Excellent place to fish. Trout, Red, Spe kled Trout, Gaff Top. great boat ramp. Lights. Big parking lot. $3.00 to fish off the pier. And $5.00 for boat parking. I dont think you will be disappointed.

No live bait but you can fish off a private peir if you buy bait from them .Would give five stars if they had live bait.

Under new ownership. OPENS EARLY and closes late! Better than ever bait shop! Has a huge variety of bait and fishing equipment. Not only that, the shop also has different types of cold drinks such as sodas, energy drinks, and even beers! Oh dont worry if youre feeling hungry, Marinaville has different selections of chips, chocolates, and candy bars! So come stop by and crack open a cold one ;)

This was such a cute bait shop. We fished off the dock and my boys had a blast. Only $3 per adult, kids free with paid adult. The owner/employee was super kind and very friendly!

Horrible experience!!!Bought a broken fishing pole went back to but just the upper part that was broken and they didn’t care!

Looks like its being remodeled so nothings really inside and the bait is frozen and a bit pricey. But they have a pier with lights at night. Will be going back soon so things may change.

The dead shrimp from this place are so fresh u could skewer em and grill em if u wanted to. One of my 2 go to places. So far they havent failed me with poor service or products. Highly recommend!

Dirty and expensive

Nice little bait stand that sells a little bit of everything to go fishing.. They dont sell fishing licenses though so get yours at your local WallMart or Sporting goods store before you go..They also offer fresh bait such as live shrimp and a few other baits, tackle and supplies.. The pier can be used to fish off of for a few dollars I am told..Clean little place and conveniently located for launching boats..

Have used this bait shop for years...This past weekend was my first time off in a while and decided to fish both days. The dead shrimp I received (both days) were undersized compared to previous visits, soft and overall not worth waiting for.All in all I am going to have to find another bait stand to patronize. I had hoped Saturday that it was just an off day. Unfortunately that proved to be their norm.Best of luck to the new ownership and hope they rethink this topic.

Theyve fixed this place up nice and still going. The boat launch needs a face lift but it does the job.

Do not plan your trip around acquiring bait from Marinaville. More times than I can count, including this morning (5/1/15), I have planned fishing trips in Portland based on my ability to get bait here only to find them closed. SO FRUSTRATING! Closed despite posted hours saying the should have been open (Fridays @ 6am) two hours before I arrived. It is inconceivable to me how this place is still in business given the total lack of commitment to be open when you say you will be open.

It had the bait we wanted and gave us tips of where people were catching although we didnt catch but info is always appreciated

Upon checking in, they woudnt take my reservation because my name wasnt on the reservation.Then big roch was crawling on top of the front desk...yalllBed was hard as a sold wood, there was a wet smell in the room..like mildew.....breakfast...no comment...for what they charge stay there and. Parking fee...you figure they would a least have a good breakfast....

Kinda overpriced compared to other bait shops and if there are other customers shopping you have to wait until everyone is done for the worker to lock up the store and go get your bait.
