I had granite counter tops installed in my kitchen as well as both bathrooms in my condo. Richard Johnson and his staff were all very helpful and professional in making this happen in a timely manner at a fair price. They arranged everything from tearing out the old counter tops to having the installers for the new tops and the plumbers scheduled. Everyone was very professional and the counter tops all turned out beautiful. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have any work done. Without a doubt they are the best around.

Bottom line, dont waste your time or your money here. They are the most unprofessional, non customer-oriented business I have ever dealt with. We have used them on 2 projects and admittedly, the first one which was having a bathroom counter and sinks installed went pretty well. Based on that we decided to use them for a second project and have regretted it ever since. We should have known we were in for trouble when the owner, Richard Johnson, showed up for an estimate on the 2nd project to install a tile shower/reno the area around our tub and spent all of five minutes in our house. He acted like everything would be easy and wasnt a big deal. From there, and of course, once they had our money for the job, it was a string of scheduling problems, workers not showing up on time, not being told the truth about all our materials arriving before work started causing workers to leave early, and an overall lack of compassion or communication from the company. When they finished the project they left gouges and holes in the drywall, marks on the paint, waterproofing on the wall that wasnt covered by tile above our tub and didnt replace the trim they ripped out during demolition of the old shower. When I complained, he sent someone out who basically put some putty on the holes, skimmed the wall with some plaster over the waterproofing, and stuck up trim with no caulk or paint. The walls and trim were freshly painted and in perfect condition when they began the project. This worker said he would come back to finish what he started but that turned out to be false. He never returned and left our bathroom as shown in the pictures. After another call, Mr. Johnson told me he never said that worker would be back and that we didnt tell him we wanted the drywall, etc fixed upon completion of the renovations when we started the project. As if thats not implied in a bathroom renovation. He then told me that he could fix it but I would have to pay him more for that. I have since had to hire another contractor to clean up their messes at my own expense. I wish I could say that was all our problems with Creative Stone but it was only the beginning. During delivery of materials their driver drove a truck into my house damaging the flashing, shingles, and gutter above my garage. Yes, they drove their unprofessional spray-paint tagged truck into my house. That was on June 21st. It is now the 23rd of September and Creative Stone has still not finished getting those repairs complete. We have called and emailed countless times to no avail. It took Mr. Johnson over 60 days to even show up and measure to have the gutters replaced and they are now blaming another contractor and COVID related supply issues for the delays at day 91. Creative Stone will never say they are at fault and accept responsibility for anything. Definitely would never recommend to anyone.

Only giving a 1 because I cant go lower. never came when scheduled, had to reschedule 3 times. had to miss days of extra day of work because of this. they wanted to charge me more for the job I already paid and sign a contract for. Every time, I would call they would say someone will get ahold of you, which never happened. Always had to call them to see whats going on. It felt like I had to babysit them to get the job done that I paid for. My sink has been unusable for there days. I would not recommend to someone unless you like to miss work and babysit grown adults to get the job done and for them to try and charge more because they cant do there job right. They lost a customer that need more than one job done. Looking for recommendations if anyone has a good place to go for other jobs that need to get done, please.

Excellent work by everyone! I am VERY pleased with everything in my kitchen. From the beginning, Tammy was excellent helping me make my choices and explaining all of the details. She was very knowledgeable about the entire process. Crystal also did a great job setting up appointments with all of the different installers. All of the persons working inside my home (measuring, installing countertops, installing backsplash and plumbing) were always right on time and cleaned everything when they left.

I had my kitchen counters and backsplash done. I love the results. Staff and installation crew were awesome. I will be going back for the rest of my bathrooms in the house.

I WILL NEVER, EVER use or RECOMMEND Creative Stone to anyone, and I will broadcast their unprofessionalism! Oh they know how to woo you in at the front desk, but their integrity is absent!. They promised one date for the install, but that was a week late, and caused me to have to push back my event! They were 2-3 hours late on the day of the install and did not even text or call,. Their EXCUSE was that they are so busy they cant keep up with the calls! Really, ?? Isnt that why you are in BUSINESS?? My granite was installed 2 weeks ago and they were supposed to come out and fix an area on Friday, September 3rd between 1 and 3, of course it was a NO SHOW. They call me at 4:30 to say they are on the way! Really??? I call them at 3:00 wondering where they were? My farmhouse sink had a big GAP in it, and the installers solution was to use silicone! I spent close to 11,000 dollars so I expect quality work and professionalism from start to finish! THE PROBLEM IS THAT CREATIVE STONE IS NO LONGER HUNGRY, SO YOUR SERVICE HAS GONE OUT THE WINDOW, AND YOU HAVE LOST YOUR INTEGRITY! NEVER, NEVER, AGAIN. So Sad!

