I will never use them again. Went in on Monday to have tires checked was told needed shocks 2 new tires and alignment. Rescheduled for Fri at 10 got there was told they were running late fine ( my car was next). Came back at 1:30 still had not started working on my car was told they ordered the wrong part again my car was next. Would take 2 hrs. Went back in at 3 and my car still hadnt been touched. Again was told my car was next. So I told them I was taking my car and leaving.

Used to be a great place. Tried to do an online reservation, which confirmed my time and date in my email. When I called to confirm they had everything set he told me I scheduled it for today and they dont have anything available for the day I needed (I thought I did, but when I double checked I had the right date and time selected). I will gladly take my car to Midas right down the street from my house from now on. I liked this Firestone, but I understand its understand new management and isnt as great as it used to be. I guess they dont want any business.

I go there for all 3 of my vehicles they fixed my VW when other shops wont touch it. They fixed something an instant oil change place messed up on(put wrong drain plug back in) and Firestone and Rich and his crew fixed it right truly thankful they are open on Sundays as I work 6 days a week wont go anywhere else

I went to try to get 2 new tires for my car. When I entered there were 4 employees standing around, 3 of them weren’t wearing masks and never put one on during the time I was there. They did not greet me, 2 of them walked off after me standing there several minutes. I finally spoke up and the response I got was “did you need something?” Ummm yes, you saw me walk in the door! They told me I couldn’t get 2 new tires, they would only do 4 new. The 2 tires on the back are only 6 months old, they said I needed 4 new tires today period. I left, went somewhere else and they gladly put on the 2 new tires and fully agreed that was all I needed.

I called and scheduled an appointment for an alignment and tire rotation on 06/19 mid day for 06/20 at 1 pm i arrived at firestone at 12pm on 06/20 to drop my car off was told it would take till about 3 so i then called at 3 to see if it was almost done was then told they can’t do alignments today and the manger or boss there was very disrespectful when i asked for my vehicles keys back! would not recommend this even as a last option

Ive been using this Firestone location for oil changes for a while now. The employees I interact with are very knowledgeable and friendly. The work is always completed in a timely manner. I also appreciate that they always reset the oil change indicator as other places Ive gone to dont tend to do that.

This place is absolutely amazing! PLEASE READ!! Let me start off by saying I’m a truck guy (RAM specifically) and do as much of my own work that I can.I came into town to visit family and had a flat on I-75 last night. So, changing to my spare at at 12:45am on the side of the road when it’s raining and cold, I was less than thrilled about finding a place first thing this morning. BUT having dealt with Firestone in the past at home 200 miles away, I searched for one in the area. I showed up at 7am when they opened, and found the tire was cut. The GM and his staff were polite, courteous, and all about helping me. They are knowledgeable and do care about their customers.While I was waiting I saw a man bring his car in, hand the GM the keys, and say, “I trust you. Just fix it.” Who does that???? I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t been treated the same way as this guy; like I have been a long time customer or family friend. Another couple came in to drop there vehicle and as they were leaving were laughing saying, “Drive it around this weekend. We trust you.”I would recommend this place to anyone cares about their vehicle as much as I do and are looking for a place to trust. Two thumbs way way up!!! Thank you for this superior customer service.

I was visiting family in dayton. I had a bad tire and needed to get new ones fast so I could get back on the road. They got me right in and in less then 90 minutes I was rolling out. Great service all around!

They repaired a water pump and busted belt. $500 later. The time wasnt bad at all. My only issue is my dash had low tire warning. They couldnt put more air because all bays were full. Was told to drive it for a while to make it to away. Still have the warning. Disappointing.

Was told , I need to replace all 4 tires because one of the tire has a puncture on sidewall. However anyone could see, puncture was in middle of tire. If you dont want to fix the problem, at least dont give the wrong information. I got my tire fixed by another shop on merely $20 bucks and was told no impact to side walls. Expected better customer service from Firestone.

