Huge thanks to Matt for helping me with me with my first guitar. Im in it for the long haul and wanted a quality set up that will last me ages. He pointed me to very well reviewed products, and those that will be good for the genres I like. He played a few guitars for me to hear the difference since I obviously dont know how to play yet, and to point out the build quality. Im really happy with my new SE 245.

I should have just ordered off of Sweetwater.I excitedly went to the store about a week ago trying to get a pair of headphones it said they had in stock online, I was excited to be able to get something in store. After searching myself and have an employee and manager search for about 30 minutes, they werent able to find them, so we worked out getting one shipped into this store from another store. After another hour on the phone waiting for everything to work out, I finally have the headphones I wanted order, and told everything should be good to go since they had to contact the other store. It was a hassle and didnt seem like it was in the training. But the manager was there(blond dude) and assured me everything looked right, that the store should be shipping them in a day or two, and I should have them this week.. Turns out almost a week later, they are just now shipping the headphones from the initial. The shipping that I had to pay for. To send them to another store. Super disappointing.

Every time I go into this trash dump I am profiled and ignored. Ive even been ignored until I had to track somebody down to get something I had called about to purchase. The shock on the employees face when I told him what I was there to pick up spoke for itself. This time in particular was the worst. Followed by security ( not discretely) from the second I walked in and except for him I was completely I ignored for almost a half hour as I stood directly in front of the speakers I was hoping to purchase. Eventually I just left. Ill spend my money with another retailer and furthermore Im happy the company went bankrupt

This store is amazing. They must have an amazing manager because all of the employees I’ve worked with have been really patient, kind, and helpful. Also I was shopping there today and I noticed someone who seemed mentally ill because he was sitting by the guitar amps talking to himself and shredding his fingers making them bleed. The way the employee handled approaching and helping the guy was so incredibly nice and inspiring. I live closer to the Centennial store but I’ll always come to this store because its so impressive. Like last two times I went to the Centennial one all of the amps were in boxes and you couldnt really try out or look at anything.

I was in last week during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale and finally wanted to buy my first guitar. I had done a bit of research and found a used Epiphone ES 335 Pro from them in one of their CA stores. I ended up ordering it from them/had it shipped to this location with the help from Garrett, and purchased a Line6 amp as well while I was there based on his recommendations.The guitar showed up only a few days later and was not in the “good” condition that was stated on the website; it was in near-mint condition! Garrett was there when it showed up, helped me put some new strings on/tune it up, and get it fully shined up.Over the weekend, I ended up having a minor/common issue with the output jack loosening up on me. I headed back in where both Evan (guitar tech) and Kyle (store manager/ex-tech) ended up helping me out with it. The whole crew have helped me out tremendously. I’ll definitely be back in for other parts as needed, and to set up some lessons very soon. Thank you again!

I wanted to try out a vocal processor. That was the whole reason for actually stepping foot in there. The response I got was I dont have one set up. He then proceeded to put one on the counter for me to look at and went back to his gossip session with another employee. There were like two other people in the whole store besides myself and my wife and kids. So my thought was, then why not set one up so I can try it? I went home and bought one on Amazon. Bummer. I wanted to use it on my gig tonight. Instead Ill just wait and use it next week. Customer service, folks. If your employees dont understand it, then they dont need to be on your payroll. The reason for giving it three stars was the woman who was running the lessons was super nice and encouraging when approaching my family about lessons. If I didnt already have them enrolled in private lessons I might have bit. Good job from her. Super poor job from the guy at the pro audio desk.

Went in to look for a couple pedals, and and when I couldnt find one I was looking for, I approached Riley. He was an absolutely wonderful person to chat withe chat with and told me straight up about which models are in store and available right now and which ones are not available. Walk out of there with a wawa pedal and he was able to explain some of the problems and how to circumvent them. Thank you!

Ordered a New Marshall Amp and im not quite sure what i received... There was no Marshall packaging, no power cord, owners manual, no nothing but the amp itself. The customer service agent told me to bring the amp to the nearest guitar center to resolve the issue. I think i paid full price for an amp and got the used, no box special. Meanwhile, Im just like what the hell man, Ive been waiting to play a tube amp forever!

A surprising twist to big-name stores, the employees here are willing to help you find what you need even if they dont carry it. The staff are all super cool and love talking about everything music.They suggested other, unaffiliated stores because it fit my needs better than what Guitar Center had to offer. They lost a sale that day but gained a returning customer. Thank you for the honesty!

Super sketchy didn’t give me my full amount back on my return. The person I spoke to when purchasing never told me that I won’t receive my shipping money back. And then when I come to realize they are no help. They don’t care about the customer. Will never shop here again. They took 100$ from. Thanks guitar center.

My grandson loves to visit. The practice room in back affords the chance to blow off steam and create. Personnel are wonderful!

First time in a guitar center to get my wife’s new guitar fixed. Danny could not have been friendlier, helpful and welcoming. For an $.97 new string I learned more than I ever knew (not much) about a guitar and was taken care out of a genuine interest in a craft. I don’t know…I didn’t think that existed anymore. What a delight today.

