This is where we go every time we need a tool or piece to fix something. the staff are always helpful and direct us to wherever we need to go to find what we are looking for. i cant begin to count how many times weve been in and left with exactly what we needed!

So helpful! I brought in a broken dining chair that needed a few pieces for repair. Not only did Kyle help find the right pieces but he put the chair back together for me! I know this is not something they normally do at a hardware store and I really appreciated him going the distance. Thank you!

They were awesome. I came asking the employees to rig my bicycle handlebars so I can carry my basket and lift it off, take it in to shop with. Brandon and Max were eager and happy to help. And I left with a rigged out handlebar and the ability to use my bike basket.Creativity in the name of customer service makes for an Awesome Experience.

These guys know the whole store and are always eager to help you find an item. They carry a decent range of options for most tools so you can choose price or quality. They do not carry a whole lot in terms of power tools but they more than make up for it with hardware, electrical, home lighting, gardening, and cleaning supplies.

I go here a lot for parts for my bike screws etc. I asked them to come outside take a look. We go back in and I come out with what I need every time. This time I visited my throttle was coming off my bike. They had the perfect screw to fix it.

This is the best hardware store I’ve ever had the pleasure of shopping at. Every single time I go in I am greeted by happy helpful folks. I’ll walk in anxious about whatever project I’m starting and I’ll walk out feeling confident and like I’d just made friends. Seriously this place is so gosh dang great. Sure it’s smaller than other hardware stores and sure mostly you pick which hardware store you go to based on how close it is but honestly this one is TOP NOTCH. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

Great neighborhood hardware store. They have most everything, and the staff is very knowledgeable about most household repairs. Not the cheapest, but the service makes up for the premiums. Highly recommended!

The staff is always busy helping customers locate their products to purchase. One sales assistant is rather a chatty individual, he seems to be well knowledge in many departments. Watch batteries are always a tricky spot for me, but the gal that gave me some assistance pulled up the right numbers instantly. Thank you Ace Associates.

The manager matched a paint sample for me and did a really fantastic job. The machine was a bit off from the sample and he took the time to manually adjust the paint to get it just right.As a renter determined to get my damage deposit back, I cant tell you how much I appreciate the extra effort.

I’m new in town and was super happy to have an ace so close by.I wore my “abolish ice” mask into the store for the first time today and I was treated very differently than I usually am treated. I had several associates ignore me when I addressed them for assistance.I love to support small businesses. Not fascist ones though. Every other store on the block has been great and I’ll continue to give my business to them.

In store pickup made my purchase fast and safe. Ordered stuff online and picked up the next day.

Favorite hardware store mainly because the staff is so knowledgeable. I go here over Home Depot because the staff know exactly what I need for my projects even when I have a hard time explaining what Im doing. Plus they are the only place in town I can find masks.

Twelfth Avenue Ace Hardware is the hardware store that is closest to my home, and thus the most convenient when I need a light bulb or some new batteries for my tv remote. I have been there enough times over the years that I know my way around, even if I do have to ask for guidance sometimes. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and seem to know a lot about the stock, and the best ways to do what you are supposed to do with the various items from that stock. Theyve mixed a lot of paint for me over the years and have always gotten it right.

I prefer this store to any other hardware store around. Friendly staff and store setup makes this particular store seem more like a mom and pop shop than your average ACE. Only downside is the size of the store which limits what it has for stock, but if they have what I need I will always go here first before another ACE or Home Depot or Lowes.

A very special shoutout to Mark who assisted me today regarding a unique situation. I connected a portable dishwasher to two purchases, a (1) garden Y splitter, connected to a (2) sink adaptor with little information and knowledge provided by my end. It worked wonderfully, but I also trusted we would figure out alternatives if it didn’t work. Staff was very helpful and I will absolutely be back should I need any further assistance :)

Great neighborhood Ace Hardware! They are helpful, knowledgeable and know their stuff. Easy, convenient and they had exactly what I needed. And it didnt take three hours to find it or help unlike the big box stores where you can have twenty five employees pass you by and not once greet you , direct you or help you with your shopping/project needs. Definitely service oriented and a fun place to shop. Some say brick and mortar retail is dead. Ill still shop brick and mortar retailers that are vibrant and helpful. This is one of those retailers. Great experience!