My husband took his car in as he had an appointment to get the brakes replaced because they started squealing and a tire rotation. The shop inspected the brakes first to determine if they needed replacing and said the squealing was from the transmission and the brakes were fine (the squealing was from the brakes, which were replaced by someone else at a later date). They said the battery life was very low so my husband agreed for them to replace it. The store did not mention they had to order the battery from another store so we called several hours later after we received no word on the progress.My husband picked up the car and found he had been charged for an inspection, which was supposed to be included with the life of the tires, but he decided to let it go as he just wanted his car back. On the way home he noticed his car felt like it was going to stall several times. After running some errands we had a hard time getting the car started again because it kept stalling out, which was never an issue before the battery was replaced. He looked under the hood and noticed there were plastic pieces from installing the new battery, which should have been thrown out, all over the engine compartment. He took the car back to Firestone and was told that the issue was some cars will stall like that when a new battery is put in because the car is learning, but they said they would check it out. My husband waited in the lobby of the store and it took almost an hour until someone took the car around back to take a look.Turns out when Firestone replaced the battery on the car they did not follow the proper steps Subaru requires when replacing a battery and the stalling was a result of that. The store had to contact a Subaru dealer to find out these steps, installed the battery, following proper procedures this time, and the car has had no issue with stalling since. Had the store followed the proper procedure in the first place we would not have wasted several hours of our day trying to get the car working. Also, I would consider a battery replacement to be a fairly easy repair on a car so it concerns me that Firestone is doing these replacements without knowing the proper steps for various car models. My husband was offered a free oil change as an apology, but if Firestone cant manage a battery replacement there is no way were trusting them to change the oil.

I work across from Firestone in the Cross Pointe Shopping Center. They take care of our Toyota Truck and when needed my 2014 Toyota Camry. I got my tires from them for both vehicles. I needed my normal tire rotation on my Camry. I also asked for newer design wiper blades. After, I got home, I did not like them. So I went back and they got me Toyota OME blades for my car. Just keeping a customer happy and coming back.. With so much is riding on your truck or car, Drive a Firestone!

I have been going here for two years since we moved here. John and company have never been anything but outstanding. More important, I trust what they tell me and the work has always been completed on time and well done. I take three cars to them. Some other reviews here that were negative and that is unfortunate, but I wanted to tell another experience. I just needed quick brake service and John got me in and is getting the work done in one day. These are folks you can build a relationship with. Chris

Went in for an alignment and to replace a tire. O had an appointment and have spent over $2000 between two Dayton locations. I had an appointment and was waiting for the repairs to be done. About an hour and a half after my scheduled time, they took my vehicle. About three hours after my scheduled appointment, my vehicle was ready. Staff was friendly. No discounts ordered.

Per Ohio Administrative Code 109:4-3-13 It shall be a deceptive act or practice in connection with a consumer transaction involving the performance of either repairs or any service upon a motor vehicle where there has not been face to face contact between the consumer or his representative and the supplier or his representative prior to the commencement of the repair or service for a supplier to: Fail in all other instances, upon the first contact with the consumer, to inform the consumer of the right to receive a written or oral estimate of the anticipated cost of the repair or service and In any consumer transaction involving the performance of any repair or service upon a motor vehicle it shall be a deceptive act or practice for a supplier to: Fail to disclose upon the first contact with a consumer that any charge not directly related to the actual performance of the repair or service will be imposed by the supplier whether or not repairs or services are performedI had my vehicle towed to Firestone Complete Care on a Sunday since they were the only shop open so I could speak with a service representative prior to the arrival of my vehicle. I spoke with their rep twice on Sunday prior to the delivery of my vehicle. Neither time did he disclose that I have the right to receive an estimate for any work prior to the work being done nor did he disclose that even if the repair was not done by them, there would still be charges.They then claimed to do a diagnostic on my vehicle, but ultimately called my dealer to find out the recall repairs that had previously been done, only to discover the extent of the required repair was an 1/8th of a turn on a bolt. When I addressed with them that they were charging me for my dealership service center to actually do the diagnosis and turn a bolt, the response was that they were the ones with the hood up and did a lot more work to diagnose prior to the phone call. At no point did they inform me I had a right to receive an estimate prior to accomplishing any work.I will never use them again and highly recommend that you go elsewhere for service.