Ive used more than one granite company in Fayetteville and Creative Stone is hands down the best. They have a great selection, great prices, and they do exceptional work. I had one kitchen with uneven walls and they cut the granite to fit exactly against the wall. You could tell that the wall was uneven. Wow, that describes the incredible change in my kitchen after the installation of new counter tops and tile backsplash. Crystal did a wonderful job in assisting us in choosing our design and coordinating the installation process. From the measuring of my kitchen to the final step of the installation of the microwave everything was great. The granite installation crew, the plumber and electrician were awesome and special thanks to the tile/backsplash installers for their patience and amazing job. I also want to recognize the customer service representatives in the office for their help and quick response to my questions during the installation. They took us outside showed The different grades and qualities so we can make an informed choice of what we really wanted. Purchased countertops through Lowes and found out after the fact that materials were on back order for the foreseeable future. Turned out to be over three months. Abysmal communication from this company throughout. Installers were supposed to arrive between 2 & 6 pm earlier this week and did not show or call. Did not hear from them until after 7 pm and they were planning to show up at 8pm to do a couple of hours of work. Apparently the office staff was responsible for communicating this? Didnt happen. Rescheduled for yesterday between 2 & 5pm and, again, didnt hear from them until 5:15 and didnt show until after 6. No complaints with the actual work done, but will not work with them again.In response to your reply: Yes, I was informed of the back order… after the purchase, as I previously stated.Your company scheduled the initial install without consulting me, so yes, I did have to reschedule it since no one was able to be there.Again, as I previously stated, no one called to let me know there was a delay until over an hour after they end of the arrival window. And your office did not call me… the installers did. They assumed I was already aware because, they states, the office is responsible for this. Beginning an install at 8pm is also unacceptable with young kids who need to sleep, so yes, I did decline the install that night.Seems like your response is in agreement with my concerns, so thank you. Lowe’s subcontracted this company to install countertops and a sink in my home. The crew arrived 5 hours late (with no notice), dented a custom ordered sink (and didn’t bother to mention it) and failed to properly install bar supports. Additionally, they left trash sitting in my front yard and driveway. Unprofessional and careless.

Creative Stone was contracted through my Lowe’s granite countertop order. Initially, they called and communicated very effectively. However, upon installation, there were only two men who had to carry several very heavy sections of granite into my home. In the process, they damaged one corner cabinet by taking an entire chunk of wood and paint off, and they damaged my dishwasher door with a large dent and chipped corner. My cabinets had just been sanded and repainted two weeks prior. Truthfully, I wasn’t too upset because I had faith it would be repaired with the help of creative stone. Wrong. They took NO responsibility whatsoever because it was contracted with Lowe’s. They let Lowe’s absorb it. They never returned my calls or emails to discuss the matter. They are unprofessional, and I would steer clear of someone who assumes no responsibility. I had several photos for proof. Look elsewhere!**In response to your response, I did reach out to Creative Stone. I e-mailed, called, and left a voicemail. There was no response. I also have photos (before and after) for proof of damage. This is your first acknowledgment regarding this situation. You previously earned 2 stars from me because I do love my granite countertop surface, but I updated that to 1 star because of continued unprofessionalism.

The gentlemen actually showed up early and were beyond polite! I have not EVER had that happen with any sort of project. I was waiting for the we need to reschedule phone call which did not happen. I am pleased and still smiling. I definitely recommend.

I needed to replace a butcher block cutting board and decided to do it with a cut of granite. Long story short it took them 6 weeks to do what was originally quoted to take a week. I had to go back about 8 times because they never called when they said they would and gave wrong information about the process. The final straw was when I gave them the butcher block to match sizes and they cut it too large. 2nd final straw is when they charged me for the larger size that they cut incorrectly. Nice enough to talk to when face to face but as soon as you walk out they will forget all about you until you come back face to face again. When I remodel my kitchen, upgrading to all granite countertops I will not be using this company.

