We had a kitchen remake by Frugal several years ago, but this review isnt about that.We began to see some wearing away of the paint around many drawer and cabinet door handles several years after completion. My husband was sure Frugal would never help us because of the amount of time lapsed.What a nice surprise when I called Frugal! They quickly came and took the doors and drawer fronts that we were having problems with and returned and installed them. Now, our kitchen looks great.

Last year we had a MAJOR kitchen renovation. (total gut and we redid electrical and some plumbing) We had been saving and preparing for this renovation for over a year so we wanted to be sure we hired the RIGHT company for the job! The Frugal Cabinets team listened to our hopes and dreams for our kitchen and executed it BEAUTIFULLY!!! They stayed ON schedule and within our budget! We are SO happy with our new kitchen!

As we moved into a fixer upper home in PTC, we decided to tackle the kitchen first . After researching online and mouth to mouth recommendations, we visited frugal kitchens show room, discussed details with a designer and had an estimate within a day. We scheduled the job, and after 5 business days of professional and on time workers changing the whole kitchen, we have the beautiful, updated, fresh funtional kitchen we wanted!Friendly customer service, great countertop options and well done job.

Update 1/23/18: My sales rep called me to apologize and assure me I will receive quality work from there on out. I have not however received an apology from the owner of the company. Installation begins today so we will see how this goes. Will post another updateTHIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD CONDUCTING BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY! They got half of their money upfront and then completely dropped the ball after that. The owner of the company is the rudest man I have ever done business with .He cut me off and yelled at me over the phone. My sales rep takes a week everytime to call me back. Once you pay them you will have to hunt them down for anything to be accomplished! I am so disgusted with the service I have received. I WANT AN APOLOGY FROM (DOUG) THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY.

Jun 5, 2017 update - this is an update to my previous post. My wife and I met with a representative from Frugal Kitchens on Saturday June 3rd. This was a much better experience and the representative fulfilled the commitments that were made while we were in their showroom. He informed us that we would have our initial estimate before he left on Saturday June 3rd he kept that commitment. I had some additional questions about the estimate and send him a text asking could I speak with him on Monday June 5th. He reached back to me immediately and offered to discuss this with me on Saturday evening well after 6 p.m. Based upon this experience theyre fulfilling of the commitments made and the estimate that was provided my wife and I have had a 180-degree turn around and now have been satisfied and pleased with our experience in meeting with representatives from Frugal kitchens.Review Update June 3, 2017 decided.to follow up to find.out why we.never heard back found original designer we met with is no longer with Frugal. Gave them a second.chance, met with different designer today, still did not leave with an estimate but have been promised to receive the estimate today, will update once we receive an estimate for the job. Better experience than the first meeting.Original post May 6 2017 At this point our experience has been.less than satisfactory. We contacted Frugal kitchens by doing reviews on the web and watching the Trust Dale information. My wife and I met with a representative from Frugal kitchens in their showroom approximately two weeks ago on April 22nd. To date we have not yet even received an estimate for the work that we have requested. We are looking at a total kitchen remodel and I would think that an organization would at least present their proposal to allow potential customers to make a decision. My wife followed up with the representative over a week ago and was informed that we would get a our estimate that day. Today is Saturday May 6th and we have yet to hear back from anyone from Frugal kitchens. We would have no issues waiting 2 weeks for the estimate had that been communicated up front but we were told we would receive the estimate by Monday, April 24th. I hope that someone in management takes a look at this review and takes the appropriate steps to ensure that potential customers are treated a bit more attentively. I hope that someone chooses to get back with my wife or me so that we can make a decision.
