Phone repair even with customer purchased parts . All for reasonable prices.

Brought my older (2014) galaxy phone in for a screen replacement. The replacement part needed to be ordered, which was expected. I was quoted a fair price for part and labor and made a deposit following the order. However, in hindsight after leaving the store, I realized while searching online that the total repair cost would be more than the phone was valued. Deciding to just buy a newer phone, I called the store to cancel the order, and the representative was very understanding and courteous about it. I quickly received a refund for my deposit. Customer service was excellent. Highly recommend this store.

This was a much more pleasant experience than I thought it would be! The shop was nice and clean the the technicians that I worked with were very friendly and professional. The work was done quickly and the cost was very reasonable, much less than I was expecting. I was so impressed that I brought my wifes phone in for a repair also!They contacted me when the phones were ready, I stopped in at lunch and picked them both up with no issues, I was in and out in 5 minutes. I highly recommend this shop and will go back if I ever need phone service again

They repaired my phone quickly! My camera was still very cloudy so he ordered new camera but it didn’t work so he worked so hard and was able to fix my camera and it works so much better and he didn’t charge me the extra 25$ for the camera repair! Great service and very professional!

I took in my iPhone 7 to get repaired. From what I could tell, the phone needed a new battery and perhaps some hardware fixes. I went in expecting them to make these fixes, charge me for it, then send me on my way. When I brought my phone to one of the staff there, they immediately explained to me how the hardware had run its course and was exhausted to the level that even if they replaced all the parts, the phone would be unable to maintain proper functional ability for more than but a few weeks.They easily could have swindled me by telling me they could fix it, make a bunch of repairs, and get me to pay for it only for it to be busted a few weeks later. When a company does not take advantage of customers naivety, they are definitely a peg above the rest. I really appreciated the candidness and congeniality of my experience. They did not charge me a dime for the analysis either, so I will be recommending them to friends and family.

James, the technician at the Chesapeake, VA store did an amazing job. Even though he was slammed, he was able to fix my phone within a couple hours and it works perfectly. If all CPR employees are as conscientious as James, this business will be successful. Big thanks to James.

This business who we trust with our phones and laptops hires people without checking there background.My daughter is now being stalked from one of there employees. We dont know this person and suddenly he shows up.We took a laptop to have minor work done to it and the guy stalking her is the repair man at. C. P. R. I tried to speak with the owner but he avoided me for several calls. I finally spoke to him and he admitted to me that yes this creep works for him. This creep has several arrests and 1 being with a 14 year old. The owner had such a attitude when confronted about this.. I. Will. Never bring anything to his place of business and neither shoul anybody... Very. Scary...

I have had just two repairs done at CPR within the past two years. A new battery was installed in an iPad, and most recently, a dropped cellphone totally trashed the screen. On each of these repairs, the work was done quickly and for a very reasonable price.I highly recommend this business for any portable tablet or phone that needs repairs. If the device is still supported by parts suppliers, these folks can make it happen.

Friendly and straightforward services with no BS. Customer reps/techs were extremely friendly and provided repair services in a expedient manner. I have a IPhone 7+ that I cracked my screen on and needed it fixed. (I know it’s 2020, but I’m hanging onto this phone until it’s completely useless).I went in at 10:00 am when they opened, filled out some paper work, turned over my phone for repair, and was out of there promptly in 1 hour as quoted. Thanks to these guys, I don’t have to make a $1000+ investment on a new phone that’s going to depreciate. A++++ service and value.

Does good work but customer service could use some improvement. Was told the price was one value over the phone and then when I show up its actually 3 times more expensive. They blamed it on the new guy. Then I was called to bring in my phone as the part on order arrived in. I drop it off 30 minutes later only to be told that the repair cant be done as there are too many phones to repair before mine. Came back and finally got the repair done a few days later and then the part turned out to be faulty. Waited another week and finally got a new part to repair the phone. Works great, but was a huge headache!