It was cool but they lock up all the guitars now so you have to get an employee which is annoying and, most likely, annoying for them as well. I do understand why they are locking them up now and since I cant rate the thieves that changed the stores policy to what it has become, I had to take a star away from Guitar Center themselves... And one more thing, I would really like for Guitar Center to offer DJ lessons like they do guitar lessons or drum or trumpet lessons.... That would be super dope...

I have always wanted to learn to play guitar. Finally at 52 I decided to just do it. I’m already a singer, sax player and recently taught myself how to play harmonica so I knew a little about what I wanted in a guitar. I just needed some help getting the right one for my play style. I stopped in here after doing some research on line and the service was spectacular! No joke! The young guy who helped me was very knowledgeable and played a few licks for me on the guitar I ended up selecting and he and the instrument sounded great. I beat the kid up pretty good on price but he stood his ground. The store manager finally offered to let me pick any guitar strap at no charge. That was all I needed to feel like I got a deal and I walked out of there happy as hell with my new Gibson SG, amp and accessories. Thanks to the salesperson and the manager BIG TIME for the help. I went to get a trombone for my teenage daughter as a surprise. In my 10 minutes in the store I was asked by 3 people if I needed help. I was helped right away. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Everyone one was nice. Now thats the way to run a business. They all deserve a raise, I will definitely recommend this place.

Really good experience. Preston was on it. He was definitely busy and was multitasking with customers and staying point the whole time.I felt he was honest and helpful and lead me to the right direction for a first guitar.Looking forward to picking up some new skills.Will definitely return.

It was great! Cant remember the name of the guy who helped us. But he was great giving us some info for some speakers for our church. It was busy but he took care of us and other people almost at the same time. Not kidding!!

Had to wait quite a bit before i got asked if I needed some help (once I got help it was great).. First time buying a musical instrument (i dont know how to play, but theyre going to be wall decorations (a guitar, a base, saxophone, trumpet and a violin); And to learn how to play itll be a keyboard/piano and i did walk out buying a snare drum al8ng with its stand/base, two piano books, Maracas, Tambourine and drum sticks. [Ill be back next week to actually buy a guitar]

I’ve been to many Guitar Centers - all locations in Colorado, and locations in quite a few different states - sometimes to shop, sometimes just to kill time and browse. I have got to say that this location has the BEST management and sales team I’ve encountered at any of the locations I have been to, and one of the best management / sales teams in any retail store I’ve ever been into. They’re welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, passionate, helpful, patient, professional, and sincerely enjoy interacting with customers. The team at this guitar center, including folks like Kyle, Matt, Becca, Dex, and Noah truly make shopping here a pleasure (I know I’m leaving out a few names but everyone there truly is great). I’ve bought quite a few guitars and guitar accessories here, and other things like books about guitar / music, vinyl records, and I’ve always felt like I was in a truly local guitar store, and not some big box chain. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the market for a guitar, pro audio, or drums. Top notch!

The gear they have at this location is the best that the guitar center franchise has in Denver and surrounding areas. If youre a musician its the one youre gonna want to go to. Staff is knowledgeable but moody at times, but hey were all musicians and are known to be moody haha decent store though! Id stop by again for sure.. v

I dont know whats more impressive; the huuuge inventory, or the customer service. It feels like the whole team will go out of their way to take care of you. Matt deserves a special shout-out, he helped meet my needs and was very kind to me. All in all, a solid location.

This music store is Giant and has lots of helpful people around to assist you and there was even a nice lesson going on and they sounded great. My only complaint is they are not centrally located. Well they have plenty of parking and lots of guitars to truly be Central they would have to be at Broadway and Ellsworth. I am a stickler for details like this, but if guitars are your thing or musical instruments by all means check them out

Very little inventory and less knowledge. Zero Fender Custom Shop Guitars and not much of anything else. Good place to go if you need picks.

I frequent this location and never have I had a terrible experience. The employees never seem over worked or stressed and that energy relays into customer experience. For that, Im grateful. Not to mention, these employees KNOW what they are talking about. Just ask abd you will get a plethora of information. Abd if they dont know, they will find out for you. Keep up the great work.

Just picked up this beautiful used Ibanez guitar. I’m traveling across the country and needed something to do in my down time. Everyone was very nice even though they were busy. No one was pushy in sales. Perry, Dan and another younger guy all helped me out. The younger dude even played the guitar for me so I could hear it and see that all was working properly. Went in search of acoustic sound panels because the website said they have them. Was sadly disappointed and nearly insulted when the Tech told me that I should go to some sketchy website and order it from them. If I wanted to order from an online sketchy website I would, but you would figure a Guitar Center, someone that specializes in music and sound would have at least the basic equipment.

A wonderful place to visit. They have all kinds of instruments from string to African Drums to percussion. Took my son down there to pick out an instrument. Too much video gaming, zoom meetings and watching movies turning your child into an apocalyptic zombie? Make them learn something new. He picked out a keyboard that operates like a bag pipe. Oxygen helps calm the brain. Even came with a case. This store is full of professional musicians who give great advice. I was very impressed. Go see all the harmonicas in different keys. Theres even one with blues notes that comes with a case and free online classes.

