This company is truly disappointing. CW Miller installed the garage in our home as part of a new construction. Within the first three months the coil came off unexpectedly. To their credit, they came out the very next day and fixed it immediately. I truly appreciated the response. Only 10 months later, the garage would go down 2 feet then back up 2 feet regardless of how many times I cleaned the sensor per their suggestion. We have not been able to resolve this issue. A week ago, my garage door opener stopped transmitting despite the red light on the remote turning on.When calling CW Miller (15 months after the original installation) I was greeted with a woman who told me that the original request regarding the coil was due to me closing the garage door on something. To think I would try and manipulate a garage door and then lie about it is laughable, especially when it was under warranty and they had to fix it no matter what. Then, despite me now being 3 months out of warranty (and only 15 months since the original installation), and the constant issues that have come up with simply opening and closing my garage, CW Miller has refused to stand behind their work, asking me to pay $80 for a service fee. In some sense, I feel like this garage was installed completely incorrectly only to later be able to reap the benefits of a repair.Im a fair consumer, and I rate companies equally, so when calling CW Miller to talk through honoring the fact that my garage isnt even 2 years old, and has been serviced once already and now requires another service because it will not even close, and now the remote is broken, Im simply told the warranty is over so pay up. Truly disappointed, and will EASILY find someone else to fix this issue despite it being at my cost for a brand new garage door opener.

I contacted CW Miller to fix a garage door issue. The gentleman that came out to help, knew just about as much as I did on garage doors. He didnt know what the codes meant nor how to fix. I called CWs customer service help and just as others have stated on these reviews, the woman was a total jerk. She hung up on me and said she could not help. Would not use these people to sweep my floor. Very unprofessional and very rude. Do yourself a favor and down waist your time. 2 Thumbs way down!

I purchased two garage door systems from CW Miller several years ago and called the company because one of the door was opening on its own. I called to see if this was an issue that CW Miller could help me with as their web site indicated that they are did garage door repairs. I was told that there was no warranty which I understood. I was frustrated but I asked if we could set up a repair visit. I was told no but was given another company to deal with. I was on the road and had forgotten the name and number of that company. When I called CW Miller to get that information I wad told they knew me and didnt want to talk to an ass____ and hung up the phone on me. Not quite, the customer is always right. I did attempt to talk to the owners but the reception people would not connect me so this is the only way I can express my disappointment. Hugh Westwater

I just encountered possibly the rudest, most customer no service individual I have ever talked to on the phone. I hope the owners recorded the call and review it later. I just asked for someone to come out and check on a garage door that does not close completely after they installed the opener. It is out of warranty, yes. Did she explain it to me in a nice way, no. Then I got the 3rd degree and interrogated as to why I didnt call sooner. And this is going to be $80 service charge. And I dont believe you when you say it has always been this way. And get your story straight. RUDE RUDE RUDE & TOTALLY IGNORANT!!!! No way to treat a customer EVER, I dont care how right you think you are! I see I am not the first UNHAPPY customer.

I arranged to have a garage door opener installed. The install tech showed up and informed me I needed to have an outlet run to the opener. Fair enough, but I was never informed of that and had incorrectly assumed an opener installation meant they ensured power to the unit.When I called to tell CWMiller about my experience, I was met with a condescending service rep.She suggested the problem was miscommunication and that perhaps she should have had her crystal ball in front of her. I needed a garage door remote for my Moms garage & want sure which model Id need. The woman who answered the phone was so helpful, figured out the universal remote would work & shipped it out immediately. Saved me from guessing, ordering, waiting & returning one that wouldnt do the job. Thank you!

Insulted my mother on the phone after she asked if the $85 dollar trip charge went to the purchase. Horrible company, Horrible customer service, total lack of respect for customers.