They will tell you to come in and you give them the phone they look at it and say its a screen problem then look on they computer to find DEFECTIVE replacement parts, you pay them the money for a down payment then you wait a good 5 days then they call you and tell you its ready (if you left your phone with them). When you get it the screen messes up internally and has problems working like a unresponsive screen, put it short. ITS WASTED TIME. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

I washed my first Samsung smart phone, when it was less than a month old in a full wash cycle. It ruined my speakers and microphone. These folks fixed my phone for about $50. I was super happy.

Not Recommended for Cell Phone Repair - They make their problems - the customers problem.I Dropped my phone off and was told it would be ready in an hour. I received a call 30 minutes later saying the replacement battery they had in stock was defective and they had no others in stock. I was told I could pick up the phone and drive to another one of their stores which is farther away (they should have sent someone to the other store to get the battery and fix the phone as promised).I asked for a discount on the service due to the major inconvenience and they said they would not offer any discount and said I should be happy because I was not being charged for reinstalling the original bad battery back in my phone so that should be good enough..........Terrible customer service and will never do business with this location or any others from this company. In this case they made their problem for having defective parts and insufficient inventory the customers problem and that is never acceptable.

Came here close to closing time with a groupon offer to fix my old iPhone 6 screen. Staff were extremely polite and attentive. I wanted to get a battery replacement with it but it seems there would’ve been an issue since I used the groupon with it. However the assured me that they would take care of it tomorrow when manager comes back and they’ll make it work and call me when it’s all ready for pick up. Battery replacement was only $15 extra. I picked up very next day and I am extremely happy with the service I received here.

This business did a great job of repairing the audio P.C. board in my IPHONE 7 Plus. A call was made to see if an appointment was needed. It is first come, first serve. The phone was repaired in less than 30 minutes and the price was reasonable and fair. Much much easier than standing in line at the malls. I highly recommend this local business. Wonderful experience and totally satisfied.

Called ahead and explained the problem with the computer. They said bring it in. Got there and was told they would have to wipe everything off the system and reset to system specs. So, make sure you ask before going to the trouble of packing up your computer and taking it to any repair shop.

I am so grateful to CPR & Lance for saving my cell phone. I had left it with another co & waited a week for a new cover to be delivered. They informed me that they put on the cover before doing a diagnostic & realized the phone would not turn on & they couldnt fix it😐 I left & went to CPR. They ordered the cover, got my phone to actually turn on & my front facing camera was fixed which i never even mentioned. All my pics & videos were saved as i had not backed up my info on phone. Im sure theyre great at cell phones but they should stick to that. After 3 weeks and multiple failed attempts to fix my laptop, I still left with a faulty touch-screen. They were kind enough to offer me a partial refund but the overall experience and the condition of the returned laptop (dried glue all over the edges and keyboard) wasnt worth the hassle. Save yourself and take your laptop to a company that specializes in those devices.

Ive been here twice. Once for a battery and then to have my screen repaired. My phone looks like new! Theyre awesome and friendly! They do great work and have the best prices Ive seen. I will be going back to purchase a new phone & case. They have discounted accessories and phones that look nice!

I feel it was up to me, I wouldnt even leave them one star. The customer service is terrible. If you call them they dont even say anything. When I asked for them to have the manager call me back, their response was Okay. and hung up right away without telling me when that would be. As for their service, I came in to get my iPhone 6 Plus screen replaced which had cracked that day at work. I picked it up 3 hours later. That was acceptable and I was happy with it then. After finishing a long day of work, I just went up and went straight to sleep. When I woke up in the morning, I decided inspect the phone more carefully. I noticed that the screen was not placed down all the way. I could see the inside of my phone. And because I live 45 minutes away from this store, I did not want to drive back out there. So I called their store and was told that if it was just the screen sticking out a little then it just needs to be pushed in and that I could easily do it or come in and they would do it. As I placed the screen back in the phone though, it cracked again. A brand new screen already cracked. If thats not enough, the sleep button doesnt work anymore and my phone will randomly lock when Im using it or slightly tilt my phone. So when I called and told them of my issue, they said if they confirm that they did not do it correctly the first time, they will fix my phone for half the price it would normally cost. This is on top of what I had already paid. They wanted me to pay more because of a job they didnt do correctly the first time. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will update this when the manager contacts me.

