Im always decently impressed by Natural Grocers. But coming from an area as rich and diverse with organic grocery stores as Eugene Oregon, it just kinda feels like a Whole Foods to me. And you know what? Theres absolutely nothing wrong with that (certainly we need stores like this in general) - mostly clean food at about the same cost as other natural stores. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

I am so excited I found this place! I have a really restrictive diet for heart health, and it is always so hard to find things I can eat. Here it was so easy to find alternatives to ultra-processed foods. I am still in awe that there exists a breakfast granola that is gluten, dairy, and sugar free and still tastes good!

I really enjoy shopping here. It has a vibe it is hometown and urban at the same time. Not too big, just a comfy fit. They offer many organic and natural groceries and all of the produce is Organic. The people who work here are very helpful and friendly. Another thing I really appreciate about this place is that employees get holidays OFF! Having worked retail in a previous life I truly love when a company shows compassion for its employees!

Ive been shopping here for years and love this place . Prices on my supplements are good, I always find what I needed.

I used to love shopping here, good deals on eggs and organic produce. The staff used to be so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, lately Ive had consistently bad experiences for months. More often employees have been rude and waiting in long lines while other employees wander like theres nothing to do. Also more often lately Ive seen rotting produce. They used to bag up older produce and sell it for a couple dollars. Now they leave it until its gross and still try to sell it. Who is in charge? And why have they let this happen?

Has some good vegan foods you cant get elsewhere

One of the workers was grumpy(the person had just gone on lunch break), but we didnt know that at that moment. Just felt that was not polite, so unnecessary. They are still representing that company(Natural Grocers), break or not. That experience was not nice. Otherwise, other workers were very helpful and nice!

Great place to shop here in town

Bought a loaf of bread literally molded in a day....they dont want to do anything about it because it was on mark down....manager asks if she wants me to have them throw it away...yes throw away the product i just gave you money forthanksto lose a loyal.customer who spends (way too much money here) over a 2.25 loaf of bread oh well their lossluckily Eugene has enough local organic stores....I will not be returning...just the push i needed to support my local community storessucks liked the store til this experience

I absolutely love this place. if you like organic and healthy food this is the place to shop me and my girlfriend had a question the lady who helped us answer the question was amazing at helping us at the natural medicine side of the store we had a great experience there.

Natural Grocers is my favorite grocery store! Not only are their prices the best on organic and healthy items and supplements, they choose high quality, fair trade, humane items to carry in their stores so I trust their products and feel assurance when I shop there that my buying power has been used wisely to support ethical companies. Their staff are always so kind, helpful, and friendly. It feels like Im shopping in a small community or neighborhood store where everyone knows everyone and will bend over backwards to help. And their store is always clean and spotless. I feel good about supporting Natural Grocers and doing most of my shopping here!

We love this store! Cheapest organic eggs around and a selection of goods you wont find at the other stores in town.

Harass and discriminate against me and my family..violating laws and rights..absolutely disgusting! Extremely disappointed in natural grocers! They will not allow you in yet they charge you an outrageous service fee and delivery charge to order from app. Im done with this tyrannical business! TYRANNY!!

Surprisingly well-priced for as yuppie as they look, and there are some things I can only reliably get here. Definitely my go-to place for bulk spices, and I like that they are meaningfully community-conscious and seem to take good care of their staff.

Aria, not sure if I spelled her name correctly or not, was extremely rude she told me to put my face mask on when I had just barely pulled it down for two seconds and she said this to me as she was 2 feet away therefore breaking the 6 foot rule. Very unprofessional could’ve been very kind about it especially since I only had my mask off for a split II as I was trying to adjust it.

This was the first and last time i will ever go to that store. Not because it is a bad store but my experiance was not good. I went there and i saw some persemon and ti me they where all the same and they where not seporated but had 2 price one for $1:29 and the second one for $2:29. I was wondering what was the difference a customer was by me and she they have to honer the lower price so i went to the rejester and they wanted to charge the higher amount and the manger on dutie said no this is a high end item and i am not going to give you the lower price. That is bad bad customer relations .

Im a regular at this Natural Grocers in Eugene. I usually shop twice a week, early am, but occasionally afternoons too. Without fail, in my years shopping here, I have never had a bad experience. The employees go out of their way to help, are kind and generous with information and assistance. Whenever the checkout line gets more than 2 deep, a cashier calls for other cashiers to respond. The only time Ive ever witnessed a hectic store would be on a day they have a special occasion celebration, then the store can get busy. I have met shy employees but never anyone rude. On the contrary, everyone is always so nice. If I dont go in with a smile, I always leave with one. I LOVE my Nat Grocers!

