The staff were very attentive and friendly, however, I was advised that my vehicle required 4 new rotors and suggested the front pads be replaced as well. The price was way out of my range. I went to get another inspection and the rotors were in perfect condition and the pads had plenty of life on them as well. I didnt need to get anything replaced!

Im not going to beat around the bush. The employees here are totally professional and helpful. When my transmission unexpectedly went out on my Toyota Land Cruiser, they arranged for my rental vehicle for me. They had the rental car there waiting for me when the tow truck arrived at their shop. I received a FAIR estimate quickly, and all repairs were completed in one week. I unhesitatingly give Village Transmission five out of five stars!

Best shop in Seattle hands down, another shop misdiagnosed my truck and these guys got to the bottom of it quick put it all up online with pictures for me to be able to see literally everything they did. This is unheard of for most shops and I will never go to a different one. If you want great work done and to be able to see real-time photos of what theyre doing use this shop.

I couldnt be happier with the service we received at Village Transmission. My 2003 Chevy 2500 was having some transmission issues on the way back from a camp trip and we couldnt get it in anywhere. Village was the only spot that had time for us and I am so glad they did! The transmission trouble was diagnosed quickly and with confidence. Since our truck holds our family camper on it full-time, I asked them to do a general inspection on the truck to make sure everything was in order. Their inspection process was insane! You get access to a webpage with all the things they check, the status of those things and they even take pictures of most the services performed. They discovered we had a very dangerously bad ball joint along with a few other pretty severe things and were able to get all the work done within the week. This was a major safety issue and Im so glad they caught it. Ive asked other shops to do inspections before and nothing came up. They identified some real problems along with other things to just monitor and I feel really good about this whole process. I will be back with my wifes car in the near future! Thanks so much to these folks for getting us back on the road so we can continue to explore safely.

Love this place. Ive been using Village Transmission for years along with sending friends and family there for service and repair. These days its hard to find an honest independent shop that works on all makes and models that offers fair pricing, reliable service and diagnostic work. These guys do all of that and stand behind the work they perform. And yes, they do diesel repair as well! This was my first visit, but Village Transmission was recommended by a very close friend, and I can see it was for a good reason. They were prompt getting me in, finished much sooner than expected and were friendly and professional. When I needed warranty repairs on my complex cooling system, and they realized I would need to visit the dealership, they graciously didn’t charge for looking into the issue for me. In addition to bringing my car in for brakes I also brought it in for an annoying problem with the hatchback being unable to unlock. I have a 2007 Honda CRV and had the actuator replaced by the Honda dealer in 2019 for a similar problem with all five doors being unable to unlock. Dave Earp the owner had his service man spend a couple hours diagnosing the problem but came up with no simple solution. I decided on not pursuing any further diagnosis and to leave the hatchback problem for another day. Dave generously did not charge me the several hundred dollars for labor this service man performed. As a senior on a fixed income I appreciate a business like Dave’s to not charge in this particular instance. That’s why I keep going back to Village transmission for all of my repairs. P S they even charged me less for an oil change then Jiffy Lube

This is the third time I’ve used this business. Great service each time, notified me of any possible issues. Let me decide how to deal with those issues. There was no pressure, just recommendations. Example was the coolant level of use during the winter was not at the manufacture recommendation. It did need a change and the brake fluid was dirty after 140,000 miles. I decided to take it in and have the oil changed too. Every time they took pictures of the readings and did a quick synopsis of what they did. Price was comparable to other shops. The facilities is clean and they were able to get the listed services done before noon. I highly recommend Village Transmission and Auto Clinic for your vehicle needs and services.I continue to appreciate this business. My pickup died on Saturday evening and wouldn’t start. I called AAA to tow it to Village Transmission & Auto Clinic. It was AAA approved and was towed to the facility with no problems. This business does not have a tow truck, so be aware you’ll need to call AAA directly. I really expected that Village Transmission & Auto Clinic wouldn’t be able to work on it for several days as they do need to schedule the work. At 3:00 on Monday I get a message that they diagnosed the problem and could fix it with a couple recommendations. In my message were pictures of the problem and the recommendation of additional services. I approved the fix and within the hour it was fixed and services performed. The bill was affordable and fair and I got my pickup back on Monday afternoon. I appreciate them working it into their busy schedule and getting it repaired as soon as they did. I still highly recommend Village Transmission & Auto Clinic.