I’ve now taken two phones here to get their cameras drilled and epoxy filled in their place, (my job does not allow me to have a camera cell phone at my work site), and both times the staff have been pleasant and the quality of their work is outstanding. The price is also very reasonable. I have been very pleased and will return.

Service and customer service was top notch. Had the cameras removed from my phone, which involved a heat gun and reapplying adhesive, so not an easy job. Only complaint is there is a small gap between the back plate and the seating now where there might not be as much adhesive. But for the price, speed of repair and customer service this company provides its not a big deal, so still 5 stars!

I called to ask what the charge would be to replace the screen on my cell. He was rude, and insistent that he could not even give me a range of prices because all I knew was it was a Motorola. I called the next 3 places and not one asked me the model- just whether iPhone or android and make of phone. I hope he was just having a bad day; you missed out on 3 repairs today (my iPhone 11, my daughters 8, and my husbands android). Won’t stay in business long like that!

I brought my iPhone 6s in today for a shattered glass repair and within 2 hours it was fixed and good as new. The staff member was pleasant, the process was easy and the repair was affordable.

I showed up with a bad charging port. They had to order the part. When I got it fixed the port that was installed was a bad, they swapped it out with no questions asked. They where easy to work with and the repair was cheaper than expected. Phone works like new.

The disposition of the gentleman that waited on me was off putting. I went to the Greenbrier location based on the ratings. I encountered a young lady on my way in, she was inviting. When I returned for my phone, the gentleman behind the counter at that time was inviting. If I had to base my experience solely on the young man that waited on me, I wont come back. Although he fixed my phone, his posture/disposition was just snotty. I hated it.

A day after I stupidly dropped my bare phone on concrete and broke the glass screen I took it to CPR. Because school was starting in a week, I needed it fixed fast. So I took it there and they fixed it in okay time. I didnt have my phone for 2 days but that isnt the problem. Its when they gave it back, I had more problems than I originally had. The screen worked where it hadnt before, but the brightness does not adjust. Its permanently 100% and is blinding. The left side of the screen is brighter than the other and gets very very hot. It hurts to touch at times. There isnt much else except for some reason after I got it fixed is that every pair of ear buds I try had the left earbud not working. Sometimes when the screen is too hot, the one ear bud working just goes completely static. CPR did fix what I needed fixed but I left there with more problems than I needed and had patience for.

Where do I start.... I ordered a battery for my phone at the Volvo location. I came in to get my battery replaced and to my surprise and disgust I was told by one of the workers there that the battery I deposited 25.00 on was sent back. I asked why....the response I got was after seven days we dont hold orders. I said ok then I want my money back. I was told I would not get my money refunded. I explained thats theft. I called customer and was told the owner of this location would call me to address this issue....never happened. This place is a hole in the wall rip off. Even if CPR refunded the money they stole, and offered to put the battery in for free....I wouldnt let them touch my phone with a 20 foot pole.

DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS HERE.After weeks they say they can’t fix it, I mean weeks of waiting for a new board. They had the item almost 2 months. Had the flu and a week later went to get it, they threw it away....yeah you didn’t throw it away, you kept it.

On December 23rd, my mother brought my phone up to the CPR location in Chesapeake, and the person who helped her out was very friendly. Unfortunately, they didnt have the part my heavily damaged phone needed, and I was told that they would purchase the part and fix my phone within 3-7 business days. Unfortunately, 10 days later, I still did not have my phone back, and I was understandably miffed. When my mother called the store, the person she talked to apologized and explained that the part had been shipped, but had been stuck somewhere for 2 days. Today, 11 days later, we were told that the part arrived completely crushed, and that they were complaining to the company theyd bought it from and had put a rush on another part.So, CPR, thank you for your help with my phone, for handling the LCD part like you have, and for charging us a decent price. Im not angry at all about waiting a little while longer for my phone, and Ill definitely be a repeat customer if I have any other phone issues.:)

I wish I could 5 star this review. Ive heard great things about CPR which is why we elected to use them for a volume button issue. Ultimately the issue was fixed but not without unforeseen issues arising (none of which could have been predicted). CPR fixed all the issues but initial communication was slightly sub-par (reason for the loss of a star). Ultimately, communication improved to the point of notification that the phone was ready, for which we are thankful. To save myself the trouble of my own cell phone repairs, I will likely return if issues arise again but desire to see communication improve. Thanks to CPR for fixing my wifes phone and we look forward to working with you in the future.

