My wife went to get the check engine light checked, headlight bulb replaced - we have the replacement bulb in the glove box - and wiper blades replace.They suggested she replace both headlights, when all she wanted was the bulb replaced...then wanted to charge her $200.00 to replace the windshield wipers.After my wifes visit and another friend of hers who was told her transmission needed to be replaced...when in actuality it was just low on fluid, Im not going to sit idly by and let my wife or any other women get taken to the cleaners.

When I go to Christian Brothers they ask me every time if they can keep my car and do it tomorrow because theyre constantly behind. I have one day off in the week so this never works for me; meaning I have to drop my car off for a full day and then come back and do it again the next week to fix one problem. When I went last they took two days over the span of two weeks to fix a leak in my car and then still left the car disassembled when I picked it up. The one thing they do well consistently is the shuttle service. Theyre really nice but niceties dont fix my car.

Great mechanic work combined with what I call courting the customer. I like the peaceful waiting room, and nice coffee, and the bottle of water in the car was the cherry on top. I brought my 2015 Nissan Versa in to get an estimate for repairs when my vehicle was making scraping noises on right turns and humming loudly / vibrating when driving (especially on the highway). When I called in ahead of time, they said it would be a level 1 test and inspection and should cost around $65 for the estimate. They had a free shuttle service, which was very convenient, so I brought my car in. They were very polite and friendly. They asked if I also wanted a courtesy inspection, and I said yes.Unfortunately, the initial estimate was around $4,000, because it included routine maintenance (the car is almost to the 100k mark) like a tune-up, spark plugs, oil change, air filter change, serpentine belt, flushing fluids, etc. The estimate also recommended replacing all struts, shocks, wheel bearings, and brake rotors/pads on the vehicle. After explaining how many of these items were not urgent, the estimate was reconfigured to cost just under $2000 to replace all the wheel bearings on the vehicle. In the notes from the inspection, I found Rear struts are leaking hydraulic fluid and front shock struts are making excessive noise on turns and bumps, need to test drive and confirm struts are source of noise after replacing bearings for noise isolation. So I wasnt convinced paying nearly $2k to replace all wheel bearings, but not the struts would even solve the issue. They did warn me that not replacing the bearings right away meant the car could seize up while Im driving it, which would be very dangerous. They were also initially going to charge me over $120 for the estimate (a level 2 test and inspection), but did only charge me $75 (the cost of the level 1 test after tax) when I brought up I was initially told it would be a level 1 test.I was concerned that instead of diagnosing the problem (what I paid $75 for), they were intending to just replace all parts that could be possibly be associated with the problem. So I picked up my vehicle (their shuttle service both ways was very convenient!), paid the $75, and brought it to University Auto in Fayetteville (on a friends recommendation). I dropped my car off at 7:30am and University Auto had diagnosed the problem with an estimate by 11am. $637 to remove and replace the wheel bearing hub assembly (one side only) and to replace the pads and rotor for the front disc brakes. It was done within one day and is working great!Although the service at Christian Brothers Automotive was friendly, the free shuttle incredibly convenient, and I appreciated all the videos and pictures they included in the inspection report of the vehicle, in the end I wasnt confident they were accurately diagnosing the problem that needed to be solved or that they were charging reasonable prices, which is ultimately the value Im looking for.

I scheduled an appointment with Christian brothers automotive and expected to get my car fixed within the next day. I took my car that morning before work at 7:00 a.m. to get fixed when I went back after work at 4:00 p.m. my car had not been touched. They told me to come back the next day and they would look at my car, so I did. After they looked at my car I had tried asking them what the pricing would be and the man at the front desk was unsure so I tried calling back and he told me he would contact me, several times they never did. When I would call them and ask them about the car and what they would suggest they would tell me something different each time. They didnt update me at all. One day I had called and they told me I needed a new engine, I had called the next day and they said if I changed the oil pump it could fix the problem with the car for years to come potentially. The oil pump is cheaper so of course that solution was best.The next day they claim they cant fix oil pumps and the refuse to service me unless I want to buy an engine. They wasted my time, because if I would have known that they would refuse service or could not fix oil pumps I would have clearly taken my service elsewhere. I spent this whole week keeping in contact with them and payed them $60 to look at my car. I would NOT recommend Christian Brothers Automotive,I hope this review helps someone decide a better Auto body shop for yourselves. Just trying to save people from wasting their time and hard earned money!