I have taken my vehicles to several other local repair shops, and this one is by far the best I have found. Other places will nickel and dime you, then charge you for services you dont need. The staff here fixes what is wrong with the car- and not trying to get you to do additional unneeded service. Also, I have price out several different services to see if other shops would charge less, wheel bearing for PT cruiser, and new A/C for my Jeep, and this firestone consistently charges several hundred dollars less. Not only do they charge less, but the staff is very friendly, not sure what the other reviews on here are talking about. I can see how they may be understaffed sometimes, so I always just drop my car off for the day. All the repairs I have had done here have been done correctly, and have not had problems once they have done the repair. I would strongly recommend them.

I drive 80 miles (round trip) to and fro work. I operate the Day Cin Vacuums Cleaner Store, and live near Cincinnati.. On Tuesday of this week, and on the highway to work, my truck started surging. My truck has 370,000 miles on it. It could be anything. There is no dealt, the fuel pump and the float gauge have been acting up, and could be going out. But, a good diagnostic revealed (the surging was caused by a dirty throttle body and a possible oxygen senor. Bottom line, the truck now is back up and running again. Does, the fuel pump, float may need to be replaced, Im pretty sure that may be an upcoming issue, and am leaning that way. Ive always been treated good at Firestone Tire at Cross Ponite Shopping Center. Of the three Toyota cars in our family, we have either had tires, breaks, or other needed repairs done at this location, and at their LAX location in CA.. What I like about Firestone is: They have a tracking record of all past repairs. (I do the same here at my work with all our customers sales or repairs) For my peace of mind, its important when I travel outside the state and need repairs to my cars is to visit another Firestone dealer. I have two kids living out of state, but the history and warranty travels with them. Where ever they go. Also, Firestone have certain types of Technicians that are qualified to do more than just basic repairs. Dont overlook them when needing major types of repairs. They can diagnose things in your car that other repairs centers could over look. If they cant repair it, theyll let you know, and where you should go. With so much riding on your car,, Drive a Firestone!

We moved to Ohio in 2001- we have used this particular Firestone since we moved here. Even when we moved over an hour away we still came to THIS location for new tires/service for all of our vehicles. The service WAS EXCELLENT!FEB 2014 - NEVER AGAIN. After today they have beyond lost my trust! They were rude, snappy and VERY unprofessional.My suggestion to you find somewhere else to have your vehicle service/tires.

I took my car here twice and was disappointed and concerned about their knowledge as it took them far too long to diagnose the first issue and they were giving me conflicting information about the second one. Im fairly certain i was lied to. I made an appoint and they didnt even pull my car around until 40 mins after my appointment time. Im never going back here again.

Last minute drop in for a lifetime allignment I bought 9 years ago on my dodge ram.. they took it in knocked it out right away.. didnt do all the little extras but I really didnt exspect them to.. told me my tire tread was lower that actual but thats to be exspected from any tire shop.. now that I work In the buisness I know its relatively common practice.. and technically by the book recomended replacement is anything with less than 50% on them so I get that.. over all great experiance and would gladly go to them for any repairs when Im in dayton!!

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The girl at the front desk was on her cell phone through our entire encounter. They were missing a part in order to complete the tire installation and she or anyone else didnt bother to tell me that I had to go to another Firestone to have my sensor reset. When I came back in to ask why my tire pressure light was on I was told Dude it isnt that big of a deal. Our machine is broken, just go to another Firestone and they will fix it. Emailed the company about my experience that evening and have yet to hear back from them... that was 2 weeks ago.

