THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING. My husband and I were headed up north from St. George when our car started smelling like exhaust. We went to two other places that didn’t have time to help us but this place had us pull right in. He checked the engine and under carriage just to find we had rotten gas. He sent us to a specific store with the best priced products to fix the solution. AND he didn’t charge us and wished us a good trip. Not to mention the front desk lady was such good company while I waited. These guys are good people with great service.

Awesome! Best exhaust shop for sure! Ripped apart by exhaust on my truck right behind the catalytic converter day before Thanksgiving. They got me in right away and had new pipe welded up for a better price than I would have expected all in about 20 minutes! Highly recommend this shop.

Super Frustrating experience. Long Review, but detailed.I read the reviews, which seemed really great. My experience here was rough to say the least. My car was there for just two days shy of a month. It was the most frustrating business I have ever worked with. I completely understand that things happen but there was zero communication on their end and weeks of runaround.I showed up with the car the day I got it to get a quote, John looked under the car, told me everything exhaust related including *both* catalytic converters was missing. That the car shouldnt be driven at all (dangerous) and that I needed to park it. Gave me a quote for 1500 with both cats (550 and 650 each) If I had him build the exhaust system or 2200 for all factory parts with cats.I took it home and got under the car. The cats were both still there, with some pipe that had been cut about 7-10 inches out, but everything else was missing, I took pics for him. I figured it was an honest mistake because most of the reviews were so great.I took the car back (friday) with my uncle and showed pics that both the cats were there and that I only needed everything from there on. Then he told me my car actually needed 3-4 cats. (It needs 2 according to fords factory diagram.) He tried to tell me the resonator assembly was actually two more cats. Then I showed him the factory diagram and he was like okay, for what you want it would be 750 including labor (I specifically asked and he said the 750 was including labor), but said Id only need to pay shipping at pickup. I paid the 750, and asked when it would be ready and he said hed have the parts in by the upcoming Wednesday and it would be ready by the end of next week. I was happy!I called them up the following friday, and John said it was not ready, that Id need to pay 400$ in freight if it was to be done asap. I told him I cant afford that much so I could wait an extra week but no longer as I cant be without a car that long. Another week goes by and I hear nothing, so I call and they tell me that john isnt there to call back later. After that they did not answer my calls for over a week. 3 1/2 weeks into this I go back to the shop and the car is STILL not ready, John makes a call then tells me it will be ready no later than Thursday.I called on Thursday and someone tells me my car is not ready and I need to call back the following day. I call back Friday and no answer (busy sound all day like the phone was left off the hook). I call back on Monday and Im told that my car still is not ready, and that I need to speak with John directly and he would be back the following day. I call back tuesday and no answer.I give them the benefit of the doubt that perhaps they meant the NEXT Thursday instead of last Thursday. I give up completely on phones and just go in again on Thursday. John tells me as I walk in Your car has been ready since last thursday. I got pretty upset and I asked why was I told it wasnt ready when I called? and he says I am not sure, the papers were here then shrugs and says must have lost the paperwork. At this point Im a bit more than upset. He then says Ill add up the labor, taxes, and shipping and get you on your way. I said, but you told me I only owe shipping when I pick up. He says Ive easily put more than 1000$ in parts because he had to make a custom pipe. (What?) I then told him I have never experienced something so frustrating, and unprofessional, this isnt right. and he said Well you better toughen up because things are about to get alot worse for you. Ive been in business over 40 years and never had someone throw a tantrum like this. I knew your dad and grandpa, etc.I explained I have lost out on almost a month of work, and I asked why he said I paid for everything except shipping, and my uncle, a police officer, witnessed it, and I could call him down to verify if hed like.. He then throws my keys at me over the counter, and tells me just take your car and go.Yeah I was angry and in tears but really sir, did you need to be so rude?

John the owner did a great job replacing my muffler, I showed up early and he had the job done in about twenty minutes, the cost was about the same as Warrantied Midas muffler which I had been doing for years.I would recommend this muffler shop to anyone within one hundred miles of Cedar City.

I told the man at the counter that I needed new catalytic converters and that they needed to be California compliant, as I was going to be moving back to California. He gave me a quote and proceeded with the work. Now I’m in California and none of the new parts are CA compliant. I wasted my money at this store and I feel duped. They probably figured I’d never be back, so they just took my money. Too bad I can’t give Zero stars.

City Muffler is the best shop in Cedar for exhaust systems, as well as audio systems for your vehicle. They treat you good and they dont overcharge.

Went in a couple of weeks ago and got a new exhaust put on my truck. An unrelated issue caused an exhaust leak, so I dropped my truck off to get it fixed and when I came back to pick it up and pay, I was told no cost. That kind of customer service is RARE these days and much appreciated! Thank you guys.

I went in thinking my catalytic converter was bad, these guys are HONEST and told me the part was fine!They could have pretended that something was wrong to make some free money, but instead they were honest, and THAT is something that will bring me back when I do need their help

Terrible muffler shop!!! They used 2 inch piping on my dual 2 1/4 exhaust, there are holes in there welding, They cut up my heat shield instead of removing my exhaust. They used regular steel and stainless so i have a rusty and shiny exhaust sections. And when i brought this to there attention they yelled at me to leave!
