Sept 2020 I got into a vehicle. June 2021, the transmission went out. I did have a 30 day warranty and a 6 month extended warranty, which expired in March 2021.When my transmission ran out I got it checked at Aamco and they confirmed the issue. Rob, the GM, did offer to re-issue the 6 month warranty, but it only covered up to $2000 in repairs. Unfortunately the repair was over $4,000. He gave an option of a used transmission which would have been $2800, but again, money out of my pocked that I do not have nor should have to pay in the first place. I am in a bit of a pickle having an open loan on my credit and a broken down vehicle.I would give it 1 star due to terrible quality of vehicle, but to be fair I gave it 2 stars due to Tom & Rob did follow up with me and Rob the GM did try to offer a solution of the extended warranty, but it was not enough. I am worried to get the vehicle fixed and some other issue will come up that I will once again have to get fixed. I will also be triple times over in the hole investing a ton of money into a lemon. πŸ‹I am sorry, but to be honest, I would not recommend buying a car from this dealership.It really sucks, but I guess its the roll of the dice of what car you get into with this lot. It was supposed to had been a 3 year commitment to get me into a better situation. Now I am even more in the hole struggling with no vehicle.

I drove off the lot and had 2 issues that I verbally and had written into my contract to have repaired as soon as possible. My radio not having a display and wires exposed inside the front seat. Rob K advised me he was on the phone at the lot and they said they had the part and they would get me fixed. 12 hours after driving off the lot and only driving home I start my truck to low air pressure tires, check engine light, and fuel inlet message. I was told I’d have to take it to the repair shop and I had to miss a day of work for repairs. My 2 initial issues were communicated several times through voicemail and calls to the dealership but only led to no repair. I spoke with Mike a sales manager and he advised to call him the next business day and he’d have repaired.....I called and no answer. I called the dealership and they advised only Rob K could fix the problem. I stated how he was hard to reach and the young lady stated he wouldn’t be in for a week. Why was my radio not ordered when I drove off the lot?? The young lady said the radio works but no display.....so how am i expected to listen to what i want to listen to?? The only options I have is AM radio. Wires are still exposed in my truck. This is a horrible experience because they really sell you on these are reliable vehicles and they are on your side but I’ve been ignored and lied to when trying to fix a radio. I even offered to have Best Buy fix it and they can reimburse and the young lady declined. So I’m driving a truck in complete silence with who knows what kind of wires being exposed near my passengers feet. It’s a ridiculous situation.

Do Not Buy A Car from Here or the Newport News location. Rick T and Rob K Morales are garbage. They sell you cars that they deceitfully knew had issues and did not say anything about the issues when I test drove it. It need new brakes, rotors, struts, catalytic converter, air filter, back passenger door would not open, starter, tire pressure sensor, evap leak,.back brake lights, 2 front tires, alignment, keyless entry holder broken but given to me, and a door lock latch All mostly noted by the inspector and declined by the dealership to fix. The state police came and inspected my car and gave me the summery of declined paperwork which all the items listed was my same complaint. Because I wrote the VA dealer board, the state police inspections office, and the BBB, Rob called threatening me that he will come take my car and that I better do everything right and on time because he will turn my car off and take it back. I filed a police report for threatening me. He was more concerned about his image than the safety of customers lives. It all good because it one thing called the law and you can not deceitfully sell cars with major safety issues and then because you mad you call from a private number threatening to take back the car and refusing to fix anything else on it because you mad I told on you. So you retaliated and called the repair shop and told them to not fix anything on the car because you mad. Gth with that foolishness. You wrong. Rick T wrong and you will reap what you sow. Bad Business Run Run Run and do not buy anything from them. Its other dealerships that will help you and not sell you a lemon. πŸ‹

I got my car in October of 2019, with no issues. The only major work I’ve had to put into this car was after about 11 months of having it and putting plenty of miles on it, and it is a USED car so it was no fault to them. There have been a few times I’ve needed to split my payments between 2 paychecks and they’ve always been so nice about it!

