Only store that does not accept returns from another Ace store. Unlike every other chain store out there. Even though every store has the Ace name on it, you must return to the exact store purchased from…Even on their website it says “Easy Returns”Another reason why Ace stores are closing all over the place!It was NOT a specialty item. I had a receipt as it was purchased 2 days ago. The item was a $3.99 Faucet adapter from one common size to another. 55/64 x 13/16 adapter. IT WAS AN ACE branded Faucet adapter too!! Not even a third party product!!!!ACE needs to clarify that they are independently owned and spell it out clearly. It is not mentioned on receipts or ANY return policy!!

Just moved into a new condo next door and needed some stuff for around the house. Prices are a tad higher. Staff were helpful, and quick. Got the cleaning supplies I needed. Outdoor stuff I wanted was a no go. But they will keep seeing me as a returning customer. Already need to go back for some nuts and bolts!

We recently purchased a Webber Grill from this ACE hardware and we were blown away by the excellent quality of their customer service. Both the assembly and delivery of this item were provided at no cost and the delivery team not only kept us informed about the impending delivery, with several calls, but they were willing and able to deliver it to its final resting place on our rear deck. KUDOS to this ACE store and this is but one example of why we try to shop there for all or our Hardware and other needs!

I went into this Ace Hardware Tamarac Square to make duplicate keys. One of my keys was a pool key, that said “do not copy”on it. Thomas, who stated he was a manager, waited on me. He stated that I had to prove that I was an owner in order to copy the key. I showed him my closing documents that proved ownership and my drivers license. Thomas showed me a notebook from other people who had copied keys that said “do not copy” and many only had a copy of a drivers license. Thomas refused to copy my key despite the proof of ownership I provided. Thomas purportedly copied 2 of my keys but refused to copy the 3rd key as did two other men that Thomas called over. I absolutely felt discriminated against and belittled as a woman in a hardware store by 3 men. Thomas also played a very juvenile, and passive aggressive trick on me because I realized afterwards that for one of the two keys he was purportedly making 6 copies of, he just put blank keys in the bag and didn’t actually copy the keys even though I paid for 6 duplicates. The entire experience was extremely upsetting and I would never recommend anyone, especially a woman alone, go into this store because of the chauvinistic, discriminatory treatment I received. The store owner should severely reprimand these men, Thomas in particular.

The Sales Staff are ALWAYS helpful and friendly. They almost can read your mind as to what you need if you are having a hard time describing it. And as an older woman I feel VERY comfortable going in for anything from remodeling needs to a new humming bird feeder for my 92 yr old Dad.

If you Value your safety, please DO NOT SHOP HERE! I came in today to buy some gardening stuff. While on the parking loti saw an employee approach a customer in a very aggressive mamner. He got right right n the customers face and threaten to pound him into the ground. The customer was calm and speaking to him nicely. The employee was yelling and screaming. I turned right around and left. Completely inappropriate. I was scared for my own safety

This is my go-to Ace location, despite it not being the closest compared to other Ace and big box locations. The ownership here has always been inviting, helpful, and when I used to have a commercial account, they were day-savers in countless situations. The shelves are always well-stocked and even when I just need a couple dollars in nuts and bolts the staff is helpful and what I need is always there.

Good Ace Hardware, it was easy to find any number of hundreds and hundreds of Home Improvement items and Hardware.

Every time we come here, we get welcomed and asked if we need help finding anything. Store is always clean and stocked and staff is always kind and helpful. Its a nice change from a lot of other stores these days. Thank you...well be back.

Personal service that shines. If I need something involved, or even a key that actually works in your lock, this is the place to go. Trying to find an unusual piece of hardware? Specialty items for your smoker? Furnace filtet? If I cant take an item in to find a replacement, I can show them a picture on my phone, and get the help I need.

As everyone should know by now find a face masks and gloves are nearly impossible. I go to this Ace hardware a minimum of four to five times a week spending thousands of dollars every year. I came to that store last week to pick up a very simple one item in and out done deal. as soon as I walked in the door I was met by for employees standing there with their hands in their pockets telling me that you need to wear a face mask in order to enter their store. Last I checked only thing I need to do is die and pay taxes. the fact that they think that they can speak to their customers in that way instead of offering them an option like oh we understand that you dont have an option to find a face mask right now so heres one on us. when I placed my opinion about the situation and how they were treating me I was immediately ejected from thefacility by people that were standing around with their hands in their pockets because they had no customers. I dont know about you but just because there is a pandemic does not give them the right to treat people that way. as many times as I go to this particular location you think theyd recognize me by now and understand that there are not whole lot of options as far as face masks are concerned at this point in time. Disgusting will never go there again

