We are so pleased with our experience working with Earnest at Mercedes of Columbus. He was very prompt in responding to all our questions. We were coming from out of town, and he had everything ready to go when we got there. So efficient and professional, respecting our time — none of the stranded-alone-in-an-office-waiting while they check on things that can make the car buying experience so horrible. He made what is normally a dreaded process fun and delightful. And of course we love our new car!!!

Id totaled my car and was in dire need for a new vehicle. Turning 30 and coming of age a Mercedes was the perfect option for me. Id been researching at several dealerships and Mercedes-Benz of Columbus had the exact vehicle I wanted. I took a trip from Atlanta to Columbus (1.5 hrs) and I really loved my experience with Mercedes-Benz of Columbus. They were attentive and made the process of purchasing a brand new vehicle seamless. My sales consultant Earnest, was very nice and patient. Debbie also gave great customer service by thoroughly explaining all payment processes and any additional coverages I may have missed.

I am not pleased with the quality of service I received on my 2019 GLS450. After three visits (I live 45 minutes away) to the dealership - my issue is still not resolved. Its extremely frustrating when a luxury car doesnt have service to meet the expectations of the brand. I am hoping it will be resolved sooner than later.

This was my first luxury car purchase and i can truly say i felt that i was treated with class . From the moment i walked in to Mercedes Benz of Columbus until i received my car today the customer service has been excellent! Truly exceeding all my expectations. I am so glad i chose to do business in Columbus . All my future purchases will be here as well. I had an amazing sales team . Angie who personally called me and checked in with me , Debi was amazing and explained all the warranties and helped with the business side And Bob who took time out to help me learn the car , as this was my first suv. My son recently purchased his first used car from Mercedes of Columbus. A 2020 Ford Mustang with 10 thousand miles on the dash. 29 thousand dollars .Paid to them in full by cashier check.Was told that manufacturer warranty was still on vehicle. 90 days later motor goes out and manufacturer warranty is void! Stating vehicle has been modified! Ford is telling him they wont fix and Mercedes manager Richard said theyre not fixing it either ❗ My son asked Richard for Corporate number and he said he didnt know it. As a mother of a young black man I refuse to let this matter go. Not to mention repairs are over $6000.00 dollars. These people are happy to see u coming and forget you as soon as the check cclears

I had a bad experience with mercedez of columbus service department,took my CLS 550 to see why the dash showed stop car to low.M O C told me it needed a new compressor and both struts,which came out to be closed to 4,000 dollars,I almost said ok,but I decided to get another opinion by a different certified mechanic and they said the compressor was fine,but I do need the strut so I let them do it which cost me 1400 dollars and the car work like new so i save over 2000 dollars from a false 1st opinion do i trust the mechanic of M O C dont think so,no matter what your machine say,you should still run a check on the part to make sure,if i would have said ok,i would have lost over 2000 dollars on a still working part or maybe it was done for other reasons so i was very disappointed.

I went here to get a recall done, When I got home i realized i had no air, They forgot to plug in the blower motor, I went back- I have never had any issues with my car until I brought it here, They fixed the air and in the process ruined a speaker in the dash, As soon as I drive out my ABS cluster lights all come on- I went back in and they tell me 600$ I need new wheel speed sensors!? I found the parts online from Mercedes for 51$ I purchased an OBD2 scanner for cheap, found the code I had ONE bad sensor, It was easy to replace and saved myself a lot of money! Over 500$! I wouldnt trust this place with my golf cart, They only make money from service, they will overcharge you and replace anything they can to make a buck! Do your research and ask questions and find a mechanic you can trust, Unless you enjoy giving away your hard earned cash!!

Awesome experience. I purchased my Mercedes from another dealership but had recall work done at this dealership. They had a vehicle waiting on me as I pulled up. Within 5 hours they replaced the takata airbags and detailed my car before pickup. Staff was extremely kind and provided a very impressionable experience. Edit: since this visit I have twice had to call the dealership and use roadside assistance. Both were five star experiences. Roadside was there to help both times within 10 minutes of my phone call! The people at the dealership were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

I bought a pre owned 2017 BMW GT from Evelyn Tolbert at Mercedes-Benz of Columbus over the internet and arranged pick up the next day. In my 56 years of interactions with car dealerships this is by far the best dealership I have ever purchased from. Evelyn was on the ball and communicated quickly answering all of my questions and providing pictures and details before I arrived. I paid for the car and was on my way home within 20 minutes of arriving! Also the dealership had an amazing selection of Mercedes and other higher end pre-owned vehicles. Also a shoutout out to Debi Lewis the Sales Manager who was very helpful and made sure I was on my way quickly. Even though I live hours away I will shop with Mercedes-Benz of Columbus first the next time I need a great car!

