The sales persons at the W Broad location were super friendly and had amazing customer service. My sales person was Brendan and he explained everything I needed to know and the process was smooth, fast, and easy. I started off at the Morse Rd location but the vehicle they helped me find was at W Broad.

Im not really a big fan of the fact that the payments have to be every 2 weeks instead of 1 whole monthly payment. Other than that tho,it was the smoothest process for me out of all the 6 cars ive had in my life. Shout out to Vladimir.. awesome down to earth gentlemen👌🏽

Nathaniel was amazing. He was patient with us and helped us find the right car that we were looking for. He took his time and searched different features that we wanted and then changed it up when we changed our minds. I knew the rates would be higher going into it. I have had a roller coaster of a year and I was just happy to get into a car. Process was smooth and for the first time in my life, I actually got to choose from a wide selection of cars. Each car had certain things, but they are pre-owned vehicles. Not only did I find something I liked, for the first time I got to pick the car and cover the car so that if anything happens parts would be easy to get and the car was under warranty. If you are facing a difficult situation, yea you might have to put more money down, but they will help you. I didnt think I was going to get one with my current situation but I did. I love my new car and these guys were honest about every question I asked. A good experience. Thumbs up from me. :)

I recently went to Drivetime and they helped find cars within my budget of what I wanted to spend. I wanted a Civic with low miles, and they had one at their Detroit location. I drove to get the car, all staff were very helpful, car is in great condition, fully insured, and a great warranty deal. This will be a great investment for me to boost up my credit.

I am leaving this review to save potential customers time and money. I purchased a vehicle from DriveTime about 18 months ago. I have done nothing but spent time in the shop with my vehicle getting repairs. In just 18 months I’ve had to have the radiator replaced, new brakes, and the flex plate replaced not once, but twice. I have spent over $5k in repairs since purchasing a vehicle here. Go elsewhere!

DriveTime’s facility, processes, and staff were WONDERFUL. I’d been searching for the right pre-owned car for 6 months with little luck. Decided to stop in DriveTime for an impromptu test drive of a Mazda CX-5. The car was immaculate inside and out and drove really well. I was so pleased but didn’t have any of my loan or auto insurance details worked out yet. DT let me put the car on layaway for 7 days for only $100. I’ve never heard of a dealership doing that before but it was incredibly helpful as it gave me the time to prepare the monetary details while I had the car held for me.Nathanael was my direct salesman and he too was wonderful—so polite, knowledgeable, and normal! Many other car sales people I’ve worked with act like robots, only concerned with an immediate sale. Nathanael was not pushy or overwhelming in the slightest. He answered multiple questions I had via email throughout the week that the car was being held for me. If he didn’t know an answer or was unsure about it, he’d make sure to find the proper answer for me from another employee.I’m so grateful to Nathanael and DriveTime for helping me find my dream car for a reasonable price!

Came here yesterday and got a car but didnt like the car buying experience, no one in their was personable, seem like he had an attitude with me because I didnt know which car to pick if he had explain more details about the cars I was looking at That would have been more helpful , I just chose a car I thought was best and within my budget and got the car, they didnt shovel the snow off the car, let alone say bye, didnt walk me to the car to go over the different perks the car had or nothing, none of them really spoke in their just look like they wanted to get me in and out, so overall the experience was horrible at this location, at least the customer agents are nice!, also the price went up from what I was approved for before coming to the lot as well

Evan was very nice and helpful. Being from Michigan I didn’t know how to go about getting a car from Ohio (my son just moved there and he needed a car). Evan and Matt assured me that I was in good hands. I started my process online, called and spoke to Evan, was able to fax over all my documents. Evan contacted me almost immediately and gave me the numbers. I was happy with the results and was headed to Ohio the next morning. My son and I picked up his car yesterday and was at the dealership for about 2 hours, that included test driving a few different cars and completing the paperwork. Much more easier then dealing with a typical dealership. In the past I’ve spent 4 hours in a dealership. Evan has the best attitude and biggest smile. Thanks Evan and Matt. The car was beautiful and was treated really well, however four days later the thermostat went out. When I called in I got the runaround and ended up so frustrated I did it myself.

Jessica was Amazing!I went into Drive Time to view some vehicles, get an estimate on deposit and price, and to gather any other important information that I needed. I have heard horror stories about going into dealerships and car lots and so I wasnt really sure what to expect but had my guard up just in case, but surprisingly everything was great! Jessica was so polite and when I told her that I was not prepared to walk out with a vehicle and that I was just gathering information, she treated us with respect and still took us back, did all of the work to process is based on the numbers that we gave her, and she still took her time to go over 3 complete financing options on each of 4 different vehicles, and printed everything out and answered all of our questions on a total of 12 different sheets of information. Not once did I feel pressured to walk away with a vehicle and not once did Jessica get impatient with all of our questions and concerns. Jessica then followed up with me on the next day to see if we had any unanswered questions or though of any new ones. Jessica made our DriveTime experience wonderfully pleasant and very easy and because of our experience at DriveTime with Jessica and all of the essential information we gathered, I think I have found the place where I want to purchase my vehicle from. I just recently bought a car here and I was extremely impressed with this dealership!!! Everything from the moment we walked in the door up until we left was smooth and enjoyable. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I applied online, and despite being very credit challenged, was approved online with a reasonable down payment.Drivetime will require more money down if you have a lower income. Just be aware of that. They also have a couple of different programs based on what vehicle you select. Some of their vehicles will require a higher down payment. They might approve you for 495.00 down, and you can get vehicles with that amount down, but most require a little more.I was in and out with my new car within 2-1/2 hours, and most of that was because I was having a hard time finding what I wanted to purchase. Once I did find the car I wanted, it took less than an hour to complete the transaction.In the end, I was treated great, found a vehicle that I liked that worked in my budget, and the whole entire process was handled by my sales representative from start to finish. I like that approach. I dont want to sign paperwork with a finance person, and my salesperson handled the entire transaction.Recommended. Better than buy here pay here lots, betters vehicles, and I never thought I could have wound up in the vehicle I selected based on my credit. Interest rates were high, but not stupid crazy high compared to the alternatives. Id buy again, great experience.

We returned our vehicle over a month ago and signed all the paper surrendering it. Well we have received numerous calls from the finance company for late payments. Come to find out drive time never informed the finance company (should have followed up I know) that we surrendered the vehicle. The finance company claimed to have spoken with someone regarding payment arrangements. I know for a fact they never spoke to either of us. So who is making arrangements on my account?? Called drive time asked them why they didnt inform the finance company only response was... We will take care of it today. Ridiculous to say the least. Not only is drive time overpriced they are a pretty shady company. My advice be very thorough when dealing with them. Do not be fooled by their great customer service.