Originally I had left a one star rating with fairly choice wording but after having done that the owner reached out to explain the situation further from their perspective and changed my mind. I went in knowing there were problems and had them do their level 2 diagnostics and they came back to me with 3 issues. One being the brakes that I went ahead and had done. Regarding that actual service, I have no issues and was completed in a speedy and satisfactory manner. Where our miscommunication occurred and what caused the original poor review was the other two issues. I had held off at first due to my financial ability at the time but called back inquiring about the severity, knowing I had to make a 300 mile road trip the upcoming week. The technician I spoke with gave me the impression the issues were fairly severe and needed to be addressed particularly before a drive like that. What he was meaning to portray was more along the lines of, this is a liability issue that I cannot sign off on being totally safe for a drive like that but not an immediate issue that will 100% cause problems if said drive is done. My suggestion would be to be as hands on as your own car knowledge allows or have them explain to you as in depth as you will understand (which they do make particularly easy) as to not have a problem like this. The drive was 100x more stressful than it needed to be and my frustration was amplified after going to a trusted shop of mine who came back and told me the other two problems were not a big deal and fixed them for free when I was planning to pay Christian Brothers $1400. This is a shop looking to be proactive about problems and not have you come back as often if not needed to, so they will want to do as much as they can. MAKE SURE you are VERY clear if you goal is to fix what is absolutely necessary and for the lowest cost because if not they will assume that you are on the same wave length as them. Do I think they are a tiny bit over priced? Sure. Do I think they were trying to screw me over the way I did before speaking with the owner? No. If you’re someone who really cares about your car, keeping as close of an eye on it as possible as far as upkeep, and willing to pay slightly higher rates for a speedy, clean shop with a taxi system, this is your place. If you are trying to keep your car as maintained as you can afford with a shop you can 100% trust you’re not overpaying for, this maybe isn’t the place for you.

Every single one of their staff was absolutely amazing. They literally saved me and my daughter’s life on our road trip home, by finding what was making the car vibrate! (A wheel with only one lug nut holding it on) I cannot begin to thank them enough, and would very highly recommend them to anyone living anywhere close!

My family was taking a family camping trip in the Arkansas area when i must have driven over something causing steering issues. Obviously I was extremely concerned with my entire family in the car and also not knowing the area mechanic shops I was nervous about our trip being ruined. I was completely relieved to find a Christian Brothers in the area, since we exclusively use the one back home. We ended up damaging some front end components, they were able to identify the problem, gets the parts, and fix the job all in the same day. They shuttled us to their local mall while we waited, called us throughout the repair to keep us in the loop, and then came and picked us up too. They told us about the nationwide warranty that I can use back home. I felt the price was a more than reasonable for the customer service, value of the shuttle, and peace of mind the warranty gives me. Thank you

I was quoted 300 dollars to fix my ABS sensor over the phone, I agreed to this, and dropped the car off with them. After they told me my car was done, I came to pick it up at the shop. They told me it was going to be over 600 dollars. They tried to tell me that they told me over the phone about inspection fees, they didnt. They proceeded to lie to me and try to defend themselves. I knew what was wrong with the car before I took it in there, I told them what needed to be fixed, but they still tried to charge me for their inspection. Complete ripoff and waste of money. If you value good, honest work, dont waste your time with these people.

I do not know a lot about cars and thought I had a major problem with my car however turned out it was only a small problem, but they offered me exceptional service anyways and did not even charge me due to it only being a minor issue. I work in one of the buildings located behind Christian Brothers Automotive in Fayetteville. My car would not start one day so I called CB due to the close proximity. One of the employees WALKED over to my car and tested the battery. My battery was dead, but he was able to get it charged enough to drive back to the shop. He drove it there, replaced the battery and drove it back to me. AMAZING service! I will be using them in the future!

My son, who is at the University of Arkansas, took his car in for inspection last week. He sent me the results this morning. The report that I saw set new standards for professionalism and generosity. It included a complete set of photos and descriptions of areas of concern and they didnt charge him a penny! I was able to see the issues remotely and get a better idea of what is going on. Ill say it again: this is, in my experience, a new standard of professionalism and generosity!

The owner was professional and polite. Lent his ear when I was describing my issues and also acknowledged that I was at least familiar with cars and their potential issues. He also called about a couple of things such as my oil and check engine light to see if I also wanted them to tackle those problems so I was fully satisfied with their services. I already knew about these issues and it wasn’t necessary those were fixed but the fact that he checked with me was thoughtful and respectful. My car was done quickly and the work was top notch. The car runs great and I would definitely recommend to anyone who has issues with their vehicle to consider Christian Brothers before any other shops around. They are courteous and knowledgeable and you will not be disappointed.

I had an excellent experience at Christian Brothers Automotive. I had gone to them for an alignment after purchasing new tires for my car a few months back. I found them to be very professional, respectful, and efficient. They aligned my tires properly but not long after I noticed my car pulling to the right when I accelerated. I took my car back to them and they examined it again at no cost to me. They asked me several questions in an effort to understand the problem and find the solution, and discovered on examining the situation that the tire company had installed one tire that was different than the other 3! When my car was completed they were a little late in coming to pick me up to get my car, so rather than picking me up in the company shuttle vehicle and taking me back to the shop to get my car, they just drove my car to me and waited for someone from their company to come and pick them up. They even put some gas in my car as an apology for being late! I will definitely keep them in mind for my future auto repair needs!