So I have an 11 am appointment to pick stone and sinks, staff totally confused about assisting with the appointment after waiting more than 20 minutes and being ignored . Not sure if this is standard or if I will continue with this company

My wife and I just had granite countertops installed in our kitchen. The sales team was very helpful in getting the remodel started. But with any construction job you have to expect problems. Our started with the granite not matching in color when the installers showed up. I talked to Beth and she immediately started to work on solving the problem. The fabrication shop cut a new piece that night and the next day we tried again. But unfortunately the color was too far off. My wife and I thought for sure that they where gonna just stick it to us and we would be unhappy with our purchase. To our surprise Beth and the owner told us that that particular granite was not uniform enough to install correctly and to come down and choose another granite and they would make it right for us. Besides a few hiccups we now have beautiful countertops. I’ve lived in Fayetteville many years and really thought this would be a very ugly outcome but to my surprise I was wrong. Again Beth the Owner and Creative Stone Team I commend you for your professionalism in workmanship.

Everything about dealing with this company has been a disaster. The initial timeline from deposit to completion was 10-14 days , it’s day 39 and the job is still not done. They had to make 3 trips out to measure and install bath vanity and kitchen countertops; all three times were a no show and they don’t even have the courtesy to call and let me know they aren’t coming. Will not be referring or using there services ever again!

We contacted Creative Stone to install new kitchen tile and backsplash, also to refinish existing wood flooring, and add new wood floor for our home that we are trying to put on the market to sell. The whole process, from the estimate, to the instillation was easy and fairly quick. The workers were in and out of our house in a very timely manner, with only one small issue that was resolved. You can tell that the owner, Richard, takes pride in what he does and how he wants his company represented, and we appreciated his visit after the job was done. Overall, we were very pleased with the work that was done, and the price, and would highly recommend them, and we even plan on using them again in the future.

We called CS and Richard came and went over some options. We were sold on his presonna and had our kitchen/ dining area remodeled. His crew came in and removed 19 year old wall paper, installed Brazillian black counter tops, back splash and installed LVP flooring, installed recessed lighting and a light over the sink and the look is night and day. Im so pleased that the kitchen / dining area is my new favorite part of the house. I definitely recommend Creative Stone for all remodeling needs.

Do not recommend using Creative Stone. My hubby and I have spent numerous hours waiting on workers to show up and nothing, not even a call. When you call the office they act as if they dont know someone didnt show up. When you mention something being wrong you got to hear how many kitchens they do a week....I am only concerned about my kitchen. And yes the owner is rude. I am not happy with my install especially the granite wall. Spend your cash else where.

When my wife and I began our trek to locate new granite counters here in the Fayetteville area, we went to every granite provider in the area and compared prices. Almost all were able to perform the job in the same time frame. The difference between the others besides the best price is that Creative Stone sent out a team to laser measure the job, which took about 20 minutes. Most of the others were going to use a template (that I seen at one company which was made out of cardboard). One of the short listed firms wanted us to go to Raleigh to pick out our stone, another didnt keep stones and would shop around for the stone. So after considering all the factors, we decided to go back and see Ester at Creative Stone on Raeford Rd. Not only did they have the stone available, they were able to complete the job sooner than expected and the best part, the cost was the best value. So, save yourself some time and just go to Creative Stone on Raeford Rd, you wont go wrong.

I am very happy with my stone. They were very patient with me. I bought my stone but was not ready for the stone to be installed and they held it for me for a long while until I was ready.They installed it perfectly and I can’t stop staring at it lol. I would use them again for sureLisa

I recently used Fayetteville Granite to do a small project in my bathroom. I worked with Crystal who was very patient and helpful as I picked out my granite for my countertop. Although it was a small piece of granite she gave me her time and attention as if I had bought so much more. They did an excellent job installing it and I look forward to working with them soon on a much larger project. Thanks to all for a great job.

Creative Stone is a first rate operation and recommended by this reviewer. An extensive variety of granite is displayed at their Raeford Road site. Assistance was provided courteously, professionally, and patiently throughout our selection and planning process. The granite installers, plumbers, and tile contractors arrived as scheduled, and were professional throughout the install process. Our project was a kitchen and master bath renovation.

We recently had counter tops installed, backsplash and crown molding. They were extremely professional and did an outstanding job. We are extremely satisfied with their service and product.

