I did a return a couple weeks ago and the boy working there did not know what he was doing and didn’t process my return correctly. I’ve called and spoke to someone else and he said he would get with his manager and still nothing happened. I come into the store today and the wonderful manager was able to help me fast and with a friendly smile. She apologized and assured me it would not happen again. This store is run by some fierce women and I love it.

Im giving them 4 stars because I like dealing with auto zone but one of there employees really tested my patience today. He was mad cause i wanted to order a part from another one of there stores instead of going to that store to pick it up. Why would i go to the other side of town when i can order it here n have yall deliver it to the auto zone by my house and pick it up the next day? I wanted to go off on him so bad cause he mentioned if i wanted to just go pick it up instead of him having to order it. He asked me that 5x. Was at 2149 Airline store in Corpus Christi Texas. Went to get a part already had number on part guy no name tag stood starring at me.. I handed him a store copy of the part I needed he just stood there looking at me.I asked him was something wrong since he is just starring he said I was asking you a question I said you never said anything .. can you get this.. he went back and cam up to front and had a young man name James wait on me. He apologized.. I told him no problem. O asked what the other guy name was si ce he didnt have a name tag on...

Excellent customer service!!! I would like to thank Mr. Garza for going beyond the customer service experience. I was stranded due to this ugly weather and my battery was dead and I was in need of a new battery not having anyone to assist me I spoke to Mr. Garza and he took my phone order and offered to help me bring and install my battery. I would never be able to repay his help and his kindness. May God bless him and all his team!!! I highly recommend this store!!!

I like their selection. I regularly buy the big bottle of Lucas complete fuel system & upper combustion chamber additive after filling up with gas. Gas stations have it, but not in the big bottle that treats up to 30 gallons. Anyway, it improves fuel economy & helps to reduce excessive wear & tear on the motor by keeping it clean from buildup & deposits. & its not very expensive. A little bit of Autozones Sea Foam added in the crank case after every oil change, doesnt hurt neither.

I usually go to this AutoZone a couple of times and have gotten good service. This time I was going to check out my wife and mine car battery if they were bad. I receive help quickly. I advise the sale associate of the situation. He checked my car battery and went to my wifes car to check. Testing both were bad which was a relief to know it was just the battery. While looking for other batteries the gentleman was able to explain what each type of battery was and explained in a language I could understand. After purchasing the two batteries gentleman offered to install the battery. I more then accept the help for I have only work on my wifes car a couple of times. Sales associate went to exchange the battery in no time and in the south Texas heat. Also was explaining how to maintain the vehicle for longer usage. Afterwards went back in for a couple minor items. The gentleman offered which product was better and which one would help for high mileage car. It is amazing the pride of work this gentleman took at his job. Sale associate was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made me feel like a friend you have not seen in years and glad to see. I greatly appreciate his positive attitude and great experience. I will definitely tell others of my story. Im glad to know that the staff and gentleman are around to help others. Just wish I would know his name unfortunately, did not find his name on the receipt. I will return for any car issue. Thank you😁

I went in the store last week on a Tuesday and I dealt with mike and he was the best parts person I have dealt with I use to deal with oreillys but since my experience I won’t be dealing with anyone else.

On vacation our dome light was left on and our battery was drained. We got a jump and headed over to Auto Zone. We were lucky enough to encounter Johnny L. who is a student, a transfer from another store and an absolute gentleman. He is an asset to your company and a shining example of what your company needs as an employee. He helped me show my son young how to change out the battery, and quickly, efficiently had us on our way to enjoy our beach vacation. His professionalism, helpfulness, and willingness to teach others will take him far. Thank you Johnny!

I always use Auto Zone to get parts and information to help me fix my car. The staff have always been courteous, helpful and know alot about cars. Prices are reasonable too. Ive used OReilly on occasion bit always feel confident Auto Zone will best meet my automotive needs. I highly recommend them.

Requested battery check. Said it was alternator. I Insisted we replace battery. Tried to refuse to install new battery. Finally agreed and replaced. Truck runs fine now after he called me a derogatory name in spanish to his coworker after i told him hed lose the sale if he couldnt offer the service i came for. Throwing tools on the ground and asking me if Ive ever replaced a battery during installation. Sure I have but dont offer a service and act like a child when you provide it. Done with this place.

If you are having car trouble and your battery wont hold a charge call before you drive here. They said their load tester isnt working. So there I am getting a jump in the auto zone parking lot. 🤦🏽‍♀️ On to the next Autozone....

Stopped by for a part, I was told it was out on an aisle. I was told the wrong aisle. I couldnt find the part so I left. Went to a competitor down the street and they helpfully went and got what I needed for me. This Autozone location is often disappointing. It was good for a time a while back when a guy named Bergman was the manager but now customer service is bad at this location again.

The associate who helped us went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed. We asked several questions and he was able to assist us very well. He was very knowledgeable about many different parts of the car.

Got oil, employees were helpful.

They had what I was looking for, but I am disabled, the person working there saw me struggling to open the very heavy door and just watched me struggle. Great place for getting what you need, horrible place for customer service.

Needed an associate to check why my check engine light was on. They told me what probably was the problem. Said if I decided to buy parts they had them. But they did not. When I made purchase was after 4pm. Associate said part would be in in a week. But failed to tell me if order placed after 4pm. Shipping wasnt guaranteed on said date. Needed part asap. Not very helpful. Just tried to make a sale.

I despise this particular location. You always get treated like a burden. I dont know why I keep going back. I once spoke with the area manager and she seemed very concerned with making a difference.I once again tried them. I stood there for help being the only one in line while 4 employees discussed who was going home and who was going to lunch. No one said hello or even a Well be right with you.I just walked out. That was their last chance. Too bad, I live a block away, but will go to another location or the competition all together.

