Called to get a battery replaced becuase walker Toyota was a n back order. They were happy to try to squeeze me in despite being low on staff. Andrew was even kind enough to give me some places closer to my home that may carry the battery. I was able to find someplace closer per his recommendation, but great customer service!

I can tell these people in this shop really care about their work. They don’t try to oversell services that you don’t need, so I trust them to take good care of an essential part of my life.

Frank and his team did a fantastic job servicing my vehicle yesterday. After the initial service of replacing my axle was done, Frank called to give me information on an alignment that he recommended. I was shocked because I just had one done a month ago at another service center. I declined the service but he was so helpful to give me the paper so I could share it with the other service center. I work within walking distance to Grismer and it was a little warmer than I was ready for. I was thirty from the walk and he went above and beyond and provided me with a soda. Thank you Frank! Last summer my car began making noises. After having my car serviced at multiple dealerships in Ohio, describing the noises to multiple mechanics, and having the problem fixed to no avail, I finally decided to go to an independent auto service center, and I am SO glad I did! The guys at this Grismer location not only listened to my concerns, but took my car for an extended test drive to confirm exactly what Ive been hearing for almost a year. They were then able to pinpoint, layer by layer (in terms of the cars underbody) what the issue was. The repair was pricey (I needed a lot done), but still comparatively low for what you would pay elsewhere, especially at a dealership. Did I mention how quickly they finished the repair??? My car now drives like it did when I first purchased it almost 7 years ago, smooth and quiet. Ill definitely be returning here for all of my car needs during my time here in Dayton. 10/10 would recommend service here!!!

I am rating this place a five because their customer service is pretty good, quite unexpected in this environment. My wagon needed a window fix and the crew fixed it and the subsequent error the installation caused. All with a pleasant demeanor. The rates are high, but that is just about every other shop. Go see Frank or Andrew and they will take care of your vehicle. troubles.

Grosser has always been a trusted source of car repair and maintenance for us! Recently we brought a car to them for new breaks. They called in 15 minutes to say the car didn’t need breaks at all! They could have easily just changed them like we ask. We will always trust Grisner!

Every visit to Grismer they try to upsell you on things you do not need. Ive gone in for tire rotation, which came with 4 tire purchase, and leave with a broken tire sensor, and a list of 4 things they said it needed. It wasnt with the free oil change and rotation to deal with them. I have numerous stories like this dealing there.

We have always had a great experience at Grismer and found them to be incredibly honest which is the most important thing when dealing with people who are experts and you are not. I would proceed with confidence in their recommendations based on all my previous interactions. Great team!

Grismer Centerville was the original place I took my brand new car when I first bought it. All the way up to when I sold it yesterday.They have always treated me fairly, they’ve always been honest and I highly recommend the Centerville location to everyone I know.

Average service. I was kind of surprised I had to leave my wheels there for 8 hours to get the new tires put on even with appointment from day before. Also concerned about quality control. Got all 3 wheels back but 2 of them missing valve stem caps and one of them looking like the valve stem was never replaced. Also had white tire lube smeared all over the tires and not cleaned off. Just not impressed.

We have been using Grismer in Centerville for all of our auto work for years. They have always treated us fairly and have been very upfront and honest with any repairs our vehicles have required. We would not go anywhere else.

All I had done was a tire patch but all in all I’d say price was fair and I was treated well. Another tire place which I won’t name but it rhymes with wire miscounters would have tried to sell me things I don’t need because I had literally just replaced them less than a month ago. I’d go back for tire service for sure.

I used Grismer for some tires a few years back and the Centerville location has been good for the basics of tires and oil changes for me since.

Fast, friendly service. I tried to complete as much of the transaction on the website. Bought and paid for tires online. Needed an alignment and had to pay $11 Covid fee which wasn’t mentioned on the web site. Tire price was a couple bucks more in the store than online, didn’t discover that till later. Don’t complicate the transaction by paying on line. That seemed to confuse things.

Frank was quick to help me over the phone set up my appointment, Nick helped me once I arrived and Aj changed my oil. I went for AJ but frank and nick were nice too

After having problems with my new tires (Bridgestone Ecopia) which were vibrating and making all kind of mechanical sounds. Andrew called me . He checked the car thoroughly and decided to switch out the tires to Michelin and it worked . My car is not vibrating or making weird sounds any more. Brought my car back 2 times to fix an issue that was never 100% resolved. 3rd time I brought it back, they told me it was serious and a safety issue. I felt like I spend extra money to “fix” the problem initially, but was never given a credit or discount when they found what the actual problem... each time it was about a $500 repair.

