This is a great little pier that has plenty of live, dead and artificial bait and lures. Has restrooms.Drinks, etcOnly $2.00 to fish, 3 rods per person, etc.Staff inside are very helpful as well.;)Its a great location right near the Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, as well as 5 minutes outside the city. Plenty of hotels nearby, on and off base. And restaurants galore as well as shopping malls, etc.

Nice selection of bait. Wish they did half pound shrimp. I went for some bait on a whim while I was in the area with totally unplanned fishing. Would of been real convenient to just get half a pound but I understand the logistics of not providing it from storefront POV

Great pier to fish from with good prices on bait. Super friendly staff! They assisted me in selecting the correct hook shape and sizes after I missed setting the hook on a few Specks. Ive never been skunked while fishing at Cos Way!

Great place to fish, or get the gear you need for where youre going...I just dont like that when you buy shrimp for bait they throw a lot of small ones in...lots of places do that...but there are some who dont.

Only 4 stars because it was stinky. Just kidding, prices reasonable, got fresh dead shrimp and frozen mullet, went to the surf but only caught a few hardheads. Good luck!!!

We deeeefinitely didnt buy a singular shrimp and then put it back in the ocean to then later realize that it was a freshwater shrimp and instead of saving its life, we ended it quicker.

We had a great experience here. The guys in the shop are attentive and help you with whatever you need. They explained everything perfectly. We bought 2 reels for a fair price they do have everything to get you started. Restroom is available. Live bait as well. The scenery is amazing at sundown. Worth the day fishing. A nice couple did give us a pretty awesome reel they no longer needed. We didn’t catch much fish but the people on the deck near us were catching big fish. Only down fall is the boards could use a spray down. Other than that everything was great.

The fishing was so good tonight but I got tired of reeling them in my ice chest is full I had a great time affordable fishing good people just a lot of fun

This is a great little spot to fish. The price is fair and the facilities are nice and clean. They have ice cold beverages and snacks and all the little things you may need and forget. Didnt catch anything spectacular today, but there are stories here with pics on the wall of Champs from the past. If you havent been, you need to spend some time here.

If you need it they probably have it. Prices arent bad but you cant get onto the pier with a shoehorn: waaaaaay too crowded to fish.

We love pier fishing. This time everyone was out of live bait. For the whole time we were there. 9 days of no live bait.

Bait shop is great but they should not sell those live microshrimp for bait. They are worthless and a ripoff to pay the same price.

Friendly staff. Live Shrimp is sold by pieces. Unlike several places that sell by pint or quart. So when shrimp are measuring jumbo sizes and you want 80 shrimp for about $20 you get 80 shrimp. Compared to when you by a quart of shrimp elsewhere you may only get a handful of shrimp for $20. You do the math. Also sell tackle and some food items.

The guys there were so helpful!!! First time fishers here and they willingly set up our rods and gave us a quick lesson on how to cast. Even tried to refuse our tip, but we shoved it in the cup by register anyway.

It was good but they stated giving very small shrimp out and we haded to use 6 shrimp on a hook to see if we can get a bit

This place is now called Baitmasters. It doesnt look like much has changed..:) The place opens early and and its right next to the highway, so its an easy off and on. I was there really early and there were a few people already there.

Great family place where you can purchase fresh or frozen bait. They have docks you can fish off of. Restrooms available. Wheelchair accessible. It is nothing fancy but has what you need. We stayed half the night parked by the waters edge.

Ive been coming here for years the staff are friendly offer great advice and have a well stocked store where I can find fishing products that I cant find elsewhere such a great place to go and at a very low price you cant beat it.

I have seen this bait shop for many years and never stopped until this week. We went in to buy some croaker. The store has a lot of fishing gear and snacks, plus lots of bait. We paid inside, received a ticket and went to the side to get the bait. I gent took our ticket and went into a back room to get the bait. I like to see what the bait houses get just to make sure I am not getting used bait. We had already purchased croaker two times this week and they were small or reused (had hook marks). The guy came back with aquarium clean blue water with very big croakers. I was impressed. The croakers lasted 12 hours without me changing the water in a five gallon bucket. I let the few left go at the end of the day. I will go back to this place as my bait monger .

It is my go to place in March and target the Black Drum. Patience is part of this sport and Cosways offers food , drinks, and bait and is close to town. I learn all I can from the locals there. Great place

Great place to get your lines wet! Good fishing at this location! lighted pier! Good store to shop and get your tackle in case you forgot something back home. Channel runs by this location, reds, specks, flounder, no telling what youll catch at this area! Good place to fish at night time!

I would give it five stars but I dont always catch fish I expect to have fish theres on my fish so thats expecting a little bit too much but yes I enjoy fishing over there that was lovely but if you enjoy the water and the excitement of catching piggy perch or a large drummer red or golden Croaker during the October season otherwise identify Stars I dont give any place five stars catch fish all the time. I’ve hit every bait stand from the island to Nueces bay and this place has the best bait in town. When other places run out this place always seems to have their flags up. Like others have said, this place is easy to get in and out of if you’re towing a boat.

I absolutely love this place! As a hunting guide in cenral and south Texas I highly recommend this place! Great staff! Roy, Chris Tyler are my favorites!

The folks in the shop are helpful for the most part.However, the pier has some underground junk on the end closest to the JFK Causeway that you will get hung up on. All the fishermen are clustered around the opposite end of the dock parallel to the channel that runs between this pier and the one closer to Mustang Island. Nobody mentioned this to us when we bought bait, so we had to spend time educating ourselves about this. They either need to mention it or spend the time removing the stuff.

My favorite fishing spot when I come to Texas. Not just the fishing but outgoing staff, love Cos, and friendly fisherman/women. One stop shopping place w clean restrooms.😘
