I Love the Ice cream but my god you guys have to work on your customer service, it’s horrible. You come in there and no one says goodnight just “Do you know what you want?” Make people feel welcomed to come and spend money in your establishment. Everyone in there have a attitude except one person. That’s not a good look and by the reviews that I see I’m not the only person who thinks that.

I can’t speak to the customer service as I have not had the opportunity to go into the store. (My order was delivered). I will say this. The Grape Nut ice cream is just what the doc ordered. One spoonful and I felt like I was back at Devon House again. Sometimes you need a pick-me-up to remind you of the good times. This did it for me.Update: went in for the first time today and the service was excellent.

Went in to get ice cream. Requested cotton candy. I noticed it had chocolate chips in it and told her I didn’t want chocolate or any ice cream that had chocolate in it. I proceeded to ask her what flavors didn’t have chocolate in them. I put in a new order for bubble gum flavored ice cream.Long story short, she charged me for the cotton candy ice cream I told her I didn’t want and the waffle cone she put it in, plus an additional scoop of ice cream.When I brought it to her attention, she told me she wasn’t refunding me the money because she had to make the cone even though I didn’t want it. Safe to say it was my first and last time supporting this establishment. Horrible customer service.

This place doesnt accept credit card? But they accept cash app? These are signs of a business failing or on the path to failure. Then when I go in they tell me I need to wear a mask. this is my second time coming to this place. I always felt uncomfortable at this location. they messed up there merchant account so they cant accept credit cards sheesh. the owner here always pushes liberal politics on his customers. Great customer service. The ladies allowed me to sample and I’m not normally comfortable asking for samples, but they were so great about it. I bought the East Indian Mango and the rummy rum nut ice cream and because they were so delicious. I also sample Dash strawberry rum nut and the mango sorbet. Everything very flavorful. I wish I could not give a star but I have to to be able to write a reviews. They need to put people in the store that know whats the purpose of customers. I walk in the store on SaturdayJune 25th 2021 because I heard the ice cream is good . There was 3 people there no one behind counter so I ask whos working and one lady gave me a look then got on her phone and the other lady told a teenager to go serve me and the teenager started grumbling asking why so I took my business across the street to the ice cream store where I was treated like a customer. I will not put my foot back in that unprofessional non customer service place call Jaxs.. #unprofessional

This place lacks customer service. First time visitng this establishment and wont be back. The lady working behind the counter kept her back towards us for at least 2 mins and did not greet us at all. When she finally did she had an attitude and seemed as if we were bothering her. Disappointing as we wanted to enjoy and try the different flavors offered.

The ice cream here is delicious. What this business lacks is customer service. Many of the flavors on the menu arent available. The young lady behind the counter didnt seem like she wanted to be there. If youre familiar with Devon House ice cream, you can appreciate the ice cream served here. Its 2021 and this business doesnt accept credit cards.

I give the low rating because lately every time i go they never have the flavors that i like (island pound cake and red velvet). they’ve always been popular but it’s never been an out of stock item for a week - two. not really crazy about the new flavors they have. the worst part about it is you can’t even call before taking the drive over there because no one ever answers the phone! i called from my car while sitting in front of the store, not one single customer inside, and the phone just rang. the girl didn’t get up from the table she was sitting at. while very frustrating, the ice cream is good. they just really need to go back to how they used to. i thought the ice cream was made in house but from how the girl acted it seems like it gets shipped.

It was the Caribbean part that got my attention as Im half Trinidadian. The icecream was good however the customer service was NOT! First time there ever and I came with friends from out of town, she didnt give any suggestions on what to try, had her face screwed up the whole time when I asked questions and I had to confirm with her twice the Cashapp payment went thru after I pressed send right in front of her the first time. I get it, Im a business owner myself and sometimes we may have our days but had she apologized to make up for it I wouldnt have left this review. I will say the icecream was good for the price but that attitude please yall have to do better especially when we are supporting our own kind. Because let it had been any one else that was not our color the tone would have been so much different to impress them more. I might try them again idk yet.. thats a hard MIGHT!

