We were visiting from out of town, when we had an unexpected car problem. We went to a neighboring shop first and after looking at my car they told me that the cause of the sulfur smell in my vents was due to a dead animal. I didn’t believe them. So I went next door to Midas.The staff was so friendly and helpful. My battery was changed in 20 minutes and my trip was saved. I could not be more appreciative of the kindness and understanding I was given.If I could give them more then 5 stars I would!

Im happy with Encinitas Midas for our Mini Coopers service and oil changes. Jeff and Dan are friendly, helpful and make sure its done right. It helps to make an appointment that way you are in and back on the road pretty fast.

Wow...wish I could give more than 5 stars. Not only treated me like a VIP, but while sitting and waiting for my vehicle to be done, a woman was at the desk getting her estimate, and it was obvious by her tone and body language that it was going to be tough for her to afford the cost. The manager came over and revised it taking the labor off and charging her for just parts. She actually said she didn’t want him to get in trouble, and he responded “I’m here to help people, that’s what I do”. I will come back and recommend this place to everyone I know because of the human aspect and customer service provided here.

The front desk man Jovani was very nice and straightforward about fixing the broken strap harness on my vans muffler. He got together with his expert welder Willy, and it was fixed in 1/2 hour for a very reasonable price. They were both great!

Ive been taking my car here for the last couple of years and Midas is the first place I have serviced my car where I dont feel like I am constantly getting ripped off. Jeff, the manager has always been amazingly helpful and honest with me about getting the most savings for the services that I absolutely need. They do great work there and are always timely and efficient. I cannot say enough about how helpful and friendly the manager is there. When my car needed a new catalytic converter, he quoted me a price that was far below a competitors and honored that price a year or two later, when I actually went through with the repair. I would absolutely recommend Midas Encinitas to anyone. Their customer service is amazing.

My July 2013 experience at Midas Encinitas on El Camino Real: I went by myself to make an appointment for the following week expecting to be without my car for at least one day. It needed brakes, power steering and the 60,000 mile checkup.It was late but Jeff stayed to look my car over. He suggested leavingit overnight so that they could begin work early. The next morning, as promised, the work I had authorized was done. Per my request he waited until 10am to call me.He made a few suggestions per their inspection and all work was done by 11am.Based on the terrible loud noises I was expecting a large power steering bill. All it needed was a flush.NO more noise! The entire staff was friendly and very courteous. My husband was pleased with the work that was done, that he did not need to get involved, and that the prices were very reasonable.Then Jeff called several days later to check up and to see if I had any questions. I asked if I could givehim and the staff an excellent recommendation. He said the best is to do a posting on the internet and justtell about my experience. So I did.  Nancy B, Carlsbad

I was in town visiting my daughter. She complained about a noise whenever she hit the breaks at a certain speed. I took it to Midas and had it checked out. Jeff told us there was no problem with the breaks or tires. No charge!Its nice to deal with mechanics you can trust. This shop is such a place.