I bought a vehicle from the dealership on March 23, 2021 and overall the sales experience was decent but a few things struck me, one was the sales person told me I would have to pay taxes on the money for selling my car to CarMax (due to them not giving me enough for my trade) and to the best of my knowledge at the time that wasn’t true, but I called CarMax and it wasn’t true, but I still chose to do business. I went back to the dealership on the 23rd and bought the vehicle and when I got home that evening I noticed that the window stickers were still in the car and I looked at them and the price of the vehicle on there was 29k and some change, so in my opinion it was a little dishonest of them but you live and learn. Mrs Debi in finance was very helpful and I thank the team for that but out of the problems I had it was still an ok sales experience. I would recommend them but keep your eyes open and don’t get caught like I did!

My wife and I have both had great sales and service experiences with Mercedes and I love my 2021 GLS. Josh in sales is amazing and didnt push me to settle for what they had on the lot and was patient and helped me custom order my dream car and it was worth the wait. Be aware those GLSs are back ordered so place your order early. My wife leased her GLB from another dealer and we will trade it in with Mercedes of Columbus due to the amazing service and graciousness theyve treated us both with, even with her lease being from another dealer. From the reception, tech department, sales with Joshua, and management from Nadie, everyone is kind, treats you with respect and they do everything in their power to help you out. They knew I was waiting on a part for my GLS and hadnt had a car with a car seat for two weeks and as soon as the part came in, they made my car a priority knowing I needed to be able to take my baby to school. They are kind, courteous, and treat every customer with respect. I came in sweat pants on a Saturday to buy my GLS and they didnt know I was a lawyer but still treated me like royalty and that has made a lifelong impression where Ill be a loyal customer for life.

My salesman Malcom filled me in on the whole process step by step. Never missed a beat. Bought the car out of state on Friday and it was delivered to my door step Monday. Great guy knowledgeable and professional. I know car buying can be a stressful time for most. Especially when buying a used car because of all the car dealerships that try to cut corners and sell you vehicles they know are not really cars they should be selling. And I had a specific car that I wanted and was super nervous because the car I found here had been in A previous wreck with moderate damage to the front so I was really concerned about that but this was the exact car I wanted and it was loaded with everything I wanted and the color so when I talk to Malcolm.....we talked on the phone and we made sure that all my concerns were met and that the car was repaired properly and correct and inspected so that I would have no further problems in the future so I bought the car online and they delivered it and he brought it to my doorstep and let me tell you what I’ve never been happier with my purchase this car is my dream car it’s beautiful and you would’ve never been able to tell that it’s been wrecked. I was told by Malcom it’s locally owned and the owner takes his reputation seriously and all this you can tell. So don’t let the doc fee question the car you have found here pay it!!! Today I had an appt @9:20am eastern time. I live on central time. I could take it to the M-Benz in Montgomery but I figured why not let the same place I bought the car do my repairs. Plus the location is convenient and closer. Elizabeth(Liz) was my service advisor, not sure who my tech was but they seem to have disappointed me today. Elizabeth should have checked behind her tech. I went in for a coolant hose leak service. My car was done at 12:30pm. When the car was picked up @ 4:30pm the ‘Coolant message’ was on when it shouldn’t of been after getting its service done, went back inside to ask why that message was still on and ANOTHER advisor had to look at the car only to end up having to top off the coolant. There are fluid stains sprayed everywhere (when my engine is usually in clean prestige condition). Not only could the tech have wiped down but my engine cover WAS NOT put back on after my service! I noticed when I got it home and popped the hood to make sure my expectations were met. It’s not like I drive a piece of junk, IT IS A MERCEDES that I purchased from that very own lot! This was VERY unprofessional and UNACCEPTABLE!! Now I’m told that I “should” receive a call from the service manager before noon tomorrow. Wow. I trusted them only to be highly disappointed.**UPDATE** The service manager drove 40 miles to my job to hand me a certificate for a next service award for my troubles. I appreciate the kind effort of them trying to make it right. I’ve decided to give them another go. Thank you Troy and Dewayne!!