The service was above and beyond. We had gone to a different lot, with far fewer choices, and didnt have the best experience. We stopped here just to checkout the cars on the lot and we were immediately greeted by the GM Rob. He was warm and welcoming. Accommodating every request to drive whichever car we wanted to test. The selection was excellent, and the terms were realistic. We sat with Mike from Finance and he too was warm, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable with our purchase. The team there was on point and we would recommend to ANYONE who has less than perfect credit. The process was transparent and honest. Thank you team Priority at Military Hwy!!

Actually enjoyed buying our sons car here a few months ago. This is an excellent dealer to do business with! There were a few issues with the car soon after the purchase. Priority handled each situation promptly & professionally. Usually when purchasing a used car, its considered as is...Priority didnt treat us that way. One of the issues involved having the car towed from Toano VA to Newport News in order to be repaired. Priority did all of this for us without charging us a cent...very happy new car owners here! Priority has the absolute best after the sale customer service we have ever experienced. We plan on buying our next car there as well!

I just purchased my vehicle yesterday. During the test drive I heard the squeaky noise. When I return, I did mention it. Fast Forward they sent me to a car shop the next day. I was there at 8 in there morning until 11. They said they fix the problem. I drove off and the noise was still there. Also the brakes are loud as well. Everytime I hit a bump the squeaky noise is very loud like my car about to break apart. and Everytime I hit the brakes you can hear that noise as well. I also have a hard time shifting into gear. I called the office today with no assistance. I was just transferred to a voicemail. I didnt get any help at all. I wish I would of went somewhere else where I was approved. I need something reliable. . I have a 3 year old son that I drive around. But atleast the manager Rob Kelley was nice and cool. I cant say anything bad about him. If you can go somewhere else just go somewhere else.

After having two repossessions one just being 3 weeks prior to me walking on to the lot of priority in Norfolk I was very pleased with the customer service that each employee that I came in contact with offer from Jeff to Rob to the lady that took my down payment for the car I was also very pleased with the selection of cars that they had in the reasonable prices that they offer for the cars. The car that I wanted was a Toyota Camry although the car that I purchased was a 2007 it still was in very good running condition and it didnt give me any problems Im also very pleased with the fact that if you need to call to make payment arrangements on the car due to being late or whatever problems that you are having financially that they are very willing to work with you if you communicate with them. I would definitely recommend this car lot to anyone whos trying to re-establish your credit as well as find a cheap affordable and reliable vehicle thank you for already because you helped me when no one else would!!!!

I purchased a vehicle from the Norfolk location in January. There were some issues with the car in the beginning, but I will say they did resolve the problem and i was satisfied. The reason for my review and low stars is because of their finance manager Cherrie (sp). I called today to see if there was any leniency with making a payment maybe a couple weeks late. When I signed my initial paperwork, the date my payments were due was a couple days after my set biweekly paydays. I explained that to my salesman and he said he would notate my account. When I spoke to Cherrie (sp), she said I was actually due today. Then she could only extend me until 2 days before my next payday. I explained my pay schedule and what I was told by my salesman. She went on in a matter of fact tone and said he has no say in when I make my payment. I asked if he was there, and she said no. I said I was just letting you know what I was told. I asked if he will be there tomorrow, she then said I can call back and see and hung up on me as I was still talking. Now her being a manager, she should definitely have better customer service than that, and dont treat paying customers as if they are beneath her. Thats how her whole attitude came off. Her job as a Manager is to try and resolve the miscommunication if that was the case, be empathetic to the situation, not talk to the customer as if what they say has no bearing. If this is how she treats customers , she needs to be coached or have better training. Its all about delivery and tone. Both of hers were terrible!!!