Customer is always wrong with this business. We purchased our granite countertops in August of 2019. Immediately after installation, we were left with a 2 gap and unfinished framing where the old countertop had been removed. I also had an extra seam in the bar I was not happy with. The owner of the company acted like I should know these things would happen with a standard install. After much persistence, the framing was repaired and I have had to learn to live with the seam. Now, 5 months later my granite has darkened significantly. Once again, they are blaming me. I was told I must have either used chemicals on the countertop or it was exposure to microscopic air particles from the stovetop vent. I have NOT used chemicals on my countertop. We have had granite countertops in our last 4 houses and we have never had an issue with them changing color. They are only 5 months old. Even though I was given a 1 year warranty, they are refusing to clean and reseal the granite. Basically, they are doing NOTHING (because its our fault) Strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your granite. FYI, if you go to a big box hardware store, ask who they contract for materials and installation. We were told they often use Creative Stone.

Wanted a specific quartz for a buffet top that Creative Stone carries. They didnt have a remnant piece (which would have been cheaper) and I was told I would have to pay for an entire slab just to get the small piece I needed. I went with a different piece, signed the contract, arranged a date for installation and took time off from work to be there. I was also promised that the warehouse foreman would send me pictures of different pieces from which I could pick what I wanted. I never received those pictures even after calling the office twice to remind them. The night before installation, I still hadnt received the pictures, so I called the office. I was informed that their machines were down and it would be another 3 weeks before they would install. No one had called me to let me know this and I would have been waiting the next day with no one showing up, even after taking work off. I was annoyed and told the office representative to cancel the order and refund my deposit. I was told that it was not their policy to refund deposits. A few days later I spoke with the owner, Richard Johnson, who informed me that my deposit would not be refunded because I signed a contract. I reminded him that both parties have an obligation in a contract and that Creative Stone had not fulfilled theirs because they were not going to make the promised date of installation and had not given me the courtesy of letting me know. His response was that the installation date was not in the contract, therefore they were not obligated. He was rude and even hung up on me! I was astonished!! Creative Stone had not spent any time or materials on my order and the owner was refusing to give me any of my deposit back. This is stealing. I ordered the buffet top from Olive Glass and Marble, was able to get the stone I wanted without paying for an entire slab and received it within a week. This company knows customer service! I will steer anyone looking for stone work away from Creative Stone.

Very very poor service!!!! They was supposed to install my mother’s countertops on the 25th of October and did not start the project until the 18th November. They to her they installed in mobile houses and after they sent to adjusters out to give her a price, the price change ($1100.00) after time of installation cause they said her counters had to be reinforced to hold the granite countertops. Once all that was done they returned to install her countertops on Monday the 18th of November only to bring the wrong sink, countertops cut for the wrong sink, her previous countertops already taken out and now saying they can’t return until Thursday November the 21th. Three days with a ripped apart kitchen. Again very very very poor service

Was looking to get new Granite counters for my kitchen, bathrooms, and office. When doing my research I didnt realize that Fayetteville Granite and Creative Stone are the same company. Years ago I purchased countertops from a gentleman named Ben at Fayetteville Granite and had a great experience. However, recently went in to Fayetteville Granite and the office was nasty, they were understaffed, and not very knowledgeable. They continued to tell me they are remodeling and to please excuse the mess. Just one year prior I went in and they told me the same thing.Mr. Johnson,I dont have to be a customer or purchase from a store to leave a review. I walked in to the establishment to view the selections. The employees were incompetent and children at best. The showroom was filthy and scattered. These are just some of the several reasons why we chose not to go with this company.

I have provided services to many satisfied customers .Anyone that has purchased services through Fayetteville Granite knows that what you are saying is ludicrous. The girls in our office are the friendliest and some of the kindness girls I know.Good luck to you with the next company you seek services from.

Absolutely do not use these people. I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased quartz countertops through Lowes and the quartz and installation was done by Creative stone. I payed thousands of dollars on a kitchen remodel and when they installed the countertops one of my lower cabinets was torn away from the wall. It’s very visible and looks terrible as I have an open concept kitchen and this is the first cabinet you see. When I contacted them about it I was told that they could come out and remove the countertops so that I could have the cabinet repaired and then they would replace the countertops but I would have to pay for it all. So, they can come in and destroy your property but claim no responsibility for it. It’s pathetic.
