I went to the Salon in Ulta to get a hairstyle change. I’d been growing out a mullette and got tired of the length so I made an appt same day & was able to get in with Stephanie B. Dont go here!!! I was basically racially profiled and insulted this morning by something that was done on the fault of an employee at this store! Her name is Neely and I told her to remove some items from my purchase and she removed the item but neglected to remove it from my total. I had to come back the next day (today) and explained what happened. They did not believe me, despite me having the bag with all of the items and the receipt showing the 7th item she charged me for but did not put in the bag! They had me waiting for 15 minutes since they had to check the camera, where is the customer trust, Ulta?!! Me being Muslim, brown and a woman, I for sure felt like they were thinking I was not telling the truth! All of this over a measly $8 palette! Knowing if I was named Susan with pasty white skin, they would not have done this. I will never be shopping with them again. This is why Sephora constantly proves to be their superior!

Bought a few small things at store#187 in Addison, TX today. At checkout, cashier Neely asked for my phone# to begin the procss. I told her I didnt want to give out my phone# so please skip this part. She saidOK, just so you know you wont be able to return anything without your phone number. I said thats nonsense but OK. Cshier Neely got quiet.As a public company, its dangerous that in order to get customers persoanl information, the store employees dare to lie about the company return policies. Where does this madness end?

There are some rude women working here. I can never understand why people work in customer service to act stuck up and rude. Like you are to serve customers and treat them with kindness. Also none of them knew where the products were in the store smh, and it’s really sad. Never Dominga back to this store I rather go to the one at north park than at this location.

The staff did not acknowledge me when i walked in and were very unfriendly. they were all talking in this little groups and when i came up to ask a question about where a brand was they just pointed me in the direction and i couldnt find it. they had nothing better to do so they shouldve took me to it. i ended up not getting anything because i couldnt find it and they obviously didnt want to help. i will not be coming back.

If you need absolutely anything hair, ask for Kirsten! I came in with faded blue-ish greenish nasty hair that kinda had me looking like old Greg and left with the prettiest shade of silver blue! She’s also so sweet and funny, probably one of the best hair appointments I’ve had in my life.

I love this Ulta. Everyone that works there is very helpful and amazing. The store is clean and laid out so great making it easy to find all the beauty products I need.

There was an asian man that worked there that I KNOW was profiling me because of all the tattoos I have. He asked me 4 times if I needed help while he followed me around the store. Doesnt he have something to stock or ho look for people who are really there to shoplift. This hasnt happened to me in years. Will definitely ho to a different location next time.

Called and scheduled a haircut last minute, and Dee took care of me. She was very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with her while she cut my hair. I came in with hair reaching the middle of my back and wanted a long bob with the front being slightly longer than the back. She delivered! I am very excited about my new look, and my fiancé loves it too! Couldn’t have had a better experience working with Dee! Thank you!!

It’s no Sephora. The one on Preston and Forrest lane is always out of makeup. Restock more often especially on the products that go quickly. Also the employees like to chitchat with each other instead of helping customers. If you like shopping in a place where no one asks to help you and shelves are empty weeks at a time come here. .

This has become my favorite Ulta go shop at. Im close to the North Park location, but this one is so nice to be in and a comfortable environment. The staff is incredibly friendly and they always personalize the experience. It is nice to go into a store and feel welcomed especially when it comes to a makeup store. The ambiance and staff are usually patronizing or ignore you. These people make an impact while youre in the store. They are always willing to stop whatever theyre doing to assist you. I love that! Thats tremendous! I come in a like to peruse the prestige side and they never look at my son and I swatching the colors on our hands. Definitely stop by if you visit the shopping center.

I dont usually buy or wear makeup but I decided dont knock it till you try it right? So I researched some basic, quality, natural looking stuff to experiment with and called this store. The person that answered the phone (who I later found was named Ophelia/Ofelia) helped me figure out a couple of the products I was looking for, recommending things when what I wanted wasnt available (apparently glossier is online only most of the time) and when I came in she helped me find them, despite being clocked out, which I thought was super neat of her. She was super friendly, charismatic, and paid attention to me despite being off the clock.As someone who works in retail I really appreciate that kind of thing, so 5 stars lol

I made an appointment with Chelsea for a haircut and the experience was wonderful. Shes such a sweetheart and listened to exactly what I wanted done. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning for future haircuts!

