I came in with a ton of questions and I was comparing different makes of trucks. James Mcphearson was awesome. He took the time to answer my questions. I left the dealership with a lot of information. I greatly appreciated that he did not pressure me into the usual sales pitch cause I would have walked right then. I called back a day later and he made time to answer more questions. I came in and he went out of his way to find trucks for me to look at and compare features. Even though I strictly stated I did not need my credit run continuously that I needed a buyers agreement for the bank only they ran my credit still without the approved signed paperwork. The customer service is good but this was shady to push my credit through with out my consent.

Was quickly acknowledged upon arrival. Serviced quickly and coupon redeemed easily. Got my car back quickly. Waiting room is comfy. However, Im confused as to why EVERYTHING that I had in the front passenger seat was laying in the floor when I got my car back! Theres no plausible reason! Not happy about that part.

I paid for a tire rotation and the paper work stated a tire pressure check was done and I told the service writer I needed nitrogen in my tires because it’s not filled with normal air, and the only place to get it is from the dealership, when I got home I noticed the tires was under pressure still , was moved ( rotated) but all the pressure gauges was the same.. so I’m highly disappointed that the technician was dishonest or forgot to finish all the services to my vehicle, which leaves me to think is this a normal thing, should I check behind everything every time to make sure I’m getting the job I paid for performed , I can’t speak for anyone other than me but trust goes a long way with me and it’s very hard to get back once it’s lost..

Like a magic show, he kept me at the edge of my seat with every surprise of savings he pulled from his hat! He even drove all the way to Newport News to get me the car I wanted. Took my truck in for an oil change for life with an appoint made 2 weeks in advance for a 9:30 AM appointment. Very friendly Staff.They called me after 5PM to tell me my truck was ready. I left the truck there overnight and picked it up the next morning. It should not have taken that long to do an oil change. They need to add more technicians for oil changes if they sell vehicles with free oil changes for life. That was one reason i bought from Priority Chevrolet.

I had an appointment set at 10, I arrived at 9:50 and departed at 1:50. What is the meaning of scheduling an appointment if you will still have to wait almost 4 hours to receive your car back. I thought it would be maybe 2 hours or a little more for an oil change and tire rotation.. but I definitely didn’t think I would be there for almost 4 hours. Especially after scheduling an appointment. May as well just walked in.

Easiest car buying experience I’ve had to date! Living in South Carolina and trying to find the vehicle I wanted was a challenge. Justin C. called me right away from my online interest form I submitted. I was able to do everything from home and then when I came to pick up the car and sign the papers it was so easy! Everyone was super friendly, fast, and professional from customer service to the finance manager. Today was my first time being serviced here, without my husband. Everyone was so polite and attentive. Mr. Robert Morales was very helpful. He listened to my car issues and escorted me to the waiting area. Then, he and the team went to work. Once done, Mr. Morales escorted me back to the service desk, made sure I knew where my car was, and stated he would follow up with me on Monday about a car part I asked to have priced and ordered. Everything went well! Our agent was very pleasant and informative, and the shop area was safe & clean.It was nice to see the parts area was stocked with everyday items that you could walk through to make purchases and kill some time! However, it still looks like the parts dept. needs more room… there’s always boxes stacked around the floor, making it difficult to see some shelved products. I would think they’re a safety hazard to some and certainly a barrier for others using medical equipment. My opinion of course….I’ll be back.. for my next scheduled maintenance 😉

Reason for coming in was only for my free oil change. I fully agree that whoever drives the vehicle to its service spot should adjust the seat! The day I came in it was only 81 degrees, did whoever drive it really need to also adjust three of the four front air vents, take the ac off automatic and turn fan all the way up, and turn the radio back on and manually put it on a channel that is not part of my presets??? They are in the car for less than a minute, what the heck! Very satisfied with the work though.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!This was the most horrible experience I had with a service in a car dealership.1. I booked an appointment for my engine light. I got a confirmation e-mail. When I showed up, they could not even see me in the system.2. No loaners and no sympathy. I get it. Car shortage. Would have been nice to tell customers this way in advance. Not everyone has the luxury of renting a car. We were basically told “figure it out”3. 4 day wait time. For a part that is from another dealership? Really? I would have been ok with the wait time, however, where are the updates? I dropped it off on a Wednesday and I had to call myself on Friday. Oh, to add a cherry on top, they made it seem like I was causing the inconvenience. Parts still not available. Technician is doing something else. So Monday is the earliest they can do.HORRIBLE SERVICE!I AM NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE.

