I called at 3:09 to ask about their next appointment for an oil change and he told me if I could make it within the next 30 minutes he could get my car in. I got here in 9 minutes, he was very nice and asked if my car was having any other issues. ( it is... it dies at times as I’m driving it, but engine light doesn’t turn on so it’s hard for a diagnostic to be run) it also has a light on for the wipers/water. He said he would take a look at it and fill it up if needed; as well as checking if anything shows up as sometimes it can be throwing signals without the engine light having to be on. I’m very happy with their fast, friendly, humble, and honest business.

Brian and Mike were great! They rebuilt the C4 on my 1966 mustang, taking extra steps to explain the process, source some offbeat parts, and did follow up adjustments after the fact. The pricing was fair and comparable after I did a lot of calling around in the Denton area. I’m comfortable that I could come back with any follow up issues, but I don’t expect to. As a “car guy” with several vehicles (newer and older) that I work on personally, I wouldn’t hesitate to bring any of them to Youngman’s.

Gave me my vehicle back with check engine on for the o2 sensor connection that they touched during the repair. After extra diagnosing they Tried to quote me $1,000+ to remove exhaust manifold and replace the sensor. Of course they say ItS nOt OuR fAuLt. I took it somewhere else and they figured out the wire leading to the connection for the o2 sensor got yanked and disconnected the wire. Thx for being thorough master transmission!!! Almost making me waste another $1,000 with yall to fix the problem you created.

I had an outstanding experience with Master Transmission. I have been burned many times in the past by shade tree mechanics. Master Transmissions gave me a price that sounded a little too good to be true, regardless we did not have the money to argue because the price was in our budget. They did the work in a timely matter, did an excellent job on the work itself and never backed out of the quote they gave me. All in all very satisfied.

Went in thinking my transmission was shot. Ended up being the ujoints and rear differential..Still a pricy fix but much cheaper than a new transmission. Honest guys and reasonably priced. Ill be back for sure

In Sept 2018 I had a transmission rebuilt by these guys and because Im disabled and on a low income they understood, and trust me...they saved me a lot of money, did a professional job and gave me the best guarantee offered. Then one month later I lost my right front end on 380 n. I called them again and they towed it to their shop and had it rebuilt the next day redoing it with all the same understandings as the first. I was very thankful for all they did.Yes I recommend them highly....!!!

Do not take your car for transmission work!!!!! I repeat.....do not do it. This shop replaced my transmission in February. After doing the work, the car did not accelerate properly in which I had to return the car on 2 more separate occasions. Needless to say a month or so down the line I had a check engine light (CEL) issue in which after paying well over $2200.00 to troubleshoot the issue we found that they damaged my wiring harness which in turn damaged my PCM costing $1300.00 to correct the issue. When I called them to explained what happened they found every reason under the sun to rule out that their work caused the problem. I explained that I have pictures of the damaged wiring harness. The shop owner basically stated that because other shops looked at the car that they are not responsible. Please avoid this place at all cost. They will only continue to repeat just bring it up here and we will get it fixed. They were very unprofessional and only made matters worse after working on my car. Enter at your own risk. The only reason they have good reviews is because they offer this as a bargaining chip for an extra year of warranty in which you will need it after their mechanics work on your vehicle.

These guys have been nothing but helpful. They came and got our broke down suburban, did an initial diagnostic, a more in-depth diagnostic, and got us a quote all in one day. A couple of days later, it was ready for us to bring home. They even helped us with different financing options by putting us in contact with some places that we could work with to make the burden a little easier. They really know their stuff and will go out of their way to do what they can to get you back on the road.

Im very satisfied with the customer service that was provided to my Lincoln Navigator. It was giving me problems and I was told by different shops many different things yet no one was able to fully repair it. Finally I came across these guys and immediately the master technician was able to diagnose the issue, and get a simple sensor repaired within hours. Went to Master Transmission thinking I was gonna have to spend over $5000 for a new transmission. I was clueless. So imagine how relieved I was when they said it didnt need a transmission and the repair actually only cost me around $400!!! Yall, they could have taken me to the cleaners, but they were honest and only had me spend what I had to so I could get back on the road. Hands down they made a bad situation good.