I had a really great first time salon experience here. After not having a cut since January, I needed a good one along with a style. While not too picky, I let Dee do her own thing and what she thought was best for my face. She did such a wonderful job! Probably one of the best cuts I’ve ever had. I will be back! Thanks, Dee!

I purchased a palette and it was wrapped for sanitation, which I appreciate. After opening to make sure it was ok, one of the pans was shattered. Associates helped me exchange it, and were very welcoming. Thank you!

My bestfriend and I literally visit this Ulta almost every other weekend. EVERYBODY at this location that weve ever encountered (the entire weekend staff basically) is awesome! Literally the employees will help you figure out your makeup needs/wants for as long as it takes and very professional while assisting you. They dont have a problem double checking in the back for a product unlike some places that just tell you we are out and they restock very quickly when if sold out! We highly recommend this location!

I stopped by the store yesterday and Ace did a great job helping me find a new foundation and concealer (best friend said my skin looked phenom). He also educated me on the blue hue. Thanks again!

The MAC associate was so knowledgeable and friendly, she found the appropriate products for my wife in particular. Very short in her questions to ensure she knew what my wife wanted but also able to suggest what would work best for her skin/features. She was well versed in products around the entire store too.

I went to this location looking for some concealer. The reason why I’m giving more than one star is because of one guy that helped me with my decision. I hate that I didn’t get his name. He was super helpful and kind.So now I’m ready to purchase and the cashier, Jarelyn, was rude. I walked up to her and said hello. Instead of acknowledging my greeting, she ignored me and called up a coworker just because she wanted his presence there. Her words not mine. They were having a whole conversation about her shift being over in 4 minutes. Maybe that’s why she was being so ill-mannered, but that shouldn’t be an excuse. She didn’t ask how I wanted my receipt and turned away from me to continue her conversation with a coworker. Very poor customer service. She didn’t even provide the bare minimum. I mean a simple acknowledgement of my greeting would’ve been sufficient. It turned me off from this location completely.

I saw Stephanie on Thursday 12/12/19 for a hair and makeup appointment. She is SO amazing! I had a loose idea of what I wanted for my formal christmas party and she went above and beyond what I was imagining! I got so many compliments all night! Everyone said they loved my hair or that I looked beautiful and it gave me a much needed confidence boost. NO ONE could tell they were clip-ins! My hair looked so beautiful and it stayed put from 2pm to midnight when I (sadly) had to undo it before bed! She was very professional the entire time but also kept a good flow of conversation and I greatly enjoyed not only Stephanie, but the other Ulta employees that were working around us! Everyone was so nice! With the makeup she seemed to read my mind on exactly what I wanted and I completely put my trust in her to do her thing and just make me pretty. I was not disappointed! She gave me a few tips on how to apply my makeup and I ended up buying quite a few things after seeing how nice it looked on me! To the Ulta employees: From the two women who helped me with deciding on which tape-Ins to get (and were quite hilarious when doing so) to the man who did the consultation with me and helped me iron out exactly what I wanted to do to Stephanie who helped me feel confident and beautiful on my special night out and the other women who “ooh’d and aah’d” as they walked by I thank all of you for loving what you do and showing that through your work with me and other clients. Keep being amazing!

My experience is with the salon, specifically with Irina.I haven’t had my hair colored in nearly 3 years but I had been going to Irina for cuts. So when I went to get my hair colored I was nervous.To be honest, the way it came out, I wasn’t happy with it. It didn’t look how I envisioned and I was disappointed.But this review is for Irina for what she did next which was very sweetly asjust the color to what made me happy. I wasn’t mad at her nor was a angry about my hair. I was just disappointed at the result.But Irina was understanding and adjusted the color to perfection. I can’t express how great it is and how happy I am with it now.If you want to get your hair done, see Irina. She is sweet and understanding and will help you.

