Do not go here. We are in a middle of a pandemic and yet they allow customers in their lobby with out mask and do not enforce it. The entered my car, vacuumed it, and went through my glove books without mask on. Their on greeter has no mask when he approached me and spoke with me. Do to their negligence and lack of safety I have no choice now to get a covid test to protect my family since apparently they are clueless on what’s going on nor care for the safety and well-being of their customers. Do not go here. If you do your life and safety is at risk.

This is a stand up shop. Been coming for the last few years. Dont expect dealer level technicians when you come here, but you can expect respect and honesty. They mess something up, theyll fix it. If you need something done theyll tell you. If you dont, theyll tell you. Staff is respectful of your vehicle and any requests you have. You get what you pay for with this group and in an industry that tends to try to manipulate folks without a lot of knowledge, this is a shop you can go to a know youll get taken care of. Nothing and no one is perfect but how you conduct yourself goes a long way. Ill be up later today getting my over due oil change. Thanks in advance to the guys 👍

We have gone here for oil changes since they opened. Today they were just lacking what they used to be. It was hard sale all the way. What they used to do well (like vacuuming the car) is gone. Changing synthetic oil every 3 months isnt necessary. I think well go back to tube dealership.

Had my oil changed 1 month ago here, for the first time. At the beginning of the week my car registered minimum oil level, checked and sure enough it was. Added one quart to check for leaks could not see any; had a mechanic look at it today, they didnt find any leaks, seems like they are stingy on how much oil they put in. Customers be aware check your oil levels before leaving or Id recommend finding a better quality shop.

Ive been coming here for about 8 years! I love customer service always friendly and recommend what needs to be done to your vehicle but never pushy! I brought all my vehicles here and now even my husband does! Thank you for all your hard work guys!

I like this location, have always gone to Grease monkey... its cheaper than some other places and they arent all kids. Danny has been there for years and I go back because he is knowledgeable and treats me well. I trust him and have seen him watching and teaching the younger employees the right way to work on a car. Edit: we were not shown any rats nest as noted by the manager below. Nor did anyone even mention it to us - which would have been nice. We were only shown the two filters and asked whether we wanted them changed. My fiancé was there and can attest to that. There was also a lot that was accessible, but they just shoved the filter in anyway - upside down and in the wrong direction.Air cabin Filter was put in wrong and Upside down. Dug it out because on my way home it was making some weird noise, found out there was shredded paper or something in my car.... dude didn’t say anything about it. Won’t ever go back.

Stopped in for an oil change this afternoon, a guy named D met me at the door and directed me inside to fill out paperwork.Arriving inside I waited as D yelled at the guys in the shop about taking their heads out of their a$$es, then he walked in and helped me. After paperwork he went back into the garage and continued to yell, a short time later he came in with my air filter, which I declined changing. He returned back to the shop for more yelling.His behavior was rude, his yelling was not due to noise and his language was verbally abusive towards the others in the shop. The check oil light was never reset in my car, and my grocery bag was torn and thrown onto the seat.I wouldnt recommend anyone going to this place.

I went there with my daughter. We didnt have an appointment. She had the oil and transmission fluid changed. The staff were friendly. It was clean. They did the work in a timely manner. The price was reasonable. The waiting room is small (but so are the competition).

In my opinion this is the best Grease Monkey location. Staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately some other locations arent nearly as nice which can have an impact on brand. I now live far away and make special trips just to have these guys do my oil. Thats how good and friendly they are.

They do not offer any travel inspections for vehicles, they did not have clear communication and they were not friendly. I do not know about their regular oil change service, so I cannot speak to it.

I was there for 35 minutesand did not receive help. Id rather go to jiffy lube for the same price. This location is awful. In my 35 minutes in the lobby I saw employees use avoidance behaviors and scummy upselling practices to unsuspecting folk while I remained unhelped. Terrible.

I was pleasantly surprised by the service here. Very friendly, very knowledgeable.. very speedy even on a busy Saturday afternoon. They ha e complementary beverages. I will be returning.

I came in there Saturday to get my 2013 gmc terrains oil changed, transmission serviced and rear differential serviced. Very good customer service and very quick. They also ran the codes for my check engine light and wrote the codes down for me. Come to find out it was a serious issue and I am very glad they were so thorough and told me to get it fixed right away. Because come to find out it is covered under my power train warranty and my warranty only has one month till it expires. Your guys saved me a lot of money with their sense of urgency on taking care of the issue. So thank you all for that

Went in for an oil change. Cost way more than any other oil change Ive ever received. I found out two weeks later that they didnt change my oil. Not only dishonest, but dangerous. Will not return.

Yesterday my wife brought her car in for an oil change. She told the employee that took the car that she only wanted the standard change which would have cost around $30. After they took her car into the bay an older worker came in and told her Why are you putting the wrong oil in your car in a condescending tone. He then proceeded to lecture her on what the dealer recommends and finally pressured her into going with the more expensive package. Long story short she walked out laying down $75.+. We know that the oil that they put in her car is the recommended grade but we were not planning on spending that much for an oil change. A company should NEVER pressure one of their customers into a more expensive product. Even if those things are recommended. We will never use this Grease Monkey again. Personally, I RECOMMEND go to Jiffy Lube.