Great service when you are about to buy. Dont let the vehicle need major engine work after 3 months though. Total nightmare. Stuck with a huge loan payment, no vehicle, and a judgment on my credit now. Not 1, but 2 different vehicles . Both POS Mr. Kelly is a very nice dude. But how you guys stuck me was not cool. Let me start by saying that I purchased a vehicle from them in 2015. Paid it off this year with no other problems other than regular used car issues. I trusted them enough to return June 30th and make another purchase. This time; however, the vehicle purchased blew up in a matter of days. I had some other financial issues to come up, but requested that they take the vehicle back as 1)it was damaged and 2) because Id no longer be able to cover the monthly payments. They agreed to take back after several days of calling and came to pick up the car 07/19/2018 (20 days in possession). Ive been attempting to speak with Mr. Kelly for 3 months now to resolve the issue. He is still fraudulently reporting to the credit bureaus as if I am still in possession of the vehicle. In the time that theyve had it back, it could have been repaired and resold with no loss to them as they have the $500 I put down. Instead, theyd rather be deceitful and dishonest to both the customer (former) and the credit bureaus. Ive worked hard to attempt to rebuild my credit only to have it torn down by what I once upon a time, deemed to be a reputable dealership. I was tremendously let down with this transaction, and will not be able to return even when I am ready to purchase again. Shame on it all and shame on Rob Kelly.UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE RESPONSE FROM THE OWNERI wholeheartedly stand by my review. I obviously, at one point, felt you all were reputable. I purchased and paid off a vehicle and came back to purchase another. That vehicle had engine problems and wasnt able to be driven. Id lost my job. I wasnt going to be able to maintain the payments, even if fixed. I turned in the vehicle 07/19/2018 (via Priority Buy Here Pay Here contracted tow company as the vehicle could not be driven), 20 days after purchase. The fact remains that Mr. Kelly is acting in a fraudulent manor by reporting monthly to the bureaus as if I am still in physical possession of a vehicle that was voluntarily surrendered over 90 days ago, before the first payment was ever due.

I will ONLY buy cars from this place from now on! They are amazing! Great costumer service! Super professional! I was sure they would sell me a piece of junk car that would break down within a year but to my surprise, it was a pleasant experience.When my car broke down I was certain no one would give me a car. My credit was terrible (young and dumb) and I didnt have a deposit. My job was about an hour away from my house so I needed a car ASAP. My parents told me to check out Priority because they had a program for people with bad credit.When I went in, I told them that I didnt have a deposit but I needed a car ASAP! They didnt judge me, they worked with me. They took my broken down car as a trade-in and I scraped up money to make a deposit. They allowed me to make payments on my deposit and I was able to drive off with my car within the next day or two (even though the deposit wasnt finished).The salesman gave me list of cars on the lot that I was able to finance. They werent bad looking cars either! The guy that ended up showing me the cars on the list wasnt as professional as the guy I talked to inside. He seemed to be rushing me and actually lied a few times but I ignored it and took my time to go through the list until I found the right one for me. The one I ended up getting had about 45k miles on it. I was a little skeptical about the miles but they assured me that it was driven daily and lightly.To make a long story short, less than a month later the car shut off on me! I was devastated because a ton of lights turned on. The warranty on the car stated that Id be responsible for half of the costs too. I called Priority and they towed the car away. They seemed shocked at how many lights were on and assumed it was a few broken sensors.The repair process was the worse part of my experience because it took so long. Im not sure exactly how long it was, but it was definitely over a week. The shop that they sent me to didnt have any immediate openings. When the car was finished, she was back to normal... except they forgot to put the gas cap back on. I had to buy a new gas cap but Priority didnt stress me about paying for the repairs. I figured it was a small price to pay considering I was really supposed to be liable for half of the costs. I was NOT about to be petty about a cheap gas cap.I drove off with my car and Ive never had a problem since! The car is paid off now; she still runs quietly, I havent reached 100k miles, and I dont see her breaking down anytime in the near future. Priority isnt perfect but they have great costumer service! I never felt judged or looked down on. Dont question it! Get your car from Priority!I want to finance another car from them but I live in another state now. They said theyll work with me with a loan, maybe, but that would be a stupid decision on my part and Ive learned my lessons ^_^ Thanks for giving me a chance Priority! Youre a class act!