Love this store && all the brands it provides. Always super clean && they normally always have my products in stock.I feel like this store has more to offer than Sephora!The only down fall is the lines can back up a little but where doesnt that happen.Customer service is hit or miss, some days they are super helpful while others not so much.

Always seem to get a cashier that acts like they have a stick up their rear. I get a nice cashier on occasion, but its rare. If you dont like retail dont work in retail. I am getting to were I prefer online shopping. The floor staff is nice and attentive.

This is the worst Ulta I’ve been in. Workers are rude and short with you. If you have questions about a product or price they won’t help you and will have you hunt down and figure it out yourself. Store isn’t fully stocked either. Go to another Ulta, or better yet, Sephora if you want good service and stocked products. It doesn’t take much to be at least somewhat decent & helpful to your customers.

Went in for a few items and of course had to look at the rest of the makeup while I was there. There werent many people working and I wanted to try some makeup on but couldnt find the sanitizer...Go looking for someone and the only woman on the floor was doing her own makeup and couldnt be bothered to help. This was a little upsetting, but no big deal I just didnt get the makeup. The associate in the salon was super helpful and helped me pick out a curling wand for my hair type so she saved the experience for me. Ill probably go to Sephora for my makeup purchases but may visit again for hair care products.

The past few times I’ve been here recently it’s been very difficult to get anyone to help me. No one greeted me when I came in. Multiple workers passed me without checking whether I needed help (which I did). I always end up standing around waiting for help. Even when you do get help the workers just kind of leave you hanging there. I was told I couldn’t receive a sample of MAC foundation if there aren’t any MAC artists currently on duty, even though not even a week earlier I received a MAC foundation sample from a non-MAC artist at this exact same location. Not helpful at all. No one even recommended a substitute foundation when I couldn’t be helped.

I love this ulta! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!

I have shopped here for several years. After today I will NEVER set foot in here again. I entered the store with a cart with several items in bags purchased elsewhere as I didnt have a car with me. Carrying these items is difficult due to some physical limitations I have. Several minutes in to my visit, an employee who looked like she was dressed for Halloween approached me and informed me I could not have the cart in the store. A complaint to at the checkout resulted in a pathetic Im sorry. Zero accommodation was made. No offer to put my things elsewhere, nothing. As a result I was unable to complete my shopping.Note to whoever: not everyone with physical limitations relies on a wheelchair. Not everyone with physical limitations has a car so we must bring items with us. I would suggest additional training for this particular employee.

I have been going to this store regularly for the last several months. I never thought I would be an Ulta shopper but I definitely will keep going back! Everyone I have talked to has been extremely helpful and nice. Chris is an amazing color specialist and treats his employees great! If you havent been in a while, you should definitely go back! I have never been disappointed!

Janet is Deva curl certified, and is amazing with what she does! She listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, and gave me the best curly cut. Will definitely be going back!

This location never has anything Im looking for. Im not sure how much inventory this store receives, but I usually have to go to another store to find what I need. Most of the displays are empty, and dont get restocked for weeks. Youre better off going to Walmart next door for any drugstore products.

I’ve had consistently poor customer service here. The tellers are just incompetent. I once had a cashier jump between me and another customer. I had questions, and every time I would try to ask them, she’d jump to the other customer. This location is so not worth the hassle. Honestly, just shop online and save yourself the headache.

Pretty decent store but employees don’t ever seem to communicate to customers or at least ask anything.. at least the inventory isn’t low unlike some Ultas I’ve been to.

Product is often out of stock, but the worst part is the customer service. There is usually only one person to check customers out, there is no personal touch when it comes to any interaction from customer to employee, and most of the staff is trash talking when people need help. Very unprofessional. I’ll be going to Sephora moving forward.

Dont waste your time/money getting your hair done at the salon. WORST haircut I ever gotten. I went back to the salon to get my hair corrected from mistakes made from the first time (hair uneven) and left with it looking even worse. I cant wait for it to grow out.