The below post was left months ago and since the dealership did help me resolve the issue. Additionally, I have two other trips to the dealership and both trips went very well.People were friendly and service was timely if not responsive. I noted that the tow truck driver had caused a minor incident with my paint. The gentleman said he would check on it. There was no followup on this issue and I still have a small chip of paint missing. Guess I am left to my own to deal with this issue.NOTE: Shortly after writing the above review the dealership contacted me and took satisfactory corrective action. Additionally, my next trip to the dealership went off without a hitch. However, there is the matter of my most recent trip to the dealership. The trip was the worst yet. It took place on July 27, 2021 and as of July 30, 2021 I am still measuring the magnitude of my dissatisfaction. Why do I not yet know said magnitude? The reason is because the service advisor has not met her obligations and at present I do not know how much longer it will take for the service advisor to meet those obligations. The concern--beyond the fact that she is already late with no appropriate followup--is that rather than meeting my request in full, the request will only be met in part.In short, this dealership pays no attention to detail, does not keep promises, and fails to follow up in a prompt manner. I certainly wish there was another Mercedes dealership nearby.

Rick Gilbert and his team were awesome. Did everything via internet, text, and phone. It was my 1st purchase that was 100% from home and 2 states away (NC). It was a stream line process from hello to goodbye. Rick and his team was at the ATL Airport waiting for me with our new 2021 GLE 350 and all paperwork. Found one cosmetic issue with interior of new GLE 350 and no questions asked documented and made sure my local Mercedes store in NC was contacted and told of the issue to take care of it under warranty. It is a shame I dont live closer so they could service the new GLE 350 for me. I will be back to buy again in the future from Rick.

I understand establishments being busy and such but 6+ hours to put two tires on my vehicle and to have them aligned is ridiculous. I feel like I could have put them on and pushed the car home in the time it took for them to service the vehicle.Also, when I walked in for help I stood around while employees are on there phone joking with each other NEVER making eye contact. Only until I stood in there lobby awkwardly for about 8 minutes did someone get off their phone long enough to ask if I was being helped.Not even a hello, it honestly felt like everyone would rather “look busy” then be aware of there surroundings and acknowledge customers. A simple “I’ll be right with you” is all anyone needs. Six hours in and I’m still waiting, not a good first impression at all.***Update:I’m going to leave my original review available for context.After my experience there it has been 100% improved and how my experience has been with other Mercedes-Benz dealerships.I was offered to talk to the general manager and was asked to share my story. After the conversation I noticed things changing all around for the better and I’m glad to see the owner actual cares.I am grateful that my voice was heard and something was done about it.I just pray that it doesn’t change after this post. 😅

My concerns were to fix my windshield and change a light bulb. They went back and forth about the price to fix my windshield. The gentleman said when he called are you ready for this? Its going to be $1200, welcome to the Gwagon life which I thought was extremely unprofessional. It ended up being $244. The mechanic just fixed the one I had instead of ordering a new one. Thank you whoever you are! He also helped me figure out the aux cable . Thank you for that too.They advertise online for $100 an hour In labor, however charged $122 per hour. I do appreciate the gentleman that took me to work and picked me up the next morning. What a nice driver... maybe he needs to deal with customer calls. He knows professionalism.

The entire staff has been friendly, courteous and kind. From the initial contact with my sales person Malcolm Waller, the purchasing process was seamless. Prior to purchase, the small issues found during my vehicle inspection were addressed and resolved.But is was the service after the sale provided by the Columbus Dealership that earns them the 5 star rating. My vehicle had an issue that could only be heard on a cold start. The service appointment was handled by Malcolm, I was placed in a loaner vehicle and the service was completed at no cost to me.It is important to note that the GM Richard Joyner was extremely helpful in this process as well.

