Ive purchased two cars from this dealer and found the buying experience very positive. The service department is a totally different experience. I recently set up an appointment for an oil change and told the service rep I would be waiting while they performed the service. At 1:30pm the vehicle had not moved from the drop off point. The vehicle in front of mine also hadnt moved. When I told them that I had an appointment and if they hadnt even begun the service I would need to leave. The rep simply said the keys were in the car. No apology for the wait or lack of service.

While Im satisfied with the vehicle I purchased, the overall experience as a University Ford North customer has been mediocre and unexceptional, at best. My salesperson, Tim, was helpful but Ive had no communication regarding my registration and plates. When I called to ask about the status (having seen they were issued by the DMV) the person I spoke with was rude and condensing. I also still receive almost daily calls from someone at University Ford about buying the vehicle, which I purchased three weeks ago. I wont be purchasing a vehicle again from this dealership. As a convert from Toyota to Ford, I might need to recalibrate my expectations after having exceptional customer service, free oils changes, and a welcoming staff and experience at Mark Jacobson Toyota.

David Harrington is that no pressure salesman that lets the car sell itself. He is very knowledgeable and will explain the cars features to you but no pressure to purchase it.

Really good experience, Tim Pleasant our salesperson was awesome to work with. Always look for local 1 owner used trades, Ford of course, with low or average mileage, will definitely call Tim when I need to trade again. He had no problem texting instead of phone calls, had the truck ready when I arrived and paperwork done. In and out in just a few minutes, service department had to do a recall on the truck and so far I am pleased with that service.

Had service visit to have my keys reprogrammed for a vehicle I purchased from a local owner. The service staff was helpful and personable. It is not a large service department, so would recommend setting up an appointment ahead of visit. I had scheduled an appointment ahead of time, and felt satisfied with the time it took to complete. Waiting area was comfortable! Was very satisfied with the service!

If I could put a zero I would. I was told over the phone that nothing was wrong and my car drove well but when I picked it up I was told the complete opposite and that they could do nothing because my vehicle was out of warranty. It’s not out of warranty and still has two years left. They also could not find my keys for the first bit of me being there, extremely bad because I only have one set. My boyfriends parents had also has issues ere but I decided it was worth a try because they had the earliest appointment. Bad idea and total waste of time. They took their excursion twice and the workers could not find anything wrong so they took it somewhere else and had it diagnosed and fixed within 24 hours.

I went in with a 9am appointment for an oil change and did not walk out until 11am ..just don’t understand why it took 2 hours for an oil change and I had an appointment

Great staff and service. They found and fixed a major engine I didn’t know I had. Wasn’t sure it was covered under warranty but they assured me it was. Service Advisor, Wesley Cogdell, offered me a loaner I wasn’t even expecting. Very honest and knowledgeable people.

Sales experience was good initially. Bought a used 70k truck from them with clean carfax and their inspection showing no accidents. On the two hour home drive the front adaptive cruise control sensor didnt work at all and showed a fault code and the drivers door came loose and began shaking violently on the interstate. Took it to local dealer and had bolts tightened and they advised me that the entire side of the truck had been replaced. After contacting the management at University Ford North, they implied that the truck was sold as is, and they would basically give me 10k less for the truck I had just purchased on trade, therefore leaving me with a 17k rollover into another vehicle!! Have ANY used vehicle from this dealership inspected thoroughly! Even if they claim the carfax to be clean Very disappointed.

The service department at University Ford North is top notch! I had a problem with a bent rim and a bubbled tire and was going to be leaving for a trip back to Indiana the next day. Julie and the service department got me right in and did their very best to fix the problem. They did EXCELLENT work and got me back on the road right away. I went for a recall repair, it was quick and the people were friendly.