I went in to verify if they had my battery in stock. When I told the gentleman that I have my core in the truck he went out to help me get it and when is saw that it was still connect it he walked back inside as I was coming in he was walking out and said @somebody else would help you he seemed annoyed. this particular AutoZone for the most part has bad service and I don’t recommend did you go there unless you really need to.

Just left this location. Walked about a half mile with my old battery to recycle and purchase a new one. Not too big of a deal that they did not have a single battery to replace mine,but the worker refused to recycle my old battery. The website says they’ll give you a $10 autozone card. I even offered to pay for the recycling and was told no. Didn’t help that the cashier was rude

The services was terrible! Asked for wiper blades for my car and he man just pointed towards the wipers and said they are there.. after trying to put them on my car for a good 20 min I realized that they were the wrong ones went back and the same man refunded my money instead of actually helping me find the right ones !!!!

My alternator was dieing and ultimately left my car disabled in my driveway. An employee suggested I go straight home. Turned out to be very good advice. He also gave me the card of a local mechanic who came to my home and fixed my car for a more than reasonable price. Of course I bought the parts.

Jayson at this location went above and beyond to help me. I came in with two young children needing a new battery, and it was raining outside. The first employee said he would not change it for me, and then (probably seeing the desperation in my eyes) Jayson offered to do it. He stood in the rain while changing it and then further tested my alternator since the car didn’t start right away (took 3 tries) after the new battery. I am so grateful for his help in the rain- made the experience easy and pleasant!

Affordable, better than Orileys.! On top of there game.

AutoZone is usually no. 1 choice because of the prices and quality of items, but this particular time I needed to get some transmission fluid to fix a mistake I had done to my vehicle. The guy who assisted me ensured I was getting the right fluid. He even told me he would rather no let me take the “non-recommended” stuff than me taking it and messing up my vehicle in the long run.That to me has a lot of value as it speaks of the type of person and employee he is.

Returned a set of plug wires that had gone bad. They were in the system incorrectly but the MGR was very helpful in resolving the issue. May want to add some staff because there were customers waiting about 5 or 6 deep.

Don’t waste your time at this place. We have placed an order for 4 days straight. Every time we show up to pick it up, they have no idea where it’s at. But they reassure us it will be in the next day. Well 4 days in and we still don’t have a part. Horrible customer service. I’ll take my business elsewhere now.

Im not sure what the point of online ordering is. Ordered a car battery at 1:30 pm with strict instructions to wait to pick up until the I receive an email stating it is ready for pickup. I waited 4 and half hours, then called to see if it was ready. They explained it has been ready all day. After the phone conversation I received the email it was ready for pickup. When I went to check out I was asked to go and retrieve the item from the shelf. So again...what is the benefit of ordering online?

Autozone normally has what your looking for in diy auto repair, including complete engines. But todays customer service was lacking.

Came by with family to replace a headlight. An employee came out to our car to help put in the new bulb, only to end up fixing whatever was wrong with the original one, that didnt need replacing after all! Excellent customer service!

I was in there a couple of weeks back to purchase a car battery. I didnt see a book or touchscreen to look up the battery info – I assume because of COVID-19 – so I went to the counter, they helped me find the one I needed, and gave me several options to choose from.

3:52pm on 12/10 your cashier was the WORST. Im sure whatever is on her phone is reallly important to her BUT its not reason enough to be rude and short and barely (if at all) answer questions. She should be fired. Worst customer service ever and I used to live in the virgin islands where its reaaaaally bad, somehow shes worse!

Very good customer service and they carry the best batteries in town for commercial vehicles also for your daily driver. Manager was awesome too.

So I show up to AutoZone telling them I need an axle shaft three different people could not find the one I needed someone finally found what I needed didnt even order the right part now theyre sending it back and I have to wait a whole nother three days before I can fix my car thanks AutoZone

As a woman when I go to auto parts stores the people in the store usually help me. This store was maybe it will work and handed the part back to me. I will not go to Auto zone again. Will stick to OREILLY or Discount Auto Parts. They are always willing to lend a hand.

The staff was super helpful, but overall, its a fairly normal autoparts store. Out of stock for about half their supposed inventory. I understand this is a common cost cutting measure, especially when competing with similar stores and internet parts dealers, but they were even sparse on batteries, an everyday need.

John was understanding, easy to talk to and understood my needs... I would definately recommend him for all your auto parts needs....

Please do yourself a favor and Avoid this AutoZone unless you want to be there 20min waiting to pay. The lady in the glasses was rude and unapologetic. My total was 10 bucks more than it should have been, so I told her to take an item off my ticket and she couldnt do that because i was using my rewards. I had to buy it and return it, which is fine by me but then they could not produce a receipt for me because I had to know why. The lady tried getting my receipt for 10 minutes and then she said shes going to have the manager print one off and after another 10 minutes of waiting I left. For a total of 40min standing there. I truly feel like this lady is stealing somehow or she just doesnt know how to do her job at all and scanned something wrong. I bought a 5-gallon thing of oil that was $30 and three other items that were less than $4 a piece for a total of 45.46 with 8.25$ sales tax. So how in the world after a $20 credit do I owe $33?? Thats almost 10 bucks.

While in Corpus on vacation had an issue with my truck and the closest AutoZone was the one on Airline. We got the privilege of being helped by Joshua. He was so helpful. He even waited while I was on the phone with my mechanic back at home. There was a problem with battery. Joshua took the old one off my truck and put the new one on. The best customer service I have ever had.
