Made an appointment well over a month ago, confirmed, set everything up my sister even flew in to join me in this special experience. Nobody showed at our appointment time, nobody answered the phone or emailed back. So incredibly disappointing.

TOTALLY AWESOMENESS BRIDAL ATELIER!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! THE BRIDAL STYLIST WERE PATIENT, KIND PERSONALITIES, AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. MY DAUGHTER IS GETTING MARRIED AND SHE SAUD YES TO THE DRESS!

Thanks to Jessica, I said yes to the dress after the second dress! She helped me make my decision by having me try on other dresses, which really made my decision concrete. Very nice and professional, great bedside manner. We had such a good time, the shop is so beautiful! Thank you again to the girls at Winnie for making my first bridal experience so effortless.

MY. GOD.I cannot believe how amazing this salon is! The consultants were so kind and knowledgeable and really made dress shopping a truly enjoyable experience (the champagne didnt hurt either). Im a super picky person so I was really worried about finding the perfect dress. My consultant worked with me to create my very own custom gown! I got to pick out every single aspect of the dress and I couldnt be happier! I cant wait to finally get to see my dress in person :)But seriously, out of all of the salons I went to, this was by far the best. They made me feel special and like they genuinely wanted to help me find my perfect dress. I cannot thank them enough, I was so stressed when I walked in the door and I left light hearted and with a new gown!You would be crazy not to try on these beautiful gowns!

Can’t say enough great things about my experience at Winnie Couture Chicago! I was so in love with all of the dresses but when I put on THE ONE I couldn’t take it off! My stylist, Jessica, was so helpful and really listened to what I was looking for. She sent me the sweetest video of the shop the day before my appointment and was prepared with dresses that I loved. Words can not express how AMAZING my experience was at Winnie Couture with Jessica. I found the dress of my dreams. I have never been one to dream about my wedding dress, but I found it at Winnie, and what made it the best experience is Jessicas energy and realness. I had three other boutiques lined up but appreciated that Jessica had me try on different types of dresses, which made me think I didnt need to go anywhere else. I wish there was another dress I needed to purchase as I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Winnie!

I had the best experience finding my dress at Winnie Couture! I went to at least a dozen bridal boutiques looking for the right dress and was not having any luck. When I finally came to Winnie Couture, Michelle worked with me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. When I couldnt find the right dress off the rack she helped me customize a dress to meet all my needs. Michelle was so nice and knowledgeable, she made it such an easy and fun experience! I highly recommend any bride who has a specific vision in mind to go here and let the amazing staff help it come to life!

Really really nice place with beautiful dresses, and kind service.Minus one star because the associate who greeted us when I went for my dress fitting was extremely rude, however the lady taking my sizes was gentle and accommodating.If I could change anything it would be the initial interaction we had with the front desk gal, kinda set a sour mood for what was supposed to be a very happy thing.

This was the first and last place I looked for a wedding dress. I found my wedding dress in one hour! They closed the shop for me during this process so they could spend their time solely on me. The employees were friendly and helpful during the whole process. Winnie Couture has beautiful dresses for under $4,000. I am looking forward to trying on my final dress! I cant wait to go back!

**Long review ahead**Just picked up my dress and I could not be happier! Carly was my bridal consultant from start to finish and has been a delight to work with!Winnie Couture was my first stop for wedding dress shopping and I fell in love with a dress within the first few tries. I thought I was at least going to shop around, but I was too impatient and just loved the dresses, the beautiful store, and people.The dress I picked had everything I wanted except for the neck line, but no worries because Winnie Couture is able to customize within reason. I even had the dress custom sized instead of ordering a generic size because too lazy to go to another store to alter. I appreciated that Carly told me it would probably be more expensive to have them custom size the dress instead of going to a alterations shop. My impatient self rather have them size the dress correctly the first time instead of me having to do it later.The store is gorgeous and has multiple fitting rooms and couches for the bride and bridal party. They will respect your budget and even give you a form to fill out in the beginning so they know what to expect. I never felt pressured to buy a dress right away. Carly and the rest of the team were always kind and attentive. Check them out!

Great experience

Overall I had an ok experience while in the store and I scheduled a second appointment to try on my favorites again. I was unable to make the appointment because I was respecting COVID guidelines after traveling and I was charged $50 cancellation fee even after speaking with an employee about my situation. They have a 48 hour cancellation window and I was texted 24 hours ahead of time reminding me about my appointment. Its unfortunate because I probably would have purchased from them but their policy seems unreasonable due to the circumstances and I will not be going back.

I highly recommend Winnie Couture! Their bridal gowns are so beautiful and elegant. The staff went above and beyond with their service during each visit. My mom and I were greeted with champagne by Ana and Carly. Ana was very attentive to what I was looking for and after trying on a few gowns I found the ONE. Ana followed up with me throughout the process up until days before the wedding. I got so many compliments on my gown and I felt so beautiful in it! I definitely won’t forget my experience at Winnie Couture!

