I went looking for a Mattress at Mattress Firm for myself and my guest room. As for myself, I needed something firm because I have lower back issues. I was greeted instantly by the salesman Luis who patiently listened to the characteristics that I felt the mattress should have. He didn’t attempt to get me to break the bank, but yet he still showed me quality selections that would meet my expectations and deliver what I needed in reasonable price ranges. He allowed me to try all of the mattresses that fit my criteria. Fortunately, I found a great mattress for myself, some much needed cooling pillows, and a quality mattress for my guest room. I’m VERY happy I stopped in because I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into.

We had a great experience at this store. My sister and I were shopping for a mattress for my grandson (graduation gift). We were greeted by the store manager, Marco. He asked our names (including my grandson) and asked us what we had in mind. We were so close to ordering a purple mattress online but we weren’t sure which purple type we wanted. When we arrived Marco greeted us politely and we let him know we were curious about the purple mattress. He made us feel totally comfortable right away and encouraged us to get comfortable on the mattresses in order to really test for a good sleeping fit. He asked questions to understand our sleep situation and he used a thoughtful process to help us better understand what type of mattress is a good fit for our comfort preferences. Marco was super informative and patient and by the end of our visit we ended up leaving with a tempur pedic mattress which ended up being a much better fit. In the end the brick and mortar mattress stores are the way to go, no online review will be able to tell you what the right mattress is for you. Try before you buy is the way to go. Also, we just had so much fun during our visit, when we left I truly felt more relaxed and ready for a nap.

Highly recommend Mattress Firm on N. Elston Ave in Logan Square. Phil was amazing and opened up the store a little early as he saw me coming towards the front door checking the hours they were open before work. I had a good idea what I wanted and he gave me some helpful tips and got me in and out the door in 15 minutes. The process was super smooth. Phil was efficient, friendly, and went above and beyond to open the store before they were open, and the delivery was super easy. The bed was for my daughter and she was impressed that they literally rolled out a red carpet mat when delivering and they set up her bed quickly and even left a little treat. Talk about super easy! Terrible service, Bob is a very rude employee. They don’t care about customers orders. I called on mo day to set up a deliver on Friday but he never scheduled the delivery for my mattress. I had to call to find out what was happening with my delivery since nobody called me. For my surprise Bob didn’t set up a date and time for my delivery . I told him I was expecting my delivery he said it will be until Sunday and hang up on me. I don’t recommend this store. Go to the Room place-Harlem furniture, they are professional.