Guitar Center is one of my favorite places to be!! Just wish i coukd do a shopping spree there!! Haha prices are too high youre better off on Reverb..more selection too. Sure wish i had that shopping spree for free though...

Friendly people and a great service.

Super disappointed with the service. Especially after reading other reviews about how helpful everyone was. That wasnt our experience at all.My wifes bass recently bit the dust and she needed a new one. We couldve easily purchased online but she insisted on going to Guitar Center because she wanted assistance in choosing. We dont have a music store in our area so we had no choice but to travel.Upon entering, we were promptly greeted. Which was nice. When my wife asked about bass guitars we were simply pointed to a wall. We walked over and began looking. No one offered to help.We had to pull up the website to get any specs whatsoever. Many of the new guitars were damaged. She found one she thought she liked. It felt good, but she still had questions. Guitar Center had nobody to answer the questions.We even walked around with the Guitar asking if anyone worked there. We were ignored.Frustrated, she decided to get it anyway but she also needed a tuner. We approached the checkout counter and asked where we might find them. Again, we were simply pointed in a direction. No assistance offered at all.More frustrated, we just wanted to get out of there. When we went to pay, we asked if there was a box or anything. We had a 4 hour trip home and wanted to keep it protected. The guy at the counter told us he didnt have a box or anything but he could offer us a warranty for an extra $60.At the same time, a gentleman next to us was buying an acoustic guitar and the person checking him out asked if he could get him a box or something to keep his safe. I looked at our cashier and he just once again offered to sell me a warranty.We left with no box. No wrapping. Nothing to protect our investment. Also, no manual even though Ibanez specifically said the retailer is required to provide one.I dont know why we were treated this way. Maybe they just dont take female musicians seriously? My wife was super disappointed after talking so highly of Guitar Center.This is why retail is dying. No one provides service anymore. We would have been better off going to Musicians Friend. Next time we will.

I went in looking for an amp for an old bass I had, and ended leaving with a new bass (the other one was a dud). The sales guy (sorry I cant remember your name!) was extremely helpful, didnt try to hard sell, and gave me very practical tips and input. I love my bass, and practicing with it has become my outlet. Im glad I went in on a whim.

(I think his name is Phil) but the guy with super curly black hair is awesome. I came in today, about to buy stuff that wasnt necessary, and he was able to show me some (more useful) alternatives to what I was looking for. He explained thoroughly how it worked, and was really nice about everything.I really appreciate how patient and thorough he was with everything. He even invited me back to the store in case I had any questions later, which is pretty rare in retail.I know for sure Ill be loyal to this store now.(I also was lucky to be able to find some really good used gear. Im super happy with my purchases.)

Noah is the man! We walked in needing a midi controller and he was super knowledgeable, friendly and even gave us tips for setting it up. And he has cool hair!! This is the kind of customer service I love and wish existed everywhere. Guitar Center should give him a raise!

Nothing too special. One of the smaller Guitar Centers I have been to across the country. They have some nice Les Pauls. The guitar and bass amps were just okay. Nothing to mind blowing and staff were pretty nice. Overall good store but not great.

Caleb from the Denver, CO Music Store was super helpful when I ordered a Taylor guitar for my husband. I tried numerous times to order the guitar from the call center and did not receive the assistance I needed to complete the order. Caleb went out of his way to physically check that the guitar was in stock, inspected that it was in perfect condition, and shipped it to the store close to my home. After going through so many failed attempts, Caleb was super responsive, friendly and professional. I recommend this store and if youre looking for someone knowledgeable in guitars, make sure to ask for Caleb.

Well Im glad to know that now that before I should ever consider stepping foot in a guitar center or any music store for that matter if I want to consider buying any drum equipment or anything drum related that I should probably take at least two to five years of drumming classes per se the guy that I talked to that works there in that department after asking questions about wanting to buy a electronic drum set I was further instructed I should probably go take 5 years of drumming before considering purchasing anything basically.This coming from the same guy a couple days before that told me that they could not get me a product that was out in their store at another store in the area and then I called the other store and they had it on hand for me in 20 minutes.

After a bit of a quest, ended up getting my dream guitar shipped from here to my home in MS. It was beautiful as promised and I am totally in love. The manager Becca was extremely awesome to deal with and so was everyone else up here that i spoke with! Big shoutout to the VP Rick for making it happen! They fought for my business and that shows the true nature of the company! Thank you guys so much, im super stoked and working on recording some ideas I have had for years!

I really only deal w the repair team but they helped me find a rare screw for tuning keys on an old Japanese Teisco guitar. Not only were they quick, the screws match exactly, which is ideal for a vintage repair. Much appreciation!

Ordered a loudspeaker online, early in the a.m., needed for a gig this weekend. I drove from Fort Collins to pick it up at the store. They only had the floor model. Gigantic waste of time and energy, and Ill be playing the show with one powered speaker. Thanks.

Ive been aching to have a real reason to be in this Guitar Center since I was a kid. And I finally had a reason to be in there today. Im an up and coming producer and I honestly had little to no clue what I needed. I came with questions and not a lot of money, but a very cool level headed cat helped my spaz a** figure things out and gave me some pointers.