For starters, we’ve been bringing our whole family’s vehicles to this shop for a few years now and have never been let down. This almost wasn’t a 5 star review, but allow me to explain. Went in to have them look at my busted rear seatbelt and moon roof that’s stuck open. Turned out we needed a couple other services which they performed great, and quoted us for the above mentioned items. We decided to hold off on the sunroof cause as much as I love this place, $500 for labor on a roof motor replacement just doesn’t sit right with me haha. Sorry guys. Anyways, got the seatbelt quote and had them order the parts. So it comes time to install the parts and I get a call saying the tech that gave the original quote was wrong and it’s now going to be an extra 400 because it’s more work then originally thought. I spoke with Curt and he had managed to get me down about 150 bucks but we were still way far off from the OG price. I accepted the deal anyways because I understand as a shop the labor charges can’t stop because of a misquote so I figured we were okay. When the repair was done Curt called and let me know, but also let me know he had gone back and managed to honor the OG price quote. Very impressed with the work done and especially the customer service. It was a welcome surprise I wasn’t expecting. I’ll definitely keep bringing my vehicles in and recommend my friends do the same. Imagine spending $3,000 on getting your clutch fixed… just for it to stop working AGAIN a hour into driving (5:30pm of course so they were closed) after being at this shop for 3 weeks. I guess the company does not care about the quality of their work.

My prius wouldnt start. They found out its the main battery. The used Prius cost 4k and the battery is over 3k so we asked if we could leave it there while I look for a donation center that would accept it. They are great people, polite professional. I highly recommend them.

I contacted COSTCO to see what Repair Shops they had that serviced Fords. I have 2004 Ford 150 Supercab. It was 10,000 beyond a oil change that was due and hadnt been serviced in over 7 years! Had Check Engine Light and the Code indicated a missing cylinder. I had a number of options that included local Ford Dealerships. There was 1 locally/family owned shop near me. I contacted them and talked with a Curt. He was the most helpful I have every had from a Service Manager. He thoroughly went through his operation and explained what would happen if I were to select them. I told him that I am very skeptical of Repair Shops, like most people. He explained their Family Owned philosophy and was deeply appreciative of the potential business, particularly with how hard small has taken due to COVID-19.I took my truck in THE VERY NEXT DAY. The following day I received a series of emails that had very detailed photographs and identification of all that needed or should be done. Curt was consistent in getting pre-approval for each and every repair that was needed. The Truck was road tested a number of times and there was NO DELAY in obtaining parts or having the Technician work on the Truck. This is contrasted with Infinity which needed to repair my auto-antenna for the Stereo. I was without my Q45 for 5 weeks while they ordered a part off Ebay.To say that VIllage Transmission & Auto Clinic is a 5-Star Facility is a gross UNDERSTATEMENT. Id give them 10-stars. I have notified my friends and family in the area that I highly recommend them.

Bring your car here. If something needs to be fixed they fix it and if it doesnt actually need to be fixed they will tell you that instead of tricking you into paying them more.

Wonderful service! I brought my car in bc I thought I needed front brakes and also needed a full assessment of any issues plus oil change. Ive never had a mechanic do such extensive testing and thorough examination of my car, and the process was explained to me in detail. Turns out my brakes were still good , but needed a new alternator and drive belt (and tires but elsewhere). They could have charged me to replace my brakes and Id be none the wiser. The team was very professional, fair, honest, flexible and extremely nice. Plus, they send the entire estimate with details on a report via text. How cool was that! I chose them bc a few years back, my entire transmission needed to be replaced. They assessed my car but instead of doing the $5k plus job, the mechanic asked if my cars transmission might still be under warranty. I hadnt considered that so he looked into it for me and, sure enough, Nissan had to cover the entire cost at the dealership under warranty. Saved me a ton of money! Thats not only very honest but really going the extra mile. A painless experience. I completely recommend them and will use them in the future.

These are the best mechanics in South Snohomish - North King County. They are the only ones I have found that will take on early model classics and older cars plus they service my newer model cars much more thoroughly and affordably than any dealer or other shop would. I would highly recommend.

I have been using them for several years. Most recently a hose came off the radiator and drained all the fluid from my transmission. They worked on it quickly, accurately, and cheerfully. Very impressed.

Everyone was super awesome I went to get a belt replaced and they inspected my whole car for free! They were so polite and I didn’t feel like I was being over charged at all!They had my car back to me right when they said they would.I now know what I need to tackle next on my car and they helped me. Forgive out what I should fix first and how to get it into tip top shape! Beyond happy. So Happy I have a new mechanic!

