Amazing selection of bottles and cans. Most are warm with a few coolers in the back.Also had a good selection of draft beers. I didnt bring a growler but they took good care of me. Nice staff, will be stopping in on future trips to this lovely city.

Great place for craft beers. Always have a ton of smoothie beers, Drekker, and great IPAs. Staff is friendly and will help you pick out beers if you ask.

I am no expert, when it comes to beer, but the staff immediately displayed their understanding of the subject by showing me a few beers I might like, based on my east coast favorites that just arent available here, and I liked ALL of their suggestions!! Everyone at 16 Tons is super helpful and attentive. A+ Guys!

This is the best place to prepare for your party. The selection of of drinks cant be beat in Eugene. The staff know their stuff, and will happily educate you if youre not privy to their global or continental choices available.

Great selection of beers with great workers that are knowledgeable about their inventory.Was in on the 22nd of December and had a great time. You know its a proper beer store when workers like hanging out when theyre not on shift. Will definitely be back next time Im in town.

They have tons of beer, ale, ect. Very little in the way of cider; what we came for. What they did carry, in ciders, was over priced. Very small parking lot, with construction 🚧 all around.

Delicious beers, loved the sours they offered and the bar tender was an absolute gem! I was there on a quiet night and just ended up chatting with him for most of the evening. Great vibe and perfect selection of beers, even a huge selection available to be taken home at the end of evening.

My favorite watering hole. The tap list is amazing, servers are friendly, enthusiastic about the beer, and generous with samples. And its a nice low-key hangout to meet a friend. There are no TVs on the walls, which I appreciate .

Arguably the best place in Eugene for craft beer. Knowledgable staff, a constantly rotating tap selection, tons of bottles to choose from off the shelf or in the cooler, as well as bottles of wine. The atmosphere is cozy and never gets too loud. Great place. I love it here.

One of the few places in town that has a great selection and is usually quiet enough that I can actually have a conversation with my friends without feeling like I have to yell. Nolan and Malachi are friendly and helpful servers, too...they do a fantastic job of learning what their regulars like and making good suggestions for them.

Bar tenders are amazing, beer selection is unbelievable, and its always a good temperature inside. Also, reasonable prices. The one bad thing is that the bathrooms are always unreasonably cold- a bad thing if drinking beer makes you pee often and you need to sit on a chilly toilet to do so...

This place was great! The shopkeep was helpful and informative. They had tons of beer for take-home purchase and many local taps. Loved this place for trying all sorts of Oregon beer!

A lovely place to grab a craft beer and write. Its small and quite with some of the best selection of beer in the city. (Only beaten by Bier Stein and maybe the Southside Market of Choice.) Is both a bottleshop and taproom.

16 Tons Tap House is by far one of my favorite tap houses in Oregon. Its the little place you almost dont want to become too popular, but want the world of success for the owners. The staff are always insanely friendly and helpful in choosing or suggesting beer selections from their 18 taps!! Its Small, cozy, quiet enough to talk comfortably and enjoy some conversation and great beer. Theres an even more insane selection of domestic and imported craft/micro bottled brews along the wall and a small refrigerated cooler for some chilled takeaways. Its certainly worth a stop-in if the above appeals to you - im sure youll find a new favorite.

I used to go to 16 Tons all the time, before Tap & Growler opened and Bier Stein moved into their new location. Lately its seemed lacking. Sure, the staff is great, and its generally quiet and mellow, but the taplist tends towards strange and extreme beers, and taplines and kegs arent well-maintained. Already-tapped kegs are often cycled between locations. Also, the only sink is in the bathroom, meaning glasses are washed elsewhere, which is kinda weird.

A great place with great beer and knowledgeable staff. Low key and always fun people here.

Such a great beer selection, such great service, I really enjoy my visits here. Theres no food, but Bill and Tims is a 30 second walk down the street with great food. If there is any downside its that the seating isnt comfortable at all, but beer softens the discomfort. You should definitely check this place out.