Horrible Service. Broke my dads phone even more. DO NOT GO HERE! This place needs to just close down based on all the bad reviews theyve had already. I took my dads iphone 5s in on 10/1 at 12PM to get the screen replaced.First the guy with a weird man bun explains how their credit card machine is broke and Id have to pay in cash. Thats fine and all but he also states it will definitely be done before 5pm which is when they close... Come 4:30pm NO CALL... I give them a call to say Im on the way, man bun then says that when he opened the phone he found water damage!? And that for some reason he cant get anything to show up on the screen. Mind you the phone WORKED PERFECTLY FINE BEFORE I BROUGHT IT IN! I just wanted the screen to be fixed..I ask if he will be able to fix it if I leave it overnight. Again, he claims that he will surely be able to fix it... Next day comes around NO CALL or anything. 2 times this guy makes a promise he cant keep. If you cant fix it dont delay the inevitable just give the phone back!My dad just went in to pick it up and sure enough it doesnt even work anymore. Luckily they werent dumb enough to try and charge my dad. But if anything, THEY owe US money. My dad has to get a new phone now. This store sucks. Customer service sucks. Employee training is obviously needed. Do not bring your business here. I hope this place closes soon. Will be leaving more detailed 1 star reviews anywhere else I can find to ensure that this happens sooner rather than later.

I brought my Samsung phone into Ryan because the power button was not working and the charging port was loose. I figured the repair would end up costing me more than the phone was worth and was ready to throw it away and purchase a new one. Ryan convinced me to let him take a look at it. He charged me the standard troubleshooting fee ($25) to identify what needed to be fixed. Ryan was able to fix the problem with no additional charges. I feel like Ryan treated me fairly and helped me make an informed decision that ended up being the best solution for me, and definitely helped me save money. I would recommend this business to a friend or family member, and will definitely go back to them the next time I need a phone or personal electronic device repaired.

Great experience -- replaced battery in Samsung S6 in less than 1/2 a day. Only thing was that they didnt have a battery in stock, but they ordered it and it came in the next day; dropped my phone off at noon and picked it up before 7pm. Phone fixed, no problems, and no need to buy new phone.

Back of my LG V30 was broken, took it to CPR in Greenbrier, they said they could fix it, ordered a new back, when it arrived they called and when I took my phone in they had it changed in about 30 minutes and it only cost $65. Looks as good as new. Joshua did a great job.

I ordered a screen for my Samsung J7 AND a screensaver for 39.99 and the very next week I dropped my and the screensaver DIDNT protect at all, because it is STILL in place and my screen is broken.!!! I paid 129.00 for the repair AND screensaver. I could have bought another phone. The thin dark haired young man was very rude,,,but the very tall young man was very friendly and pleasant.

Broke my phones screen over the weekend and since I had done some business with these folks in the past I requested a quote with the intention of getting it fixed Monday morning. The quote I was given was $190 in an email signed off by the Regional Manager, Ryan L.When I went into the store this morning I was told the repair would be $215. When I showed the gentleman the quote, he said it was incorrect and he could go no lower than $215. When I asked if he could talk to the Ryan L that signed off on the email, he told me he was Ryan L and that someone else responded to the email on his behalf.Ive no doubt that CPR is capable of repairing cell phones (Ive used them before) but I was highly suspicious of anyone who would, at the loss of $25 go back on his word or the word of a team member when a customer had already gone through the trouble of requesting a quote. I will not be using them or recommending them in the future.
