I had a fantastic experience working with Dave and Mark to get a pair of Garmin dash cameras and Escort Direct Wire installed on my 2019 Civic Type R. They were super polite and incredibly passionate about their work, which is impeccable. The install is so clean that I forget its there. Youd be a hard pressed to find anyone better in the industry.

I was starting to have issues with my current system and thought it would be time to upgrade. After looking at a few places online, I decided to check out SoundDoctor911 and I’m glad I did! David is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to answer any questions you may have. He recommended a Jensen unit and I scheduled the install. His crew did a fantastic job! Not only installing the receiver, but diagnosing a speaker issue, repairing it properly, and adding a control for the sub woofers on the dash so there is no need to go thru the system settings to adjust it as needed. They also took the time to “tune” the amps. The sound is nothing short of amazing! It’s like an entirely new system. He even took time to help troubleshoot issues with the Car Play feature that was a problem with my phone…that’s service above and beyond. This is the same review I left on Yelp, wanted to share my experience on multiple sites.I received a dash cam as a gift and was looking around for someone to install it. Did a search on line and found Sound Doctor 911. They were pretty close by and had a great rating so I called and asked if they could install something like that. They had me up and running pretty quickly and its tucked away behind my rear view mirror, the cable is well hidden, too. Extremely satisfied with the work performed, plus the customer service was outstanding. I just met them when taking my car in, but I was treated like I was a familiar face that had work done there regularly. If I ever need something else done, Sound Doctor 911 will be the first (and probably only) place that I call!

What more is there to say when the reviews speak for themselves. Ive been doing business with David and Mark for about 3 years now. Theyve taken a dream and built it into fruition. The front stage in my car isnt your typical 2 or 3 way set up which perplexed me because I always thought that was the way to go for audio performance. The team at Sound Doctor 911 have outdone themselves and I believe they deserve every bit of business that comes their way. Just recently, my front door speaker had been making an odd sound for a few months already. I took it in to get looked at and turns out 1 speaker of the pair had blown. Not surprised, things like this happen and everything breaks eventually. So we got the speakers swapped out for an upgrade. Granted my front stage setup went beyond my expectations when we first did the job. Music is a huge influence in my life and I want to be able to experience it the way I want to in my vehicle. Ill be coming here as long as they are open for business and Ill tell you we have plans to to make my set up even greater. Id like to add that their installer Juan is very hard working, kind, and knowledgeable part of the team at Sound Doctor 911. Always good vibes when I come here.

The service that I received from Dave and his team at the Sound Doctor was amazing. Coming all the way from LA county area because he is highly recommend when it comes to marine sound systems. The boat community knows him well. They installed an excellent sound system for an affordable price. They actually saved me money, I was able to use my existing deck with a few small upgrades. They were excellent in scheduling me in to bring my boat and very flexible when it came time to pick it up. I highly recommend this place for all your boat sound system needs. I had an amazing experience at the sound Dr, my car had been giving me starting trouble all morning and these guys took me in day of and were able to tell me that my alarm system (with a kill switch) was not the issue but indeed my starter within the first ten minutes of the car being in the shop.They got the car started, told me what the issue was and even recommended a local shop to get the issue handled. 100% a forever customer and im coming back to get audio installed.

I am a car stereo nerd. I want to hear music, every single note, but Im not mechanically gifted. Over decades I have been to countless car stereo places, so I was skeptical, perhaps jaded, when I came upon this place. I cannot say enough good stuff about these guys. Everyone there is fantastic. They installed a complete system including tower speakers in my old boat and were able to salvage my old powered subs and remount them -saving me $. They replaced my single din with a double din in my 2008 Chevy along with a back up camera (looks like it came from the factory). They also installed a stereo in my sons 2005 Jeep which I know was a chore along with a backup camera as well. They installed a new stereo, amps and speakers in my new boat and are currently building a new box for my existing 16 sub. If your looking for an honest, reliable seller/installer who will make your system pump within your budget. These guys are it!