I have been disappointed from this dealership from the beginning, when I bought my truck they had it out on the lot advertised, when it had not been through the service Dept for inspection, it was online, I came from North Carolina to get it. I bought it and had to wait a week to take it home due to some parts that it needed. I got past that, only to have problem after problem with the service Dept. First time I dropped my truck off it had scuff marks from the front fender to the driver door, luckily they buffed out, 2nd time I had an 11am appointment for and oil change only for them to tell me the wait on Saturday could be 3 hours? What’s the point of an appointment then? I made one due to me being an hour away so I don’t have to wait so long. Free oil changes if you can basically drop you car off all day is what they are saying, maybe if you live close, not for me. Ridiculous, I will never buy another vehicle from here, not to mention they are rude in the service Dept. I will by local next time because this place is so busy they just don’t care. I will pay someone else local to do my oil changes, not worth the hassle. Sad

Buying experience, fine. Service department, not fine. For nearly half of the 1 month that I have owned my car it has now sat in your service department. Warranty work apparently makes you not much of a priority to this dealership. Dont buy into their Priorities for Life program, its $3000 you can keep in your pocket and get the same level of service.

I made an appointment for this week over a month ago. When I arrived for the appointment, they said they couldnt look at the car for two days. Why did I make an appointment then? They also said that if I just brought it back on Friday, that I would lose my place in line and another two days would be added to the turnaround time. If thats the case, why even have appointments? They also incorrectly stated what previous service work was done and seems generally annoyed that I was even there.Very unprofessional and on top of it, high priced. Ive had great service in the past with Priority Honda, but this particular Chevrolet location has consistently been a poor performer.

Kendall Browne was my service advisor - he was awful, from the moment I pulled into the service bay he had low energy, a bad attitude, and just looked bothered to be at work or to help me. He had me stand there for over five minutes while he was trying to find me in the system. I asked him if he could just enter my basic information since I was heading out of town. I explain to him that I was bringing the car in for a second opinion after just having it had service at RK Chevrolet. Each interaction with him over the phone was even more distressing. We ended up spending over $2100 And I’m fence about returning. I bought my car from priority Chevrolet several years ago and I always had a pleasant experience. This experience was awful.

Your sales rep James McPhearson is what sealed the deal. Being able to work with someone that knew what was going on and dealt straight forward convinced me to go with the truck vice continuing to look forward something else. He didn’t waste my time and cut straight to it. Even when the personnel behind the door tried to pull a couple things he assisted me in telling them that I have to documentation to back things up. Highly recommend you retain him and have him train the rest of the staff. Even though I’m moving I’d consider coming back to work with him and priority again. Even the parts rep I worked with assisted me well and quickly to get some accessories. So far best GM dealership I’ve run into coming from a GM family.

The sales team was extremely helpful however before pulling off the lot I had an issue that required my seeking my salesperson for assistance but they had already left for the evening. Ended up seeking answers online and Im still having the same issue. OnStar told me to seek help from the dealership and when I did, was told I may end up having to take my new SUV (with 3 miles on the odometer) in to have service done to correct the issue. I felt like I was passed off from the moment I walked in the door to meet with Mr King and was passed off to Sabrina.

I brought my 2013 Equinox in with a probable catastrophic engine issue. After diagnosing the issue as such I let them know that I was a Priority for Life member. Within one day my warranty was confirmed and was informed that the engine replacement would be free. I received my vehicle back quickly and in perfect running condition with a new engine. I cannot say enough good things about the service rep, Bob Knox, and the service technicians that worked on my vehicle. Thanks for all of your help.

The customer service was horrible. I could not get a call back. I received 3 of the worst possible answers from a service manager that I have ever heard when I stopped by since no one had called me back. Once they took the vehicle in two weeks later when I could finally get an appointment the engine light was off and they told me if it happens again stop by and they can plug in and see what is going on which is what tried to do in the first place. This is the second time the check engine light has come on for a truck that is 3 months old. I filled out a previous survey about the communication and received an automated call instead of an actual person for the follow up about that survey. Glad the customers mean so much to them that an actual person cannot spare the time to make that call.

