They got two stars because of their friendly service counter guy (John). Their quote was more than double the cost compared to a garage just down the street with the same guarantee. Firestone is a great example as to why there is very little trust when it comes to mechanics.

The service was excellent. We had a flat and it was a last minute challenge for us. When we arrived, the gentleman (we cant recall his name...very handsome young man) met us and immediately began working. He was polite and very knowledgeable about his craft. We forgot to tip him and will stop on our way back home. Great customer service is so hard to find and for these Georgia travelers; this was heaven sent. We are grateful for all the angels surrounding us during that challenging time in our life.

Had an appointment today at 11 pulled up to drop my car off and they were closed bc a machine was down. I’ve had the appointment for a week and nobody called to tell me or reschedule or anything. I also have a donut on one side which is why i needed the appointment! Completely dissatisfied with the customer service! Horrible service

Not pushy about sales and reasonable prices- best part is since I was stuck without a car theres a lot of nice shops nearby to spend time waiting for the car fixes.

My experience started out wonderful. I had woken up late and had to change my appointment date for my new tires and they moved it to the next day for me without hesitation. A+ there guys. I needed new TPMS sensors, was quoted but ultimately declined replacing them at this time. The price was within range and the sales pitch wasn’t pushy. If I had the extra money, I probably would have given them the work.Now, here’s where things went off the rails.I just bought these new tires, so of course I’m a little anxious. It’s a big expense and one would think you should do everything to protect your investment, right? Sure, sounds perfectly logical.Now where I am irked is my alignment was alright. I was shown a piece of paper of a readout, that I never got a copy of, that said my alignment was really wonky. I took it to another Firestone and magically my alignment was only just a tiny bit off. No where near the numbers they tried to tell me my where my alignment was.Bottom line - they lied to me about my alignment to try to get me to buy something I didn’t need because it was an easy way to make a buck. Furthermore, when I did their customer satisfaction survey - I never heard a peep back, in over 3 months, about being displeased with being lied to. I question doing business with Firestone anymore, other than the rotations to assure I get my 70,000 miles out of these tires. Dishonesty cannot be tolerated in my books, but the sheer lack of care from anyone about this issue is probably the straw that broke this camels back. If you choose to, or have no choice but to, take your car here - proceed with caution.

After a bad experience with my other car back in the summer at anothertire company..this was an awesome experience. Got me a great deal on new tires and the manager and techs worked together to make sure I was good on my own upgraded wheels. They worked like a ture team to get us in and out after my own suggestion of tire size was abit off with the new bigger rims.Thanks again

Every time we bring one of our cars to Firestone in Covington Ky, we are fully taken car of. No BS & very honest. Their staff is always very kind and extremely respectful.

Second time I have taken my car to this firestone location. I have never had a good experience with firestone until I have visited this location. The people their are honest and dont try to sell u extra work like other locations in the past. This store definitely gives a breath of fresh air to the Firestone name. Went here after check engine light came on in my car. They did a full inspection and service, replaced the oxygen sensor, all for about 300 bucks. Less than a week later my engine overheats. Whatever they did or didn’t do clearly didn’t work.

I was in and out for an oil change and was even able to schedule online. The workers were friendly and thorough. Even had coupons for oil changes.

I had a great experience here today. Midas had to reschedule my appointment this morning, but I needed it to be done today. I called Firestone and they said bring it on in. They had me in and out in a little over 30min. I would definitely recommend and I plan to return if I need anything else.

Only place I trust with my cars. They never try to sell me unnecessary work.

I am writing this review because I have never been to get my oil changed and had such a good experience! Thank you Tessa and Lindsay for the great customer service. I am suggesting Firestone create a “SheCANic” atmosphere with a wine bar and lounge. I would get my oil changed every 3000 miles!

I had recently been in an accident resulting in my tire being gashed so i brought my car in with no appointment probably an hour or so before closing and Glen made sure my car was going to be drivable no matter if they worked past closing time. I really appreciate good service like I got from here.

Theyve always been great with communicating, fair prices, give you options, Ive been there about 6 times. The manager is super friendly, and the one woman who works there, I forget her name, shes so friendly and simply adorable!!! I never feel threatened or ripped off here, which is a relief in this industry!

I took my BMW in last week and got two new front tires that are performing awesomely. Friendly staff but im disappointed that when changing my tires they misplaced my custom, stainless steel, BMW, tire Valve cap on one of my tires.I didnt realize until after the fact, but when I called and went back into the shop to see if they had it still or could make it right they were little to no help and didnt offer to replace it. Instead I was told its like finding a needle in a haystack and they check with the tech who did it in a few days but its not likely itll be found..I was hoping to hear my apologies, please let us replace it.. But no luck with that.. Pretty bummed I have to order a whole new set.

I want to acknowledge two people that service my car, Spencer Schabel (store manager) and Ethan White (technician), I was in a hurry driving back to Florida, they fitted me in their busy schedule, and took care of my alignment problem, very accommodating and respectful, thank you both, I made it back to Florida safely. Went in for a check up due to car making a squeaking noise while braking. Firestone did an inspection, quoted me at $2,000 dollars worth of 10 different repairs. They claimed the squeaky noise I was hearing came from calipers. Which was weird to me. Took car to two different mechanics whom both claimed it was struts making the noise. Firestone didnt even have struts listed on the $2,000 worth of repairs. When I went to pick up car from shop staff tried to sell me on all repairs. Didnt bite. Drive about a mile down road and my sun visor fell off, so I take it directly back to Firestone. They apologize and informed me they will order new parts for sun visor and fix at no cost. Was told they would call/email me when parts arrived. It has now been two months and no call. BTW got new struts from a local shop, no noise, no other issues found with car. Firestone you failed.