Natural Grocers is amazing, because tge staff and the products make it so! A must shop for health, wellness, and divine simple pleasures. Plus there is dining in available as well!I get my Brain Awake there as well as many other supplements and healthy treats. The 6 & 9 year old grandsons love the healthy snack solutions. And that says a lot since their other family members feed them the quick solution ... well, things I wont.If you have not shopped at a Natural Grocers, you will love the experience and prices! If you have, you know why you keep going back just as much as I do!

Natural Grocers is a nice little grocery store. Their produce was great and everyday prices were on par with a Market of Choice type store. I feel like the location is just not great for me to get in and out.

Oh such a great place for finding natures health. I loved it. Clean and organized.

Pre covid I would have rated them 3 stars. I used to come in about 2-3x a week for a few specific items. The store was always pretty slow and they have a decent selection of organic produce. The reason for the 1 star review is my last and final experience with them. They no longer honor mask exemptions (ok, fine) but they also do not offer personal shopping, pick up or delivery. I had 3 people stop me from entering, 2 of them claimed to be managers and all 3 were very snide about the whole thing. One of the managers was even laughing at me. He had a smirk on his face like he was enjoying turning people away. I believe his name was Jason. None of them appeared to be busy otherwise so I dont understand why they wouldnt offer, considering how often I came in and slow the store was, to shop for me real quick. I tried talking with them for about 5 min but it was a solid brick wall. They just turned me away and said Id have to use a 3rd party service if I want to shop there from now on. I left feeling sick to my stomach and will not be returning post covid. Whats happened to humanity in Oregon?

Dissapointed with customer service. The staff have become rude, inconsiderate and condescending. I feel this comes from the EGO, and biases from a newly promoted associate. Also disappointed they are spraying harmful disinfectants on the checkout belts, which is where my raw produce is placed. Nothing other than food touches them so why disinfect? Now my veggies come with a side of disinfectant.

Their food is quality and there arent exceptions. Free-range chickens🐔🐓🐣 and eggs are always fresh and available. They have everything relating to healthy vitamins and supplements - shelves and shelves of them. They have free cooking classes, which are available by signing up at no cost. Their 🍎 fruits🍉🍊🍌 and veggies 🍅🍆🌽are fresh; the store is very clean. Service is very good 👍👏 too!!!

Went in for the granola they specifically emailed us about. No Granola. Have other cereal from the same brand (mothers best) though for more money. No sub for the lower price either. Was told its not at every store. Ever heard of bait and switch? BTW there are lots of other places to get groceries in Eugene.

They have a great selection of almost every type of product, and free cooking/health seminars on the weekends which can be very informative and succinct. They have cardboard boxes for you to reduce waste and recycle. I would come more often, but it is far too expensive. I want to see them focus more on the community and provide affordable prices.

They have a plethora of items to choose from and especially choices which live up to the name. The supplements sections is particularly large with a wide array of nutrients to choose from. Its not like going to whole foods or any other grocery chain because they seem to be a little more knowledgeable about health than staff from other stores. They are really accommodating with any questions you have.

Gluten free friendly store. Some of the best prices in town. Definitely the cheapest place to get dairy free yogurt. Awesome staff and great regular programs such as health and cooking classes.

I came in for one specific thing, and it would have been very easy to find on my own, but the staff were so helpful I did not need to. Seemed to have a good selection of everything someone looking for natural groceries would also want for their home (pet supplies, candles, some clothes, bathroom stuff, supplements, ect.) The staff seemed to be happy and enjoying the workplace, which is one of the most important traits to me in a store.

We love this store! They have a great selection of healthy food. Great selection of Kombucha, one of the few places to get the large bottles. They also have a good variety of non dairy ice cream. I have a hard time getting out of there without spending a fortune though, I want to buy everything!

These guys are awesome. There have been three occasions where they carry the brand I like but not the flavor is scent that is the one I buy. When I asked if they could get the one that I want they were happy to fill out a little card with my request. All three times about a week later I get a call from them saying we got the product you requested in. So cool.The produce has the lowest prices in town by far. Sometimes being about 1/2 as much as market of choice. Seriously onions, carrots, beets, limes half the price!! And the produce section is 💯% organic. The eggs are a good price also.So going here you need to know, They dont sell booze or cigs. There bulk section is a little hard to follow. They dont have everything, but almost everything they do carry is a little less $ than other places.Thanks for the great service!!

I stop in every now and again because they have some decent specials and a small bargain area. Also some good supplements and decent prices on those. But as a place to buy regular groceries? No way! Staff is indifferent, the produce is underwhelming, limited local products, and the prices are too high. The nutrition and educational events are the saving grace, otherwise this place would be OUT OF BUSINESS! Theres hardly anyone in the store when I come in, and theres a reason why.

Amazing place. The roaming nutritionists there are very educated and up to date on the latest research. Their organic food they swear doesnt ever touch those with herbicides. They offer free nutrition classes which are very informative. bring your bag when you go shopping because they dont provide bags.