I hate transmission shops, but I think I finally feel confident in my buddies recommendation. Ive been taken before by a transmission shop(that is now out of business) and it sucks. I went to the dealer so that I would feel confident that it would be done right. Unfortunately, I could not afford the $5,496.78 quote that they gave me. My buddy sent me over to Dave and Richard to get my truck checked out. I saved almost $2000 and my truck works good as new. I like those guys, but hopefully this is the last time I see them! 😉

I have to say, when my car wouldnt go in reverse on new years day was a big bummer but sure enough master transmission said bring it in first thing the next morning and we will HELP. When you hear we will help you never picture REAL HELP, but as soon as they found the problem, it was fixed with in a great timely matter!!! About a year and a half ago had issues with my trans in 05 Dodge. Master Trans rebuilt it and all was good. Then the other day it quit me again. Called Richard and they got right on it. This place did an amazing job on my vehicle (08 Chrysler Sebring). I was sceptical at first because of the good prices. But they truly want your car to be in good quality condition. Master Transmission is a scam and fraud. Please dont believe all the 5 star comments. These people are forced to make 5 star comments in exchange for a reduced cost. Dave and the fat handicap manager gave me that same offer but I declined. honesty pays!

So absolutely stunned this place is still in business! They supposedly rebuilt the transmission and charged thousands of dollars only to damage more parts while they were at it. Said it was ready to pick up and when went to pick it up there was another issue and then another. Thought they could be trusted as they have been in business for a while! Had to take vehicle to another shop who had to replace all sort of parts that were damaged and clearly the transmission was not rebuilt! Very shady! Stay clear! What could have been a simple repair turned into a nightmare! Now having to pay over $5000 just to get it fixed, out the $3000 for a 10 year warranty transmission rebuild! Rebuild haha more like transmission destroy! All we asked was for them to refund what they didnt rebuild and no response! Now they simply dont answer phone calls! Anyone else have $3000 to throw away??? Then this is your place! For the rest of us single parents who do all they can to make ends meet, thanks for screwing us over and lying to us!! After looking at Reviews and arrest records of Howard David Yeubanks he is NOT to be trusted. Has opened other transmission companies, claimed warranty, conned people out of thousands of dollars and then closed shop only to open another and claims that his employees are certified.

Scam! Sounded really friendly and like a good deal but then once they have your transmission open (500$ for labor) then they find all these problems and tell me I might as well fix it since Im already paying for the labor. Even though one of the problems they mentioned with the axel you would be able to see without opening the transmission. The receipt did not break down how much for what they did buy they quoted me for 400-600$ and of course it came out to 600$ even. Not coming back!

We have a 69 mustang that needed a new transmission. They came and picked it up, fixed it and delivered it to my house. Unfortunately it still leaked but they came and picked it up again, fixed it and again delivered it to my house. That is great customer service and I would definitely recommend and use them again.

Do not go here! There people are liars and crooks. They told my friend they would finance a transmission repair, did the repair them said they wouldnt finance and he had to pay $1000 more than the estimate. Said the damage was more extensive than expected. They threatened to tow his car and sell it so he had to get a quick pay day loan. Then they wouldnt give him the $100 referral reward when his brother had transmission work done there, liars and crooks.

