I was visiting the store with my sister for her birthday and was racially profiled. I was followed around the store (mind you it isn’t that big of a location). It was just mind blowing due to the fact that the person was staring me right in the face even when I moved directly by the door, just insisted on watching me as if I was going to steal something not realizing the bags I walked in with were tied up and I had just came from shopping across the way. I can’t believe in this day and time this is what happens

Run of the mill. Lots of novelty gifts, helpful yet still introverted staff that tries to upsale you at the counter. Still, great job and friendly. Prices are not bad and the selection is more hit than miss.

They helped me to get the best price for selling my XBOX ONE and various games. If you want to sell an Xbox you have to bring in the console, controller, power cord, and an HDMI cable, and connect. (had to make a few runs back to the house before they would get me I great price). Overall the customer service was very excellent.

I told the woman what I had at home and she still sold me the wrong item. Headphones doesnt work with my console

We purchased a game one week ago today, it was preowned and we did not have the receipt; but the game NEVER worked,. Associate would not allow us to even trade it towards a replacement game. Highly unsatisfied with his attitude. However, We asked another associate, upon checking out, he did let us trade it in towards another game.

Walked in to buy a game, not to be served sas. I grabbed the case for a pre-owned version of Animal Crossing for the switch, walked to the counter, and handed it to the cashier. He informed me that they only had new but that one store had it available preowned, great! I asked him where the store was, because I am not from Virginia nor do I know where things are in Hampton Roads. This kid shrugs and says I dont know, in Virginia Beach I guess with allllllllll the attitude. There is no need for such tude. Will not be back.

We love gamestop and go to them all the time all over town. They always have a cool selection of trinkets and toys although the one in Greenbriar Chesapeake isnt necessarily my favorite . They seem to be packing alot in there compared to other gamestops

Just bought a game 2 days ago the game will not work yet they told me they are not doing any refunds as of right now until everything is back to normal. Be very cautious with spending any money with GameStop as they will be sure to take your money with no questions asked sell you a broken product, just dont expect them too take it back since it may be contaminated. But that cash I gave you 2 days ago isnt? Truly laughable. Dont offer any service if you cant provide a full service. Extremely unprofessional !!

Everytime I come to this GameStop I have an issue, and the funny thing is it’s only when Amanda is working. This time I went in to try to trade in my Xbox and she made it sound as if there was an issue with my Xbox not connecting to the store WiFi. She tried to justify herself by pulling out her phone to show me her phones connecting to it and the entire time her phone is trying to connect to the WiFi as well and she proceeded to tell me it was Xbox. She’s extremely rude and is unhelpful. I know there was nothing wrong with my Xbox and I just went to another location and they took care of me perfectly. She’s extremely unprofessional, and rude. I will not be coming back to this location ever again.

I wish there was a way I could make a .6 star for a place. I went to this location so I can do a trade with 2 systems and a massive amount of games. Normally when I am here I see Sam (she is a girl and is awesome) and Clayton, but this time I met Amanda and she made me feel horrible. I came to trade and get a PS4 and 4 games for my boyfriends birthday. She just wouldnt allow me to do the trade. Instead she tells me Gamestop is in the business to make money not lose. I drove a hour to come to this store because I love talking witih Clayton, Sam, and James. Thanks to Amanda I will never go back to this store. That negativity is something I dont want in my life.Go to the GameStop at 1437 Sams Drive they are nicer and like thinking outside the box to help you.

Super disappointed with this store. Tonight was the midnight launch of Final Fantasy XV. I arrived at 1218, when I walked up to the door it was locked. The three employees inside heard the door but rather then help their customer who lost sleep to give them business, they ignored me an waited for me to walk back to my truck and get in before they left. 1230 is too much to ask for one of your loyal customers. I will not be shopping there anymore. I dont know why I fall for their promos anyway Bestbuy is often cheaper.

Good service and a wide selection!

Some good but mostly bad experiences going to this location. Particularly with one worker . Same guy who told me they dont buy 3ds systems .. He was talking to a customer about games and this particular customer wasnt even buying anything. I waited for 15 minutes and ended up leaving and going to target to buy the game I came for.. Because he still was talking! I dont even want to leave 1 star.

I normally dont write reviews, but I figured I would. I decided to stop by as I was working in the area. Didnt go in intending on buying anything but more or less seeing what games where out. Got to talking to a worker named Clayton who was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He was able to tentatively take care of me and other customers that needed to be rung up. Needless to say I walked out with far cry 5, wasnt too sure about it but he assured me I would love, I listened to him and Im glad I did lol. Ill be going back to this GameStop for all my gaming needs because or the service I received with Clayton.
