Worked with Dave and Blake who were both FANTASTIC, honestly I haven’t received customer service at this level in far too long. They helped me switch to Verizon from T-Mobile, and took all the stress out of doing so, while being so genuine and helpful. There wasn’t that uncomfortable sales-y icky feeling that you get at every other phone store, we actually were able to talk like normal people! I also found both of them to be extremely knowledgeable, even when discussing higher level product/service information. Dave even hooked me up with a sweet 10 Watt wireless charger that I now can’t live without.I am, and have been, excited to be a part of Verizon (clearly the best network) for a while now, but realistically I don’t plan on visiting any other store in the area because of the wonderful service these two gentlemen provided.

My cell phone broke in an accident a day before I have to leave state. I walk into this Verizon at 5 pm, two hours before they close. The door has a sign that states walk ins are available with their normal business hours. As I get there, Im told that its appointment only, so I mention the sign on the door to which they just said, sorry . I tried explaining the situation and I told them I would be flying to New York City with out a working cell phone in the morning if they couldnt help me, and without any hesitation the worker Blake told me there was nothing they could do in two hours. Iunderstand that it is a bit of an inconvenience for them, but theyre lazily posting false information on their door and I also didnt really feel like they cared. Pretty disappointed in the lack of empathy especially during a pandemic. These guys are an essential service, kinda seems like they would want the business to me, I told them I wanted to buy a new phone. Just piss poor service guys, Im now going to be lost in New York City in less than 14 hours because of Blake. Thanks Verizon

I picked this Verizon store because of its Google rating and a preliminary phone call, and I have to say I was not disappointed. The service was highly professional, and at the same time, relaxed and informal. Just what I was looking for.My wireless consultant, Blake, spent 3 hours explaining plan options, installing software upgrades to my new phone, performing data transfer, and installing a new case. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the digital world and his firm commitment to quality service. I would highly recommend this store to anyone that needs Verizon service and wants to be treated like a real person.

This was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. I enter the store at about 4:00. There were two individuals being helped by the two staff. I understand that phone activations and new plans take A LOT of time. I was fine with waiting. One employee decided he would help and try to start two people going, myself and the current client he was working with. An hour later that employee was still helping both of us, while the next employee moved on to a new client. disregarding the fact that I had been there an hour already and was only being half helped. This employee then disregarded Verizons policy to allow someone not on the plan to affect a plan and let the client buy a new phone on his mothers plan. When they finally could give me their full attention they didnt know the plans and couldnt tell me what unlimited plans had degraded service and what that meant. I had to look it up on Verizons website. Ultimately, because of this store, Verizon lost me and my family as a customer, and I went with AT&T.

Mr. Kim was so knowledgeable and helpful with all the information we needed to purchase new phones. Our experience with Mr. Kim was great. He was courteous and patient with us while we were learning how to use the phones. He also offered time on a Saturday for a tutorial on the full use of the phone.I would highly recommend stopping in to see Mr. Kim if you are need of a new phone with service through Verizon.

Came in to see about repairing my iPhone - that was not possible and of course I did not purchase the insurance. Salesman named Matt worked with me for over an hour. He asked me pertinent questions about my phone usage and did not attempt to over-sell me on a new phone! He was awesome and made sure all my contacts, photos etc were transferred to my new LG phone! Super Star in customer service! This is the ONLY Verizon store I ever shop at. Period.

I always make it a point to come to this particular Verizon store when I need assistance, even though it is not the closest store to my house anymore.I recently lost my phone, bought one from an individual online (without doing my research) and took it to this store to get activated. Martel patiently tried to activate the phone, which ended up being incompatible with Verizon. He explained why and even found me another safer and affordable option to purchase a phone from his store! I was so happy I was able to buy an even better, brand new phone WITH accessories for about the same price as the one I bought online.Thank you Martel! I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the store has been under new management since the summer. Everyone was so helpful, especially the rep working with me, Anthony. I came in to get a new Sim card for my new phone because the old one didnt fit. Darnae helped me get set up with a new Sim card. He also helped me to transfer everything over from my old phone to my new phone. Backstory: Ive had an LG G5 for about a year, and had GPS issues from the first day. I went to 2 other Verizon stores, whos employees gave me useless information (turn the Location services off and back on again, get a new SIM/SD card, get a replacement phone). I tried all of their suggestions, even got 2 different replacement phones, and nothing worked. Though everything on Android forums said this is a known issue with LG, the people at the other stores and on both the LG and Verizon chat lines refused to even acknowledge that it could be the model, not the actual phone. *BUT* I went in to the East Lansing Verizon retailer and all three reps there immediately admitted that yes, LG sucks when it comes to GPS. I worked with Daniel S, and he did everything in his power to get me a better phone without having to pay a ton out-of-pocket. I was the last customer there, and he stayed after close to make sure I was comfortable with my new phone. He was super patient when I had one million questions about the new phone and the bill. He even turned on Pandora to my favorite station while we worked things out. He obviously cares about his customers - something I really havent seen at the other Verizon locations.

Ive had this annoying and persistent malfunction where my phone did not detect a sim. Ive come into this store 3 times in the span of about two weeks and have been helped kindly by the staff each time. Unfortunately, each time the issue persisted. After experiencing a few dropped calls and tons of unsent messages I walked in to the store ready to blow up. I was frustrated and tired of an expensive as heck device not working like it should. A worker named Janene greeted me and listened to my issues. Going to my local Verizon store and/or changing cell phones is something I avoid doing at all costs. It usually takes a ridiculous amount of time and completely frustrating. That was NOT my experience here, though! My phone died when I was in East Lansing and I went to the nearest Verizon store - which happened to be this non-corporate store- and it was a completely pleasant experience. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and honest and went out of their way to help me get a new phone, save on my plan, and set up my phone before I left the store. I will drive the 40 miles from home to go here instead of local stores near my home.

We stopped in to this store on a Sunday morning. Young Kim was absolutely stellar. Unfortunately, they did not have the phone we wanted in stock, but Young offered to go pick one up from another location for us! Since we were on a time crunch, we declined the offer. That was a mistake. We went to a corporate Verizon store in East Lansing and the service was okay, but they did not offer to activate the phone and restore it from the backup of the old phone. We ended up going back to Young Kim and he got everything up and running for us, including backing up the old phone (we had trouble with that on our own) AND restoring the backup into the new phone. We will never go anywhere else in East Lansing from now on! Thank you again, Young!
