Lorenzo and Richard were a Class Act. Exceptional customer service and knowledge. They changed out my alternator for a very fair price and once I picked it up after 5PM, they noticed my S. belt was split. I asked if it wasnt too much trouble to have him install, with no hesitation he said, No Problem I finally havethe piece of mind my vehicle is running well. He did a great job rebuilding the original starter motor from my 7.3L Powerstroke. I called in the morning and he promised to have it repaired the same day (no more than 2 hours). I installed the unit and it works flawlessly! Highly recommended rebuild shop... Will report back with a longevity review after a sufficient length of time has passed.* 90 day warranty on parts *Update: The starter motor is still running strong a year later! A++

My review will center around my one interaction with L&H. My wife and two children were traveling to Corpus for a weekend at the beach when our vehicle s electric went out, and we knew it was the alternator. We immediately pulled out our smart phones searching for alternator places for prices. The prices we got were baffling, some from a respectable 175 (installed) to 300-400 installed. When we called L&H the gentleman spoke about giving us an estimate as soon as he could see what alternator we had. So we blindly trusted that we would be taken care of, upon finding out that Triple A tow was going to cost us $5 a mile after first 3 were free.When we arrived at L&H, the neighborhood might not have been in the best of condition but people were nice, and we dropped the Tahoe down off the truck. Soon Lorenzo came out and popped the hood, and walked back into his shop. It was raining/cold/windy and we couldn t get the truck under the awning for him to work on, needless to say he brought out a step ladder and went to work undoing the parts covering the alternator. He made some small talk to put us at ease, and I thanked him for being open at this time, it was 5:15 PM - One of the other places we had tried told us to not come by since they closed at 5 PM, and all the guy had for us was sympathy - zero help. Lorenzo stayed open, and was working in the rain. He quoted me 139.99 - for install and rebuilt part - which was more than fair. I m not sure how long the alternator will work, but I will revisit this in the future if it ever seizes before it s time.But Lorenzo was quick, and nice - and saved our vacation. Triple A advised mechanic quoted us $375 but with a 10% off as we were Triple A members, in which we just laughed at. Lorenzo saved us this day as the part/labor was cheaper than the 27 mile tow we had to pay to get there.Thanks Lorenzo, and trust he will shoot you straight and get you what you need. He might not be a full shop for every car s needs - but give him a shot, and trust starters/alternators will be taken care of fairly.Again, my wife and I thank you Lorenzo.