They have done my oil changes for awhile now. They are fast with their work and great to go to when they have coupons. Feel like they may stretch the truth sometimes in what needs replacing. I dont necessarily appreciate that.

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! The level of customer service from this store and from the management staff was the worst I have ever seen. I had a Trans Fluid Exchange on 12/29/2016, after driving it for 15 miles, the car would not shift out of 1st gear. They would not own up to the mistake they created, I had to have the car towed to a dealership, where they found that transmission fluid was 3 quarts low. I will never allow Grease Monkey to service any of my vehicles, I advise you to do the same. They have no idea what they are doing! The manager Danny needs to be fired, he does not know the meaning of customer service!

Like James Ngy, they applied tamper seal to drain plug, which caused it to seize and not able to remove it. Then blamed mechanic who tried to change oil for rounding off the head, but I watched their guy literally hang off of a wrench that held tight while he did it. Manager Danny then lied about it, but then accidentally spilled the beans. Theyve had so many of these incidents that they have a stack of cards for a guy they have on tap to try to drill them out. They will blame everyone else but themselves for this, including Magic Toyota and other professional shops. Stay away.

Terrible, terrible lying people work here. We used to take our cars to the Shoreline location before it was sold to the city. This was our first and last time at this location. We will never take our vehicles for any reason to another Grease Monkey and I will be urging everyone I know to do the same. They have false advertising and sneaky tactics to trick you into paying way more money. Even with a coupon, we paid way too much for an oil change. Very bad service. I would recommend taking your car anywhere else. The manager, Daniel, was extremely rude and should not be in a management position or working in customer service at all.

The people and the manager at the store were very rude when I went in. The manager was yelling at employees and after he found out that I had a fleet vehicle that you need to call and get authorization on he went off on about not having time to do thatand exaggerated the point that I would be waiting a long time. Would not recommend anyone go here.

Best oil change place in Washington

Car was squeaky so I asked for a belt change, they told me I do not need one and instead changed my oil. I got in an argument with one of the grease monkeys telling them that I dont want their god damn oil and to give me back my old oil. The guy billed me 30+ bucks for oil I did not ask for. Later that month I went to a auto parts store and bought a 30$ belt and fixed my squeaky belt problem.GO TO JIFFY LUBE!!!

Ive been getting most of my oil changes and minor vehicle maintenance here for about three years. Sure, its not as cheap as Wal-Mart or DIY but the price is worth the service. I can honestly say the people working here have always been friendly, professional and good at their job. Ive never observed high pressure sales tactics or any suspicious situations.

Been there several times, they always get the job done fast and well, and always have some sort of discount.

Ive been getting my oil changed here for years. Its a fine place.

.my car broke down found out dead battery my transmission oil & other stuff. But the sad thing is just less then 2 weeks before had oil change every thing checked off saying they checked it. People double check. Dont pay for things that later youll found out hasnt been done.

Dougs employees put a substance on the threads of our car for oil cap, oil filter cap, and oil plug he called tamper seal without our knowledge. This yellow substance is to prevent him from being scammed from customers who drain their oil and say his shop was caused engine damage. Auto techs from 2 other business confirmed this yellow substance damaged our vehicle by fusing the plastic oil filter cap and oil cap to our engine. Doug claimed broken oil filter caps is common in what he sees. It appears his practice of using this substance is what is driving the damage since the other two shops did not share this practice. When I mentioned the two auto shops who called out his shop for the damage he claimed they were all bad auto shops and it was my mistake for not taking the car back to his shop. We still have more repairs to make since his shop put tamper seal on every threaded area that the oil goes into or comes out of. I have attached the bill which has notes from an ASE certified auto tech who outlines the cause for the damage

After the full service oil change, I asked what pressure level they set my tires to. I was told that because I have TPMS they dont need to check the tire air pressure. Checking the air pressure is part of the $84.99 full service. If they skipped this, what else did they skip? Ive taken my car there for years, now theyve broken the trust that theyll do the job theyve been paid to do.

DO NOT GO HERE. He tampered with my car because i refused his sales tactics. Grease Monkey is a Franchise. I have always gone to the one on Bothell way and they ONLY replace what needs to be replaced and they dont charge an arm or a leg. I didnt know they were a franchise and i had moved to Edmonds, so i stopped for a quick oil change at this one. He charged me twice as much as the Bothell Grease Monkey and recommended that my air pump, air filter, oil filter, transmission fluid, and rear diff fluid to be replaced. I told him no to all of these, because i had just had it checked three months ago and the other grease monkey said everything looked great, so i wanted to double check with them before i did anything. Then he came back 5 min later and told me he needed to clean my engine before changing the oil and it would be $64.99!! i said no. He then proceeded to tamper with my car and my check engine light came on the next day. I then took my car to the Grease Monkey in Bothell. They said my oil wasnt changed, and my air pump had been tampered with so my car would eventually just shut off while im driving. I asked them if they ever cleaned the engine before changing the oil.. he said of course! We can do that for ya, its only ten bucks!..... Bothell charges $10 and Edmonds charges $64.99..... WOW.. theres a major problem with this guy.. DO NOT GO HERE