I put in my application, Gary called let me know he was working on it. He called me when he had some information for me. What began as an unlikely event, turned in to a perfect ending. I started looking for a pretty specific used car about two months ago and came across one at the dealership. The catch was that I live in North Carolina. I requested more information and received a call from Rick Gilbert. From day one he was courteous and most importantly, patient. As things started lining up and I began to fine tune my trip, I couldnt have asked for better customer service than I received from Rick. I have been to many different Mercedes Benz showrooms and service departments from coast to coast and Mercedes-Benz of Columbus GA has been by far the best when it comes to customer service and care. They went above and beyond what I expected and what would be considered reasonable service. I took my wifes GL450 in for 4 tires and an alignment. I wasnt able to get an appointment time but Troy told me just bring it in and we will get it done sometime today. After I dropped my wifes car off I drove through a construction zone and received tire damage to one of the rear wheels on my GL550. When we picked up my wifes car later that afternoon Troy (service department manager) took a look at my damaged tire and said he could have it replaced if I would wait 20 minutes. Twenty minutes later my car was repaired and I was good to go.People ask me why I only drive Mercedes and I tell them because they are well built and the customer service is the best Ive ever had.

First, the Service and Parts Department needs training on Customer Service, Professionalism, and Honesty. Telephonically, I ordered and paid for a part with Ryan Adams (Service Advisor). During our telephonic dialogue we agreed that I would drop off the vehicle with the understanding that Mercedes would drive my car to the auto body shop to have the ordered part painted. Upon arrival to drop off my vehicle, I was told that the part was in route to the auto body shop and I would need to pick it up after they’ve finished painting it. When I questioned where the part was and to whom to contact at the auto body shop, I was given the wrong number for the auto body shop. The Gentleman at the Service Department stated “First, of all..” this is not customer service or typical of Mercedes. After contacting the auto body shop, the part was NOT there as informed and was actually still at Mercedes. There was zero reason why they could not have been honest or completed the task of driving my vehicle down as discussed. Essentially, I wasted my time and received lazy customer service that was not truthful. I would highly recommend NOT visiting this dealership for service related issues.

This was the best experience I have ever had when buying a car. We purchased a Chevrolet Tahoe. Our salesperson, Abby, was extremely helpful and made sure we were happy with our purchase. I had a really great experience at Mercedes-Benz of Columbus. I made an online inquire about a CPO vehicle and was contacted by Ronnie Meares. Understanding that car shopping can be painful sometimes and after a couple of bad experiences with sales personnel at other Mercedes Benz dealership, I was a little hesitant when I made the online inquire about the CPO vehicle. However, as soon as I picked up the phone and Ronnie started introducing himself and carrying himself with so much respect and good gentleman manners, I knew that my experience was going to be different. He has very understanding on what I needed and very knowledgeable of his product. He was very honest at all times and was very prompt at getting back to me with answers to my questions. When it came to deal with my trade-in vehicle, he was very honest about the couple of things that he told me about the pricing on my vehicle. He gave a very honest and fair trade-in value for my vehicle and helped me figure out the payments and everything else that was involved in the buying process. I would recommend Ronnie to anyone anytime. Please give that gentleman a 100.

My mothers engine was damaged during an oil change, and taken to the Mercedes Benz shop for repairs in June. The company which was responsible for the damages was not very helpful with paying for the repairs, and my mothers car ended up being at the Mercedes shop in limbo for over 6 weeks.You can imagine my mothers frustration as a customer, but also the shop manager at Mercedes. Yet, the entire time that my mothers car was in their shop, they continued to advocate on her behalf to have the car repaired, and maintained the highest degree of decorum under the most strained and unusual circumstances.I am giving Mercedes the highest possible rating for their impeccable customer service. No one could possibly expect have better service under those conditions, and I am thankful for their kindness.

I went in for an A7 service but was soon greeted with a $4500 bill of needed repairs. Phil was very kind and sympathetic. He arranged for a loaner vehicle (First Class) so that I could get back to work in Auburn. Upon completion, he also arranged for a driver to bring my car back to Opelika. I soon discovered that the A& service message had not been reset. Although I was able to Goggle and rest it, Phil was apologetic and offered to pay for the next service. The next morning I discovered that Ileft many items in the loaner car. Knowing that I had family in town for the long weekend, Phil again sent a driver to Opelika. Phil is top notch!