I had a great experience at Winnie Couture!! . As someone who has her mother deceased, they made shopping for a wedding dress an easier process. They let you take your time looking at dresses and you can come in at any time, they are not pushy but really want you to find your dream dress. Winnie couture was an amazing experience helping my best friend find her perfect dress. Carly was fabulous both times we went with helping her decide on her best style. Carly listened to what the bride wanted in her style and just out did herself on the dress!We walked away with the perfect dress and at our budget! They have an amazing selection at great prices without it being pricey for not a lot of gown!The other girls who helped Carly were fabulous as well! I saw Winnie Couture’s storefront while walking down Wells Street one evening. I met their sales representatives at the Bridal Expo. I made an appointment and was able to reschedule two times pretty easily. My sister and I arrived for my appointment, we had the store all to ourselves, and Carly was ready to help us upon arrival. She did a wonderful job! She listened to what I wanted, selected a few different styles for me to try on, was open to take suggestions from my sister, and acknowledged that my opinion was what mattered most. All of the dresses I tried on were beautiful, unique, and made with high quality materials and technique. I let Carly know my budget at the beginning and cost was never really mentioned again. I put on the last dress, added shoes and a vail, and... I found my dress! It was in budget and Winnie Couture is making a dress to fit my size. Later the same day, Carly let me do another try-on session for my mom, older sister and grandma to experience. Now, I’m patiently waiting for my dress to come in May. I highly recommend Carly and Winnie Couture. It couldn’t have been more perfect! Update: May 15, 2019 - I picked up my dress a couple of weeks ago!! — and to be honest I’m not as excited as I was the day I decided it was the one. The size I tried on in store was a size 8 and the size they suggested I order was a size 16. Unfortunately, the zipper doesn’t lay right on my back, the belt location is much lower than I thought it would be and the cap sleeves look a little funky. I know we discussed that alterations would be required the day I ordered it, but I don’t think I comprehended how much altering it would need and how much it was going to cost. I decided to look for another dress within the same cost of expected alterations and found a sample dress off the rack at different store in Lincoln Park that fits like a glove and will require very minimal alterations (for a third of the cost of my Winnie gown!). I am going to resell my Winnie dress as it’s non-returnable and non-refundable. If there’s any advice I can give you when choosing your dress, sleep on it. Winnie offers a 30% off deal if you buy the dress on the same day as your visit - which is wonderful if it fits like a glove and you can expect the size conversion to be nearly exact. In my case, I was caught up in the moment, unsure what to expect for alterations and jumped too quickly at the thought of saving $400 but really wish I would have slept on it. Also, if you can go to a shop with a seamstress on site you will have a much better idea of how much alterations will cost. Winnie Couture doesn’t have a seamstress so you have to wait for your dress to come in and then take it to an outside seamstress for alterations. They provided a couple of recommendations but it can be more expensive than you’d think.

I was so excited when I discovered that they were hiring for an assistant stylist position. I looked the company up online and really admired the business model. I have been a top rated stylist for another bridal boutique and was sure I can utilize my talents for this company. After speaking with the manager Michelle she told me that I was not a suitable candidate simply because of my gender and that they do not hire males as a company policy.DISCRIMINATION DISCRIMINATION DISCRIMINATION!!!!I can understand if I didn’t have the right experience or availability, but because of something I cannot control like my gender is an absolute insult AND against the law.

On our mission to finding the dress that would ultimately get the Yes we ended up at this beautifully decorated boutique by mere accident. From the minute we walked in the front door where we were so warmly welcomed to come in from the cold and look around to sipping champagne less than 2 hours later, we just cant say enough about Winnie Couture and most of all Carly! Of course the goal is to find that perfect gown that makes you feel so special when you put it on but the way you are treated along that journey is so much more meaningful than you might expect. Every Winnie design is uniquely gorgeous and a bride can have a difficult time deciding on exactly which one to choose but with Carlys expertise of the fashions and her fun personality it made all the difference in making our purchase. We walked out that evening feeling so much more than satisfied, we felt like we became part of the Winnie bride family. Winnie was the perfect bridal boutique! The esthetic is gorgeous- as well as all of the gowns, but what really made this experience so over the top was Carly my consultant! She was very patient with me as it was my first time trying on dresses. She allowed me to try on multiple styles to see what I was feeling and could tell which direction I was headed in early on. I had made some appointments the next day so Carly recommended I come back for an appointment afterwards to see if I were still enjoying what I thought I was. I found a style I was enjoying somewhere else and she found a dress very similar but better! It had everything I wanted and didnt know I needed! I knew it was the one! I couldnt thank her and the Winnie staff enough because they made this such an amazing experience for me, my friends, and my family. They had everything you could think of down to a bouquet! They truly made me feel special!

The Winnie Couture experience was such a splendid one. The ladies were so much help, they listened and catered to what I wanted. Michelle was absolutely amazing, she helped zip, squeeze, tug, pin and more to ensure the dresses fit well. Ohhhhh did my bridesmaids enjoy their glasses of champagne!