Scam artists plain and simple. Discovered Master Transmission online and since theyre located near me, I brought my 2001 Hyundai Elantra in to have them check it out, as it had been shifting erratically every now and then -- huge mistake. I did some research on the problems I was having and determined it was likely a faulty speed sensor, and mentioned this to the manager and the mechanic on duty. After driving the car for about 15 minutes, they determined there was a major problem with the transmission and that theyd have to open up the transmission to diagnose it. Believing these guys to be trustworthy, honest people I allowed them to proceed with the diagnosis (a $400 expense). A few days later the manager calls- apparently the transmission needs to be completely rebuilt and its going to cost me $2500. At this point my options are to eat the cost of the diagnosis and try to take it elsewhere for a second opinion or to bite the bullet and proceed with the repairs. I decide to go ahead with the transmission rebuild and (begrudgingly) fork over the $2500, a huge amount of money for an already struggling college student. A week or so later I get another call from the manager-- my car is ready to be picked up. Great! I thought. This was incredibly expensive but at least now my car will function as it should --not the case. After driving the car for less than 12 hours, it began to shift erratically. Again. THE EXACT PROBLEM I HAD BEFORE TAKING IT IN WAS HAPPENING AGAIN- NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER. At this point, Im irate-- what did I just pay over two thousand dollars for???? The repairs they supposedly performed were under warranty, so I took the car back in and explained what was happening. A few days later, another call from the manager-- Hey weve got your car ready to go, turns out it was just a speed sensor acting up so we went ahead and replaced it. I cant believe what Im hearing-- is this guy really telling me that the SAME SENSOR THAT I INITIALLY BELIEVED TO BE THE PROBLEM WAS ACTUALLY THE PROBLEM THE WHOLE TIME AND ID BEEN DUPED OUT OF $2500???? I go back to pick the car up and am obviously upset. I demand the manager show me physical proof that the transmission legitimately needed to be replaced, proof that I hadnt just been scammed out of a huge sum of money-- to no avail. He obfuscated and told me that they dont keep those kind of records and that the faulty parts had already been thrown away-- according to him there was absolutely no way he could prove to me that I had paid for a necessary repair. PLEASE AVOID MASTER TRANSMISSION AT ALL COSTS!! Learn from my experience and, if youre ever faced with a transmission issue, talk to friends and family-- get recommendations and references and make sure youre dealing with an honest person or establishment. I learned this the hard way-- you dont have to.

Do not use these crooks. Run away as fast as you can. I paid them to disassemble my transmission and see what was wrong ($300). They opened it up and said it was trashed and needed lots of parts to repair and would be $1500.00 to fix.I took my box of parts to another shop and was told the only problem was that a $40.00 part inside failed. Had them overhaul the transmission for $500. These are the type of people that give transmission shops a bad name.

This place is a scam, they will take your transmission apart just to diagnosis it and charge you over $2000 to repair it and it could be a minor transmission problem but they will tell you they have to open it up to see what the problem is. My car was minor (all I needed was a sensor fixed) and I took it to them they took it apart. After they repair it; 3 weeks later the transmission was completely mess up if you want to know the whole story, please look at the Mary P review on bing network. it explain everything my mother and I went thru with this place.

You will be pleasantly surprised, by their honesty and integrity. I am not a mechanic, but just like you... can and do read reviews so continue on reading. Most automatic transmissions have over 800 parts with various replacement costs. Let me ask you, “How can anyone give an honest estimate with only a computer diagnostic, not knowing the parts that need to be replaced?” Answer: “They CAN NOT honestly. If it were possible you would have gone to AutoZone, right? Only by opening up the transmission and examining the individual components can they determine what needs to be replaced, and then can tell how much it will be to repair, replace, or rebuild.I trust Firestone, a lifelong customer. They referred me to Eagle in Denton who gave me and estimate of $3,400 - $3,700 with only a computer diagnostic saying the transmission would need to be rebuilt. This did not sound right to me even understanding rebuilt is a loose term. When I balked, they offered to check around with other Eagles to see if they could help me out a little. They even considered purchasing my vehicle if I did not want repair it. WTF did that mean? Would I see my old car for sale for twice the repair cost in two weeks on their lot?I sent my car over to Master Transmission of Corinth, they did a diagnostics test and as well said likely a transmission rebuild was needed, but could not determine to what extent the damage was without first performing internal inspection of the components. Therefore, they could not quote a repair. I need to know dollars before I can commit to costly repairs on a vehicle that is 12 years old, but has sentimental value. There is a price just to find out the working condition of cars, just as there is a price for an inspection for a home right?The more I read about transmission shops, the more upset I was getting. Finally, I decided to end the mystery and had these guys do an inspection... they did. The bottom line is the repairs that were made totaled more than $1600, and I paid $1600 which is almost $2000 less than what Eagle quoted. You can trust Master Transmission of Corinth, and I am on my way up to Firestone with a stack of Master Transmission of Corinth business cards to strongly suggest they not refer anyone else to Eagle of Denton if they want to continue servicing the Smith Family Fleet of Vehicles, and yes there are a lot of us.