There are times in life where you run into businesses that are so perfectly managed and operated that it shocks you. This is the experience I had today with Dave at SD911.I dropped by around 4:30 to inquire about getting a back up camera system for my 2002 4runner. Dave showed me two options incorporating the camera into a rear view mirror. He quoted me the all in price on the one we picked and I said hows tomorrow for the install He said How about tonight? (Shocked looked on my face.)Dave drove me home, called about 1 hour later and said itll be ready at 7:15...do you have a ride? Or do you need one? (I had a ride) Got there at 7:15. He showed me the system...worked perfectly! Cant see a single wire. Flawless.So this is the longest review Ive ever written, but this is SUCH a great business and is SO superior to the big box corporate monsters that have taken over. I felt an obligation to share my experience in detail.I urge you to at least chat with SD911 before going to Frys or Best Buy etc..... And dont think itll cost more. My system cost LESS than what the other guys were indicating online.

This is a professional operation in every respect. Despite their off-the-beaten path location (not for long, though), they lived up to the promise of a friend. He steered me to them after their dash-cam installation saved his butt following a total head-on collision--the argument ended quickly, he told me, When I told her, yeah, but I have a dash-cam! Now, I have one, too, front & back, all in less than two hours and a no B.S. exchange with Mark. Nothing fancy, just exactly what you pay for!!!

The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one is because the guy who actually works on the installs was knowledgeable and seemed straight forward but the owner/used car sales man was one of the most untrustworthy people Ive came across in the field. First he tried selling me on a deck that was 90 on Amazon and 100 everywhere else for 130 then I told him I need a basic wiring kit for my Amp and sub and he tried selling me a wire kit for 79$ but he would throw in a kit with the capacitor included, when I told him I didnt even need a capacitor he pulled out a wire kit without one and said he would sell it for 45... The overall experience seemed exactly like going to a shady used car lot.Since this happened Ive heard from a couple other people that he has overcharged them and didnt have there best interest at heart. I would not recommend this shop to anyone especially someone who doesnt know a lot about audio systems because he will definitely take advantage of you

With countless car audio store options, and many knowledgeable sound advisors, its the exception when a business owner invests whatever time is needed (free of distractions) to understand their customers needs, reflects to design a thoughtful plan of action, candidly discusses different audio solutions, leads their team to install the components, uses advanced technology to make sure the system is perfect, and afterwards, takes a moment with the client to savor the final product and insure it is nothing short of spectacular. That is what distinguishes David from many other audio shops. In my case, a little over 2 years ago, I invested a lot in an audio system which didnt sound right at high volumes. The owner of the original shop who installed the system, after only a few seconds of listening, abruptly recommended an expensive upsell instead of owning the sound issue (which left a bad taste and caused me to explore alternatives). During my first visit to Sound Concept 911, David spent 45 minutes with me listening to my system, brainstorming to understand my music preferences and budget, and analyzing the pros/cons of various options (his patience, expertise and fair pricing had me at hello). After the job was done, he explained the install in detail including the corrective work taken to eliminate my system issues. Thanks to David, my sound system is now a crystal clear, really loud, concert hall on wheels. Owners like David make the very compelling reason to support local businesses. From beginning to end, it was a great experience.

I wanted a complete system (DVD, Navigation, Rear View Camera, Sirius, Sound etc), installed in my Mercedes Sprint Van. I called Sound Doctor 911 inCamarillo, CA., and spoke with Dave, the owner. It was immediately apparent he was passionate and excited about his business, so I took my van to him foran estimate. After Dave spent almost an hour with me, explaining what could and should be done, he gave me a very reasonable estimate. I made arrangementsto leave my van with Sound Doctor 911, and gave them 4 days to complete the job. Not only did Sound Doctor 911 do a great job, but they honored their estimate (eventhough it took more work than he planned), but they had it finished a day early. Even more ... they vacuumed the interior, washed my windows, and deliveredmy van to my home. They spent some time teaching me how to use my system. I very highly recommend Sound Doctor 911 to anyone who needs car audio, security,navigation, or ... just ask. These guys do just about everything!They are the best in the biz, I trusted these guys and they delivered all and more of their promises, 5 plus stars..

The radio antenna on my Toyota Sienna broke off in a car wash. I took the vehicle to a dealership. They quoted me a price of $150 if they could drill out and rethread the old base, or it would be $400 to $500 if they had to replace the entire assembly. I went and talked to David at Sound Doctor 911. He said he would do everything he could to save me money, and he seemed VERY honest and trustworthy. He said the worst-case scenario would be if he had to replace the entire assembly, and quoted me a price that was a fraction of the dealership price. Long story short, after a lot of effort and patience, they were able to salvage the base and install a new mast, all for about a hundred bucks. I cant say enough about David and his staff. They are very professional, take obvious pride in their work, and show genuine care and concern for the customer.