Specifics: I was given a quote of approximately $215 at 730am on 10June2021. The job included a key fob price of $60 and programming of $155. At 1230pm, same day, the bill came to $429. I mentioned the quote from this morning. The service manager, Bob Backus, has refused to honor the original quote. I gave two stars instead of one due to the politeness of the associate. I am displeased by the lack of integrity by upper management.Update as of 1600. The second key fob is being held as ransom until Saturday. They want an additional $200. I am at a loss of words and am rather just plainly disappointed.I was recommended by my neighbor to utilize Checker Flag. My neighbor had a very similar experience. The comments from other customers show a trend analysis regarding Priority Chevrolets lack of integrity.Does anyone have experience regarding Checker Flags integrity and service department? The only issue I ever really have is that the wait times are ridiculous. For example, this appointment was only for an oil change. I had a 9am appointment. I dropped my truck off at 8:30am. I still did not get my vehicle back until almost 12pm. I don’t see why I’m making an appointment if I’m still gonna have to wait 2-3 hours. And oil change literally only takes 20 min at most. Other than that the service was fine.

I asked if they would match the TrueCar offer that I received and the sales rep stated that they always match TrueCar offers but will confirm.10 minutes later I hear from Chris, who informs me that they can “match” the offer but then adds that there is a $3995 “market adjustment” that is added to the TrueCar price. I special ordered a Truck and even though I had to wait longer that I was originally told Mr. Parks kept me up to date with where the truck was at in the build process. The purchase of the vehicle was the best I have had ever! It went very smoothly and was an easy process. Loved dealing with Mr. Parks.Once I got the vehicle home i found that the windshield washer sprayers did not work. I should have checked that when I was test driving the vehicle. So with the vehicle being a few days old and less than 300 miles I thought I would be able to bring the vehicle in and get they issue rectified since it’s obviously a problem from the factory. So a 50,000 dollar investment with a defect and having to wait for an appointment then drop it off and being told they “might get to it today or not we will let you know” is disappointing. It seems like once the deal is done (which again was an amazingly easy experience with Mr. Parks!) if there is an issue it’s like whatever we already have your money we will get to you when we get to you. But again the buying process was amazing!

I scheduled a “Free for life” oil and filter change. Well, we dropped the car off the night before for a 10:30 SCHEDULED appointment. I called around 11:00am to see when it would be back. Got put on hold twice for 15 minutes, tried to get a manager, no luck. FINALLY was told 1:30, maybe. I showed up at 1:30, and asked for the GM, he wouldn’t assist, finally got to the service manager, and he said 15 more minutes. At 1:50pm, my 10:30am oils and filter change was done. Never again, FREE is not worth the money.

Im not too happy with my current service.... I dropped the truck off on Tuesday morning; my rep said it should take two days. That was fine... At the end of day 2, I had not received a call. I called in and spoke with someone else. She said my truck hadnt yet been taken in... Why did i leave my car for two days before it could be evaluated?The leak in my roof was fixed by replacing the antennae. I did not get a real good explanation as to why the antennae needed to be replace for $700 but i paid it. When i got the truck home, I realized my Sirioux XM Channels didnt work and the wifi hot-spot didnt work. I called Sirious and Onstar. They both implied it was a hardware issue with the antenna.This is the second time Ive had service on my truck and then taken the truck home to learn the defect was not corrected properly. When I called my rep to complain, he said you can bring it back in. No apology, no acknowledgement of the waste of my time...

I absolutely love my advisor Cindy. She always makes sure everything I have concerns with is taken care of. No matter what the issue is, she makes sure its done. I can not tell you how much I love having Cindy as my advisor. Only issue I have been having with the dealership as a whole is that when I call to talk to Cindy, the girls answering the phone always tell me shes busy and then send me to Robert. I have dealt with him before and will never again. He is an arrogant and dehumanizing man against women when you stand up for yourself. I have had this issue with him for three years now and not sure why no one has ever called me back to discuss what he has done.

I made appointment. Then I was told you all were short staffed and couldn’t get to my vehicle for 2 days. I called several times prior to dropping off my vehicle and no return calls. I had to ask the device department to check my vehicle to at least check my vehicle to see if the parts were available, that took hours. Which means making the appointment was a waste of time. Customer service is horrible and wouldn’t recommend. I asked to speak with head of service and of course he was out of the office to the next week. Called and left a message on 9/20 and it is now 9/23 and still no response from him.

Horrible service department and coordination. Other half called to make an appointment for speedometer calibration. After showing up, checking in and sitting for 4 hours, she was told they do not do speedometer calibration!! That was the whole reason for the appointment!! Recommend to use another dealership if needed for service that actually knows their own capabilities.