I have used this location for maintenance and repairs for our 3 vehicles over the past two years and have spent more than $2,600 on these services over that time frame. I have been satisfied in the past, and their location (less than 3 miles) to my home has made it convenient to drop a vehicle off for service. Unfortunately, my recent experience with them was quite negative. The engine on our Kia minivan died while driving home on July 4. We were able to jump the van and subsequently dropped it off at Firestone the following day for them to look at it. They said the alternator needed to be replaced (which was reasonable because the vehicle has 160,000 miles and we have not previously replaced the alternator). They replaced the alternator that day, and I picked up our vehicle that evening. However, about 1.5 miles from home the engine died, and I was unable to keep the engine running after jumping the battery. So, I paid to have the vehicle towed back to Firestone. They said that the alternator that they put in the vehicle was defective, so they replaced it 2 days later. Three weeks later, we were in Canada on vacation and the engine died again while we were driving on the highway. We were practically in the middle of nowhere on a Friday evening and not familiar with the area, but I found that there was a Kia dealership about 20 min away and another 20 min from our hotel. I then paid to have the vehicle towed (for the second time) the next morning, and thankfully the Kia dealership said they would look at the problem (on a Saturday afternoon). The Kia dealership said the alternator was not working (no current running). So, we paid to have the alternator replaced again, and the vehicle was ready in time for us to drive back to Dayton on Monday morning. I stopped in to the Firestone to address the issues with my previous alternators and was told that there are Firestones up in Canada that could have dealt with my problem and that there was nothing they could do because I didn’t bring the faulty alternator in with me. It seems to me that something more could have been done to address their installing 2 faulty alternators and me having to have my vehicle towed twice within 3 weeks. Thus, I see no reason to return to this Firestone ever again, and I would warn other customers to be wary as well.

I work 6 days a week, so of course when i see they are open till 5 pm on Sunday i was happy! i used their online appointment maker to request a noon appointment, my brother also needed a tire, so on the way to the store with my brother and his tire, i get a call from them( 11:15 ish) that i would have to reschedule for Tuesday, since they close at noon... i cant so we decide ill call back (not calling back). i get to the store and there are 3 workers doing nothing... so my brother brings up the oil change and he said we can schedule it for Tuesday since we close at noon. I said your door and website say youre open till 5 he said we close at noon, do you want to schedule for Tuesday?now if they had called me earlier i could have come in anytime... but they waited till 11:15 to call me, and the guy at the counter was rude to my brother over his tire... never going back and will make sure everyone knows how we were treated...

2 stars because they can do oil changes. Otherwise, would not trust them with any other work on a car besides tires. Misdiagnosed our issue, when replaced with their recommendation, the initial issue along with 2 other things were still broken. All of a sudden the headlights AND horn didnt work. Staff argued with me but the manager finally refunded my money and was told to take it to a Cadillac dealership. The Cadillac dealership told me the fuse box had been smashed and was most likely from the previous shop. That was why the new horn issue was there so at least they were easily able to identify the issue for the horn, kinda easy to pinpoint what happened. Horn worked, took to firestone, horn didnt work after. When I called back to try and get the part that they put in my car they didnt have that on file. Just not happy with the customer service. Hard to argue with the customer when you diagnose an issue, try and fix it, then multiple things are wrong and you have no answer. Too much competition around for them to waste 4 days of running back and forth to them for them to play mechanics.

HORRIBLE! Our 1988 Camaro engine blew after they serviced it. Paid for a complete oil change/service for our 1998 Mustang only to have another Firestone add 5 quarts of oil because they only changed the filter but never changed the oil. Purchased a lifetime alignment for 2002 Tahoe and ended having Firestone at Fields Ertel replace the tires as a warranty issue. Ironically, tires have been fine since we no longer to go Firestone in Centerville! DONT GO AND WARN ALL YOUR FRIENDS!

I made an appointment for an alignment for 5 pm, I showed up ten minutes prior to the appointment and was told my car would be ready to roll out at 6:30. I thought no problem there is a shooping center near, my daughter and I could go look around for Christmas presents while we waited. We headed back to Firestone about 6:00 pm. When we arrived we waited an additional 15 minuters before the glorious Bryon tells me they are having issues with their computer and my alignment will not be finished today. After waiting an hour and fifteen minutes my car still needs an alignment and all the staff said was come back in tomorrow; there was no we are sorry or we will give you a discount due to your inconvenience. I had these same experiences with midas in centerville as well.... DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE ON E ALEX BELL. UNPROFESSIONAL AND LACK ON CONCERN FOR CUSTOMER.

The service guys were great. Took care of issues even though there was a problem with my appointment time. Apparently the answering service that is supposed to make appointments does not tell the guys at the location. So lots of confusion. Answering service needs to go!