First of all let me say the customer service was excellent! I purchased 4 different flavors today 3 out of the 4 flavors were on point! The pound cake flavor tasted really icy. I was most disappointed with the selection of flavors. There were so many interesting flavors on the website that were not in the store. 3 out of 5 stars for now. But I will give this location a second try.

I love their butter pecan and grape nut ice creams! I had been craving butter pecan so I bought some from the grocery store.... Ugh! Doesnt compare! Best butter pecan ice cream around! Just like the kind I remember as a kid! Deeee-lish!😋😋

Eating a rum cream scoop as I type this review. Man oh man this is so good! Excellent service, great selection and price!

I am very disappointed. I just left this location and I asked for a ice cream cone. The lady who served me pile so much ice cream even on the side of the cone then handed me a cup. The cone eventually broke like a minute after coming out the store so I went back in and showed her so that she could make another. She handed me a cone and told me she is not making me another ice cream cone even though I brought her the broken ice cream in the cup. The customer service of these people has to be better.

The Ice Cream is great but the customer service is terrible. You are served with an Attitude. To make matters worse they are charging customers for standard debit card transactions. They notify you as soon as you walk in the store. You are met with a condescending sign the ends with Reading is Fundamental .

I tried the guineas ice cream, it was more icy than creamy and smooth. I did get the bottom of the bucket. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. My mom had rum and raisin and she enjoyed it.

I am soooooo happy that we finally have an ice cream shop nearby that serves flavors from the Caribbean. So far Ive tried East Indian Mango, Kingston Red Velvet, Bun n Cheese, and Egg Nog! They tasted so good! I would be even more thrilled if they would start serving kola champagne ice cream! Havent had that in 20 years!! There was an ice cream shop in the Lauderdale Lakes area that used to serve it, but had closed down a long time ago. Please consider serving this flavor, Localicious!!! 🙏🏾😫

Service is important. I went in the store for the first and only time tonight. Several of the flavors were empty and the back work space was a mess. The server did not pay any attention that there were at least 9 of us in the store when the sign on the door states there is a 4 person limit. I watched and waited for her to serve 2 people in front of me for over 15 minutes. I didnt move to choose what I wanted trying to maintain some sense of distance and she skipped me to serve the person behind me. I asked her about that and she still finished his transaction before mine. I was already standing there for 10 minutes before he walked in. There was a line of 5 more people outside when I left. I understand being out of flavors. Its hot and a Friday night. But, service matters. It was my first visit. She literally gave me 30 seconds to look in the cooler before she skipped me. If people have to wait in line they wait. Skipping customers is rude and a disregard for their time.EDIT: I am editing to make this 3 stars instead of 1 because the ice cream was amazing. Great product but I hate bad service. I will try one more time before I try the other location.

Had never been here until last week but so glad we tried it! Had no idea this was so close to where we lived. The ice cream was incredible and the shop was super cute inside. There were probably more than 20 flavors and even vegan options.Will definitely be going back!

I went to the lauderhill location due to all the hype on social media. They had a variety of flavors and the ice cream was good. However, when I entered into the establishment I seen one of the servers didnt have a mask on while serving patrons but yet all the customers that were in there had theirs on. I had asked the young lady if she had a mask before serving me and as she got the mask out of her pocket she was muttering something to her colleague. I love to support black owned business and in return I will like to be dealt with with manners and respect with a smile on the face as we are all helping each other out. I would like to try another location hoping to get better service.

The most unique & delish ice cream flavors in Florida. But every time I drive up there from Miami I have to wait over 30 mins to get a taste. Every time (yes every time) There is only one person on staff (God bless her) and that leads to a lot of people walking away upset over the long wait time! They’re missing out on so much business because of that and I’m getting pretty fed up. The quality of your business operations should match the quality of your ice cream!
