Engine light was on in our 10 year old truck. The code was for an evap leak. Turned out to just be a bad sensor that needed replacement. Very fair and competitive price for the work provided. Honest, quick, and communicative.Update: 4/30/202My engine light came back on and wouldnt clear from the system so it wouldnt pass smog. Adolfo Auto Care took my car back and worked on it to track the issue down. They replaced the sensor again as well as several valves, and did every diagnostic they could to solve the problem. Unfortunately it seems the issue is a computer error, which means it has to go back to the dealership for a fix, but that isnt Adolfo Auto Cares fault. When I asked for my bill they flat out refused to even let me pay them even though they did several days of hard work and replaced parts. This is a rare and very honest business staffed by good people. I highly recommend their services.

I don’t know if I can really say enough about Adolfo Auto Care. I have been going to this shop for years now and they have always performed so well. Ask for Juan.., he will take great care of you. In fact if I ever open an auto shop the first person I will try to steal is him. I just had my radiator replaced and when I went to pay after the repair, Juan lowered the price by $75. Which was obviously a pleasant surprise for me. I never seem to have any problems with the work this service center does. I have tried other repair centers and I always keep returning back to this one because no matter how great the reviews were they didn’t perform.

My car wouldnt start because of a battery that would not hold a charge. So I had a mechanic replace the battery. He told me that the alternator was not working properly either but the car was running.Since I didnt want to drive much with a bad alternator, I took the car to Adolfo Auto Center, because they had done a good job with previous repairs, and left it there to be fixed. A little while later, they called to say that there was no problem with the alternator and I could pick up the car. When I got there they told me there would be no charge.I am very impressed. In addition to doing a good job repairing my car previously, I really appreciate their honesty. They could have told me that they had replaced the alternator. I would not have known the difference.

Brought in car first thing Friday morning with what I suspected was a bad bearing. Friday is a very busy day for them, and they were already pretty booked. I told Juan I needed to get car back same day, because driving on a long road trip and that was my last chance to fix before. It took them all day to do the bearing, because he had to sub out part of the work. But Juan made sure I got the car back before they closed, and all work performed correctly. Very satisfied.

Brilliant! I took my wifes car in for a new Water Pump, they said it would be in repair for around 5 hours, they had it ready in 3 hours. Charged the exact amount estimated, it can cost $100 more at other garages. The staff projected a really calm pleasant atmosphere........... Unlike the major garages with stiff necked staff intent on gouging you. Just got ripped off by Toyota Thousand Oaks.

When my brakes failed and I was stranded, they worked hard to get my car fixed quickly and didnt overcharge me for it. Whats more, they waited for me after their closing time when my car was ready.3/13/19 Follow Up-HONEST, PROFESSIONAL-DO THINGS RIGHT: I had my 4Runner towed here on Saturday evening after the starter died and I was stranded elsewhere. This is a safe area so I wasnt worried. On Monday morning, I dropped off the key. As always, Juan was very courteous and friendly. Phone reception is very bad where I live, but Juan always works with me to communicate and soon I got a message with a quote, which seemed appropriate, so I said to go ahead. This is another thing I like. They always inform me of what the immediate problem(s) are to get the car safely running again. They dont scare people into getting a bunch of services and repairs that can wait. They work on whats immediately the problem(s). A couple of hours later, Juan sent me a message it was ready. When I got there, the amount charged was less than the quote. Apparently he was able to get a discount on the starter (Not a cheap one). There is a small town, honest, day to day people, no hassle and no pressure feel about doing business with them. Both Juan and Hector are always very courteous and professional. Of course I highly recommend them.

Adolfo auto care saves you money on major maintenance. Made an appointment with Juan so he could order the parts from Honda in advance. They completed a timing belt, and water pump for less than half of what my local dealer would charge, replaced my back shocks, six spark plugs (yes they last this long), and half of my front wheel axle. Job took one and half days but for the price Adolfo charged was worth it. I recommend Juan and his shop to anyone.

Just dropped in for the oil checkup, they were quick and they also topped off my radiator coolant for free cos it was low! Hector explained the work that needs to be done with great patience. Good job.

My family has been coming here for easily at least 10 years. The manager Juan is helpful and honest. I once thought i needed new brakes and he told me NOT to buy them yet and wait another few months before it was necessary. That could have been money out of his pocket if i chose to go somewhere else. I have nothing but good things to say about these guys.

I moved from Orange County and was looking for good and honest auto Care shop and Adolfo Auto Care is the place to take a car for repairs. I have been here twice already and on both times I received the best service and price. The mechanics here know their stuff. My car was failing emissions, I took it to 3 different shops and they said I needed to replace my catalytic converters but once I took it to Adolfo Auto Care, they were able to diagnose the problem and nothing to do with catalytic converter. They saved me a whole lot of money.

Now that weve been here a few times, I cant imagine going anywhere else. These guys are honest, and wont overcharge for things you dont actually need!! I really appreciate how well theyll explain the problems and discuss the options without pushing you to do extra work.

I was really happy with the service I received at Adolfo Auto Care. They were able to repair something that another repair shop failed to diagnose properly. And the cost was lower than quoted because they were kind enough to take the time to find that my part was under warranty. I will definitely be going back in the future.

I just wasted my entire Saturday morning waiting for Adolfo Auto Care to complete a routine service on my car.I made an appointment for a specific time, and was told it would be done in about 90 minutes. I returned over 2 hours later to find out that they hadnt even started working on it.The owner, Juan, had no explanation or apology beyond Its been a weird day.If Juan or his staff had the basic courtesy to call me and let me know about the delay, I could have made other arrangements to have my car serviced. I was looking for a new shop, and Juan lost the opportunity to gain a new customer due to his shops apathy and terrible customer service. Dont make the same mistake I did - Adolfo Auto Care doesnt deserve your business.

Time wasted on both ends out of their apparent greed.Went in for an Uber inspection. Instead of just scrapping the inspection as soon as they saw my tire (which I pointed out from the beginning)and advise me go get the tire fixed before moving forward with inspection to save us both time—no... no They went through the whole inspection process keeping me there only to see Failure paperwork at the end of it all which included driving my car around the joint… Which is littered with Dusty cars in every parking spot possible.They are very obviously more interested in their money which they get for every inspection for Uber.
