This is primarily Spanish speaking staff, speaking Spanish increase communication between customers and staff.There is a great selection of meats and veggies. When seasonal foods are available the quality is 100% and cost is very reasonable.It is great to support local business.

I am not a regular here - I stop in maybe every 6 months for something i need quick and cheap like an avocado or grapes or a dessert. I do find the fruit and produce to be very reasonable priced but the quality is mixed. But i recognize the importance of a store that caters twords a specific ethnicity. This store is loaded with items that cater to a Latin clientele. When i was growing up Id go to a Middle Eastern Market with my dad or Grandmother. My mom would often take me to an Italian Market. This business provides a valuable service of allowing Latin people to purchase food they seek all in 1 location and it looked to me that it was also very social. The checkout lady seemed to know both ladys in front of me very well. Also a customer dropped a glass jar and liquid and glass was everywhere. 2 or 3 employees where there within seconds to clean up and temporarily rope the area off. This shows pride and concern for the safety of the stores shoppers. This market servers a niche and they seem to do it very well.

The vegetables were priced just right and the selection was good! I especially liked the independent bakery they have inside

Great Produce shop. I have gone to the one in Longwood for years. Recently I tried the one at 436 and Howell Branch in Casselberry. It is bigger and has a better variety.I always walk out with more than I planned and love it. Escarole, Kirby cucumbers, fresh dill, awesome Romaine and way more. Im coming back to this one again soon.

Ive lived in this area for many years and Ive tried to like Fancy Fruit and Produce and I think that they have very bad prices and not the greatest produce either. I go there once in awhile because sometimes they have a decent price on one particular kind of meat or chicken, but Im certainly not impressed. In addition to that, theyre not very clean. Really the worst thing I would say are the prices. Today I bought a watermelon I had to cut through to the inner third before I had any red flesh of the watermelon! Ive never had a watermelon like that before and it looked fine from the outside.

This store is larger than the others I have visited in this area. It is neat and well organized. I visit these stores as I like to buy fresh, malangas, yautias, platanos, etc. Offers a large variety of different mainland and tropical vegetables as well as many tropical fruits. I noted many more items that would save you another trip to your local supermarket.

I love that I could find all my Hispanic food and rooted vegetables. They need more cashiers but they are friendly

Great little fruit shop with a lot of really good prices and fresh fruit daily. They also have a small Colombian Bakery within the store which has some delicious baked goods. When we are in the area and we need fresh fruits or are in the mood for a nice sweet treat we stop by. They also have a nice selection of imported goods from Central and South America. this is one of the only places that I have been to in the United States that has chicken hearts.

Great authentic Latin grocer! If you get there early, the deli will have fresh bread ready. I recommend it.

Fancy fruit is starting to be nasty! Peppers were rotting on top of peppers. Green, read or mixed colored. How do you keep that. My fingers went right into one! Then I saw steak that looked old on the tips as if it was cooked! What happened to fresh vegetables! Ill pay at Publix and Walmart!

Get all of my fruit here. Cheaper, fresher, with a larger variety. How can you not love it?

Great prices for meat and produce. Occasionally have had to return over ripe produce. Some of the staff are kind and friendly. Others are down right rude: blocking the isle your trying to get to. Look at you a couple times and return to stocking the shelves. Later, glance to see if youre still there and then continue stocking shelves. Never attempted to move a little so the cart could pass by. After standing there a few minutes, I left. and made my concern known to the cashier. Thats as far as it got. On a couple other occasions an older woman, speaking Spanish has identified me by what she assumed my nationality was (SMH!). I made it known I understood Spanish. When I visit, they appear friendlier and speak to me in English.

Clean, fresh convenient shopping... A little patience and maybe a smile from cashiers would make it 100%

I love how the store is always organized, and the employees know where things are when asked fof them. The cashout line is always fast moving never a long wait.

I only get my produce and chicken from here now. The fruits are perfect, always fresh and how they should be. The quality here in my opinion is better than publix or anywhere I’ve been. The chicken is such good value and again better than the chicken I’ve bought at publix or Costco. The staff are friendly and everything is just so fresh. I cannot recommend it enough.In reference to the racist review from ‘guru liquidations’ below: I am English and don’t speak a word of Spanish and they literally are always kind. They never look down on me for speaking English. Believe me I’m from London, I’m the detention of English. You probably just had a stank attitude towards them and your underlying racism made you mad.

Had what I was looking for and at a decent price

I dont get my meat or produce anywhere else!

Went to fancy fruit like always. We shop there every weekend. Decided to buy there premium scallops. One container weighed .53 onces and the others weight was .58 so basically just over 1 pound of scallops between the 2. Tonight for dinner we thawed out the scallops. Once thawed there was not much scallops in each container. We drained the water from each container and poured the scallops togeather in one container. After weighing the container we got 9 onces just over a half a pound when we should have had over a pound of scallops. They are charging you for water half the weigh of the container. Just called the manager at the Casselberry location and he wanted to argue with me that its not something they package that they buy it from somewhere else. I told him I dont care thats not the issue the issue is they are charging for a half a pound of scallops when theyre only giving you a quarter of a pound the rest is water weight. He did not even seem to care and said he would speak with the Butcher and maybe they should buy their stuff from a different supplier. No making it correct with the customer. They just flat out didnt care. Bad business.

I come here for the low prices and large vegetable variety. The meats are also well priced and always fresh. The staff leaves a bit to be desired but overall a good place to get incredible bargains.

