us and found this spot. We have lived in Fort Lauderdale for almost 25 years and have our go-to places. We wanted to give Puro a try. There is plenty of parking and we went in and it was not busy. One other group of people (it was a Thursday) so we were able to check the place out. There is plenty of seating as well. Welcoming atmosphereThe flavors were plenty lots of latin flavored ice cream and non-dairy options. Hubs got brownie ice cream in a cup and I got coffee ice cream in a waffle cone. The texture of the ice cream is smooth and delicious. There were many good choices including popsicles which is one of their specialties. Overall, Puro is a great option if you are looking for more exotic options for a cold sweet dessert.

Staff is always very nice and hospitable. During COVID-19 they were following CDC regulations for businesses and kept the ice cream safe from contamination. They are very clean and the environment is very positive. They have patience with children too! I definitely would recommend this location for a family friendly and amazing tasting homemade ice cream. And a plus is that they are bilingual too! Se Habla Español !

MUST TRY the Mangonada- it is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy! They make all of their own ice cream and have good customer service, plus the shop itself is cute. Worth the drive from Miami!

I had such a great experience and a pleasant time there. My husband loved the coconut ice cream and we enjoyed a specialty sandwich that was delicious. The staff at this place is so nice and welcoming that we are returning soon.

This ice cream it’s more than good, the dairy free lime ice cream reminded me of some childhood memories, and the staff working there made the experience better, also the place is beautiful. I live almost 30 minutes from there, but for sure I’ll be back, it’ll be worth it)

The flavors are good and not overpriced. I ordered 2 milkshakes I asked for them very thick. They werent. I like the ice cream here but wont order a milkshake here again.

First, the parking can deter you from experiencing this Fort Lauderdale treasure. But once you park, the fresh choices are the real treat. Definitely get an edible cone with a singe flavor to enjoy, so you have reason to go back and try the other fresh creations.Sit inside cool air conditioning or eat your cone outside on the complimentary chairs for a real FL weather experience.

Although it’s really good ice cream the wait time is extremely long. (And it was only me and my husband) two girls and they’re working on the same thing. Very disappointed because I’ve been here before and the usual lady doesn’t take as long and keep in mind she’s only one. Don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.

This is my new favorite ice cream shop! I wish I lived closer to it than Michigan... but I may have to find an excuse to come to Ft. Lauderdale for this ice cream!On entering the shop, we were greeted by extremely friendly and welcoming people with huge smiles, clearly enjoying what they were doing. They told us we were welcome to sample any flavors and that they had other flavors in the back room that had just been made, but hadnt been brought out yet (they had just opened)!The shop is meticulously clean and neat. There are funny little decorations, benches with pillows, and tables/chairs. Its an enjoyable space!Having to choose 3 flavors for my order was the hardest thing I did today because it was like Sophies Choice. I loved them all! I chose Peanut Butter, Ferrero, and Oreo. The flavors were incredible! The texture was so smooth and creamy, but it somehow still felt light! There was no heavy, overly richness to it! It was perfect! When I finished, I seriously contemplated getting more!If youre looking for delicious ice cream, look no further. Favorite neighborhood ice parlor. Staff is always super friendly which only adds to how delicious their dessert selection is. Everythings made from scratch and its absolutely mouthwatering no matter which flavor you get. The rum raisin mixed with rice pudding is my favorite!

The owners seem very nice--hence the extra star-- and I hate to leave a negative review, but maybe this will help them turn things around. The ice cream just wasnt good. Cookies & cream had a weird, fruity, almost chemical taste, grandmothers chocolate also strange and artificial, the waffle cones were thin and stale, there was a hair in the blueberry ice cream -- we ended up throwing away 4 ice creams--unheard of in this family. They also tacked on a $2 tip without telling us or showing us a receipt. Anyone can have a bad day--especially during quarantine-- but taken altogether--it was disappointing.

My children and I loved the ice cream. Great customer service and taste. I will highly recommend this location.

Its not the cheap stuff, they make the majority (all of it?) themselves which makes for some really fantastic flavors and exceptional mouth feel, if youre into that. Honestly, worth the hassle of trying to find it...and make sure you bring a cooler so you can capitalize on their buy-4-get-1-free deal on homemade Popsicles!

I are currently sitting at this beautiful ice cream parlor which I was told is about 8 months in this strip mall off of Peters Rd/Davie Blvd. My son is having a double scoop ice (chocolate chip and cotton candy) on a meduum size chocolate wafer cone. The young lady behind the counter was professional, courteous and had a very very nice demeanor. I topped her, this was at my discretion. You can do this when you pay at the counter using the terminal payment confirmation to add tip on the screen with your credit card.i would highly recommend this place as it is a gem of an ice cream parlor to visit.w Will definitely come back with family again!

We were wanting ice cream to celebrate the long weekend, but didn’t plan our timing well. We called Puro about 5 minutes before they were to close and the young man running the store offered to stay late, to wait for us to arrive. How courteous and kind is that?! Seriously can’t find that service in fast paced south Florida anywhere. And on top of that, the ice cream was delicious!

Clean inside, not to cold, friendly staff, easy to find. The only issue I may have is pricing. But its really not that bad. I got two small cup two scoop ice creams with a smoothie for $18. Thats not bad, I like the place.

Fabulous ice cream! Rich and creamy mouth feel, and the flavors were amazing. Three different chocolate choices: Hershey, Ferrer (Rocher), and Abuelito (Granny). The variety of fruit flavors was huge. If youre in the area, its worth a visit!

Great place almost always empty. The ice cream is pure and fresh. You can also get popsicles that are also amazing. This is a great ice cream place and it is a little pricey it is still worth it for the great dessert.

Puro has the second best ice cream in South Florida and a comfy little place to set in I havent tried everything but I definitely suggest you give their banana ice cream a try they have so many different frozen treat some even on the healthy side
