Very easy to work with, and informative about what was going on with my bmw i3. When it came to the work that needed to be done they were not pushy about any extra work witch was nice. Other place were very pushy and they tried to charge up the nose. Mekaniks plus was a much appreciated change in attitude with mechanics for my experience.

Aside from demonstrated knowledge and experience, what’s the one thing you look for in a mechanic? Honesty. You’ll get it here. Hector and the team at Mekanics Plus are straight shooters and affordable. Glad I did my research and found them. Saved me $1300 the dealer was trying to rob from me.

I have a Mercedes and I know how integral it is to find a mechanic that knows foreign cars. I gave this place a shot as they came up with so many positive reviews and they specialize in foreign cars.Customer Service: This place was professional, very humble and were pretty quick to find the problems my car had. I received a break down of the issues and cost.Cost: The repair costs were not cheap - but - I believe fairly priced. Although I appreciate a good deal I believe you need to pay for quality. They were upfront with the cost and time it would take to complete myrepairs.Atmosphere: The shop was organized and clean which is also not so common with shops.Quality: when I drove off I could feel a difference in how my car handled and I drove it all over the place even up and down Spanish Hills.

Took my Son’s Mercedes in to have the air cond. fixed. Hector and his staff did an excellent job at a great price. Will definitely be bringing all my other vehicles to them as well in the future. Thank you again guys for great service and professionalism.

I brought the car in as I had several warning lights on and shifting was suddenly very rough. They did a thorough diagnosis and found several problems and gave an estimate for the repair and I approved. Then they did another diagnostic and even though they said it was at no charge I was billed for it and had to dispute to get that reversed. They found more things to fix and I also approved them. I was promised that I would have no warning lights if I did all the repairs. I paid the bill and as I picked up the car they had one alert that popped back up. But is they offered a warrantee I took the car and brought it back for the final alert to be fixed under warrantee. They are refusing to cover the repair under warrantee despite not one but two thorough diagnostic tests and my approving of all the required work. The car was well cared for but their refusal to work with me on this issue will keep me from going back as I have to trust my mechanics word to continue working with them. Trust is necessary in any business relationship and they are not interested in standing behind their promise.UPDATEOwner called immediately after this listing and offered to cover the issue at no cost. Explained he depended on good experiences for his long history of satisfied customers. Brought the car back and the problem was simple and minor, just a small issue with wiring to the sensor so all good.

Awesome friendly service

Excellent shop, brought my S63 to them reluctantly because I have only allowed one mechanic to work on it for years. Being a mechanic myself, I was very concerned for my baby. They took great care of her and me. Knowledge and experience is the best. Great technicians. Honest and great customer service.

On a friends recommendation I got my 2012 Rav4 serviced with a complete inspection and I have to say that I was extremely satisfied with my experience here. The shop was nice and clean and the staff there was wonderful! As a female, I always feel like I should bring a guy with me when I take my car to a shop just so I dont get the wool pulled over my eyes or get charged with inflated prices but the staff there was really professional and honest. It was also reasonably priced and affordable. I will definitely be taking my car back whenever it needs to be serviced, make sure to ask for Christian!

I recently had a tune up done and have to say these guys pay attention to the details. From a great lounge with DirectTV to the welcoming staff. Christian made sure I was in good hands throughout the process which made me feel confident leaving the shop. Job well done guys!

One of the most honest, straightforward companies I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They always are looking out for you, the customer. Always felt like I have been treated both exceptionally well and yet still pay a very reasonable and fair price for any services from Mekaniks Plus.

I cant say enough good things about this shop. Our BMW check engine light turned one day while driving to work, car started idling rough. On a recommendation we brought it to Mekaniks Plus Camarillo even though I didnt have an appointment they made time in their busy day to squeeze us in as a emergency service manager Hector is straight shooter, hell tell you what needs to be done, what can wait. Great work at a honest price. Sorry BMW dealer youve lost another customer to these guys.

I normally take my Toyota Prius to the dealership for any service, including oil changes. However, I was told by a friend that Mekaniks Plus has a very helpful and knowledgeable staff so I took a chance on them. I was pleasantly surprised by their service.They did an amazing job on my Prius. It runs like new and Im almost at 70K miles. I definitely recommend them for your oil changes and major service needs. Their friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff will take good care of your car.

Mekanik Plus in Camarillo has been doing service for both our Audis since many years. When the engine in the 2001 TT gave up, Morris agreed to exchange the engine and his estimate was very reasonable. They replaced the entire engine and took care of many other little issues. The car drives like new. They did an an amazing job. Highly recommend them also for major repairs.

I went last week to this place to see if they could work on my BMW for a transmission shifting problem. The dealer had told me I needed a transmission, so I wanted a second opinion. Christian was very helpful and took me in without an appointment right away. They gave me a ride home and told me they would call me with the results. Mind you, I did not tell them my car was previously at the dealer and what theyre diagnosis was.After about 2 hours Christian called me back and said they were able to feel the concern and had determined the problem to be a part inside the transmission called a TCM. Heres where it turned out a little different than the dealer, he goes on to tell me the TCM will need to be replaced and that will fix my shifting concern. He assured me the transmission is okay and would give me a 2 year warranty with the repair. I was skeptical and asked, are you sure the transmission is okay because thats what the dealer had said was the problem. So then to further assure me, he said he would apply any money spent on the TCM to the replacement of the transmission if needed. I never heard of that type of guarantee, so I had nothing to lose since the TCM was about half the cost of a transmission. I authorized the repair and received my car back this morning, all I can say is WOW!! the car feels great and I saved a lot of money by going for a second opinion with this place. I am very happy with the experience I received from Christian and the place in general. Looks like I found my new go to place for my beemer!!