As a longtime rewards member ACE Hardware I have shopped at this Ace for 30+ years as the employees are generally helpful and knowable. That was not the case today. Prices are often higher than Home Depot or Lowes but generally the service and convenience make up for it. I purchased 3, 25 packs of Holiday light clips on close out yesterday and went home on put up the lights. I also had a 50 pack left from last year. This morning all of the clips and lights had fallen off the walls that were purchased from Ace. The lights put up with the 50 pack were still in place on the wall. When I went see what options there were I was told no refunds on close out items and if I wanted to go home and remove the 75 clips and bring them back they would then replace them. The clips take a lot of time to put the backing on each clip. Going home and taking the time to remove each of the 75 clips and bring them back to the store seemed absurd. Replacing something with more from the same batch of product also seems a recipe for failure. Perhaps if the clips were doubled and put on every 4” instead of every 8” the lights might have stayed up on the wall. This business has lost a long time customer over $7.50 and the inability to try to work out any type of reasonable solution.

Two elder Gentlemen helped me an elder women. They found the tiny tiny screw that I needed, a whole .26 cents worth ! The one had a cool sense of humor!! Was very funny!! I was disappointed that they did not have the gift shop. I love the Ace gift shops.

I love this place. Its been a big name in hardware for a very long time, but it has still managed to keep that mom and pop shop feel. The people who work there are so friendly and helpful that you feel like your talking to an old friend or neighbor. I hope that this place never changes its ways.

Very helpful and friendly staff! They have products I don’t see in other local stores (Wet ‘n Forget shower cleaner is awesome!) and there is always someone on staff to help me when I need it! This location has a fabulous selection of home and garden items, in addition to traditional hardware. Oh, and if you like pretzels, buy a bag of Dot’s, which are near the registers. Best pretzels I’ve ever had and I think Ace is the only local store that has them!

They refused to give me refund on paint rollers they sold me that did not fit roller they sold me. Not even a credit. Only use them because of location. Anything else ill go to lowes.

Been coming here for years. It truly is the helpful place. I always find exactly what I need and help/advice when I ask. From sprinkler repair to nuts & bolts for a custom project, its a one stop shop.

Just love the friendliness of a this store from a neighborhood aspect !!! Youll definitely find some gems of service people to help with your needs. The older men here really can help you by giving some wonderful advice on how to get your project going or shortcuts to simplify tasks (being many have done hsehld projects or did construction). Youll want to sign-up for those bonus discounts by means of your phone number when doing purchases to accrue a little savings pass on to you ,later down the road.

Just moved from Chicago, Illinois, where I frequented Ace Hardware stores. The Tamarac Square Ace in Denver scores high, real high in my estimation, and not just for the personal touch of employees plus the great selection but, there are caramels at the check out! Couldnt resist. Same Wisconsin dairy caramels at check outs in Illinois. Yum! Thanks for making me feel at home as I settle in. My mom and I went to get a key made..we were very excited to visit Ace Hardware for their great customer service and affordable prices. We were ignored when we approached the guy working the key desk. He could have said I will be right with you but we felt ignored so we walked out .. will go somewhere else to get our keys made!

They are always so helpful and friendly here and they are my go to for almost every repair I make since they will have the part 99% of the time. I despise big box stores, having an awesome Ace down the street has made projects and repairs painless!

I much prefer to hit up the neighborhood Ace where everyone’s friendly and I don’t drive but 1 mile to get all that I need. They expanded their store 2 years ago so now they have a wider selection.

I am greeted every. single. time. Amazing! Good selection, knowledeable and friendly people, good prices and free popcorn (in hardware section). I also recommend some of the small brands they carry--root beer and pretzels by the register.

You know, I try to support these smaller stores. But I have yet to understand if my chip isnt working on my card, that Im told I cant get what I planned on purchasing. EVERY single place has the capability of hand entering a card number, and every system I have ever seen has you swipe the card after having the chip not work 3 times in a row. Evidently their system most be way too old, or they just didnt know what to do, which is a shame because I planned on spending big money here. Oh well.

Had the worst experience here due to an employee named Jimmie. He was asked by another employee to help me in the paint section. As he walked up he was cursing under his breath saying the most inappropriate words. He was visible annoyed to help me. When I asked what was wrong he said clearly we are busy in here. As a healthcare worker Ive been dealing with so much stress during this time and would never ever ever say or take my stress or the busy environment out on anyone. I live in the area and will never go back.

Ive been to this location more times than I can count.They have a very nice staff, eager to help, polite, professional, and they seem to actually care about helping me get projects done. Everyone from the floor staff to the cashiers have a smile and genuinely seem to care, which is always nice.Good selection of overall hardware products for most projects. Some of their items are a bit pricier, but not a crazy rip-off or anything by any means. Just go elsewhere for some items, not a big deal.Good location.