My husband purchased a car from the buy here pay here section, back in july..we have had the car for about 5 months, for 3 of the 5 months Ive been taking the car to Jacks auto complaining about a noise its been making. We then went back and forth between Jacks auto and priority. They gave us the run around, mind you its a used car so most things are protected by the use car warranty. We took our complaints to Robert Kelly he didnt even call us back....he made a minor repair on the car told us he would drive the car to see what we been speaking about he never did. One day my husband is driving and the steering wheel locks up on him, I later found that the car had a recall on it.....neither gm or priority cared to help us fix the problem so now were stuck with a $300 repair and a $300 car payment.....no one called back, but I guess thats what you get when your credit score is not high....they prey on people who they feel are in need. If you go to them, just expect to get anything they can give you. I wouldnt trust a word they say....Robert Kelly will not provide any assistant at all and he suppose to be the top guy.....why with all the post with someone having a bad experience, priority rep says contact rob kelly, when hes the one giving people the run around.....my husband has called him and he has yet to call him back or trest drive the car to see what problems we were speaking of......I failed to document every time I went in......thats where I was wrong at....I wish i could post pictures of my call log

I am so upset with this dealership. I got my oil changed 10/25. Ken called me told me that the mechanics scratched my car and that the dealership would take care of fixing it. Ken told me if I don’t hear from him on Wednesday to call him. I called him on a Friday. He gave me the spill that it was out of his hands and the paperwork was on the managers desk. He stated he texted the manager and if he heard back from him he would call me same day if not then Monday. Monday has passed. I call today wednesday speak with a manager. She tells me ken isn’t in. She called him on the cell to find out if it’s something that will be taken care of at the shop. I express to her this has been an on going passing the buck. I told her ken said it was out of his hands and up to the manager. If you’re the manager this doesn’t make any sense at all. I’m at not all happy with my service. No one calls me to tell me anything. Each time I had to call even when they say they will call they don’t. I would never get another car from here again EVER! This is for Priority Ford. Though Priority is Priority I did not specific deal with Priority Buy here Pay here.

Absolutely awesome dealership. I bought a 2004 Ford Explorer. Price was fair. The customer service they provided has always been greater than ever expected. Even when I came on hard times they still worked with me on my payments. Even more than I have ever had with any other dealership. When the truck broke down and I thought I was going to have to pay for the repair plus my truck payment, the dealership fixed the truck and allowed me to make small payments on the repair. And then when the time came half way thru the loan I was qualified (like my contract stated) for a brand new car. So I went and got a brand new 2017 Ford Fusion. Exactly what I have always wanted. And I got to keep my truck. And if that wasn’t enough I had to pay almost nothing down on my new car to drive away. I have been truly blessed with this dealership. ROB, DENISE, EVEVELYN, and SHERRY in the Norfolk location have been more like family than a dealership. Today I paid off the truck and when I came in to pay I realized my sister came and bought a car from them a month ago and when I was about to pay my truck off they gave me a credit for referring my sister so I ended up having to pay a few dollars to pay off truck and get title. They actually gave me $100 back just for the referral. I will forever be blessed due to these lovely caring employees working here.

Your car may be okay but will mess up in a few months, I had a 2013 Chevy cruze for my daughter and ever since we had it it has been problems the timing belt , the whole engine went out, and now the engine coil is broke and the whole engine needs work. They DONT work with you. Yes you can get approved with a high car payment but its not worth the lemons on their lot. I work for the government and will be sure to tell my colleagues where NOT to go.

I purchased a car December 29th and on December 30th drove it to Hampton where it shut off on me. I took it back they serviced it not telling me exactly what was wrong. Then a little while later the heat was not working so I returned it again to have heat fixed, I got my vehicle back and the heat was still not fixed so I returned it again and finally the heat was fixed. I drove the car to Lawrenceville and doing that ride the steering wheel would shake really bad and the vehicle wouldnt pick up speed so I called again and they kept my vehicle for 3days and when I picked it up I wasnt giving any papers saying what was fixed or what the problem was and I left with my vehicle. Now 2mnths later my car is doing exactly what I complained of the last time it was serviced and the sales man who sold me the vehicle told me my warranty was up and I owed a $55 payment and that I waited 6 months to say something when in the 6 months Ive had this vehicle it has been in their shop 4 separate times no charge to me even after my 30day warranty. I feel as if I was taken advantage of and the way the sales man speaks to me is very unprofessional. As a dealership you would think they would want to fix the problem instead of blowing me off. I am a single mother of 3kids and I dont have money to just hop in a new vehicle. I dont recommend this place to any women who will be shopping alone.
