Can’t possibly say enough about Chris (shop manager) and this place. Our landlord had just brought his truck back from Suspension Plus for some new uppers, lowers, and strut maintenance and was very satisfied. Since I had been in the market looking for a local shop to install a complete suspension setup on my 3rd gen Tacoma, I figured I’d give them a call. Spoke with Chris over the phone for MAYBE 2 minutes, and I was sold. He opened up an appointment for me on short notice, and had a complete install done in a single day! The price was easily the best around, but the quality of the work is what really stood out. It was a very involved job, but even the owner (Louie) had his hands dirty working on it all day, and the results really show. This is a fantastic garage, and I drive from OB here because the service and professionalism are the best Ive experienced!I took my car here after another suspension specialist gave me half-as*ed work for way more money. Instead of going through the back-and-forth of getting them to do right, I took a gamble on Chris and Luis at Suspension Plus in Encinitas. In short—I couldnt be happier, and they have a customer for as Im around. Heres why:My car had the aforementioned suspension work badly needing completion, plus break and alignment issues. The problem was, I had recently lost my job heading into the holidays. Chris helped me make a game plan based on cost/budget and importance. He set me up with a good-better-best suspension option, and we went from there. Along the way, service was always timely, high-quality, and friendly. Issues arose, as they do with older vehicles, and I was immediately notified, given recommendations and options. Always high levels of transparency and dedication to customer service. Two months and three visits later, everything is driving great. They helped me get my car adventure-ready while staying mindful to my financial situation. In a health/economic pandemic as this, such honesty goes further than the eye can see. I cant say thanks enough to Chris and the team their outstanding professionalism. Ive since recommended Suspension Plus, Encinitas to numerous friends and would do likewise to anyone needing front-end work.

My ice cream trucks know Suspension Plus pretty well. They have rebuilt the front end on one of them and replaced engines in both. They are great. Their prices are fair and Luis is great to work with. If you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic with a fair price that stands behind their work, this is the place.

Great service, timely delivery, and honest pricing. I have never left a review but this place is so excellent i feel compelled to do so. I wont get into specifics but Louis has done great work for me on multiple occasions. You can expect good communication and overall great experience at Suspension Plus. They quoted me $600 to adjust all 4 coil-overs. Another shop quoted me $60.

When my truck broke down 70 miles into a cross country trip, Luis was quick to volunteer to diagnose and fix it when another shop couldn’t fit it in. He worked late on a Friday and on Saturday to ensure that my wife and I were back on the road as soon as possible (new fuel injectors, spark plugs, coils, and an oil change). Outstanding service, fair prices, and good people. Will be coming back to Luis and recommending to friends in the future.

Lou is simply the best. Honest, knows his stuff, super fair pricing, and just a really nice guy.I have been taking my Honda Accord to him for 3 years. Where another shoppe quoted me over $3k he did it for under $2k.Hes replaced my A/C compressor, done front and back brakes, replaced struts & ball joints, and a few other minor repairs.Lou is the man!

Luis at Suspension Plus in Encinitas is my favorite mechanic. Ive had him work on all my cars over the years, foreign and domestic and he is fantastic. He is really passionate about his work and such a pleasure to deal with. Hes very fair and he does great work! They have an advanced new laser alignment system and can handle just about any suspension, brake, engine work and tune-ups of course. Suspension Plus saved me so much on brake jobs alone where other mechanics try to charge too much.I highly recommend Suspension Plus!

Lou always takes great care of my Toyota Tundra and my wifes Jeep Cherokee. Weve been going to suspension plus for over 10 years now and its the honesty and price that keeps us coming back.

I got gouged big time on a timing belt job at Suspensions Plus. They used to charge about $169.00. When I got the invoice I noticed they charged me $299 + $60 for the belt. I didnt realize how bad it was until I called around and and found out the dealer only charges $225 including the parts!!! Plus they took forever to get it done and I had to come back another time just to get the rest of the work done. I think there was a change of ownership. The old guy used to be very reasonable in price. There are a lot of shops out there - Id definitely shop around.

Fast friendly service, not overly priced and the guys dis a great job.

Louie treated me very well. He had a challenge finding parts for an aftermarket front end on my 1955 GMC truck, but got it done. A few months later I had a related problem and he fixed it no charge.
