This market of choice is definitely my favourite in Eugene by far. They have great parking, and are in a great location next to a whole bunch of other great outlets. This location in particular has one of the best Delis, they have lots of great options made in house, especially gluten free options . They also have a really great bakery that has very tasty gelato. The staff here is always super helpful and Works really well with problems, we were stuck in line for a really long time and a employee helped us out and sped it up which was awesome because we were in hurry. Only problem is that they are always out of gold peak sweet tea.

I love this store! The produce here is - somehow - better and lasts longer than produce from other places. The bakery is excellent and always had a wide variety of gluten free specialty items, which is rare. I also really appreciate the huge bulk bin section and the always helpful staff. They are a bit more pricey, but the difference really does speak to the quality.

My roommate and I bought some stuff from there deli today. HORRIBLE!!!! I know that store bought sushi is iffy at best, but this was awful! My roommate got some deviled egg potato salad and it was awful too!! Thinking the person that made it has no clue what they are doing. It’s too bad that we wasted $20!! If anything this is a “Public Service Announcement “review””!! Consider yourself warned!!

When I go here it is generally for good supplements and bakery needs. The last 2 times getting cake were enjoyable. Really fun staff. The cake had a nice enough flavor, however due to the extremely thick layer of frosting it was inedible. Both times actually, so its not likely Ill gamble another special event. Everyones plates were left full as they picked at what could be salvaged.Tone down the sickening sweet frosting. Youre ruining your own product!

Just tried to order 12 plain cupcakes with plain white icing for my Daughters birthday party Saturday and the bakery was unable to accommodate that because they are so busy. I reccomend going somewhere else. They seems way to overwhelmed to help customers with a simple request. I have ordered hundreds of cupcakes here before for my wedding and my sons wedding and never had issues. Super dissappointing!! Guess I will just start shopping somewhere else.

Ordering sandwich: On the counter there are brown lunch bags with sandwich options. Check the boxes with the provided pen to custom order. Give the paper bag with your order to the deli person. Walk around and shop while they make your sandwich. It takes around 10 minutes. When the sandwich is finished, they place the bag with your sandwich on top of the counter for you to pick up.

Market of choice is another trendy upscale grocery store a status oriented place to buy quality produce meats products and more. However they are really just like most grocery stores except quite spendy. They do have plenty of free parking as well as public restrooms which are clean and tidy. The store itself is well lit and clean. They offer flowers to baked goods to name a few as most grocery stores offer these days. The employees are helpful .This store is usually very busy.

Sadly this is one of the worst places to shop. The workers are rude, quality of their prepared food is dismal. Low grade cheap ingredients sold at high prices, cleaniness issues as well. Recently an elderly lady needed help and they ignored her. Worst the employees were overheard making crude vulgar comments. Though there are some great selections I urge people not to support this place until they raise their standards. All the products they carry are readily available elsewhere and your money will support businesses that actually value people over money and corporate governmental overreach.

I can usually get everything I need for fancy recipes, although I pay dearly for the privilege.Well maintained and plenty of room to move around. The food court has excellent offerings and the bakery is a good place to dream about all the desserts one must try some day.Expect to pay more for typical grocery items. Despite the claims they have made on their social media accounts, I am thoroughly upset with the lack of covid-19 precautions taken. They claim that they are taking precautions due to the state closing, but I have seen otherwise on my trips in. Seemed to me like all they did was put some stickers on the ground.... They don’t have anyone keeping track of how many people are in and out, and both entrances are open on top of that. Don’t know if they’re aware, but they should have had those “stay six feet apart” stickers to begin with, champ. If they’re not going to value your workers and customers, there’s easier ways than putting their health at risk. For a business that’s meant to be above other grocery stores and “fancier”, there’s nothing fancy about the way they treat their cashiers. If they’re not going to have anyone at the entrances counting the ins and outs, along with checking for masks, they better give their cashiers the ability to tell customers in their line to put on a mask. This is ridiculous and if there’s no change in behavior I have no reservations reporting the entire chain to OSHA.

I love this store and have been shopping here for 20 years—wonderful butcher, amazing gluten free options, great product variety. However, I am very disappointed in the lack of COVID protocols. They don’t limit the number of people allowed in at one time; both doors are used for in and out traffic; they don’t offer online shopping or curbside delivery. It is far too crowded and people have to pass too closely in the aisles. C’mon, Market of Choice—if Trader Joe’s and Albertsons can do it, so can you!

The cashiers are lovely, and that is about it. All of the prepared food I have had was sloppy and either was missing something, or had added something that wasn’t in the ingredients (like mayo in a sandwich that does not have it listed in ingredients). The younger staff are super rude and lack in modesty. They have been rude to my fiance at the fish counter several times. I’ve had one of them look at me like I was stealing, which clearly I was not and shop their often so I felt quite appalled at the attention I got. They get in front of me whenever I’m looking at products as if I’m in their way. Really terrible service.

I normally do not write this review, especially the bad ones, but today I decided to write one because this kept getting back to me. I fully acknowledge the fact that one of the cashiers was trying to be careful to make me stay in front of the clear shield (For your information, I was wearing a facial mask as well). However the part I dont quite understand is that the same cashier was just talking directly with a former customer (who happened to be a Caucasian woman) without the clear shield blocking between her and the cashier. I dont recall that the customer was wearing a facial mask nor the cashier making sure that she stays in front of the clear shield. I found this very surprising and irritating.Market of Choice was one of my favorite places to visit but now Im not so sure if I will visit there again. It came as a big disappointment.

Im at the store all the time because of the great selection and quality products. I love having organic veggies, and healthy food. The deli counter is great, and my husband and I use the seating upstairs and outside. BUT... the prices are way, way, too high- I truly feel taken advantage of as they jack up prices all the time. This is the best and largest market of choice in the area. They have a fantastic and large hot and ready food section, a full bakery, and great fine cheese selection. There are always tons of staff in the hot and ready food section that make selecting and getting food fast and easy. The hot food they have changes occasionally, they will circulate items they stalk, but they make sure there’s still a good variety. They have pizza, salad and olive bars, gelato, fine pastries and more. They also have a great selection of health and beauty products that isn’t always a given with market of choices.

Great deli, restaurant-level pizzas and other hot foods, and friendly service. The prices can be a bit high, and the size and expansiveness of the store is at once a good thing, because theres a lot of variety and a nice cafe area to sit in and eat or wait for other people, and a bad thing because it makes the store feel a bit corporate. So thats why I dont give 5 stars.Still, Id recommend it as a complement to Capella down the street since they both have strengths and weaknesses such that you can usually get most or all of what you want by going to both stores.

Crazy expensive - though they do carry high quality product. The icky other down fall is that theyre is some very basic items that they simply dont carry - tends to come off as things that rich people egotism bother with.