We recently moved to this area and Grismer was recommended by a relative. We arent disappointed! Very friendly service and got the job done.

4:30 pm oil change apptmnt pretty slow overall! Took over an hour, normally quicker in the past!☹4 free oil changes with previous tire purchase still cost me$29 for synthetic oil! Another customer came in w/o a mask too so not happy about that!🙄

Great experience with Grismer.

Stopped in and ask to borrow a socket to remove the tire from my stranded truck on the road and was informed that Grismer does not help stranded drivers by letting them borrow a socket and was not even offered their services. I was also told by the gentleman at the counter that he would not even ask his techs if I could borrow a socket because that is how they make their living and they wont just help people. I did not ask them to perform a service for free nor did I ask to use a shot Bay it was simply a socket to remove a tire and had I been treated differently I would have left the truck for them to do the wheel bearing I just had to get it off the road.

I just want to thank Mario for going way above expectations. He got me an amazing deal on 4 sets of tires for both cars and the work was done in less than a day for both of them. Outstanding work, Mario! Grismer has my business for many years to come.

Condescension oozes from the males at the front desk...I had parked my car at the top of my dry driveway (which has a very slight incline), locked the car, and called it a day. The next morning it had snowed/iced and my car was now at the bottom of my driveway. No one in my house had moved the car. Beneath my car was completely dry, which lead me to believe that my car had moved prior to the snow (no drifts).I was due for an oil change anyway so I called to schedule an appointment to get the oil changed and to have them check out why my car moved in the driveway. I talked to Brian who explained that he thought that my car moved either because I didnt put the car fully in park, the pawl disengaged or because of the ice. He asked for my last name and said that he didnt have any appointments, but would be able to get my car complete by 3 pm, when they close.When I arrived to drop my car off, there was no record that I was dropping my car off. So I had to re-explain what was going on with my car to the man, all the while Brian was sitting there listening and letting me sound like an idiot because I was trying to repeat what he had told me on the phone. With extremely condescending tones they told me that my car probably moved due to the ice. I told them that I wanted an oil change and for them to check out what could have caused my car to move. I hand my keys over and leave.I get a call later in the day and they lecture me about going over the milage between my oil changes, which was just annoying. They then tell me that I need an alignment and a new cabin air filter. I told them to write it in the notes for me and that I would get that taken care of another time. They responded by telling me that my car would be ready in a half hour.Over a half hour later, I go back to pick up my car and asked if everything looked over with my car with reference to the movement in my driveway. The man at the register (I dont remember his name) looks at me strangely and oozing with condescension asks me how would they know, they didnt do a test drive or take anything apart. As I am staring at him in disbelief, Brain chimes in that he had the technician put the car in park and shook the car and he could feel that the parking mechanism was holding and that he was absolutely certain that the car moved because of the ice. I repeated what I had told him on the phone about how it doesnt make sense that my car would move when it was parked on dry pavement and had never moved previously. The man at the register told me that, If it happens again, just bring it in and we will spend your money to find out whats going on.I do not appreciate when people make me feel like my legitimate concerns arent valid and that I dont know what Im talking about. I have kids and I need to make sure that my vehicle is safe for us to be around and having these men belittle my concerns is infuriating. I will be taking my car elsewhere from now on and do NOT recommend.

Grismer of Centerville did a great job diagnosing the loud noise my car was making which made driving at high speeds a mind numbing experience. The technician Anthony expertly figured out the problem was a new right ball-bearing casing with a test drive and then fixed it. My car drives so much more smoothly and quietly! My daughter was going to be home from college in another state for only 4 hours and she had reported a couple different concerning problems with her car. I called and asked them to look at it during the short window. They said they were already booked up but to bring it in and they would do their best. They were great about assessing it rather quickly and determining it wasnt serious, plus they had it completely repaired and ready to go in just 2 hours. We have been taking all 4 of our vehicles to Grismer in Centerville for over 12 years so we highly recommend them.

Every time I come to this Grismer I am greeted with a smile. The prices are very decent and whoever did my oil change did an excellent job at a great price. If you want to wait on your vehicle, the waiting area is comfortable and has beverages and snacks for purchase.

There were some initial issues when I got an oil change. Manager politely listened to my explanation of concerns. He then had the issues addressed immediately. In fact, he went above and beyond by providing a new battery free of charge since the techs had neglected to inform me clearly about the issue. Definitely would recommend them.