Comparative prices but more respect n dont hold ya up all day

I had an appointment at 5pm on Monday for an tire alignment , but by 5.45pm my car was not even in the shop, which can be understandable on busy days so I rescheduled for Tuesday to drop my car off at 7am on Tuesday and pick it up at 2pm. When I arrived at 2pm on Tuesday my car was still sitting in the parking lot, never even touched it.. I would not recommend this place unless you are retired and have time to waste..

The staff was extremely friendly, took time to explain everything to me and answered all my questions. I didnt feel intimidated or pressured to purchase additional services other than what I asked for. Showed up for my appointment on time and my car was taken in moments later and service was performed and finished very quickly.

Asked for an estimate for a tune up. Who doesnt include the spark plug wires and you charged me 9.99, kept my car for hours and didnt even flash the air like you charged me for. Never again

Ive been here numerous times for oil change for brakes for tires and theyve always been quick and theyve always been courteous and the prices are not too bad. I would recommend this to anybody who needs to have work done on their car and like to have it done by a reliable and trustworthy individual

I started bringing my car to this store last summer. They always let me know about the specialshave at the time of my service. They also keep me informed of what maintenance is needed or coming up on my car.

Been waiting almost a week for a call back to rectify an issue. They had tires listed that would have cost me 307 so i ordered them and set up appointment time only to receive a call telling me they been discontinued for OVER a year. Corporate said i get a call within 48 hrs, got 1 but couldnt answer as i was working. Never attemted to call back.

Made appt. to have brakes checked and oil changed. Clean waiting room area and friendly staff. Person who took call failed to advise of oil change but they took it right back in and changed it.

Friendly employees great service fast recommend this place for anybody who needs work done!!!

I’ve been coming to this location for 7 years. Have seen managers come and go and have always been loyal until; i started having sever alignment issues after an oil change, rotation and alignment(lifetime). Figured one of the tires was messed up.. they cross rotated and re-aligned my tires for almost 2 hours. Then, i started hearing this grinding noise but the brakes were fine. Ended up being the plastic around my wheel well that was causing the issue. Which they didn’t feel like telling me about because the work they were doing was free. Never going back.

Dont know where the bad reviews are coming from. I know cars and car repair and I know what is wrong with my vehicle before I take it in. I also know when the mechanic is using scare tactics to try to get bogus repairs added to the bill. Just the opposite happens at this shop. They address the immediate issue (the reason why Im there in the first place), but they also do a total inspection and prioritize any other repairs with estimates of what those would be. No scare tactics but a rational explanation of any other problems. All my questions where answered, I was treated with respect, what was quoted was what I paid, and I havent had any issues where Ive had to take it back. I got the lifetime alignment deal and took them up on the second adjustment, which was free. Jasmine was very helpful.

Always had good Service until 5/21/18 tried dropping car off at 730 door was lock and man on phone stood there pulling on door he never wave or anything. I went back to work and called back ask what time you open he said now. Told him I was just there door was lock and you open at 7. He ask if I had an appointment I said no he said with the amount of Techician we have you need an appointment. I asked him is it because am black and he said no I do not feel this was the case. I drop off there all the time because my job near by never again. I been coming to firestone for at least 15years. Came to colerain had no problems there.

At 5:30 am on the way to work coming down highway 71 my front breaks went out and my driver side wheel bearing shredded to pieces..I limped my truck into friestone in Convington and waited till they opened at 7.. right away Tess working the counter helped get me situated and repairs going on my truck. Denis showed me the shredded wheel bearing and what happened. Bob the manager asked if I needed a ride anywhere. Could not have asked for a better experience given the situation. The Firestone in Convington has been top notch.

Took 45 minutes for them to tell us they couldnt fix our tire. And they said that one nail was to close to side wall to fix we had to buy 4 new tires. We went to another tire place the nail near the side wall didnt even go through and the other one was plugged in less then 10 minutes. Will not be going back to firestone.

Good work but have some extra money and time

Very shady and they will try and get you any way they can. I had my trucked looked at and they said not to drive it so I left it there and they towed it. 180.00 for the tow when I just would have moved it if they would have told me.

They brought water in a bowl out for my dog. But it took over a week to look for a part for my car (which they never found)

Difficult to get appointment: expensive; They try to sell you additional unwanted or needed parts. Found out that mechanics get a commission on parts. My last visit the mechanic misdiagnosed my problem and tried to sell a part that was not broken.

Its good to find auto parts.

They tried to charge $80.00 to plug a reader in and just read some engine codes. This is robbery...most shops, and Autozone will pull codes for free. DO NOT GO HERE, they are crooks.

Worst experuence ever trying ti get an oil, filter change. They were trying to charge me $80.00 if I wouldnt give them my SSN and a bunch of info to check my credit to get their credit card. Non sense. Will never go back again.

I live around the corner from this establishment and tried to create a relationship with them. I took my car and my wifes car here exclusively for almost two years. By the end I still felt like they were not particularly honest with me, they inflated their prices, and that they tried to double dip on prices. Some of their work has also been decidedly shoddy.