Not entirely sure who I dealt with while looking for some folders (which they didn’t have) but he was extremely useless. He had a mopey and self entitled attitude that made me feel as if I was posing a burden on him while he sat on his phone behind the counter.I suggest the Ace on 9th and Corona.

Best Ace in Denver. I do everything here. Get keys made, purchase everything we need for our garden, etc. The staff is always nice and the prices are great. I even bought my wifes birthday present here. Great store and they let me bring the dog in sometimes. Thanks!

I don’t leave a ton of reviews but when someone is super outstanding, I have to call them out. I just moved in down the street and have been overwhelmed at the big box stores but Cady made me feel like family, even as I walked in 10 minutes before close. She was exceptionally helpful when I wasn’t sure what kind of paint and primer I needed to buy and went out of her way to walk me through it. I have a bunch of upcoming home projects and it’s nice to know I can lean on ACE employees like Cady!

Im so glad that the big boxes havent pushed out all the neighborhood hardware stores yet, I would much rather spend my money here. Theyve got a great selection for a small(ish) store, and the customer service is outstanding every time I go in. Today, I just needed a few screws and anchors, and the gentleman who helped me treated me as if I was making a huge purchase, when I only spent about a buck.

These are great people. They go out of their way to help you find what you need. They are in the middle of a great neighborhood with a lot of old houses and finding parts for those old houses can be tough. Whether its a particular screw or bolt or a particular tool thats needed they will help you find it. I highly recommend them.

Hardware stores can seem overwhelming. The employees at this Ace make it so much easier to find exactly what you need to fix any problem around the house. I was also able to make some keys and buy so mace just in case.

What i like about this neighborhood. Real services not just cool coffee bars.

Great neighborhood shop. They carry lots of older style plumbing and electrical things for all the older houses around here. The staff is very impressive with their knowledge of plumbing, paint, and electrical. They helped me through my entire kitchen remodel.

Service is consistently above and beyond. The employees here are eager to help and knowledgeable. Steve not only found the screws I needed but did the work for me. Exceptional service.

This place is very expensive. I have been shopping here for years, and they try to mask the fact that they are terrified of your stealing something with customer service. I have worked in the construction industry for 20 years, and having somebody hold my hand down the isle of a hardware store isnt my idea of a good time. They mostly cater to the needs of the older homes in the neighborhood, and they are not in any way a lumber hard. That being said, go here if you are too far away from the competition. It would be really great if the sky high prices were supporting a small business, but make no mistake, this is a corporate institution.

12th Avenue Ace is a wonderful store staffed by helpful and friendly people. You can drive to a big box store and get things a bit cheaper, but then youd be a schmuck! This place is a Wonderful asset to the neighborhood.

I have been in here at least 20 times in the last three months since I purchased my house. They are always helpful, give me good input on what I need, and Im in and out pretty quickly. Sometimes the staff seem a bit tired or worn out and arent super chipper, but who cares? Im not at my job either, I just want someone who can help me and get me in and out and on my way as soon as possible. I look forward to this being my local place to pick up what I need for my home projects.

Went in store looking for a very common drill bit. When I asked where they were located I was told they did not carry that particular item so I went with the guy to the section where the drill bits were located I found what I needed. Then when I was given the wrong price the employee insisted it was correct when it was not. I then had to show them the price and explain to them why it was equal to another and not the more expensive one. Left store very disappointed

This place has an amazing amount of almost anything one needs, for repair, maintenance and gardening. They also have everything for that perfect BBQ and outdoor yard party, from pest control to charcoal briquettes, as well as Frisbees, tennis balls and decks of playing cards. Need some Bling covered mace or just a keychain sized protection? Theyve got it! Chipped car keys can be copied as well as everyday house keys and beyond. And did I mention the extensive collection of repair items for your 100+ year old house that Home Depot wont carry? Theyve got it! Just like hardware stores? This place is a Toys R Us for adults! You should check it out!

I had a good experience here. They were helpful and were able to immediately provide me with the paint brushes, stepping stool and paint tape that I needed. It is smaller than other Ace stores, but I had a good customer service experience.
