Mike was proactive and easy to work with fixing my muffler. Leonardo did a great job on the muffler installation as he was very detail oriented, took time to explain what was needed and was very efficient. I am happy with the experience and the quality of the work!

I made an appointment for an Oil change, 3 hours prior. Once I get there they tell me they dont have the filter for my car. I had to wait over 45 mins they said. If I made the apt hours ago, dont you think you would be prepared and have everything you need.

I was distraught when I saw a flat tire, given the weather and holiday time. Alex was very helpful and kind and offered to have my car ready within 2 hours of their closing time. These guys saved my bacon in a big way! I broke down with a trailer full of donations to the Habitat ReStore nearby - Chicago winters are hard on vehicles, and this was my lucky day :o). Midas was among several repair shops in the area, and I chose them for their high rating on Google Maps. They truly lived up to it. Everyone I dealt with came through as real professionals - knowledgeable, proficient, polite, considerate, look-you-in-the-eye type of guys. Starting with Robert fielding my call calmly and kindly, setting me at ease, fully confident that he and his team could help me out, to Alfredo helping me handle unhooking the trailer in the 4-degree cold, to Art, who came up with a great solution to get me back on the road, this team’s performance was top-notch! Back in the saddle!

My battery Died and they walked to my car with me to help me start the car. changed the battery quickly.

My car was having an exhaust issue so I took it in to this Midas.After inspection, I was told that there was a crack in the exhaust manifold and there was no way to repair it. They would have to order a whole new part from the dealer and the part alone would cost $950.Well, I called Nissan and they told me that part cost about half of that and they could probably perform that same repair for around $800When I picked up my car, I had a lot of questions about what they found but they were extremely evasive and dismissive and couldnt explain why the part would cost $950 when the dealer quoted me a much lower price for it.I took my car to Nissan to get this repair done and it turns out there was no crack in the exhaust manifold. There was a leak in a seal. They replaced the seals and did a couple other tune ups and in a couple hours my car was running great again and for less than half of what this Midas wanted to charge me.Maybe the guy just didnt feel like doing the repair so he just quoted something super high. It would explain his inability to answer questions and dismissive attitude. This should be a cautionary tale to always always get a second opinion and NEVER trust a mechanic that cannot give you clear explanations of their diagnosis and concise answers to your questions.I probably paid a lot more for labor going through the dealership but I was happy with the inspection, service, and results. Im very disappointed in Midas for not being transparent. The fact that I could have been overcharged by SO MUCH is really disturbing. Especially at a time when a lot of people are struggling financially, but it should never be okay.

Came in for an oil change and inspection cause I heard some noise when coming to stops, they informed me my brakes were really bad. Took care of it all for a great price and quickly serviced so I could get back to work. Thank you to the new team at this location! Highly recommend!!

Really a worst car servicing centre I have ever been for toyota Corolla oil change asked 80 bucks where toyota dealership do for 60bucks.I said I need uber inspection and told me bring form I did that because I didnt do oil change from then they marked me fail in inspection too, not even write my name in form and marked pass and fail both.

This place overpriced I used a coupon for 18.99 oil change I know for a fact that midas charge for shop fee and disposal fee but total was for 27.98 my last time going here also was quoted and estimate of 1,500.00 on my car and know does not need all that service stayed away from this shop

Told me I had less than 25% functionality left on both sets of brakes. took the car to an actual mechanic who laughed and said they were completely fine.

We got ourselves an appointment 10am..we came in around 9am.we got out 5:30pm. Thats about 8hrs of waiting for a change oil, tire change and brake pads install. This is no efficient work at all.

Ive been to this Midas many times but this last time was the best experience I had. Joe (Or Joseph) the store manager was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He explained things in simple terms for a novice like me to comprehend. And Tony the technician looked at my car and saw the things that it needed in order for the car to run efficiently. Joe Khawshaba, the store manager, was TERRIFIC!! An emergency occurred 7/12/17, and without hesitation Joe assured us that he would work on the car ASAP. He said he would get the car back to us the same day so that we would have it for work. The car was ready even earlier, and he encouraged us to test drive it to ensure that the muffler was quiet, and he couldnt have been more professional throughout. Do not hesitate to bring your car to him, and we will definitely be back.