I actually love and trust this place! have taken my two personal cars and my wifes car to this place. My wife was a little unsure as she only takes her car to the same shop in Everett, but when she saw how personable Curt in the front is when you walk through the door, how he remembers your name and tries to make this car hassle experience better and easy going. we now take our cars there if anything happens and are sure that we are in good hands. they also do referrals to other places they trust if they cant fix something in shop.

I was kept informed during the diagnosis of the problem and they sent pictures of the specific part. I was so grateful for all the care I received here. I made an appointment and listed all the symptoms of my car. I had a specific issue whereas my car had recently been fixed in Ellensburg while passing through, the same issue was happening again, only this time worse. Curt was outstanding. Not only did he make sure that I was informed of what was going on, sending me email updates of my car WITH video and photo, but for me the best yet, he went the extra mile by calling the old repair shop to get the warranty AND called the warranty place to give me the discount off of my bill. These extra ways of real TLC, I miss and my car runs even better than before! Thank you team!

These guys took the time to do the right thing. Found the issue , and fixed the issue at an incredibly reasonable price. There were no hidden costs or surprises on my invoice. They did exactly what they said they would do. I will be using this shop for all car related issues from here on out.

Had these guys install a drain plug on my 14 Edge Sport AWD. One of the only shops that have experience doing this. Ford seems to think that the PTU is a lifetime fluid, no such thing. Since then I have had them do my transmission fluid change and rear diff. Always good work, fair prices and they clean up any mess under the car.

I recently took my Honda Pilot into Village transmission to have the transmission rebuilt. I was pleasantly surprised to find how professional and informative the guys were. Dave went out of his way to keep me abreast as to what was going on with my vehicle and exactly what the price was . I would recommend anyone to go there and I will most definitely be returning if I need any other work done.

I went to two others repair shops on the eastside because my car was driving really rough when I got up to 65 mph. Also my engine light was coming on occasionally. I used my scanner and it said I had catalytic converter issues. Also turbo came up later. I understand a catalytic converter can get clogged and cause issues. The one shop owner put a coil in, that my scanner didn’t show I needed and charged me to look at my catalytic converter. Then wanted to charge me almost $600 to tear my catalytic converter and turbo apart to find my problem. Never taking my car for a test drive. A friend told me about Village Auto. They took my car for a test drive and checked my catalytic converter and turbo. The mechanic said everything looked good but the tires needed to be rotated and balanced. He also said a minor part on the turbo has been having issues on Audi’s which I already read about online. He ordered the part and I was going back to have it put on but I was called and told the mechanic didn’t feel comfortable putting it on until my engine light came back on. It’s been over a month and a half since I had my tires rotated and balanced and my car is driving great with no engine light coming on! Yay!!

Village Transmission is great, they were patient as I asked a million questions and took the time to explain my cars issues in a way I could understand (Im not mechanically inclined). They were honest and didnt push or pressure me. My repairs werent going to be cheap so their honest opinions on the issues really helped calm my nerves. They also email you pictures and explanations of everything they look at. Ill definitely be a regular customer now.

Village provided a very detailed pre-purchase inspection. The electronic report Included many photos, videos, and comments. In addition the staff was friendly and took time to educate me on what they found. It was a good value as I was able to use the report to have a few small items repaired by the seller that would have costed much more than the cost of the inspection.

I have been using Village since the mid 90s. I have never dealt with a full service shop that treats off of their customers like there were family. When I come in they greet me by name. They are very honest when it come to the repairs they recommend you have done. And they will tell you if the necessary repairs are worth more than the car! I tell all my female friend to go here because they dont try and rob you! I appreciate the quality of service and the friendly atmosphere.

Curt, Tyler, Skip and the guys at Village have been nothing but outstanding and easy to work with. I’ve had a nightmare of a time with my truck prior to discovering these guys and they’ve been the best to work with. Reasonable prices and great communication. My truck needed a bit of an overhaul under the hood. After the big install I noticed a little leak coming from the engine bay. Since these guys warranty their work, they ripped open the engine again to fix at no cost to me! Would recommend these guys to anyone.

I had my van towed there 3 times. Each time they assured me it was fixed. After the third time they promised they would pay to have it towed back and fix everything for free. even though Ive already paid them to fix it three times. so when it broke down about ten miles later doing the exact same thing I called and they said there not messing with it any more. The fuel is leaking out the top and puddling all over since the first time I took it there I said it has fuel leaks and is getting air in the line. I told them I wanted the leak fixed. They never fixed them. I live in that van. They cost me with towing about $1000. And its still broken and about to get towed. Village transmission steals from the homeless.