Ive frequented this store numerous times due to it being close to my home and every time I hope the experience improves but it never does. The only time associates attempt to assist you is if youre in the high end area of the store. I moonlight as a MUA from time to time and love using NYX products when Im in a pinch so I dropped by yesterday to pick up a few things. The shelves were an absolute wreck. Nothing was in the correct spot, actually, most spots were entirely empty. I had to track down an associate to even get help. The associate wasnt actually any assistance at all as they just looked at the same empty shelves and told me they must not have my needed products in stock. This was very frustrating as I took the time to check the products online before my visit and each said they were in stock at that particular location. I understand Ulta carries numerous products and employees may sometimes be too busy servicing other customers to front face different areas. That being said, I noticed there werent many customers being serviced and with the shelves a wreck I can only assume it was due to poor performance. I love Ulta due to their large selection but I probably will no longer return to this location due to the lack of assistance and disorganization.

Cashier with black hair told me to sign up for an ultimate rewards card and when I asked her what it was she completely ignored me. I then told her I wanted to use my reward points on my purchase and she said ok. I even asked her twice if she redeemed my points, and she assured me that she did. After I paid and checked my receipt she never redeemed my points. Terrible cashiers. Go to a different ulta.

Dirty. And staff has poor customer service skills. After 30 minutes of being here I had to ask to get help while workers stood around having side convos. I asked about the revolution lipsticks bc it was hard to tell which are testers and which aren’t bc there are no labels. The woman was dismissive and said she wasn’t usually in that area. The man at the register greets you by saying “what’s your phone number?”...and that’s it.

For products, this place is fine. If you want to TRY to get a walk in appointment for the salon... FORGET IT. They dont usually even answer the salon phones, so skip and go to Beauty Brands across the way. They at least talk to you when you arrive.

The worst cashiers of all Ulta stores! They try to look cool but never act cool.They rarely smile or say thank you. One lady did not even bother to hand me my bag and I had to reach for it myself. Cmon Ulta, it does not cost you a dime to fix this. The Walmart next door surely has much better customer service.

I have to agree with the other reviewers. Place was not stocked and what was stocked was dirty. There were palettes and pans for testing products that were just nasty filthy and so many shelves of products out of stock. There seemed to be only two or three employees there and they were too busy to help customers. One woman asked me if I needed help but that was after Id been wandering the place for almost 20 minutes. Im very disappointed. Sephora is always stocked, always super staffed, always clean, and always a good experience. Wouldnt have gone here if I didnt have a gift card and wont be back.

Very long lines and very rude cashiers. They asked for my phone number before they rang me up. I declined to give a number and the cashier said Uh Whatever. Rang up my purchase and gave me my bag with no thank you, no nothing just NEXT CUSTOMER. I will not be back. I will go to the mall and go to Sephora before I ever step one foot back in this store. This was not a one time occurrence.And the store shelves were almost bare. Not stocked at all!

I shop at this ulta every 2 weeks! Not once have I ever been greeted nor asked for help. The one time I ask a question the girl gave me the short answer and walked away. The manager is rude as well. She has a bad attitude always. If they would take the time out to see if they could help their customers and Acknowledge anyone.

I have lived in this area for years. Frequented this store so many times, I cant even remember how many. The past year, the cleanliness and customer service has declined considerably. The staff is pedantic, completely oblivious to what they are selling except for makeup. Theres rarely enough stock. The samples are a mess and missing.

I unfortunately have to agree with some of the other reviewers here. Every time I go here the shelves in the makeup area are bare or just a mess. I tried 1 more time today and I think it will be my last. There was one associate on the floor though that was very attentive and constantly checking on us customers, it was just sad she couldnt do anything about them never having product.

This was the worst place ever! No one was willing to attend to you. I literally had to find everything by yourself and mind you I was referred to come to this location by another employee at a different location so I was expecting Service to be the same way as the previous location but that was not the case. The store manager was extremely rude, the young lady who I was told would assist me was worse off and it seem like they only assisted the white customers....I thought those days were over! I Will definitely be sticking with Sephora!

Store is never restocked, the beauty advisors are never helpful. However, there is a girl named Lindsay that is very nice and very helpful and actually looks like she loves her job and knows what she’s doing!

We had to track someone down to help us. The store was gross and dirty. The shelves were very very unorganized and everything was thrown everywhere. All perfume testers were empty or broken. They had one person at check out and 20 people standing in line. The shampoo area was a disaster. The list could go on.
