Great workers

Good mechanic, took care of my needs, was reasonably priced and did the job quickly. Have gotten general check ups, oil changes, a couple of leaky tires and brought my car in for emergency service when my radiator cracked. Couldnt fix the radiator (whole part needed to be swapped, confirmed by dealership and a second mechanic), but were able to give me a temporary fix to help me get to dealership. Didnt charge me an arm and a leg for it either. All my other service calls went well. All in all, only had positive experiences across the several times Ive come.

I was unaware my engine was blown when I took my car here. Engine was knocking and there was visible metal flake in the oil. No reputable mechanic would offer to service an engine with those symptoms. That didn’t stop Erasmo Valentin from doing $1100 in repairs to the engine. Only to tell me that didn’t solve my problem because my engine was bad. They also had my car in the shop for over 2 weeks. He offered to replace the engine for another $6000. I sued these clowns and got most of my money back. Gregorio’s only defense was that I authorized the repairs that his mechanic recommended.

The most honest and legitimate shop Ive been to. 63.50 for a flat tire, replace filter and headlight. They even stayed open late to get my car done. Great friendly service!

Valentine is a nice guy and hes professional. However their Q&A is terrible. I had to go back a few times after they released my car and said it was finished when it really wasnt. Imagine you have things to do, you make arrangements to pick up your car, have plans thereafter and have to appear beyond irresponsible because you are having car trouble AGAIN. Not good... :p

Where to begin? If I was to give this auto shop G & R a rating it would be -4 stars. This place is an absolute joke. After settling a price on a preowned 07 911 997 these people said they didnt want my business after I wouldnt give them a $5000.00 deposit on my credit card. I didnt give them my information because they didnt ever send me a sales contract so they wanted my money blindly without me and my wife seeing anything in writing. WHO DOES THAT?! This is an extremely shady practice and I would never recommend them to anyone trying to fix from out of state or at all for that matter! This auto shop does NOT stand up to standards whatsoever. My wife was also very rudely spoken to over the phone when trying to find out why they couldnt Fix the car. (Mind you we were approved for a loan for the full amount of the vehicle!) I believe they didnt want to fix the car because my wife and I got a way better interest rate at our credit union and I think they under priced the vehicle. Either way terrible business sense and we will be writing corporate headquarters in Atlanta and complaining about this awful place in chicago. Please take it from us, do not even waste your time, they are horrendous. Definitely that Mr Valentino!

Poor quality service and unreasonable price .

This shop offers poor quality service and is not reasonable in their pricing.One time I called them to get a quote to just remove one stripped caliper bolt (I was changing my brakes), they quoted me $440 just to remove the bolt... maybe they didnt speak good english? I got the feeling they didnt care to help.A previous time when I took my car there they replaced my catalytic converter and spark plugs. They forgot to put some of the caps back on and didnt do a good job with the cat converter, it started making loud noise and needed to be repaired again.Wouldnt recommend this place, Good Year down the road or Davids auto across the street are good alternatives.

Ive had to go to this place twice so far and both times Ive received great customer service from both the owner and the workers. They showed me exactly what was wrong with the car and fixed it for a reasonable price.

I stopped in to get tires check due to a slow leak and Raul and tire specialist looked into the matter. There was no serious issue with tires only that it needed air. Therefore, air put and I was on my way out the door, free of charge. How often does this happen, not often. Thanks to the staff.

My husband took our truck there for one thing they worked on other stuff charged over 500.00 and what was supposed to get fixed they said would cost almost 3,000 . so to us they are crooks !!

They let me down ...they could not fix my tpm ...called the too let them know that is still on ...they said they well call me back. They never did ...

The last time l was here l was charged $1050.00 Labor was over $500.00 parts was over $500.00