Highly recommend this place. Staff seriously take care of ur vehicle. Highly qualified and knowledgeable employees. You won’t regret it. Only thing you might regret is calling them at 6am hahahaha. I have been an automation engineer for 21 years, but before that I was deeply immersed in the high end audio design business, first for cars and later for homes. I have owned my own car audio shop, judged sound off competitions, and have been an audiophile since I was 12, so I am VERY particular about my sound systems. I met with Dave at Sound Doctor and was immediately struck by his enthusiasm, the breadth and depth of his knowledge of car audio, sound quailty, and attention to detail in the installation process.I left my car with Dave and his able crew for one day. The level of improvement is difficult to overstate; it is simply spectacular, in the true sense of that often overused term. His manner and enthusiasm and professionalism is just icing on the cake.Its the best car audio shop Ive ever been to and, folks, Ive been to a bunch.Bravo, David, to you and your very talented guys.

So I brought my 2017 ram 1500 in to have a complete system install. Subs door speakers rearview camera 4 channel amp for the speakers and a mono block amp to power my subs. I couldnt be happier with how it came out. Completely professional installation and not a single wire in sight. Im not a very trusting person I do not like people touching my Vehicle but I couldnt have gotten a better vibe from the shop. Install bay was completely clean no trash. Very goos house keeping. We did a walk around of my truck before and after the installation to make sure no damage was done to my truck. Not many shops will do that. If you are on the fence about letting this shop do your stereo dont be I couldnt be any happier.

You know how things seem too good to be true so you don’t believe them? I held off on my opinion because I was blown away by Dave the owner at Sounddoctor911 and thought “no way could it be this great, there must be something that will go wrong”. But it didn’t. It just kept getting better and better.I find that customer service in general is far different than it used to be when I was a kid. I often feel that the person is bothered by having to serve me. But being at Sounddoctor911, it’s like being Dorothy seeing the farm in black and white and then stepping into the colored world of Oz.Dave knows how to make a customer feel valued and respected and individualizes his service for the desires and pocket depth of the person. He never made me feel dumb even though I am truly ignorant about sound systems.I never felt pressured to spend more yet he gives higher end options if you ask for comparison choices, and will answer honestly about advantages and disadvantages rather than trying to convince. This is so important to someone who is ignorant about sound systems.There were several things he did as special touches that no one would expect:1. He entrusted me his car for the day while he worked on my speaker replacement and sound deadening. Unbelievable.2. He put wooden bases under the speakers rather than the plastic simply because it was going to work better even though that wasn’t in the original estimate for no extra cost.3. He kept answering my calls and emails about details of my online research before we firmed up choices.4. He discounted it as far as he could considering my budget.5. He gave me something free because he had misjudged what I would need for the set up and held to his original estimate instead of calling me to say he had to charge more if he went this direction.6. He took pictures and updated me along the way.7. He had me come in to hear the sound before he reinstalled he seat to be sure I liked the sound settings.8. After wards he encouraged me to listen for a week and come back with any desire for setting changes.9. I did return and he advised me on management of my self adjustment bass and treble settings on my dash for different types of songs to optimize enjoyment of my wide variety of genres.10. He guaranteed all his work.On top of all that he is kind and genuine. And Juan the tech was so polite and patient waiting for me to listen to several songs before putting the seat back in.I’m coming back for all future audio needs

One of the best experiences Ive had with an auto anything.Quality of works man ship is evident but most importantly is trust. He did not try to upsell me was not afraid to give an estimate over the phone and when the was done he came in under.I bought speakers from Crutchfield and was going to do the job myself. Once I popped the dash I didnt want to mess with the harness.I called the Dr. - he had me in and out in 30 minutes and was under the quote he stated on the phone.

David and his crew at Sound Doctor 911 is absolutely amazing at everything they do they are truly passionate and experienced in what they do and they care about what thier customers think about the products, cost, and outcome they make sure it is done right my boyfriend and I drive 2+ hours each way to go to Sound Doctor 911 because we both compete in audio competitions and we dont trust going to anyone else my boyfriend has taken state champion 2 years in a row because of David and his crew at Sound Doctor 911 they always amaze us with the quality work they do I even went in Friday to get underglow done on my car because they do more than just audio stuff and it turned out great I love it I am looking forward to more upgrades soon I highly recommend the guys at Sound Doctor 911 they have become like family because not only do they do great work they treat customers with respect and they are trustworthy and honest people