After paying $2327.10 for a B Service, Differential Fluid Service, Fuel Injection Service, AND TRANSMISSION Service ($526.15 of the $2327) on 01/09/2020, I was told that my transmission appeared to be in very good condition & the problem I had been having with its refusing to downshift when I slowed or stopped (which I had originally asked them to check on 05/10/2019) should be fixed with the service. Exactly 1,693 miles after this ‘extended’ service, I was stranded by the road with a transmission that would not shift out of low gear. I had the car hauled to MB of Columbus & was told that it ‘coded’ that I needed an entire new transmission, at a cost of $7704. I had it hauled from the dealership to an independent MB mechanic who determined that it ‘coded’ for bad transmission electrical plates. He replaced those and of course had to again service the transmission at a total cost of $1190.89 - a far cry from the $7704 quoted by MB of Cols. I have driven it 550 miles since and not had any problems with its shifting. He also repaired a really loud front end rattle that MB of Cols had been unable to find & repair. I also had to pay MB of Cols another $122 for running the diagnostics to determine that I needed a new transmission - which obviously was NOT the case. I am VERY disappointed in this EXPENSIVE service - or lack thereof!

I bough a Infiniti Truck from the Mercedes Benz Dealer of Col Ga, on 9/12/18, found out on 9/15/18 that the fog lights do not work so I called the salesman who I worked with at the Mercedes Benz dealership named Gary St. Louis on 9/15/18, I told him that the fog lights do not work on the vehicle. I am extremely pleased to say on 9/19/18 the issue was fixed, I also found another issue of the third row seats squeaking when folding down and they also fixed that issue, I highly recommended buying a vehicle from this Mercedes Benz dealership in Columbus Ga. I am very pleased and grateful to know that if there is a problem with a vehicle in their inventory if you bring it to their attention they will fix any issue you have and they will go pass the extra mile to make sure you are completely satisfied. If I could give them more than a five star rating I would and if I could give them better than a grade A rating I would. Before you buy a vehicle from any other dealership I recommend that you go to the Mercedes Benz dealership of Col. Ga. and see Gary St. Louis he is a great salesman and will work hard and get you the best deal possible, or see the General Manager Richard Joyner, he is also the greatest person you could ever meet and he will make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Mercedes Benz of Col. Ga. Thank You for all that you did for me you are the best, you have earned a customer for life fantastic job keep up the great work.

Friendly and professional staff. They had the part in stock and took care of the airbag so I wouldnt have to make a second trip. They do sell Mercedes-Benz merchandise inside and have bottled water, etc., complimentary to customers. They even gave the wifes Mercedes-Benz a complimentary bath. I already posted a few pictures and dont see them now, so Im not going to hunt for them any further tonight just to post the same thing again. Now, if only I can get a replacement key fob for an affordable price to replace one that decided to quit working, Ill be in good shape.

We just bought 2014 CPO MB C350 today. Angie Braid was our sales advisor. Really impressed by the customer service. The amp messed up on the C class I was wanting, they are currently fixing it for free, and they gave me a 2016 C300 as a loaner to drive around until my MB is fixed. I highly recommend this dealership. I have never been treated as well as they treat you at MB. Everybody makes sure you are completely taken care of, so glad I pulled in. Thank you Angie, you are the best!!!

I found the vehicle that I was looking for online on 1/28/16 and emailed the dealership. Gary the salesperson responded with the information that I requested. He answered my additional questions via the phone when I called. Debi answered all of my questions in regard to warranty information. Duane was helpful in working with me as well to make my purchase. I am writing this review today 1/29/16 because of the wonderful service that I received via the phone and email which has resulted in my purchasing the vehicle that I wanted at a great price. I visited the dealership for B Service and the car was running fine and when i went to pick the car up I found out there is noise coming up from the engine, I decided to not drive the car under this condition, in the next morning i got message from the service manager saying that is my car is fine and the noise i was hearing was the direct injection pump on the vehicle. The vehicle had sat for 3 days and was cold after the vehicle warms up the pump will get quiet. I need to pick up our loaner this morning so if you will send me the address you are at i will have a driver leave this am with your vehicle with disrespect, rudeness and the typical hang up the phone on me!!! Then I decided to fill a complaint at MB-USA. At the end of the day i got phone call from the customer service manager and she apologize about what he did and told me that the technician checked out my car again and he said that the noise is normal and not normal. And now the found that they have to change the pison and connecting rod inside the engine which I’ Gonna lose the value of my car. My car has just 27000 miles.and the i got my car back with another issues in suspension, transmission and leaking coolant everywhere

As a previous E-Class Mercedes owner who had to replace my car due to total loss in a car accident, the buying experience was one of the best I have ever had.Although I worked directly with the Used Car Manager, Duane Hall, ALL of the staff I spoke with were a pleasure to do business with and very helpful.Thanks for a great car buying experience!