Yesterday my car had a very low tire. I made it to the nearest Automotive Business... Christian Brothers Automotive. A technician was happy to immediately put air in my tire, of which he discovered a nail in the tire. To my surprise & joy they offer FREE TIRE REPAIRS. They kept my car & gave me a ride home, per their FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE. Not long after, they picked me up & I got my car back, with a repaired tire & a complete Auto-Inspection, where they found additional repairs/services needed, & gave me a full diagnostic report, with an estimate. This new business offers a friendly professional atmosphere, timely service, engaging technicians, text updates, diagnostic & service reports, reasonable estimates, shuttle service, quality repairs & exceptional customer service!! My truck wouldnt start in a nearby parking lot. The owner was gracious enough to personally walk over and help me get it jumped so I could drive it over to the shop. Then he got a tech to replace the battery and on top of that cut me a deal on the labor. All this 20min before closing time. Needless to say I was incredibly thankful.

WOW !!! IS WHAT COMES TO MY MIND FIRST. THE PROFESSIONALISM IS BAR NONE. Tifanni at the front is super knowledgeable about automobiles and she has an amazing team of qualified and certified technicians backing here up everyday. They just finished working on a customers 08 BENTLEY with a front end alignment and noticed a bad right front tire and they were able in source a new tire and get it all taken care of for me. I would say they are the complete package at CHRISTIAN BROTHERS OF FAYETTEVILLE.

There are several Christian Brothers shops around town at home and they have a good reputation, so I stopped in to Mr. Crists place just a few minutes before closing, not hoping for much. He paid one of his guys to stay a little late and got it done right away, and was super friendly about it. I couldnt have asked for better service. Highly recommended.

I am happy to give my first ever google review to Christian Brothers Automotive! They are aways very kind and accommodating! For my most recent visit, I had originally made my appointment for the beginning of the morning, because I wasn’t sure if I was working that day. When I found out I was off, CBA was really cool about letting me push that appointment back to the afternoon. For my first visit, I had concerns about my alignment and asked them check it along when they did my oil change. When I came back to pick up my car and asked how bad my alignment was, they told me it wasn’t anything major and they had gone ahead and done the adjustment for me free of charge! So instead of spending in the neighborhood of $180, I just had to pay for my oil change! Both times I’ve visited, the manager has spoken with me directly to make sure I understood everything that was going on with my car and had a clear idea of my options of service! I typically try to give my business to local “mom & pop” type shops when I can, but after visiting a few other local shops that made blatant attempts to take advantage of me and rip me off (probably because I’m a college-aged woman), I have no issue giving all of my future business to Christian Brothers!

I went to have my oil changed and will NEVER go anywhere else absolutely greatest experience I have ever had was able to drop my car off go to work and pick it up after words no questions (besides car related) asked just amazing people and I would reccomend them to anyone and everyone who wants a job completed right the first time!

A repair shop experience unlike any other. They were professional and friendly. My problem turned out to be tires so I had to go elsewhere and they didnt charge me anything to inspect the vehicle and determine this. When my car does need service I will definitely be back!

These guys are absolutely wonderful! From the first phone call with Nate, who took the time to explain how things worked from start to finish, made a very stressful situation so much easier! Andrew was so sweet and thoughtful when I realized I left my other keys on the counter, he got them and after he got off work he brought them to me at my home!! I called Christian Brothers today after meeting a person in the community that desperately needed to get their car up and running. I explained to them on the phone that it was a bit of a complicated situation that needed to be resolved quickly, and they stepped right in. The folks at Christian Brothers not only called to arrange the tow truck but they were extremely generous with their time and helping with the parts. I could not be a bigger fan of this business. They are leaders in our community and they go above and beyond to help those who need it!

Great Group of people that wants to earn your business through their skills and honest business. They provide great services like their shuttle to and from. I have known the owner for many years as an Engineer Manager and President of a Tier 1 automotive OEM serving the greater Detroit auto manufacturers engines plants across the USA.

I scheduled to have my oil changed on my only day off. CB was right on time in servicing my vehicle. They checked all of my fluid levels and even put air in my tires for the cold weather. They made me aware of a leak that could begin happening I. The future around my oil pan bit did not pressure me to fix it. They stated that they were there when I was ready. I told them to schedule it with my next oil change.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. I am 48 years old and this is the best customer service that I have witnessed in any industry. Rob and his team went over and above anything I could have wanted while trying to determine my brake problem. I can not recommend these guys and gals enough. I brought my Chevy Colorado in for oil change. They checked it out for me, giving me proof with pictures. Service was top notch!! Soft, nice music, beverages, and quick service rounded out the experience, I thought. Then today, (the day after) I get a phone call checking with me to make sure all went well. I am definitely sold!! It is definitely worth the drive from Siloam Springs. Thank you fo peace of mind.