Excellent little grocery store with excellent prices. The meats always look great and I think are locally sourced so thats always a plus, and I dont think they use preservatives in them either. Always have great deals on the essential veggies (onions, peppers, carrots, broccoli, etc), cheaper than youll see in any grocery store and fresher quality, too. Always my first choice!!

I called to ask a question during their business hours. The woman who answered grumpily said they were closing soon. I said, I just wanted an answer to my question to see if they had something in stock. She said yes and that they were closing soon and then hung up on me. Even if they have what I want, I will not be giving them my business because of this truly abysmal customer service.

Ironically, Fancy Fruit & Produce is such a great place to buy sensibly priced meat, that I almost hate to tell you all about it... its one of those cost saving meat markets thats so good that Ill actually avoid buying higher priced meats, while in the big chain stores, so that I can stop on the way home and buy my meat separately here. Ive shopped at this place a good number of times in the past without any problem. It was actually an enjoyable experience. Today, however, was absolutely horrible. I showed up at 7:40. This is 20 minutes before their closing time of 8PM. The associate outside by the carts very rudely and condescendingly yelled dont you see the sign like I was trash! The sign said we close 15 minutes before closing time. Well...Then 8PM is NOT the closing time....duh. Put 7:45, and learn respect. I came to your store to spend my hard earned money, dont treat me like a nuisance. Do you want money? You are not getting mine ever again or the three other upset customers who were at the door you disrespected. If your management is serious about treating customers well they should do away with their stupid closing policy and fire you!

As soon as I walk in I want to walk out.Super dirty,,,, the floor have produce all over. Poor produce quality the meat look green and yellow. I was in shock the same way that I get there I got out empty handed. I rather spend a little more but for sure better quality.

I like to shop at Fancy Fruit, and its the only place where we can shop for a very wide variety of latin foods.

Well, once you come to Fancy you realize why the prices are lower than the other markets. The store is usually clean enough. The site is packed with product and a lot from other countries. Fruit & veggie section is extensive and Usually pretty fresh...though I have seen veggies wilting off and on. If you are a ginger fan, you should try this place! Lots of huge roots, and different varieties of squashes, sweet potatoes, and other root veggies. Good selection of frozen foods, great egg prices, and the meat selection has a great variety. But...make sure youve gone to the bathroom elsewhere Before you go to Fancy. The back area, where the tiny break room and bathrooms are located, stinks to the point of making you want to vomit, is filthy, and rather shocking. If I hadnt gotten chicken juice on my hands from a package (there are NO sanitation stations out on the floor) I wouldnt have experienced the back area. GROSS. Thus, the three stars.

Typical bulk and packaged produce items found in most supermarkets along with an interesting assortment of Caribbean and Latin American produce items. This grocer also carries meat, dairy and a variety of packaged food products. Clean interior but limited parking in front of store. Prices are very good compared with regional supermarkets. Will return here for purchase of groceries especially for ethnic recipes calling for non-standard big grocery store items.

My first time. Daughter just moved here. Many different fruits and veggies. Nice to see such a wide variety. Reasonable prices. Fresh produce. A few bargains. In the back corner a little surprise of a small bakery with wonderful no-nos that look so yummy good. Very surprised glad I went in. They also sell fresh meat, frozen food, canned goods, dairy. A treasure on the corner of a strip plaza.

This is my second and my last time going to the store I liked going fancy fruit because of the fresh fruits, meat and the price is reasonable but I will not go back again because of the staff. starting from the manager. the staff are rude and very disrespectful today the only one that was nice and say hello and have a great day was the young girl that cash me out Well Done but the rest of them very disrespectful will never go back there again. I will go out of my way and pay more money than to go back there. Change your manager and change your stuff. Hire people that loves working with people and love their job.

Great prices, tons of vegetables and fruits, with several ethnic specialties. Giant sized containers of herbs and spices, but there are limits to what you can get here. Always easy on the pocketbook though and the produce is fresh. However, I have not seen organically grown produce featured.

Great, fresh meat at better prices than any grocery store. I only buy my meats here. Veggies are hit and miss. Sometimes they have great sized cauliflower and cabbage, sometimes everything looks wilted. Carrots and sweet potatoes are always good. Great selection of spices.

Good prices, unless the country is going through an pandemic (at which point theyll hike the prices up and not hesitate to change prices after you grab merchandise off the shelves). I understand supply and demand but they are past that and still profiting on top of that while people are trying to prepare and/or panic shopping. Not cool, Fancy Fruit. Busy Busy Busy.... I normally patronize the Orange City location. This is the first time Ive been in the Casselberry store. Fancy Fruit & Produce is one of my favorite stores for produce, great prices and the staff is always nice.

Good for when youre on a budget. Large selection of Latin products. I pick and choose what i purchase carefully.

Great selection on meats, cheap prices. Make sure you freeze the meats once you buy them. They will go bad very quickly if you do not.

Consumers when you go to this store to buy meat check the expiration date i bought meat the other day and was rotten and the tag said that it was packaged the same day .they told me that i left the meat in my car for hours i live 10 minutes away from the store

I maybe didn’t have luck enough when choosing the day to go, a Friday. Many option but fruits weren’t that fresh... a peach was so good looking outside but when I got back home, it was miserable inside, straight to trash can. Vegetable were ok, but not the fruits.Not sure if I’ll try again, not on a Friday afternoon for sure.