Wont Go Back!I made an appointment for my vehicle to be serviced, and like most appointments, you think that it should be worked on soon, the point of making an appointment, but that is not how this place works.Once you go turn your vehicle in, they say it will be a few hours. That is not a problem and understand this can take time. Once 4 hrs pass, then you will receive a price quote and then they will say you next in line, again not the biggest deal. After a few more hrs, you decide to take a walk and realize they haven’t even started on it, is where the problem begins. It is almost the end of there working hrs, and don’t even think they were planning on doing it that day, is where it becomes a problem. Once I went and talked to the service person, again they stated I was next in line, and tried and give you a bunch of excuses on why there are delays. The excesses, and direct lies is the problem with this place. Trust is a big thing, and to be lied to your face is why I won’t go back.They try to get as many vehicles in their door, and work by volume. I get that businesses want to make money, if they were honest about timelines, and did not lie to customers I would not have as much a problem.Just know with this place, if you drop your car off, expect two day for an oil change, but the whole time they will tell you only a few more hrs.

Dropped my car off for an alignment at night & it was finished by 11:00 the next day. Sweet turnaround! Great servicemen and very effective customer relations. Thats why i keep going back to the same guy. I felt he earned my trust so he feels like my own personal serviceman.

I contacted the dealership about a very specific vehicle in inventory that had been a demo model. I made an appointment, traveled two hours from my home down to Chesapeake, and was greeted promptly. The vehicle was ready, and after a quick test drive we wrapped up negotiations and closed the deal. Everyone was courteous and customer focused. My salesperson was top notch and low pressure. Even the financing process was quick and efficient. Thanks to everyone who made it a simple process to surprise my wife with her new Suburban!

Even after my purchase, they have continued to reach out to make sure Im completely happy. .They were very friendly with my child and made sure she was happy as well while we waited to finish the purchase. I recently got my 2012 Chevy Cruz serviced, i scheduled an oil change, inspection, and a diagnostic. My service advisor stated that they were behind and it would be a couple of days before I get my car back. Of course they did not have any loaners and could not assist me with a loaner. I paid an ridiculously amount of money to get my car fixed and I feel as though they do not care amour their customers. I have 2 kids, no family here, so trying to get transportation for 4 days while my car was being serviced was a bit overwhelming and hectic. No discount was offered for my car being held and not being able to help me. In the contract it states, if your car is being worked on for longer then a certain amount days they they have to help with a loaner. They did not do that and when I asked they could not help me. It was a major inconvenience to me and my family.

Jessica in the service department was a rock star! After having a horrible time with Southern GMC, I was nervous to be lied to again from a large dealership/service department. Jessica went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle and my needs were met. I was told upfront about how backed up the service department was and that it would be a day or two even to have a diagnosis. After explaining to her how my husband was in the fire department and how we had 3 children she doubled down and got my truck done and back to me a day earlier than what I was told. Her communication with me kept me informed every step of the way and it eased my concerns and nerves. Im not sure she will see this or know how appreciative I am, but Thank You Jessica!

Sabrina was awesome!!!! This was by far the best car buying experience we have had...... She was honest, so friendly not pushy at all like most car guy.....She got us in exactly what we wanted without us even knowing thats what we wanted...... The manager that was working with the bank was awesome too I didnt get his name though. He was a huge help in getting us approved with less than perfect credit......I have been in the car business myself and can say the entire process with Priority is a step above the rest********HIGHLY RECOMMEND**********

There is a reason this dealer has a low review rating. I have been blown off three times now by the sales staff. I called explained I wanted to get pricing for payments on a trail boss. They took my info and said they would call me right back. No call back, I call back later and request the same information from a second sales person names Eddy, who assured me, this would not happen again. Well...he blew me off, I called back, and he gave an excuse and requested more information, I provided it, and once again no call back. I even text him to remind him that I was still waiting the next day! Still nothing! I used to manage a GM dealer, this is not normal behavior that GM would put up with. I tried contacting the dealer manager...no listing, next will be regional call. Cheers and steer clear!

The estimated total was over 10% more than quoted and nothing was added to it. The initial quote was wrong. My tires were rotated for sure because I had 72 psi in the front and 64 psi in the back… it should be the other way around. Tire pressure was not adjusted for the rotation… not pleased!!!!

James McPherson is an absolute awful human and a rotten salesman. He lied to us 3 time about the time our vehicle would arrive we ended up settling for a different more expensive vehicle after 2 months of waiting. He insulted my wife to my face about her sour tone. Could not recommend avoiding this place enough.