Went in with a huge knocking noise coming from muffler and engine. Before going into Midas , I went into a mechanic shop that is local and they quoted me a $1200 repair estimate.The manager at Midas, Joey took the car in and 2 hours later he delivered it to me without any noise and only a $210 repair cost.Midas,because of the way I was taken care of by Joey and the staff your company gained a customer for life.I would recommend them to anyone.

Great service. They physically took me to my vehicle and showed me the actual problem areas. I felt as though they really wanted me to understand what was going on with my vehicle. I felt they were very honest and up front. I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me or trying to sell me something I didnt really need. Highly recommend!

I had an emergency situation and needed a new tire asap. I stopped at one place and then called 6 places, all of which did not have my tire in stock; the 7th call was to Midas on N Lincoln. They didnt have the tire in stock, but Joe the manager told me to come on in, theyd order the tire and get my spare put on. I didnt have a spare, but the next day, the tire was in. When I went to get it installed and an oil change, they were busier than usual and I had to wait quite a bit before they started the process. This didnt really bother me at all, but without me saying a word about it, Joe sincerely apologized for the wait and said the oil change was on him. Really, really great service. Id come back simply for the ease of service and their ability to accommodate their customers. Great experience, Ill be back.

I went here for a second opinion after taking my car to Goodyear down the block because my engine light was on. Goodyear originally came at me with a repair bill for almost 900 dollars. After talking with joe, the technician lead me out to my car and explained to me what was wrong and that it was just a simple valve that needed replacement. they were able to get my emissions passed and costed me only 200 dollars. Would highly recommend going here and will definitely be taking my car here from now on

The manager here is super nice. He showed me the car problem under the car so that I can actually see whats going on and went over each item on the list to be repaired with me for detailed reason.

The prices are fare, and yes Amanda, (manager), will do what she can to get you a coupon. Amanda will also explain whats going on with your vechical in detail. Shes the perfect Manager for this Company!! (Shell go far) Tony, the Technician, solved my headlight issue---the wire wasnt connecting.--- His knowledge and skills are what every Midas store needs. The store was about to close and yes it was cold out, but he still made an effort to trouble shoot the headlight issue. I appreciate your help greatly!!!! P.S Theres another knowledgeable Mechanic that was working on another customers car. Amazing. He took the parts off, replaced the new ones and allowed the customer to inspect his vechical. I marked my drivers side front tire with a yellow marker before going in for a $19.99 oil change with tire rotation. Mechanic pulled my car into the shop right away and a few minutes later pulled it back out. I was surprised how fast he had finished! I went out and inspected my tires. The same yellow mark was still on the same drivers side front tire. I went back into the shop and the clerk said my car was all ready to go. I told her I needed my tires rotated first. She told me the technician already rotated my tires. Then the mechanic came back in and gave me a dirty look before taking my keys and pulled my car back in the shop. Then the manager came out throwing temper tandrums and ordered me to leave his shop.He was so angry he was shouting and wouldnt take any money from me. Unfortunately, the yellow marker doesnt lie! Let the buyer beware at the 6301 N Lincoln Midas location!! Zero stars. I thought Midas was a better company.

Made appointment for oil change & tire rotation with the coupon.It took exactly 2 hours and towards the end , the service specialist or the manager tells me I need lots of repairs and mentions laundry list of things needed to be repaired & replaced. Total estimate he said would cost me came to $1700 something with about $600 in labor cost.I said NO THANKS. The service worker inside the shop tells me my tires are good except everything else and that I was ready to go. I asked if he rotated my tires and he said its not needed. I asked him to rotate the tire because thats why i am here. They said the fluid top off is just washer and they didnt top it off. Over all, I wasnt satisfied!

Pretty good work, but high prices. I trust them for minor things that are too much of a hassle to do myself but arent big enough of an issue for me to go to my guy

Thats badI mean very bad.I just had my oil changed there. And the technician over these made up the readings for my Prius Thread depth and some other readings too. Since I used to take my car to Midas Des Plaines and they did everything very well. But that location is terrible how come I have three new tires and one old and your technicians tell me that they have the same readings ??? Please stop fabricating & making readings up because its a serious matter.
